Hello friend and welcome to Avatar: Immortal Dragon.

This story seemed to really have popped off. Forgot to mention it in the first chapter, but I made a tiny little change to someone's family tree in this story.

Now Just a quick Review responded and we can go to the story.

girani4: Of course your still kicking, legends never die. And admit it, you can't resit a story of mine.

Scatman SSJohn EX: Holy crap, your right. That would be something he would do, but he already had a pretty epic one (He will explain it later down the story).

And now story time.

During the early hours of the morning, Korra and Mako where stepped out of an elevator and walked down the hallway of a pretty nice apartment complex.

"You sure this is the place?" Mako said a bit surprised.

"It matches the address he gave me." Korra said as, "Yes, see?", she rang the doorbell of apartment 626.

It was a few seconds later, that footsteps were heard on the other side before the sound of locks and bolts where removed and the door opened to reveal a tall muscular young man wearing nothing but a pair of briefs. He was perhaps a few years older than Mako, his raven black hair was messy from sleeping.

He rubbed his gray blue eyes as he surprised a yawn, "Avatar Korra? I wasn't expecting a visit so early in the morning." he said surprised, "Who is your friend?"

"Hey Ichiro. This is Mako, my friend." Korra said a bit embarrassed, "I uhm... I need your help."

"Obviously. Why else would you be here?" Ichiro said as he stepped aside to let the two into the luxury apartment, "Just make yourselves at home, I'll put some tea and I'll go put something on."

"That's a shame... I mean, sure! We will!" Korra corrected herself quickly as she watched him walk through a adjacent door and closed it behind him.

"How do you know this Ichiro guy?" Mako said as the two sat down on the soft sofa in the rather spacious living room.

"He's a detective I met on my first day in Republic City." Korra said, "He helped me out of a pickle with Chief grumpypants."

A suppressed laugh was heard, it seemed Ichiro had rejoined them. "Yeah, my boss can be pretty grumpy." he said with a laugh, now wearing a simple shirt and slacks, "So tell me, what's the problem this early in the morning?"

They explained what happened, how they had been looking for Bolin, Mako's younger brother, who had left with Shady Shin, how other criminal gangs are preparing for a turf war. How they went to the Threat Triad's headquarters, but upon arriving, they notice the building mysteriously deserted and the furniture broken.

Out in the back they had spotten a group of masked individuals carrying off several triad members in a truck with Bolin in tow. How they had chased them, but were stopped when two thugs block their chi, leaving them motionless on the ground. How the mystery man had saved them by... putting an end to them.

"Turf war? Well that's great." Ichiro said dryly as he put on a pot of tea and some biscuits on a tray on the table, "Though on the plus side, the Terra Triads won't be involved."

"What?" Mako said surprised, "Why?"

"The news hasn't broken yet? That's a first." Ichiro said dryly, "Their headquarter was raided last night, burned to the ground, none were left alive. I was there with the first response team... they found Qian Chu, the leader of the gang, burned to a crisp. Empty bottles of alcohol were laying in the ruins around his corps."

"He was set on fire with his own alcohol? That's horrible. I mean, he deserved it but still." Mako said slightly shocked, "What kind of psychopath would do something like that?"

"Genji Chirayus at your service." Genji said as he was seated at the bar of his own Club, where he had the honor of being questioned by the chief of Republic City police herself, "Say chief. Have we met somewhere before?"

"Yeah, five minutes ago and I'm asking the questions, bud." Lin said annoyed with her arms crossed, "What is your relationship with the victim's outside?"

"I have no idea who they are. All I know is that one of their motorcycles smashed my car. I did found out that they belong to a group called the Equalists." he said rather casually, lighting a cigarette, taking a puff, "But what I want to know is, what will your little organization do about this? Will you find the organization responsible? Will they be punished? Will this be a priority for you? Because it is for me." as he leaned back against the bar.

