Season 4, Episode 11: Fate Part 2

Cipher's Plane
March 12, 2015
Following the attack at Mr. Nobody's base, Cipher and her team had regrouped on their private jet. Gods' eye had been attained and there was nothing to stand in Cipher's way at World domination. However, Dom had something much greater up his sleeve. He couldn't reveal just yet what he planned to set into motion. Only that is plan was treading on dangerous waters but with a reward that outweighed all cons.
But first, Dom needed to have a little chat with the team captain. The oldest Toretto stormed into the cargo seating area demanding answers.
"That little stunt you pulled back in the base. Was it for me? Letty? And was it even necessary?!"
Cipher looks up from her phone and takes out both earbuds. She makes eye contact with Dom and lets out an irritated snarl.
"Necessary?! Of course, it was! How else will I get you to cooperate?!"
"But you didn't have to kiss me!" Dom rebuttals
Cipher lets out a confident smirk. "I didn't see you pull away. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were enjoying it"
That statement causes Dom to advance closer towards Cipher with balled fists.
"Now you listen here!" He begins in a low and threatening manner
"No...You listen!"
Cipher stands up from her sitting position. Making the two adults just a few inches from each other.
"You agreed to this job and I expect nothing but obedience! Do I make myself clear?!"
Dom plasters a fake smile and nods. "Crystal"
"Good. Now, let's go for a walk. I've got something for you to see"
Cipher leads the way down a long narrow hallway and comes to a halt in front of a dimly lit room with a large glass window.
"You wanted advice on how to remodel?" Dom questions
"No. Look closely in the room"
Dom moves closer towards the glass and sees the silhouette of a woman lying down. At first, he couldn't quite make out who it was, until…
"Elena…"
"Ding Ding, We have a winner!"
"What did you do?" Dom asks
"Find out for yourself"
Cipher removes a small remote from her pocket and deactivates the soundproof features. The beeping associated with this action awakes Elena from her slumber.
"You have five minutes," She says before disappearing down the hallway.
"Dom…" Elena calls out softly "I'm so happy to see you!"
"Me too. What happened?"
"Everything was a blur. All I remember is being us being ambushed at home and then waking in this cage"
Dom tilts his head in confusion
"Us?"
"Yes. I want to introduce you to someone"
Elena walks towards the now visible crib and picks up a baby boy.
"This is Marcos...Our son"
Dom stands speechless at the revelation. "Our son? But when did…"
"It was just after you discovered Letty was still alive. I wanted to tell you, Dom. But I didn't want to get the way of you reconnecting with your true love. I guess now is as good as time as ever. Marcos is also his middle name. I thought his father would be better suited to name him. Just I case I don't ..."
"Hey...I'm gonna get you both out of here. Safe and Sound"
"I appreciate the dedication, Dom. But Cipher is different than any other threat you've faced...She'll…"
Before Elena complete her statement, Cipher reappears from behind and reactivates the soundproof mechanism.
"That's enough for now"
She then turns to Dom. "Time to prepare for our next mission in New York...Let's go!"
As Cipher directs Dom away from Elena, He can see Baby Marcos place his tiny palm against the glass and believes see him babble the words
"Dada"
That's when an unsuspecting tear rolls began to roll down Toretto's face.
He was now more determined than ever to put his plan into action.

New York City, NY
Darryl's POV
New York is such a breathtaking city! Unfortunately, we're only here for a mission. Speaking of which, the only thing I've been able to gather from eavesdropping on conversations is that Cipher wants nuclear launch codes. Which is in the current possession of the Russian Minister of Defense. Well...It was at one point. Alyssa and I had the privilege to watch a massive car pileup near. downtown on a glorious HD monitor. My heart also drops instantly at the sight of Brian accompanying Dom with this task. There's no way my brother could orchestrate such an act. I just don't understand what the hell is going on anymore! Cause not only is our family dealing with Cipher, but They've also decided to recruit Deckard FUCKING SHAW! Of all people. A man we've spent so much time trying to put behind bars and Mr. Nobody just gets him released in an instant. As a means to help us stop Dom and Brian. Like what the actual fuck. He killed Hans!
But that's not even all of it. Letty was almost able to escape successfully with the codes. However, she was ambushed in an alley by Dom and Cipher's right-hand man, Conor Rhodes.
Rhodes was about to kill Letty, but Dom steps in enough time to ensure no bullets were fired. I'm a tad relieved that there's still some of the old Dom left. Yet giving these circumstances, things could still take a turn for the worst. But for now, Letty is still alive but Cipher has her hands on nuclear codes.
And that's when it hit me.
OH DEAR LORD!...CIPHER HAS NUCLEAR LAUNCH CODES! We're screwed. Excuse me while I go have a panic attack.

