AN: Reverie has touched down!

Injustice (Imperial Liberation Front)

It wasn't as if they didn't understand the depth of Gideon's grudge. On the contrary, they were among the few that actually could. Still –

"… and we shall utterly ruin those that stand for blood and iron, those that would pursue false justice for their own gain…"

– the man could stand to be a little less long-winded.

"… steadfastly defend the traditions that this empire was built on, for…"

Okay, make that a lot less long-winded.

"… contemporary doctrine clearly states…"

Scarlet sighed. Vulcan groaned. And 'C' – as outwardly impassive as he ever was – tried real hard to stay awake.

Ocean (Laura)

The sand is warm beneath her feet.

Giving an affectionate glance to the rest of Class VII (both old and new) as they enjoy the beach, Laura's eyes slowly turn to the sea, crystal blue waves rolling up against the shore in gentle invitation.

She hadn't sojourned the waters since her time at Thors. Her life had been too filled with training, instructing, and fighting, the sound of clashing swords the only constant besides her friends and her ideals.

Laura remembers how her lungs had burned, how her limbs had ached. A new wave comes upon the shore.

She goes.

Flowers (Edel, Alan, Vivi, Fie)

"I think I understand," Edel said with a gentle laugh, interrupting the frazzled torrent of words with an upraised hand. "Well, you've come to the right place. Do you know what sort of bouquet you wanted to give to Bridget?"

"Not really," Alan replied. "I mean, before this flowers were just flowers, but now I… uh…"

"Roses!" Vivi declared, flashing him an enthusiastic thumbs up. "They don't even have to be the grand kind."

Fie shrugged. "I guess those'll work. Kinda typical though, aren't they?"

"Classic. The word's classic, Fie."

"Don't worry," Edel assured, smiling at the byplay. "We'll help."
