A/N: Val's absent from half of this one due to the storyline. This one's also shorter than most due to lack of action. I also have to admit, but I consider the Dekaranger version of this one a lot sadder, due to what Hoji had to do in the end.

Please read and review?

Shoutout:

Unknown: By the term 'parents' it must be all of them, and it's confirmed on the wiki site. As for your idea, I'm not really sure about that yet, but I will think it over for now.

In the Command Room of the Delta Base, Jack yawned while sitting in Cruger's chair, resting his feet on the desk as he read a comic book. Syd hummed as she walked past him, sharpening her nails with a nail file.

"Will all base squadrons proceed to sector 5." a man instructed.

Syd passed by Sky and Val, who both sat by the center panel, Sky reading a book, while Val rested her head on it, while Bridge sat by a panel on the right, resting his head on his hand. The door opened and Z came in and approached the panel.

"Whoa, ho, ho. This place is jumping." Z said sarcastically.

"Tell me about it." Jack said.

Bridge fell asleep, before his head fell forward.

"Ah!" he yelped, waking up.

"Cruger goes off for two days to an important galaxy meeting, leaving me in charge, and nothing." Jack said, annoyed.

Bridge got up as the panel beeped.

"Uh, Jack?" he said.

"In a minute?" Jack said. "No aliens vaporizing stuff..."

Syd and Val both approached the panel Bridge was at.

"...no giant robots stepping on buildings..." Jack continued.

"Jack?" Syd said, turning around.

"In a minute?" Jack said, closing up his comic. "Not even someone's pet five-footed rolgarian sloth-eater getting stuck in a tree."

Sky approached the others and looked at the panel.

"Huh?" he muttered, looking at it.

"Nothing." Jack said.

"Jack!" the team said together, expect Z.

"What?" Jack said.

"A UFO just entered our airspace and is on a crash course with the center of town." Bridge explained, as Z approached the others.

Jack approached them all as Syd and Val moved aside, allowing him to see the screen, seeing the UFO shooting down towards Earth from outer space.

"Next time, Bridge, don't wait until the last minute to tell me." Jack said, as Bridge fastened up his jacket.

"Uh..." he muttered.

"We tried getting your attention but you ignored us!" Val complained. "You were too busy-"

"Val, save it for later?" Syd advised, touching her arm.

"Bien." Val said annoyed.

They all turned around, before Jack took out his morpher and held it up.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Ready!" the others said, doing the same.

"SPD Emergency!"

(Morph sequence)

The screen split into six, Sky in the top left, Jack in the top middle, Bridge in the top right, Syd in the bottom left, Z in the bottom middle, Val in the bottom right. They all pressed their morpher's buttons, shooting out the holograms on their suits, before they all back flipped away and morphed up. They all landed crouched down, before their helmets appeared on them, then they did their fight poses.

"Space Patrol Delta!"

(End morph sequence)

The tube covers rose up.

"Opening Zord bay tubes." Kat said.

Sky and Bridge grabbed and jumped down theirs.

"Ha!" they said.

"Ha!" Z said, jumping down hers.

Syd jumped down hers, followed by Val, then Jack jumped down his.

"Whoa!" Jack yelled, sliding down his. "Wahoo!"

He entered his Delta Runner, followed by Z, Bridge, Val, and then Syd.

"I'm in." she said.

Sky entered his, then put his morpher in its place.

"Ignition mode." he said. "Let's roll."

Delta Runner 1 raced off down a tunnel, followed by Delta Runners 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, as their sirens wailed. They then all raced out of the base - Delta Runner 2 spreading its gyro wings out as it flew off.

They all raced though the city, their scanners showing the UFO's impact.

"Only seconds 'til impact!" Syd exclaimed.

"There's no time to bring it down!" Bridge said.

"Oh, no!" Jack gasped.

The UFO crashed in the city, as Sky watched from his Delta Runner.

"Better use the Megazord." he said, fiddling with buttons.

The screen split into five, Val in the top left, Syd in the top right, Z in the bottom left, Bridge in the bottom right, and Jack in the middle.

"Let's do it!" they said, saluting.

Once the Delta Squad Megazord was formed, it stood over the crash site as fires burned around it. It held up its Delta Blaster, before it aimed it at the rubble.

