Chapter 6 – Unconsciousness
As Yunhe was still paralyzed, he took her in his arms in bride style and walked without bothering to fly to the Cloud Garden while using his power to generate warm air around them so that the human would not freeze at the same time. who used the conflict between her mind and her heart to ignore the still pungent odor of the reminiscence of her fear and trembling in her arms, in addition to the accelerated heartbeat of the human that evidenced to all that she was still terrified, with the emperor knowing that his bite and the girl's impotence fed that fear.
The reason he didn't fly away and kept walking without any hurry is because he was lost in thought, trying to understand the reason for marking someone against their will because that mark bound them at the level of marriage, in addition to representing the jiaoren's eternal promise that she would be his life partner and that if he died, the newt would be eternally alone and unable to have any other relationship, not limited to just the males because both exchanged their marks. The mermaid would also never have any other relationship and would be widowed forever at the same time that they both felt that they had lost a part of themselves.
Furthermore, the mark would not only allow him to see her when he wanted to no matter the distance. The mate could also sense his feelings as well as the state of health of his wedded mate according to his species.
However, at that moment he only felt a deep fear on her side, something that was evidenced by the tremor in her arms and the pungent odor of fear that made him sick whereas these feelings should never be expected when a jiaoren marked his mate because it was marriage by the customs of his species and so it must have been an immensely happy occasion.
In his view, considering the way it was done and the situation they both found themselves in, he had tainted mark's purpose by doing it without her consent and as he reflected on it, the merman confessed that he never thought he would mark someone against his will by to have lost control and given in to the desire he'd had to mark her as his mate ever since he'd brought her north.
Chang Yi wondered why he so tarnished the mark that was so important to his species because even though the human in his arms didn't know what the blue rune mark on his ear was about, the merman fully knew its profound meaning and even so he continued in his attempt.
As he used the long walk to reflect and stoically ignore the tremors and the smell of her fear that exhaled like a fetid odor to his keen sense of smell along with the feelings transmitted by the bond between them, the jiaoren tried to find some answer and as he analyzed their reactions, the only plausible justification for using this tag was to keep an eye on her, both for what she was doing and for her health.
However, these two motives would be considered distasteful for any member of your species and equally reprehensible.
After all, the mark was special and held great significance in their species. To use it in such a shameful and worst way, branding force, thus forcing a bond with someone who didn't commit was absurd to say the least not to say highly reprehensible and worst of all he didn't have any defense for his an act that now, in his eyes, was unforgivable. His arguments were paltry and even speaking them verbally was shameful. The crown prince of the ocean tarnished the purpose of the mark and the bond, adding to his shame because until then, he had only betrayed his species by allowing his tail to be split in half, causing him to no longer heed the call of the sea for having become unworthy. Now, he tarnished the mark of his people while adding a new sin to his list regarding his species.
Chang Yi agreed that since he was fished off the coast, his vexatious list has only grown, with it gaining a new paragraph with this damnable mark while knowing that it doesn't matter the reasons that led him to mark it and that even with tail cut off, he was now under the gaze of the God of the abyss.
The young woman was exhausted by the effort to break his matrix and the act of breaking the invisible chains that bound her to the third floor along with the effort to escape. The immense fear that affected her at that moment drained her last strength, making her sleep against her will in the merman's arms while the hot steam around them ensured that she stayed warm in that cold night at the same time that the jioaren he was relieved that the human was sleeping, even though he knew it wasn't a pleasant sleep.
After all, when the demon master fell asleep, the odor of fear began to gradually reduce at the same time as the feeling of fear felt by the newly created bond between the two of them gradually ceased and even though Yunhe was sleeping, his body was still shaken by slight involuntary tremors due to the strong terror he felt moments before.
The fact that she felt fear in her presence made the merman's heart ache as he buried his face towards the ground while his silver hair acted as a curtain to hide his haggard and embarrassed countenance from everyone else.
As he approached the construction, some guards, in addition to the servants who worked at the site, watched him bringing the unconscious human into his arms while showing his face downcast and hidden by his long silver hair.
None of them dared mutter their thoughts knowing the keen hearing of the demons while they recovered from the surprise of his jiaoren's mistress having nine black fox tails and when some spot small spots of blood on her shoulder, below one of her ears which had a blue rune, they widen their eyes and come to believe that the merman injured her during the capture after her escape or that she was punished at the same time as the few demons stared dumbfounded at the mark because they knew the meaning of it.
