Spell 11: The Phoenix's Rampage

In the Antique Shop Omokagedo, Wajima was admiring Shido's Drago Timer as the magic tool was in his hands, and standing beside him was Tohka as she looked at it as well.

"So this is how." Wajima said as he placed the Timer on his arm. "I can't believe it can draw out all of Dragon's magical power. This is an amazing tool."

"I know, right?!" Tohka asked and Wajima nodded. "He defeated the Phantom in an instant yesterday!" Tohka then tries to mimic Shido's battle against the Phantom Beelzebub. "The fire went bang! The wind went fuuuuu. The water went splash! The earth went boom!"

"You saw it?" Wajima asked and Tohka flinched before she lowered her head.

"I didn't." Tohka said.

Shido was seated on the couch as he was reading today's newspaper before he looked up at Tohka and Wajima as he chuckled.

"Well, it's thanks to everyone's hard work." Shido said and Tohka nervously chuckled as she rubbed the back of her head.

"I wouldn't say that...Especially since I was under the Phantom's control…" Tohka mutters quietly.

Koyomi walks to Shido. Kaguya and Yuzuru were seated on the chairs as they were eating chips together.

"Yeah. But we were there to save the day at the end." Kaguya said with a smug tone.

"Reminder: It was actually Rinne who did all the hard work." Yuzuru told her sister and Kaguya flinched.

"That's right." Tohka said as she cheered up.

"Speaking of which, where is Rinne-chan?" Wajima asks as Tohka looks at the dragon statue on the Drago Timer.

"Oh, I haven't seen her today." Shido said before he reached for his cup of tea.

"That bird thing is cool." Tohka said.

"Isn't it a dragon?" Wajima asked as they looked at the statue together.

Tohka placed her hands on it to get a closer look but accidentally broke the dragon statue off of the Timer as she screamed in worry.

"You broke it!" Wajima said.

Shido screams as he turns to them.

"Why did you break it?!" Shido said as he stood up and walked to them.

"I'm sorry, Shido!" Tohka said as she and Wajima tried to fix the Timer.

(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)

(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)

(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)

(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)

(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)

(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)

(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)

(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes are covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)

(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wore his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zoomed out further as his friends were standing beside him.)

(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)

(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)

(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)

(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they are setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)

(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)

(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)

(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)

(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)

After managing to fix the Drago Timer, Shido decided to go shopping for groceries for lunch. Joining him to go shopping were Kaguya and Yuzuru as they wanted to go too.

After getting what they needed, Shido and the Yamai Twins left the market as they were carrying the grocery bags and walked back home together.

"Sorry about having you two help me buy groceries." Shido told them as they headed home together.

"It's fine! It was actually a little fun." Kaguya said.

"Agreement: It was quite an enjoyable experience." Yuzuru said.

"Well I'm glad to hear that." Shido said before he brought out his phone. "I should probably call Rinne and Mikie-chan, if they want to have lunch with us."

"Hey, Shido!" A familiar voice calls out to him.

Shido looked around for the person who was calling to him but saw no one.

"Hey! Up here!" The voice calls out once again.

The Yamai Twins looked up and spotted the man who was calling to him.

"Shido, up there!" Kaguya said as she and Yuzuru pointed up.

Shido looked up and saw it was Nitou who was calling out to him as the Primordial Mage was standing on top of a tall building.

Nitou then invited the trio up and onto the roof of the same building where he had set up his camp.

Nitou was cooking a hot pot on a portable stove as he was scooping out some of the ingredients with a large spoon and into a bowl.

"This looks delicious." Nitou said as Shido blinks.

Nitou then brings out his bottle of mayo as he opens it as Kaguya and Yuzuru blinks several times.

Nitou then poured the mayo on the food that was in the bowl.

"Here, eat up." Nitou said as he handed the bowl to Kaguya.

"Oh, thanks…" Kaguya mutters as she accepts the bowl.

"It's good. There you go." Nitou said as he gave her a pair of chopsticks.

"Curious: You really do put mayonnaise on everything." Yuzuru said as Nitou prepared another bowl and Kaguya was eating the food he had given her.

"What are you doing up-" Shido started before Nitou interrupted him.

"Oh, say no more! I saved this guy from being hit by a car. Turns out that he's the owner of this building. As thanks for saving him, he said I could use this place." Nitou said before he gasped when he looked down at their bags of groceries as Shido fell backwards and Kaguya flinched as she stopped eating. "This is perfect for nabe!"