"Water cannon!" Bridge said, pressing a button.

The Delta Squad Megazord shot water from the Delta Blaster's blue light, which put out the fire around the UFO.

"I'm picking up signs of life." Sky said.

Val looked at her scanners as she pressed buttons, picking up a heat-signature.

"Confirmed. There's someone alive in there." she explained.

The Delta Squad Megazord lit up Delta Runner 4's beams, then aimed it down at the wreckage like a flashlight. It looked around, spotting the letters 'SPD' on part of it, as a male figure in a white outfit with black body armor and a helmet pushed some rubble back.

"Ah!" he grunted.

"The ship, it's SPD?" Z said.

The man looked around at his ship as he stood up.

"I'll check it out." Sky said, unstrapping himself.

He jumped out of his cockpit and dived down to the ground.

"Yah!" he yelled, before he landed crouched down. "Hey?"

He got up and ran towards the man.

"Boy, I am glad to see you guys." he said, taking his armor off. "Sorry for causing all this damage."

Sky looked around the rubble as the others came up behind him.

"I was chasing a criminal and lost control." the man explained, sitting down.

"At least you're alright." Syd said.

The man took off his helmet, showing he was a Humanoid alien called Dru Harrington, who had four spots over each eyebrow, before he scratched his head.

"Yeah. Just a little shaken." he said.

"Dru?" Sky muttered, shocked.

Dru turned to him, wondering how he knew his name.

"Power down." Sky said, crossing his forearms over, de-morphing.

"Sky?" Dru said.

He got up and hugged Sky like a brother, before they pulled apart.

"Oh, man." Sky said.

They linked their hands together, before they banged bracelets on their wrists together, which had 'SPD' on them.

Later, at the Delta Base, the Rangers and Dru all approached the Common Room, Sky telling the others about his and Dru's history.

"Dru and I started out at the academy, years ago." Sky explained, as all but Bridge entered the room. "We were best friends."

Dru stopped and turned to Sky as Bridge entered.

"Hey, more like brothers." he said, pointing at Sky. "Then, about three years ago, I was assigned to the Nebula academy to complete my training."

He turned to the others as Sky nodded, Syd folding her arms while Z looked fascinated, while Val smiled.

"So, is this guy still wild and whacky?" Dru asked, as Bridge walked past Sky towards the back of the room.

The girls giggled as Sky turned away, blushing with embarrassment.

"Wild and whacky?" Z questioned. "Those aren't exactly the first words that come to mind."

"Yeah. We've never seen him wild." Val recalled.

"Don't listen to them." Sky said, touching Dru's arm as they walked off. "So, what happened to you? Last I heard, you were missing in action over a year ago?"

The girls followed them as Jack watched, while Bridge sat down in a chair and began playing a space game on the TV.

"I thought you were-" Sky began.

Dru turned to him and touched his arms.

"Well, I'm not." he said, lowering his arms.

"Whatever happened, you look great." Syd said.

Sky smiled and folded his arms, as he and Dru turned to them.

"Thanks, though I do feel lucky to be alive." Dru said.

"How'd you wind up in the city in that crashed ship?" Val asked.

"I was in pursuit of an intergalactic criminal named Zantor. His ship broke up while entering Earth's atmosphere, and some debris brought me down." Dru explained.

"Had to be something like that to bring this top gun down." Sky said. "I'm just glad you're alive."

He and Dru banged their bracelets together.

"Yeah." Dru said.

The girls smiled as they both sat down on a couch, before walking off.

"What's up with the bracelets?" Jack asked, approaching them.

"These. These are Tangarian Coils. On my home planet of Tangar, it's tradition to share a coil with your closet friend, to always feel that connection no matter where you are in the galaxy." Dru explained, as Sky looked at his.

The girls turned to each other.

"They're bracelets." Jack said.

The girls giggled.

"I guess you don't have a best friend." Dru said, as Sky turned to him.

Z blinked as she turned away slightly, while Jack opened his mouth.

"Alright, I can see this conversation is deteriorating." Sky said, as he and Dru got up and walked past the others. "I'm gonna show Dru to his room."

"And I'm going to the range." Jack said.

Sky and Dru both stopped and turned to him as he approached them, while the girls approached the couch and sat down on it.