"It's a priority for you because the organization these people belonged to. The same people who are on their way to the morgue. Have wrecked your car?" Chief Lin said annoyed, seeing if she was correct. Becoming more irritated by the audacity of the man, "You got some balls on you pal."

"Why thank you! But really they are quite average." Genji said completely missing the point before frowning, "Are you sure we haven't met before? Did we had sex?"

Back at Ichiro's apartment, he was still discussing with Korra and Mako what happened as the tray of biscuits was now completely empty and he had to set a new pot of tea for his guests.

"Okay, I understand the situation." Ichiro said, "But why is this Bolin running around with the Triple Threat Triad?"

"Well, we..." Mako began sounding uncomfortable especially in front of a cop, a detective no less, "We used to do some work for them back in the day."

"What?" Korra said surprised, dismayed look on her face, "Are you some kind of criminal?"

"No!" Mako said defensively, "You don't know what you're talking about."

"It's alright, Mako." Ichiro said diplomatically, "Your a pro-bender now right?"

"Yes but..." Mako said, but he was interrupted.

"Then your not a criminal anymore, right?" Ichiro continued, "Whatever reason you had to run with criminals, it's in the past."

"I... Thank you." Mako said slightly taken aback, before turning to the matter at hand, "Bolin has been kidnapped by Equalist supporter's. We might have a clue where he could be but..."

The firebender removed a few leaflets from his inner pocket, before placing them on the coffee table.

Ichiro picked one up and began to examining it. "Witness the Revelation tonight, nine o' clock'. What's this 'Revelation'?" he said but they didn't know either. He bends over the leaflets on the table and grabs two of them, turning them over and putting them together, "There's four different images... It's a map."

He quickly stood up to fetch a map of Republic City, shifting four leaflets around on the table. The trio as they starts to compare them to the city map, moving the image over different areas.

"So how did you two come across this clue?" Ichiro asked.

"The first day I got into town, the same day I met you, I ran into an Equalist protester." Korra said, "We got a few from him."

After some time they found the right location. One of the leaflets has a red spot on its back, indicating the meeting place.

"Bingo." Mako said, "That must be where it's going down."

During the night, at a factory, barely visible in the nightly fog that hangs over it. A group of people walk toward the building, and Ichiro, Korra and Mako stay into the shadow of another building, eyeing them.

They put on their disguises, Mako puts on a hat to fit his disguise outfit, Korra puts on a flapper hat, tugging her ponytail underneath it and Ichiro pulled up a scarf to hide his face, before walking toward the other factory building.

A doorman in checking the invitation of a citizen, who is holding up the leaflet. Approving it, he moves aside to let the man in, and immediately turns his attention to the man that was waiting, who takes out his own leaflet and shows it.

As they approached, Korra moves closer and grabs hold of Ichiro's arm. "What are you doing?" he said.

"We'll attract less attention this way." Korra said hushed, enjoying the feeling of his strong arms.

"Good thinking." Ichiro whispered with an approving nod.

They arrived at the front and the doorman crossed his arm, "This is a private event. No one gets in without an invitation."

Ichiro takes a leaflet out of his pocket, showing it to the doorman, "Here you go."

The Doorman takes the leaflet and eyes it, "The Revelation is upon us, my brothers and sister." he said more friendly and moves out of the way.

As they stepped into the building, a well dressed man was watching from the distance.

They walk to the meeting place and look out over the gathered crowd, waiting before an empty, but lit podium at the other side of the large factory.

"I knew a lot of people hated benders." Mako said, "But I've never seen so many in one place."

"Let's keep an eye out for your brother." Ichiro said.

"Please welcome your hero." an announcer said as a spot light pours out over a open hatch in the middle, "Your savior... Amon!"

Amon emerges from a trapdoor in the stage with a line of Equalists behind him under loud approving cheers of the crowd. A spotlight is turned on, illuminating the Equalist leader.