Cipher's Plane/Third Person POV
"You had one job. Get the codes and get out" Cipher's voice echoes through the intercom system
"YOU GOT THE CODES!" Dom yells furiously
"Rhodes got the codes" Cipher corrects "You made the choice to let her go...So now I have to make one of my own"
The room that was holding Elena and Marcos comes to life instantly. Inside is also Cipher who is holding Marcos and Brian who has a gun pointed at Elena. Her muffled screams were amplified for extreme effect.
Dom glances back and forth...absolutely terrified out what's about to happen. Especially seeing his brother about to willing taking an innocent life without hesitation. That wasn't Brian.
"I don't know what you did to him. But you still have time to fix it. Please don't do this!" Dom pleads
"This is your doing" Cipher replied calmly
"MY DOING?!"
"Believe me, Dom. I know why you let Letty go, I really do. But some consequences come with the choice you made"
Dom can feel eyes begin to prickle with tears as his face twitches in sadness. He bites his lower lip to keep it from quivering. But only for so long.
"Please, I'm begging you!" Dom cries
"I don't want you to beg!" Cipher snarls inching closer to the glass "I want you to learn!"
This causes Dom to pound on the glass as in an attempt to hopefully break it.
"LEARN WHAT?!"
"That Elena's death...Is all because of you"
Elena's cries are then silenced by Brian pulling the trigger...killing her in an instant. Dom could feel his body shut down at the horrendous sight. He then locks eyes with Brian and sees not a single ounce of emotion or remorse.
Things have gone too far. Time for Dom to save the day.
A few minutes later…Cargo Bay Sitting Area
"What did you do to Brian?!" Dom snaps as he felts Cipher's presence
"Let's just say he doesn't remember who he is" She answers simply
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"
Cipher's lips form a tiny sarcastic pout.
"Oh, Dom. You of all people should know what I mean. Brian is suffering from amnesia. To which I'm using to my advantage. But tell me, how did it feel to see your brother murder the mother of your child?"
Cipher pauses to let Dom process her question. She then leans in closer to whisper in his ear
"Did you feel the sting of betrayal? Knowing that your precious family will never be the same?"
Dom's body tenses up and he can fill his anger boil. Yet he doesn't do anything but listen on.
"Hopefully now you'll do the job I'm asking of you. Do you think I enjoy killing innocent people? All of this could have been avoided"
Dom stands up and faces Cipher. He gives her one parting thought before leaving the area.
"Just know this. Once you take your foot off the tiger's neck, there's no going back"

Russia
The two teams found themselves in Russia. In a race to either prevent or start a catastrophic nuclear war. Dom, however, knew that it was now or never to put his plan into action. Once confirmation was received from Deckard that Marcos was safe...was the time to strike. But who exactly was this achieved? Well...Dom had a little chat with a certain Magdalene Shaw back in New York City aka Deckard and Owen's mother.
Cipher, of course, was downright furious with Dom's betrayal and ordered for Rhodes to take out the Toretto crew. One by one. Dom executes him before any bullets land within reach of his family.
Meanwhile, Cipher and Ramsey played an extremely game of tug-o-war with hacking each other's systems. Yet with Cipher failed to realize was that Tej, Roman, and Little Nobody was busy at work inside the base ensuring the launch codes were indeed gonna be inactive.
The mission comes to an end with Cipher parachuting away off her cargo plane. Also with the team forming a blockade around Dom before the exploded remains of the submarine can cause damage. As for Brian? Well, his heroic efforts to Cipher caused him to get caught in a separate and also deadly crossfire...that nearly took his life. Luckily the crew was able to transport him to a hospital to treat his injuries...including the amnesia.
How long it would take for all to return back to normal? Only time would tell.