"I didn't get my shooting practice because someone crashed their ship." Jack said, walking past them.

"Speaking of Dru, he's so cute." Z said.

Dru and Sky turned to Jack as the girls started talking.

"Weird friendship they have there." Val said.

"I know. You know if Sky's got..." Syd began.

Once at the range, Sky stood behind a panel desk, while Dru stood nearby, as Jack stood ahead of them, holding his blaster, while they all wore sunglasses goggles. Three ball targets floated around ahead of Jack, before he fired his blaster and hit the first, destroying it. He then turned slightly and fired again, destroying the second, then fired again, destroying the third.

Dru walked towards Jack as the word 'Prefect' came up via a hologram behind the desk. It vanished as Dru stopped beside Jack, then they all took their goggles off.

"Nice." Dru admitted.

"Nice? I hit every target." Jack explained.

"Yeah, but you took three shots." Dru said.

"There are three targets." Jack reasoned.

"Yeah, I know." Dru assured, turning to him.

"Dru, you ready?" Sky asked.

"Yeah. I mean, I haven't shot in a while, but let's give it a go." Dru said. "Can I use your blaster, Jack?"

"Yeah. Yeah, let me reload it?" Jack asked. "It only has one shot left."

He turned around and walked off slightly.

"It's all I need." Dru assured.

He put his goggles on as Jack stopped, before he turned around and approached him.

"Suit yourself." Jack said.

Dru turned and took the blaster from him, as Sky put his goggles on. Dru stretched his arms out before holding Jack's blaster up, as Jack turned and put his goggles on.

"Ready." Dru said.

Sky started up the simulation, then Dru dived to his right and rolled over, before he fired the blaster, hitting all three targets with the single shot.

Jack took his goggles off in shock and amazement.

"Amazing." he said.

Sky took his goggles off as the word 'Exceptional!' popped up on the desk, smiling, before the word vanished.

"Yeah." Dru said, getting up, taking his goggles off. "But I was a little slow."

"Slow?" Jack questioned, as Sky approached them.

Dru handed Jack his blaster as Sky stopped on his left.

"Dru was number 1 at the academy." Sky explained. "He holds all the records."

He and Dru banged their bracelets together, then Dru patted Jack's shoulder before he and Sky turned and walked off.

"Prefect." Jack said sarcastically.

Sky turned to him slightly near the doorway, as Dru left the room.

At around 4 in the morning, Jack sat in Cruger's chair behind the desk, going over some papers in a binder, when he heard a noise and saw a monstrous hand shadow in the little bit of light in the room.

"Whoa!" he yelped.

He turned around the chair around, seeing Dru standing in front of him.

"You scared me." Jack said. "What are you doing here anyway?"

"Couldn't sleep." Dru said. "I thought I'd wander down and see if Commander Cruger was around."

"At 4am?" Jack questioned.

Dru didn't answer him.

"Whatever. Commander Cruger's away at a conference. He'll be back later on this morning." Jack explained, closing the binder and putting it on the desk.

"I'll let you get back to work then." Dru said.

He turned around and began to walk off.

"Dru?" Jack said.

Dru stopped by the center panel as Jack got out of the chair and approached him.

"Sky mentioned you were missing in action." Jack recalled, folding his arms as he approached Dru. "Curious. Where were you?"

"Not much of a story really." Dru said, turning around. "Truth is, I don't remember."

"A whole year and you can't remember?" Jack inquired.

Dru folded his arms, just as Sky showed up in the doorway, cleaning his blaster.

"When they found me, I had amnesia." Dru said, as Sky entered the room.

"Hey, guys." he said, rubbing his blaster with his sleeve. "What's going on?"

"Nothing, I was just-" Jack began.

"Interrogating me." Dru finished, making Sky look up.

"He was wandering around the Command... I don't have to answer to you." Jack said. "Sky, take him back to his quarters. The Command Center's off-limits to all unauthorized personal."

"Dru's SPD." Sky said.

"He was SPD." Jack corrected, as Sky approached Dru's left. "He's been missing in action and has to be revaluated."

Sky looked between them both, before turning to Jack.

"Yes, sir." he said, saluting with two fingers.