The masked man walks up to the microphone, the people still cheering loudly for him. "My quest for equality began many years ago." he said taking the microphone out of his stander, "When I was a boy, my family and I lived on a small farm. We weren't rich, and none of us were benders. This made us very easy targets for the firebender who extorted my father."

"One day, my father confronted this man, but when he did, that firebender took my family from me. Then, he took my face. I've been forced to hide behind a mask ever since."

Ichiro, Korra and Mako exchange a glance. "As you know, the Avatar has recently arrived in Republic City and if she were here, she would tell you that bending brings balance to the world. But, she is wrong. The only thing bending has brought to the world, is suffering."

Amon repeatedly points into the audience, "It has been the cause of every war in every era. But that is about to change. I know you have been wondering, 'What is the Revelation'? You are about to get your answer." Amon said, "Since the beginning of time, the spirits have acted as guardians of our world, and they have spoken to me. They say the Avatar has failed humanity. That is why the spirits have chosen me to usher in a new era of balance. They have granted me a power that will make Equality a reality. The power to take a person's bending away. Permanently."

The audience gasps. Korra's eyes widening in horror. "That's impossible." she said, "There's no way."

An Equalist guard leads the tied up man onto the stage, Equalist guards lead four more tied up benders onto the stage, forcing them to their knees, Bolin being the last of them, who is anxiously looking around with a scared expression.

Korra determinedly starts walking to the front, but is pulled back by Ichiro. "We need to do this smart. It's three of us versus all of them." he said pointing upwards, "See those machines? They're powered by water and steam. If you create some cover, we can grab Bolin without anyone seeing. Then, we can get the hell out of here."

"Works for me." Korra said.

"Zolt has amassed a fortune by extorting and abusing nonbenders." Amon continued, "But his reign of terror is about to come to an end. Now, in the interest of fairness, I will give Zolt the chance to fight to keep his bending."

One of the Lieutenant takes off the rope binding Lightning Bolt Zolt.

Amon moves away from Zolt and the Equalist guard pushes Zolt in the opposite direction Amon took to bring some space between the two fighters.

"You're gonna regret doing that, pal." Zolt said arrogantly.

Lightning Bolt Zolt immediately directs a fire blast at Amon, who nimbly dodges every blast that Zolt throws at him, gradually coming closer. Amon dodging the rounds of fire blasts, Zolt who surges forward while generating lightning. He fires the bolt at the Equalist leader who ducks underneath it, grabs hold of Zolt's wrist, and twists it around and away from him.

The lighting crashes into the stage, before hitting the ceiling as Amon turns his hands further away. His neck is being grabbed by Amon's hand, lightning still shooting out of Zolt's fingers, as Amon moves his hand from Zolt's wrist to his forehead.

Amon places his thumb in the center; Zolt's face is contorted in fear. The crackling lightning changes into a large fire blast, and stops entirely.

He lets go of Zolt, who collapses weakly onto the ground as Amon takes a few steps back and Zolt attempts to firebend at Amon to no avail; he crashed back to the ground before the feet of the Equalist leader.

The crowd gasps.

"What..." Zolt said saddened and shocked while looking at Amon, "What did you do to me?"

"Your firebending is gone. Forever." Amon told in a commanding tone while looking down at Zolt, "The era of bending is over. A new era of Equality has begun!"

The crowd cheers madly as one of the Equalist guards releases the second captured bender, and kicks him forward to face Amon.

Korra runs through a hallway filled with machines. She stops and began to turn a big red wheel on the machine. With a grunt of effort from Korra, the wheel turns, releasing one small air leak.

"It's not enough." Korra whispered. She bends over and squats down, turning a small red wheel, causing another minor air leak.

"Hey, you!" a voice said.

Korra stands up to see the Doorman approach her, his size filling up the entire hallway, blocking any possible exit in that direction.

"Is there a problem, my brother?" Korra said, looking innocently, her voice slightly higher pitched than normal.

"What are you doing back here?" he said suspiciously.