Nitou grabs onto their groceries and digs through each bag.

"We were saving that for everyone-" Kaguya said as she was about to stop him.

"What are you doi-" Shido said as he was going to stop him as well.

"Panic: Oh no!" Yuzuru said as she was going to do the same.

But they were too late as Nitou already opened up and cut up the large sausage and put it in the hot pot.

"This is perfect!" Nitou said with a smile as he brought out the milk. "We can eat it here."

Nitou then poured the milk into the pot to give it more flavor as it mixed into, which worried Shido and the Yamai Twins.

"Oh no, Shido…Can we eat this golden dish?" Kaguya asked.

"Question: Can we Shido?" Yuzuru asked.

"NO! I guess we can share some with this guy." Shido said.

"Yeah!" Nitou said with a smile before he moved to Shido's side and placed an arm on his shoulders. "Oh, by the way, Shido, have you seen any Phantoms today?"

Shido sighed to hear that as he should've seen that coming.

"So that's why you dragged me up here." Shido said as he stood up and Nitou stood up as well and placed his other arm on his shoulders.

"Don't be so gloomy! If we spot a Phantom, we should contact each other. And you need help dealing with those Spirit girls...Right?!" Nitou asked.

After fighting the mind controlled Tohka and Yoshino, and after Shido had defeated Beelzebub, Shido, Kotori, and Reine had brought Nitou to the Fraxinus.

It was on that very ship they told Nitou everything. The truth behind the real cause of the Spacequakes, on how the beings known as Spirits were the ones who caused them, and how Tohka, Yoshino, Kotori, Kaguya, and Yuzuru are Spirits themselves, the groups known as the AST and DEM who fight against Spirits to kill them, on how their group known as Ratatoskr whose goals are to save and protect Spirits like Tohka and the others to peacefully stop the Spacequake without killing them and to find ways to coexist with Spirits, and how Shido has the power to seal a Spirit's power within him.

At first Nitou wasn't sure on what to think about all of that, but after everything he saw and experienced as Beast, he was more than willing to believe it. But he was jealous of the fact that Shido is the only one who can save the Spirits by asking them out on dates and making them fall in love with him, given how cute Tohka and the others were.

But despite that, he promises to help in any way he can if another Spirit shows up.

"You don't say…" Kaguya said.

"Confusion: I thought you said you and Shido are eternal rivals." Yuzuru said and Nitou knelt down in front of the twins.

"Rivals...help each other out sometimes." Nitou said and soon stood up in front of Shido. "If anything happens, let me know right away." Nitou then knelt back down to the twins. "I'm counting on you."

Then Shido and the Yamai Twins were now back on street level as Nitou waves at them on top of the building he was staying on.

"It's a promise!" Nitou said before he left.

"That guy…" Kaguya said as she and Yuzuru turned their bags upside down as they were now empty. "Ate all of our groceries!"

"Guilt: We shouldn't have let him bribe us with food like that." Yuzuru said.

"Guess we'll have to buy it again." Shido said.

"Suggestion: Me and Kaguya will go." Yuzuru said and Kaguya nodded in agreement.

"Are you sure?" Shido asked.

"It will be fine. Besides, we'll dishonor the name of Yamai if we don't do this." Kaguya said.

"Request: Wait for us at the doughnut shop." Yuzuru said before they turned around and headed to the grocery store.

"Okay, but be careful you two." Shido told them.

"Please, we're the Hurricane children, this will be nothing!" Kaguya said.

(Meanwhile)

Medusa was walking in an open hallway to search for any Gates, but soon stopped as she could sense someone watching her. That is when a hand appeared between the stone pillars beside her as it waved in front of her.

Walking out of his hiding spot was the Phantom who calls himself Sora as he smiles at Medusa.

"Hello~" Sora waved at Medusa.

Medusa hides her annoyance against the Phantom and soon walks forward.

"I don't remember summoning you." Medusa said as she walked past Sora.

"There's no rule saying I can't come without being called." Sora said as he followed Medusa and placed his arm on her shoulders. "Misa-chan~!"

Medusa slaps his arm off of her and turns to Sora.

"Stop calling me that." Medusa told him, and Sora smiles as he turns away from the Phantom General.