He patted Dru's arm as they both turned and walked off, leaving Jack alone, for he felt something off about Dru.

"So what's up with that guy?" Dru asked, as he and Sky turned left down a hallway. "How can you stand to be around him?"

"I can't." Sky admitted honestly, as he was still a bit bitter about Jack being made the Red Ranger.

Dru patted Sky's chest, making him stop and turn to him.

"Okay, what's up with you?" he asked. "I've known you long enough to know there's something troubling you."

"I haven't slept." Sky explained, before they walked off. "I ran a check on that Zantor you were chasing. Sky-pole has records of him being arrested and serving jail time in the Neptune province."

"Did you ever think he might have escaped?" Dru asked.

"I checked it out, he's still there." Sky explained, as they stopped and turned to each other. "Something's not right. What's going on, Dru?"

"I knew there was no getting my arrival past you." Dru said. "You are still the best. Think about it, Sky. I'm SPD on a top secret mission."

He walked past Sky towards a nearby door, before they both turned to each other. They turned and saw no one else in the hallway, before they turned to each other.

"I've already said too much. It'll have to do." Dru said, before the door opened up. "Goodnight, old friend."

He turned and walked into the room as Sky watched, before he turned an walked off as the door closed.

In the room, Dru smirked and laughed as he heard Sky's footprints, before he gasped. He raised his arms up as his body shook, then he transformed into a navy-blue alien called Giganis, who had sliver and gold devices on his torso, back and forearms, a triangular shaped head with spikes on either side, and one toe on each boot. He laughed evilly as he looked around, for he had his true plan to carry out later.

Later, at sunrise, the Rangers - expect Jack were all in the Common Room with other Cadets, all eating breakfast around the counter table. Also in the room were other Cadets sitting around and talking, with a few watching a Motocross race on TV.

"So, in this dream, right, I'm running away from this horrible alien, and I can't move. My feet are like stuck to the ground." Bridge said. "And then, the monster tears out it's outer skin, and it's me inside. What do you think?"

Syd and Val both turned slightly to think as Jack entered the room.

"It's simple; you were looking at your inner monster." Syd said, opening up a yoghurt, as Z walked off slightly, while Jack came over.

"But not the thing you're dread becoming." Val joked.

"Maybe you're just weird." Z said, her mouth full as she stopped behind Bridge.

"Hey, Sky." Jack said.

Sky looked up at him as Z walked off.

"I, uh...I've been thinking about it...and I owe you an apology." Jack said.

"I don't wanna hear it. Stay out of my business? You don't understand friendships." Sky said. "You don't understand SPD. Dru, he's no concern of yours. So do us both a favor; leave us alone?"

He put his fork down and got up, when the alarm went off.

"Breach in the engine room." Kat reported.

(Kat's lab)

Kat sat by her computer, seeing Giganis on it, who threw a Cadet in navy aside into some boxes.

"Alien intruder." she reported.

(Common Room)

Everyone began to run off.

"Let's get outta here! Come on." a male Cadet said.

Bridge turned back to the counter and grabbed his yoghurt.

"Come on." a girl said.

"Let's roll." a man said. "Come on."

Once the engine room, the Rangers - now morphed - all stood in a hallway, as Giganis walked down it through some stream from broken pipes.

"Outta my way, Rangers!" he roared. "I have work to do."

The Rangers got ready to fight.

"I said move!" Giganis roared.

He shot lighting from his chest devices, which hit them all, making sparks come out of them.

"Whoa!" they yelped.

They all hit the floor, Z on her side, Sky and Syd on their chests, the rest on their backs. They looked up at Giganis, who laughed, then they got up and brought out their weapons.

"Come on, guys." Jack said, holding his blasters up.

The others all held up their blades, before they all charged forward.

"Yah!" they yelled.

Giganis blocked a whack from Jack with his arm, before he punched his chest, knocking him aside. He then dodged a slash from Sky, before he tried to punch him.

"Whoa!" sky yelped, rolling forward, making him miss.

Giganis came at Bridge and the girls as he spun around.

"Whoa!" Syd yelped.

"Ah!" Val gasped.

Giganis spun around and whacked Bridge with his arm, knocking him into a wall.

"Ah!" he moaned.