One week later…
New York City, NY
Darryl's POV
Following the events in Russia, Our family was together again. Marcos would be partaking in his first Toretto family barbecue. Also, Brian got released from the hospital today with just enough time. I sat with Alyssa on a nearby bench while observing Letty's comfort an anxious Dom regarding today's arrival of his son and Brian.
"Don't worry they'll be here soon" Letty states in a calming manner
Dom shakes his head knowingly and lets out a faint "I know" while wrapping Letty in his arms protectively.
Meanwhile, Roman, Tej, and Ramsey were having their own conversation.
"Look I get it. Y'all got a lot in common. Computer hacks, gods' eye, geeks, nerds. But we also have a lot in common, Ramsey" Roman says
"Like what?" Tej scoffs
"Did I ask for your input, Tej? I didn't think so" Roman puts a hand up to block out Tej. Causing Ramsey to let off a sheepish smile
"As I was saying. When we walk into a room...we're just oozing sex appeal. Which is why I have to know. Is it gonna be, revenge of the nerds? Or the dark knight?" Roman questions
Tej crosses his arms in annoyance at Roman's attempts.
"Well if I'm being honest. I like both of you…" Ramsey began before taking a momentary breath "But I do have one question though"
"Anything" Both men answered
"What's my last name?"
Tej and Roman both go shamefaced at not evening knowing the answer. Causing them to just stutter.
"When you figure it out, just let me know"
"Well it's gonna be Parker, that's all that matters" Tej foretells
"It's Jones!" Roman guesses
"Hey, Mrs. Parker!" Tej calls out
But Ramsey already began to walk away. Mia and Letty break out into a laughing fit at the men's misfortune.
"Wait. Y'all know what it is?" Roman asks
They just shrug their shoulders with such ease.
"You wanna grab some wine from the kitchen?" Mia asks
"Sure thing. I'll be right back babe" Letty tells Dom before leaving
Roman and Tej follow after them. Demanding the answer they very much crave.
"C'mon just tell us please!"
Once they were out of eyesight, I turned to Alyssa in disbelief.
"Those two will never stop pursuing Ramsey, will they?" I asked
"Doubt it. They're both too determined to ensure the other doesn't win"
"Agreed"
We click our pop cans together and as I take a gulp of the beverage, I laid eyes on the one person I had been waiting to see.
"BRIAN!"
I spring out my seat and rush over to hug him. It catches him off guard at first but he soon enough returns the hug back, but a tad bit weaker. Makes sense since his strength is coming back slowly.
"Hey kiddo" He greets with strain in his voice "Where's Mia?"
"Grabbing wine from the kitchen. You didn't see her on your way up?" I asked
"No. But I'll go find her. Why don't you get ready for dinner?"
"Okay"
I released myself and headed for the private half bathroom within the roof's premises. Ready more than ever to be with my family.
Ten minutes later…
Third Person POV
Before we begin eating, Dom begins with a brief message as he holds Marcos.
"You've heard me say never turn your back on family. I want to thank you all for never turning your backs on me. I also want to introduce to you all for the first time...Brian Marcos Toretto. In honor of my best friend and brother. Thank you for always being there, Brian'
The family erupts in happy clapping at Dom's message. Brian, however, feels himself becoming emotionally distressed.
He didn't understand why Dom was naming his son after him? He killed Elena! Baby Brian's mother! How was he even sitting at this damn dinner table with everyone as if nothing had happened?!. Family or not...He took an innocent life and it made him feel extremely queasy.
The older blond abruptly gets up from the table and runs off clenching his stomach.
"Brian?!" His family called after him
But he was already long gone.
Brian's POV
I can't go back. Not after what happened. I've destroyed this family and wherever Dom admits it or not...He could never forgive me
This would be for the better.
Starting over with a new life. For the greater good to keep my family safe.
With my final decision in place. I took off running down the streets of New York. Never looking back at the life I was leaving behind.
End of Season
That concludes Season 4!
I can't even begin to express my gratitude for my readers through my journey as I write this series. Season 5 will begin with the aftermath of Brian's decision to leave along with Dom and Letty's journey on becoming first-time parents.
I'm shooting for a premiere date around late January/early February 2020.
