Kagura unloaded another clip into her target, able to cover the collection of holes in the silhouette with a single coin. "We have to be prepared for everything."
The demoness pursed her lips. Ever since the invention of the firearm, humans had gone out of their way to improve its deadly accuracy.
To the point of laying waste to their own kind in order to test them out.
She crossed her arms, the expensive fabric of her baby blue pantsuit creasing as she leaned against the barrier. Her mate emptied another clip, each one hitting a vital organ of the paper man at the other end of the room, then finally removed her own headgear.
"You don't have to come with me when I do this, you know. I won't hold it against you." She pressed the button to collect her target, the soft whirring drowning out the gunshots from the other stalls.
"Just because I do not agree with the humans' need to put holes in each other does not mean I do not enjoy spending time with you," she said with a sniff. "And I cannot deny your talent in this field."
Kagura chuckled softly, interlocking their fingers before kissing the back of her mate's hand. "All the better to protect you with, love."