Giganis hit Syd and Z in their chests with his hands.

"AH!" they moaned.

They both turned and fell onto their chests.

Val moved and tried to stab Giganis with her blade, but missed as he dodged, then he punched her belly, knocking her down onto her back.

"Oh!" she moaned.

She looked up as Bridge got to his knees and clutched his chest, as Syd and Z turned around.

"Hey, ugly!" Sky said.

Giganis turned around as Sky moved to slash him with his blade, but missed as he dodged. Sky sent a kick at him, but he blocked it with his hands, then he slashed Sky's chest, then hit him with his arm.

"Whoa!" Sky yelped, flipping onto his back.

Giganis stomped on his chest, but then looked up as Jack dived towards him.

"Yah!" he yelled, firing his blasters.

The blasts hit Giganis' chest, knocking him back off Sky.

"OH!" he moaned.

Sky rolled away and got up, as Jack landed near him, then Giganis ducked as Jack tried to whack him with his arm. He then slashed Jack twice with his arms, knocking him into a wall, then he blocked Sky's blade with his hand, before he spun around and whacked Sky's back, knocking him away.

"Ah!" Sky moaned.

Giganis turned and grabbed Jack by the shoulders, before throwing him towards some pipes.

"OH!" Jack yelled.

He hit the pipes and split them open, before he hit the floor near the others.

"OH!" he moaned, rolling onto his chest.

The others got up and ran towards him.

"Jack!" Syd cried.

"You okay?" Bridge asked, as he and Val helped him up.

"Yeah." Jack replied.

Sky ran off and looked around, seeing no sign of Giganis.

"Where'd he go?" he questioned, resting his blade in his hand.

"I bet I know." Jack said. "Come on!"

He turned around and ran off as the others - expect Sky - turned to him.

"Huh?" they muttered.

Sky turned around to them all, thinking hard, before he turned back.

"Jack, wait?" Sky called, as he chased after them.

A little later, Sky ran down a hallway with his blaster, heading for Dru's room. Once he got there, he turned just as Jack came out.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Jack yelped, holding his hands up. "He's not in his room."

"That doesn't prove anything." Sky said, putting his blaster away.

"Sky, I know he's your friend and all, but don't be blind? Dru lied to us, to you. He's a monster." Jack explained.

Sky didn't look at him, not wanting to believe it.

"Commander Cruger has returned to SPD." Kat reported.

Both men turned to each other, before Jack walked off, while Sky thought hard about what Jack suspected.

At the base's docking bay, which resembled a train station, a high-tech spaceship that resembled a monorail car began to dock and land, as dozens of Cadets ran towards it. The monorail car landed on the track, as the Cadets formed two columns on either side of each other, with the Rangers forming a line at the end of both columns. (Val was between Jack and Bridge)

(Elsewhere)

Giganis stood in a dark hallway.

"The prey is landing." he said, as he'd been hired to assassinate someone.

He laughed as his right hand turned into a laser cannon, then he turned and walked off down the hallway.

(Docking bay)

Cruger got out of the monorail car and began walking down the gap between the columns of the Cadets, who all saluted - one of which resembled Arachnor.

"There's been a security breach." he said, approaching the Rangers. "How did this happen?"

The Rangers turned and followed him towards a bunch of escalators.

"Sir, there are a lot of ways something like this could've happened." Jack reasoned, as the other Cadets ran off.

"Like an air-vent or..." Z began, as they got onto the escalators.

"Or a stowaway." Syd said.

"Or a disguise device." Val said.

"Or a collective dream." Bridge said.

Everyone but Cruger turned to him, Val being on the same escalator as him and Syd.

"Hmm? What, it could happen." Bridge reasoned.

"Sir, I'm responsible." Sky admitted, getting everyone's attention. "It's my fault. I let Cadet Dru Harrington into the academy. I thought I knew him. I didn't."

"Cadet Tate, this is a very serious violation." Cruger said, as they reached the top. "We'll deal with this later."

They all walked off the escalators.

"Lucky for you there's no apparent harm done." Cruger said.

A laser blast shot off from far away, which suddenly hit him right in the chest, knocking him past the Rangers.

"AH!" he moaned.

The Rangers turned to him as he hit the floor on his back. Jack and Sky took out their blasters as the others crouched around him in horror.

