The next day, Lola's family and I had breakfast that Francine made herself. Everything she made was very delicious. If Francine ever reads this, I just want her to know that I will never forget all the lovely pancakes, the tasty toast with the spreading options of butter, jelly or marmalade, the delicious sausages, the yummy bacon, the heavenly eggs, the mouth-watering waffles, the scrumptious scones and the tasty milkshakes that she made. I can still taste it to this day. Why she never opened a café was beyond me and it still is beyond me because she was that good of a cook.

Then it was time for everyone to get ready for the golden anniversary party. Everyone thought I looked smart in the suit I brought over. I was glad because it was my very smartest one. Jonathan looked very smart in his suit too. I remember how divine Lola looked in her beautiful sleeveless orange dress and orange shoes. Francine and Lola's sisters all wore different types of dresses and they all looked beautiful in it.

Very soon we went to a big hotel where Lola's grandparents' golden wedding anniversary party was taking place. It was very close to Sandusky Bay. There I met the rest of Lola's family, including all her cousins, her uncles, her aunts, the guests of honor, her grandparents, and some of their very best friends. Like I did with Lola's parents and sisters, I did my best to get along on with the rest of the Lynch family. They asked questions about me and I ask questions about them in return. They were all very rich people and I felt the odd one out as I was the one who was the most working class, but they didn't treat me like that. They treated me with respect and I respected them in return.

After saying hello to everyone and getting to know about each other, it was time for the special lunch. For starters, we could have had garlic bread or a ceaser salad. I had the garlic bread which was very delicious. Then for the main course, there were the options of having either roasted chicken, pork ribs, beef wellington or vegetable lasagne. I had the pork ribs, which were delicious. Then for the desert, there was the golden anniversary cake and there was a slice for everyone. A lot of the adults had wine or champagne. I was one of the few adults that didn't have alcohol because I didn't have the stomach to drink alcohol, so I had a cup of herbal tea and I toasted Lola's grandparents' successful marriage with it.

Then it was time for the speeches. Lola's grandparents told everyone about who they were before they met each other, how they started at humble beginnings and work their way up to the top in their professional career, how they found each other and fell in love with each other, got married, had four wonderful children and had wonderful grandchildren and everything they had in their wonderful lives. Then their children, including Lola's mother, did their speeches about how much they love their parents and how grateful they were for all they did for them, including raising them to be who they were now.

Then it was time to dance. After dancing with Lola, she decided that she needed some fresh air and quiet time and she invited me to come with her so I did. She took me to Sandusky Bay. As we sat down and looked at it with all the boats on it, whether they be sailing or stationary, Lola told me that she would come here when she needed alone time to relax after her busy lives at school and at family. This is what she developed a very early interest in marine biology and this made her want to be a marine biologist.

It was very late at night when I and Lola's family decided to go back to Lola's house. We all said goodbye to everyone. And Lola's grandparents themselves thanked me for coming to their special party and thanked me for looking after their granddaughter Lola in college. "No problem," I told them before I joined Lola and her family back into their car.

"You were just wonderful today, Max," Lola said, as she entered her bedroom. She was wearing her dressing gown.

I was already in my airbed. "Thanks, Lola. And you were great too. I can see that you're a great granddaughter."

"Thanks." Then she took her gown off and revealed her her sexy white sleeveless dress. "And thanks once again for coming with me today."

"No problem, baby," I said. "And thank you for inviting me. It was a pleasure seeing your family today."

"You're welcome, Max," Lola said. "Well, goodnight."

"Goodnight, Lola," I said, before I went to sleep.

The next day, which was Sunday, we were all tired from yesterday's happy and successful celebration. We didn't get up and have breakfast until ten o'clock. It was the same breakfast as yesterday, but it was still just as delicious. Lola and I managed to pack our stuff and catch our afternoon train back to the college on time.

At the train station, Lola hugged and said goodbye to her family. Then it was my turn to say goodbye to them. Francine hugged me, thanked me for coming to the golden anniversary yesterday and for taking care of Lola in college and asked me to keep up the good work. Lola's sister didn't hug me, but they either shook my hands or high-fived me. Then Jonathan shook my hand, thanked me for coming to the golden anniversary yesterday and for looking after Lola in college and told me to keep up the good work. He went on to tell me that out of all the boyfriends Lola introduced to him, I was his favorite. All the others she dated were either very dumb or too full of themselves. But then he warned me that if I did anything wrong to her, I would have to answer to him. I promised him that I would never hurt Lola.

Then it was time for Lola and I to get on the train when it arrived. We said goodbye to her family once more, boarded it, found some seats and then we waved to her family as the train rode away back to Spoonerville College.
