Season 4, Episode 7: A Fast & Furious Space Adventure

The holiday season was once again upon the city of Los Angeles. Expect this year was gonna top any Christmas the Toretto crew have spent together, well according to Tej at least. The reason behind that was because he had been working on a secret project for the past six months, and it was now getting close to the big reveal. But what was this "secret project?"...the answer: A Spacecar!.
Yes, that's right, a space car. Similar to that in nature of a spacecraft but was obviously a lot smaller in shape and not nearly as a time-consuming project. Tej made this decision based on the fact that he enjoyed learning about astronomy as a kid, and even more as an adult. Also, what better way to embrace an interest than by building related to that field. Tej, however, didn't know the first thing about making a car fly, but with countless nights of endless research and Red Bull to keep him awake, the job was able to get done. Well...almost done. He still needed to add some minor adjustments and BAM!...Space Vacation would be falling into play.
However as Tej prepared to leave home towards the housing site, he crosses paths with Roman and Ramsey at his front porch.
"Hey!. Where are you running off to?" Ramsey calls out to him
"Uh…."Tej stutters before being able to find the right words "Nowhere of importance. What are you two doing here?"
"We were gonna go see a movie, wanna come?" Roman asks
"Nah that's okay. But you two have fun" Tej answers
Ramsey's eyes narrow deeply onto the shorter male. "But you said there was nowhere of importance for you to be.
Tej lets out a nervous chuckle and wipes away the already forming sweat from his forehead.
"Yes but I'm seriously needed elsewhere. Now if you'll excuse me….."
Tej scrambles frantically to his car and pulls out within an instant. Roman and Ramsey watched him drive off and their suspicions are higher than ever.
"He's hiding something for us….and I want to know what!" Ramsey states in a determined manner
"Then what are we waiting for?!. Let's follow him before it's too late" Roman adds
The two then soon follow after Tej.

Open Field
Outskirts of Los Angeles
Roman and Ramsey did as planned and followed behind Tej to discover his hidden agenda. Little did the two know that their journey would take them to the outskirts of Los Angeles and right onto on an open field. Roman & Ramsey made sure to park a fair enough distance away but still close in proximity. The two observed closely as Tej headed into what appeared to be an abandoned shack.
"What is he doing?" Ramsey remarks in a loud whisper
"I don't know but something doesn't feel right. I'm out!"
As Roman tries to escape, Ramsey grabs onto his arm with an iron grip.
"Are you joking?!. You agreed to come along and now you wanna chicken out?!"
"Um….do you not know me?!" Roman expresses "That's my go-to response!"
Ramsey smirks devilishly "Well not today. C'mon let's get a closer look"
The two of them advance closer and take positions alongside the sheds' wall. They then peak their heads through the only visible window and there was Tej, already knee deep in working on the space car.
"See?! I told you he wasn't doing anything bad" Roman gloats
Ramsey turns to him with a look of great irritation. "The fuck is wrong with you?! I clearly was the one dragging you here!"
"Potato, Tomato"
"It's…" Ramsey comes to a halt realizing the extreme effort it would take to correct the man.
"Nevermind. Now the real question is why didn't he wants us to know about car modifications?"
Roman shrugs "Let's see" Which was followed by a series of loud knocks on the window.
Tej jumps up and hits his head during the process. He then takes notice of Ramsey and Roman outside.
"What are you two doing here?" He questions
"We had to see for ourselves that you weren't in trouble," Ramsey says "How could you not tell us about this?"
Tej sighs deeply while biting on his lower lip. "That's because this isn't just an ordinary car….It's a space one"
"SPACE CAR?!"
"Yes. I wanted to surprise the family with a trip to space"
"Okay first off how the hell did you even build something like this?!" Roman asks curiously and determination
"Research and dedication. But I'm not done yet so you can't tell the others yet"
"No worries…..your secret is safe!" Roman promises