"Commander Cruger?" Syd cried.

"Comandante, ¿hable con nosotros?" Val cried, as Jack and Sky crouched near the rest, looking for where the blast came from.

"Commander? Commander?!" Jack said.

"He's hardly breathing!" Z said frantically.

"We've gotta get him to an infirmary, fast." Bridge said.

"Just where'd that blast come from?" Val cried.

Jack spotted Giganis on top of a set of stairs.

"Over there!" he said.

Giganis turned around and ran off, as Sky got up and growled, as he started to chase him.

Giganis kept on running down the hallway, when Sky got in front of him, making him stop.

"Hold it right there!" he said, before they started to circle each other. "Your next move could be your last, so I'd be careful what you do. Now drop your weapon!"

They both stopped as Giganis lowered his blaster, then turned back into Dru, who smirked, while Sky looked shocked.

"Dru? What was that?" he asked.

"My true Tangarian body." Dru answered. "Beautiful, isn't it? Even best friends have secrets."

"Why Cruger?" Sky demanded.

"Simple; the money." Dru answered, as they started circling each other again. "Grow up, Sky! You think being a Ranger is everything."

"We both did!" Sky recalled.

"I was young and naïve, 'til I met Broodwing." Dru explained.

"Broodwing?" Sky muttered, lowering his blaster.

"He showed me the light. All I have to do is take a few orders, just like the academy." Dru said, as they stopped.

"Dru, you're talking crazy." Sky said. "We can get help."

"I don't need help! I don't need you!" Dru snapped, pointing at him coldly. "I don't need anyone anymore!"

He turned right and walked towards a double-shaped door by the nearby windows.

"Stop, Dru, I have to bring you in." Sky said regretfully. "Dru, stop! You're under SPD arrest!"

Dru laughed as he stopped by the door.

"You are such a fool!" he laughed.

He turned around and quickly brought out a blaster, which he shot at Sky. Sky gasped, unprepared for that, before it hit his right wrist, snapping his bracelet in two.

"AHH!" he moaned, as he got knocked off his feet.

He twirled around as his bracelet pieces flew up, before he hit the floor on his side.

"Uh!" he moaned. "Ah!"

He clutched his wrist as the bracelet pieces hit the floor. Dru approached him as he reached for his blaster, but Dru kicked it away, then crouched down in front of him.

"I'll spare you this time." he said, before putting his blaster in his other hand, then picked up half the bracelet. "Next time, only one of us will walk away."

He blew on the piece and threw it at Sky, before he got up and turned around, then walked towards the door.

Sky clutched his wrist as he looked at Dru, not believing his best friend had turned traitor as he sat up, then he picked up the bracelet piece.

Later, in the base's infirmary, Cruger lay on a bed, with Kat and the other Rangers around him, as a life-support system showed his brain readings. (Val was on Syd's left)

"Is he gonna make it?" Z asked.

"If he were Human, he'd already be gone." Kat sighed, holding a tube. "This old dog is tough. There's no telling..."

Cruger moaned as he opened his eyes.

"Who are you calling an old dog?" he asked weakly.

Kat smiled as all but she and Bridge laughed, Jack and Syd hugging each other from the side.

At the docking bay, Dru walked down a walkway, passing several pillars, before Broodwing came out from behind one.

"You failed me!" he scowled, making Dru turn to him.

"No. No, I cancelled Cruger." Dru assured.

"Then why does his Sirian lifeforce still remain?" Broodwing inquired. "Do the job you are paid for or else!"

He whacked Dru's arm as he walked off, who turned to him, shocked to discover Cruger had survived.

In the Command Room, the Rangers - expect Sky - all stood by one of the right panels, which showed a map of the base, before a blip showed up on it.

"I found him." Bridge said, pointing at it. "Dru slash evil-ugly-monster-dude, is somewhere between sector 7-"

Sky came in and approached them all, his right hand bandaged up.

"I know exactly where he is." he said, folding his arms as he stopped on Syd's right.

Everyone turned to him.

"Jack, I need to talk to you, alone?" Sky said.

They all turned to Jack, before they all turned and walked off, leaving them both alone.

"Me pregunto que quiere?" Val muttered.