After all, many species had different versions of the marking that the couple exchanged with each other and that was typical of the demonic race because it was part of the marriage between them, making them understand the origin of the trace of a few drops of blood on her shoulder, unlike humans.
After all, for humans, that blood meant that he had punished her, making them wonder what other punishments she would receive for running away.
The jiaoren enters the building and as he climbs the stairs to the third floor he passes the other two floors that are empty.
When approaching the bed, the merman carefully deposits the young woman, covering her with blankets after gently moving a few strands of her hair away from her face, causing the back of her fingers to relax like a loving caress on her soft and warm skin human while his face was apparently devoid of emotions despite several feelings boiling under his skin at the same time that his once ice blue eyes were darkened by the desire that erupted in him with the marking.
The merman had to use all of his strength to turn and walk away because by marking her it wasn't just his feelings that got intense. Libido could be stimulated even more after marking because it fulminated on a honeymoon between the couple and because of this, the merman needed to effectively suppress the irrational desires that threatened to take him and that had become even more intense around her.
A momentary weakness would be enough to make him give in to his irrational instincts even briefly and that was a fact troubling him as he pondered how he would manage to maintain a cold and indifferent façade around her now that he had marked her, with the Emperor of the North being aware that he needed even greater discipline not to let the marking influence him.
After successfully pulling away, he reinforces the magical locks and remakes the matrix around the construction while strengthening it even more along with making other small changes, in addition to restoring the invisible chains that trapped the human.
After leaving the building, with the jiaoren managing to make his eyes return to their usual light blue color after he took a moment to suppress his desires and placate his member, returning it to its previous size, the merman watches the deputy supervisor talking to the servants, as well as the auxiliary supervisor.
When both spot him, they approach and bow respectfully, with the deputy supervisor asking, "Will you punish her for running away?"
"No one should speak about what happened today and what they saw. Whoever speaks will be severely punished" He speaks looking at them while showing angry blue eyes and a tone of voice that made the promise of punishment explicit, making them swallowed dry.
"Yes, Beijing-zunzhu (Beijing – Northern Region and Zunzhu – Lord or Master – indicates high status)"
"What about your mistress?"
"Have the servants remove scissors and any sharp objects that could be used to escape. Remember that only females are allowed inside the enclosure. Males can only stay around."
"Yes, Zhushang." The administrator speaks respectfully, "What about the punishment?"
He again ignores the issue of punishment, then looks at the supervisor of the servants who was a demon and who promptly approaches, bowing.
"Withdraw and leave us alone."
The deputy supervisor and supervisor looked at each other and walked away after bowing respectfully, as did the other servants as the demon continued prostrate, "I know that there are demons among the male and female servants. I forbid them to speak about the mark, including to Ji Yunhe. Got it? Make it clear to everyone else. They can't talk about what happened and what they saw. No one else should know about the mark."
"Yes, Beijing-Zunzhu."
The jiaoren walks away and then uses his powers to go to the capital.
Then, the demon that was prostrated then gets up at the same time that a demon approaches him, commenting:
"We all heard it with our keen hearing. The fact that you didn't tell her indicates the human doesn't know. So it's a shameful mark."
"Yes. He tainted the purpose of the mark. It must always be done by mutual agreement. The fact that he didn't want the human to know indicates that he didn't authorize it."
"This is deplorable." Another demon joins in looking in the direction the jiaoren left.
"Well, that already happened. It's his shame and that's why Zhushang has to deal with it. I can imagine the willpower he had to get away from her."
"Yes."
"It's not easy. I've heard it takes a lot of willpower and determination."
"Well, let's get back to our job and make sure everyone heard his order."
They consent and rejoin the others as they had spoken in a low voice level that made it impossible for any human to hear their conversation unless they got very close and that even doing so would only hear faintly.
In fact, the humans around were a little scared by the inaudible whispers that the demons were whispering to each other while trying to understand the reason for not speaking in a normal tone of voice, and then calm down when they saw that it was just conversation to see the demons nodding in the affirmative while others showed annoyance, shrugged their shoulders or looked with a disapproving look in the direction the jiaoren took.
Then, a few minutes later, everyone returned to their duties and work while supervisors gave additional maintenance and service orders.