Thirty Minutes Later…
"You built a spacecar?!" Darryl asks
"Bro why didn't you tell us?!" Alyssa wonders
Tej gives Roman a glowering look to which he responds with innocently
"What?"
"Look. The reason I didn't say anything was that I wasn't done with it yet, and was supposed to be a surprise" Tej explains to the family
"Well, I'm definitely surprised. When do we leave?" Letty asks
"Soon. But for now, I must finish the project first. I'll be in touch"
~Time Skip…...1 Week Later ~
Vacation Day!
Darryl's POV
I cannot believe we're going into space! Like I'm so pumped for this I can barely hold back any excitement. This experience can definitely be something to discuss at cocktail dinner parties. As the family all piled into the car, I was rather impressed and also disappointed about how original the interior was. I mean…..the vibes just scream ordinary road trip. But who knows maybe Tej has more surprises up his sleeve.
"Alright, Y'all ready for the best family vaca ever?!" Tej beams joyfully
We all cheered in eagerness even Roman which surprised me because I thought he would have been bailed out, but kudos to him.
"Alright let's' get this show on the road. Oh but before I forget until we are out of earth's' atmosphere, I'll be putting the car in invisibility mode"
"Ooooh just like in Harry Potter!" Alyssa states
"Exactly"
"Let's just hope we don't end up in the same predicament," Dom says
"Right!"
With that, we began to ascend off the ground in a straight line motion at a comfortable but also heart pounding rate. It wasn't too much longer before were completely off the earth's' surface and into our breathtaking solar system. Even though the only main visible color was black there was something about it that captured my undivided attention.
"Woah look at all those stars! They're even more beautiful up close!" Mia gushes with a toothy grin
"Yeah, stars are great and all but where's the moon?" Roman asks "I wanna be the first man to walk on it"
"You do realize the Neil Armstrong already did that in 1969?" Brian mentions
"True. But I can be the first black man to walk on the moon!"
Everyone except Tej & Ramsey couldn't help but smirk at the mans' determined demeanor.
"Well I can't make any promises but I'm sure will…"
Tej was interrupted by the rapid beeping of the car's dashboard system.
"That doesn't sound good" Letty mentions nervously
"Agreed. Looks like the engine is failing. But no worries we can just head back to earth!"
As Tej tried to maneuver the car he accidentally pushes the "Hyperspeed Button"
Hyper speed Activated
Everyone goes pale especially Roman who screams
"HYPER WHAT?!"
Seconds later the car take off at an extremely dangerous speed moving further and further away from earth.
"TEJ DO SOMETHING!" Alyssa yelps
"I'M TRYING BUT I CAN'T EVEN CONTROL THIS DAMN THING ANYMORE!"
But our first worry was soon solved as the car comes to a halting stop near the moon. Only if things were that easy though! The car then begins to descent at yet another dangerous rate and is about to crash land onto what can be perceived as a foreign planet. Merry fucking Christmas to us!

Planet Doomsday
Just the Toretto Crew's luck for them to crash land onto a foreign planet. Not only that but this place wasn't at all human-friendly. So what does this mean?... Well only thing, slave trade. Planet Doomsday was known for placing any type of species that invade their home into slavery….with no chance of escaping the planet's clutches. Which has happened to our beloved crew but even if the odds weren't in their favor….they still attempted to find ways of escape, Roman in particular. Who, only made matters worse by talking back to the king. Which is the ultimate offense on Doomsday with a punishment of public execution.
"C'mon man it was just a joke!" Roman remarks pitifully while being dragged away from his cell
"The damage is already done and you will now face execution at noon!... King's' orders" An officer replied with no empathy
"This is ridiculous!..." Mia yells out
Officer two turns around and glares back at the youngest Toretto with looks of pure evil.
"Do you wanna repeat that and end like him?!" He snarls
Mia quietly shakes her head no and sits back down.
"What if we made a deal" Dom began
"We're listening"
"I race the king. If I win you let Roman go and release us so we can head back to earth"
"And if you lose?"
"You can execute all of us"
"SAY WHAT?!" Letty yelps in shock
"Promising offer. We'll have to run it by the king and see if he'll agree. But for now, we're taking this one as collateral"
The two officers then continued marching off with Roman in their clutches. Once out of sight, the family turns to Dom with concern.
"Why would you agree to something like that?. You have no idea what's it like to race aliens" Brian mentions
"True. But I'm Dominic Toretto and I never lose, remember?"
"Yeah but you don't what that royal fucktard has up his sleeves" Letty adds
"No worries dear wife. I have a plan as well…"
Dom trails off and turns to Tej with a sly grin "But we're gonna need your help"
"Alright. Just tell what I gotta do"

Planet Doomsday
So part of Dom's plan was for Tej to add an additional modification to the space-car. That modification being a teleporter that would allow for the driver to grab onto any person and teleport them up into the car within just a second. This would be important because before even trying to attempt to race, Dom would teleport the rest of the crew from high up above and they would in a sense get the hell out of dodge.
"Alright, Mr. Toretto. You ready to face your doom?" The king questions with great curiosity
"Sure am. Let's do this!"
"I appreciate your eagerness. Alright, let's get this show on the road!"
As the two got into their respected cars, Dom gave his family one last confirming nod and started the engine with ease.
And in 3…..2…..1…..GO!
As anticipated the king zoomed off at a rapid speed. Dom then proceeds to teleport the crew from the sidelines, causing a dramatic response from the audience.
"Sorry guys this has been fun. But it's time for us to get home…..so see ya never!" Tej announces through the cars' megaphone feature
The Crew's space car took off and not much longer there were alien spacecraft trailing soon after, shooting lasers after lasers.
"Alright, I think it's time to show these space punks a little thing called…...HYPERSPEED!" Dom shrieks
Dom fist slams on the button and the onboard computer states "Hyperspeed Activated"
And the rest was history.

Two Days Later…
Los Angeles CA
Darryl's POV
Well, I'm just gonna say this once…..I will never EVER GO INTO SPACE EVER AGAIN! I was excited at first but after being forced into an alien slave trade…..I'm over that it now and will find something to be hyped about. We barely got away with our lives and don't get me I enjoy some action however, not the type where I thought we would be brought back into slavery and die on a foreign planet. But at least I can say that Christmas 2014 was an interesting and memorable one.

Episode 408 Synopsis: Unplugged
Darryl & Alyssa's class go on a field trip into the woods to "reconnect with nature" but with one major condition…..no electronics for the entire weekend.