The door opened and they walked out, leaving Jack and Sky alone.

"Look, Dru was my friend. I brought him in here. Let me bring him in?" Sky asked quietly.

"I can't do that, Sky." Jack said, making Sky lower his arms and sigh. "That's against regulations."

He looked at Sky.

"But, by the time I get everybody together, Syd does her nails, etc, etc... You may have a ten minute head start on us, perfectly within academy regulations." he said.

"Thanks." Sky said quietly.

He turned around and walked off as the door opened, then he ran off out of the room and turned left down the hallway.

Jack sighed, hoping Sky knew what he was doing.

Later, Sky pushed some double doors open, then entered a dark room, which was filled with tables and chairs. He walked off and looked around for Dru, seeing a stage and an old film projector, as it was a screening room.

"Dru!" he called, turning around.

He turned around and approached the viewing screen at the back of the room.

"Dru, I know you're in here." he said, turning around.

The projector came on, making him raise his left arm up over his face due to the light, when Dru came over and stood in front of it.

"Ever the Ranger." he said, turning to Sky.

"My friends will be here in a few minutes." Sky explained. "Turn yourself in? Let me help you?"

"Perhaps I shouldn't have been so lenient with you." Dru retorted.

"Probably not." Sky agreed.

"You really think you can beat me?" Dru inquired.

Sky stared at him, as he spread his arms out and transformed into Giganis.

"Ah." he said.

He laughed, his right arm in blaster mode, as Sky held up his morpher.

"SPD Emergency!"

He pressed the button on it and morphed up.

"When the projector runs out of film, we do this." Giganis said, as Sky put his morpher away.

Sky took out his blade and knuckle, then combined them into his Deltamax Striker.

"If that's the way it has to be." he said, holding it up.

He lowered his arm while staring at his former friend, like in a western standoff. They kept their eyes on each other as the film rolled, Giganis sniggering as he did, when the projector ran out of film. Giganis and Sky both spun around 360 degrees while raising their right arms up, then fired at each other. They both stared at each other, not knowing who'd been quicker, before lighting came out of Giganis' body.

"Oh! Ah!" he moaned.

He fell to his knees as Sky held up his blaster.

"Impossible? How could you beat me?" Giganis demanded, clutching his chest.

"You don't make the same mistake twice." Sky said, as he was prepared this time, unlike the last time Dru fired on him. "I learned that from a good Cadet a few years ago. You might remember him; it was you."

He put his blaster in his other hand, while holding his right up.

"Ah!" Giganis moaned.

"I'm a Power Ranger first, always." Sky said.

"You fool!" Giganis scowled, getting up, lighting and sparks coming from his body. "All you have is pride! What good is that when you had no money, no power! You had nothing! Nothing!"

He brought out a canister shaped device, which he then twisted.

"But I had more, so much more!" he declared, as he began to grow.

He smashed a hole through the ceiling as he grew giant, his bracelet falling off as he did, which hit the floor.

Sky looked up at him as the others all arrived.

"Watch out!" Syd said.

"Whoa!" Sky yelped, backing away.

"¿Qué en el...?" Val gasped.

"Whoa!" Bridge yelped.

"Look out?" Jack said, raising his left arm up. "Look out?"

"Ah!" Z gasped.

"Hope we're not too late?" Jack asked Sky.

"Nope, just in time." Sky assured, taking out his morpher. "Delta Runners!"

The left side of the Delta Base opened up, then Delta Runner 1 came out of it, followed by Delta Runner 2, which spread its gyro wings and flew off, then the others came out and raced off.

Once near the scene, the Rangers all jumped into them.

The screen split into six, from left to right, Sky, Z, Jack, Val, Syd and Bridge.

"Delta Squad Megazord!" they shouted.

Delta Runner 1 attached Delta Runners 4 and 5 to its big wheels with its claws. Delta Runner 6 split in half while in the air, then both halves attached themselves to the top of Delta Runners 4 and 5.

Delta Runner 2 - on the ground with its front wheel and right wing retracted in - lifted its body up so its cockpit was on the ground, while Delta Runner 3 lifted its back up, leaving the front of it alone. Delta Runner 1 - its front wheels rotated out - lowered itself down onto Delta Runners 2 and 3, then its back rotated down, showing the head, forming the Delta Squad Megazord.