"Looking for the bathroom?" Korra said cracking an innocent grin.

The doorman as he takes out a wrench. She nimbly ducks under his swing, and evades his next attack, coming up behind him. He turns around and aims an overhead swing at her, but Korra evades it again, making him hit the pipes.

Korra ducks underneath another violent swing of the doorman's wrench that hits the pipes instead, denting them.

Quiet suddenly, another wrench slammed against the Doorman's back knee, forcing him down before with another swing against his head, with a sickening crunch, he was knocked out. Korra looked up to see the well dressed man from last night, Genji standing there.

"Hello there." he said, throwing the wrench to break open the three pipes, steam pores out and fills the room.

A frightened Bolin watches as an Equalist guard moves toward him. As the Equalist start to fumble at his ropes, Bolin anxiously looks back, whimpering softly. Once he is free, he is pulled on his feet and thrown forward. He stumbles forward on the stage while the bender Amon just took care of slumps down in exhaustion.

Amon slowly turns around under loud cheering of the crowd as an explosion happened. Under loud screams of the crowds, steam starts to pour in to the meeting room, engulfing everything in its path, clouding everyone and everything.

Several civilians backing up from the incoming steam, turning around and making a break for it. Bolin who is looking around him, a focused look on his face. He slowly backs up, but is grabbed from behind by an Equalist, much to Bolin's shock.

Ichiro emerges out of the steam from behind the Equalist, grabs hold of him, and throws him away over his shoulder as Mako turns to his brother.

"Bolin, you all right?" Mako said.

"Yes!" Bolin said, clasping his hands in relief, before extending them for a hug, "Mako! I love you!"

As Bolin moves forward in an attempt to hug his brother, Mako seizes him around his neck and drags him off into the steam.

The factory backdoor was being flung open, scaring off several birds. Ichiro emerge with the two brothers following behind him.

"This way." Ichiro said leading them over the balcony to a ladder.

As they descend the ladder to the ground floor, an Equalist fighter, the Lieutenant, twirling his kali sticks charged with electricity.

"Let go!" Ichiro said, when he sensed what was about to happen. The trio could just let go as the Lieutenant and slamming them into the ladder, sending an electricity charge through it.

The Lieutenant jumps down from the balcony, his kali stick charged. "I got this!" Ichiro said, "Get out of here!" and the two brothers did just that as the Lieutenant lands with a small thud.

"You benders need to understand." he said with a low dangerous breath, "There's no place in the world for you anymore."

"Wouldn't count them out just yet." Ichiro said and he immediately goes on the offensive. The Lieutenant meets him halfway, he attacks Ichiro with his kali sticks, electricity trailing behind them as he rapidly swings them around.

But as if he had a precognitive sense of danger or as if his body moved on it's own, he evades each strike of the Lieutenant's kali stick's. Ichiro flips over and uses his own momentum to kick down against the Lieutenant's head.

He does a similar evasive maneuver to avoid the second strike, back flipping and somersaulting over Lieutenant continues attack. Ichiro lands behind him, delivers several quick hits with his fists and lands a jab with in his stomach, flinging him back with a grunt of pain.

A pillar of rock shoots up beside the Lieutenant and thrusts him brutally against the building. He slams hard against the metal, his two kali sticks are knocked out of his hands, and he falls down onto the ground.

Ichiro looked over his shoulder to see Korra standing there in an earthbending pose along with a amber eyed man.

"Now that... Damn I had something for this." Genji said annoyed before looking at Ichiro with a frown, "You, handsome lad. Have we met before? Questions for later. I'll cause a distraction while we split up."

Genji rushed off in the opposite direction as Korra whistles on her fingers. Naga barks and immediately comes running from behind a building, jumping down the last of the ramp.

As more Equalist fighters storm the area from the balcony. "Who was that?" Ichiro said as he and Korra got up on Naga, "Friend of yours?"

"No, not really." Korra said as they began to ride out of there, "But I ran into him before."