"I'll destroy you all!" Giganis declared, lowering his arms.

The Delta Squad Megazord got ready to fight before he charged at it, then he slashed its chest with his left hand, then he clawed at its chest twice, before ramming it with its head, knocking it back. He crossed his forearms over, then lowered them, shooting lighting from his chest devices, which hit it all over, making sparks come out all over it, before an explosion went off in front of it.

"AH!" Sky moaned, wobbling in his cockpit.

The Delta Squad Megazord stared at Giganis, who charged at it, then he tried to punch it, but it blocked it with its left arm, then it punched him twice, then once with both fists.

"AH!" he moaned, stumbling back.

"Stop!" Sky demanded.

Giganis moved to kick the Delta Squad Megazord, but it grabbed his right leg, then it began spinning around while holding him.

"Whoa!" Sky said.

The Delta Squad Megazord threw Giganis away, who hit the ground on his side.

"Oh!" he moaned, rolling onto his side, looking at the Delta Squad Megazord.

"I got him." Sky said.

The sirens wailed all over the Delta Squad Megazord, which aimed its Delta Blaster.

"Huh?" Giganis muttered, after getting up.

The Delta Squad Megazord fired its Delta Blaster several times, hitting Giganis, making sparks come out of him.

"AHH!" he moaned. "AHH!"

The Delta Squad Megazord stopped firing, before he fell onto his chest, then an explosion went off around him.

"It was the only way." Sky sighed, clutching his right fist.

The Delta Squad Megazord stood at ease as the sun began to rise.

On the ground, Giganis lay on his back in normal size, before he turned back into Dru.

"Oh!" he moaned.

He opened his eyes and turned, seeing the Rangers coming towards him - Sky unmorphed. He rolled onto his side as Sky approached him, taking out his morpher, as the others stood nearby and watched. (Val was on Syd's left)

Sky held up his morpher while touching his bandaged forearm.

"Old friend, you're under arrest." Sky said, holding it up in front of Dru.

Dru groaned and put his head down, knowing he failed and there was no way out. Sky approached him as his team watched, putting his morpher away as he did, before he crouched down near his former friend.

Later, on Grumm's ship, Grumm sat in his throne in his private chamber.

"We have suffered a defeat, but this will be a long battle." he vowed. "Yes. Anubis 'Doggie' Cruger-Cruger, is still alive. But like the fate that befell the SPD base on Sirius, I shall crush-crush puny, so called warriors, in the name of the magnificence."

He got up from his throne and held up in both hands.

"We shall not rest, we shall not show mercy!" he vowed, holding it above him. "We shall be victorious!"

His eyes glowed as his body shook.

Back at the Delta Base, Sky was sitting on the fountain, while Jack stood near him, both without their jackets. Sky was scrubbing it of the fountain with a toothbrush, which was his punishment for letting Dru in.

"You have to do the entire entrance?" Jack asked.

"Yeah, and all the other cermet areas too." Sky explained. "It seems Commander Cruger thinks that I'll remember that academy regulations are meant for everybody. Even self-righteous, pig-headed, ego-driven Rangers like myself."

"He said that?" Jack questioned.

"He wasn't so nice." Sky chuckled.

"Ouch. Hey, I thought you might want this." Jack said, as he sat down, taking Dru's bracelet out of his pocket.

"Thanks." Sky said, taking it. "I guess a bracelet alone doesn't make it friendship."

"No, it doesn't. But I do admire what you and Dru had...once." Jack admitted, before he took a toothbrush out of his pocket. "Hey, you missed a spot."

He turned and began to help Sky scrub the fountain.

"Jack, stop. You don't have to do that." Sky assured.

"I know." Jack said.

They both scrubbed before Sky started to chuckle.

"What? What, what? What are you laughing at?" Jack asked, looking up at him.

"I can't say." Sky chuckled.

"What?" Jack asked, stopping as Sky still laughed. "What? What's so funny?"

Sky lifted his left leg up as he leaned back slightly, before he put it down and turned to Jack.

"Sorry. I'm using your toothbrush." he said, holding it up.

Jack turned away and threw his to the floor in annoyance, before he began to scratch his hair.