"You never play along." Sora said.

"I don't have time to deal with you." Medusa said as she left.

"That's too bad. Although I don't think this is really the time to be looking for Gates." Sora told her and that got Medusa's attention as she stopped walking. "Oh well~ See you later~"

Sora was about to leave but Medusa stops him as she calls out the mysterious Phantom.

"Stop right there." Sora stops in his tracks and Medusa turns to him. "What do you mean by that?"

"Oh?!" Sora said as he ran in front of Medusa. "You want to know?! But you don't have time, right now." He said as he turned away from her and placed his hands behind his head.

"Are you mocking me?" Medusa asked as she was offended by his attitude towards her.

"Just kidding. I was just wondering if you knew about Yuugo~" Sora told her.

"Yuugo?" Medusa said in confusion.

Medusa had contacted Wiseman requesting an audience with her master, Wiseman had responded as the two of them were in an underground passageway.

There Medusa had told Wiseman the info she had received from Sora.

"Phoenix you say?" Wiseman said.

"Yes. His magical power has gone up again. He's exasperated because he wants to fight. He might act against orders." Medusa told her master.

"Is that so?" Wiseman said.

"What should we do?" Medusa asked.

"We can't let him accidentally kill a precious Gate during a rampage. Stop him." Wiseman instructed her.

"And if I can't?" Medusa asked and Wiseman chuckled as he turned to her.

"I believe he can be stopped, if it's you." Wiseman answered and Medusa nodded in acknowledgement.

Sora was skipping through town before he stopped and smiled as he spotted Kaguya and Yuzuru had left the grocery store with full bags of groceries.

The Yamai twins and Sora walked towards each other.

"Alright, that should be everything. I can't wait to eat Shido's divine cooking." Kaguya said.

"Noted: And shopping by ourselves was a surprisingly new experience." Yuzuru said as she and Kaguya passed by to Sora before he screamed and grabbed onto Kaguya's shoulders which surprised her before she and Yuzuru stopped as they turned to the Phantom in disguise.

"Hello~!" Sora said as he waved at the twins.

"Oh...Hello." Kaguya waved back.

"Greetings: Hello." Yuzuru waved back as well.

They were about to leave before Sora stopped them by grabbing onto their shoulders.

"Hey, you two are friends with the ringed mage, Itsuka Shido, right?" Sora asked.

"W-Well he's more like our manservant, but yes we're acquainted with him." Kaguya said,

"Question: Are you a friend of his as well?" Kaguya asked.

"I guess you can say that. I have a request for you two." Sora said.

"Hmph, well that would have to depend on what it is." Kaguya said and Sora showed them something that was covered in a piece of cloth

"I just need you two to give this to the ringed mage." Sora requested, and Kaguya and Yuzuru blink to hear that before they accept the item from the Phantom as they look at it.

"Curious: What is it?" Yuzuru asked as she and Kaguya turned back to Sora, but to their shock he was gone.

"What the…?" Kaguya said.

"Shock: He's gone." Yuzuru said.

They then looked at the item Sora had given them, and being curious they opened it and were shocked to see what was inside of the cloth. The Yamai Twins soon ran to where Shido was to let him know.

Shido had soon arrived at the donut shop and requested for his usual plain sugar donut. The manager had brought his tray which had his donut and a drink for him to his table as Ryu was cleaning the display case.

"Here, the usual." The manager said as she placed the tray on his table.

"Thanks." Shido said as the managers but Shido soon realized something was off. "Huh? You're not going to recommend your latest recipe today?"

Hearing that causes the manager and Ryu to smile as the manager runs up to him.

"Will you eat it?!" She asks as her worker Ryu picks up the plate that holds her latest creation and shows it to Shido. "The new recipe is the Happy Romance Doughnut! Eat it up!"

The donuts were in a heart shape covered in red chocolate with nuts on the side.

"That looks fairly delicious." Shido said and the manager nodded in agreement, but much to their dismay Shido picked up his plain sugar and took a bite on it.

"What the heck? Same as usual…" The manager said in disappointment as she and Ryu walked back to the truck. "Right? What a tease."

The manager then picks up a bottle of her own mayonnaise and shows it to Shido.

"Want mayonnaise on that?" She asked.

"NOOO!" Shido shouted in disgust as he turned away from them.

The manager and Ryu chuckles in amusement.

Shido then turned back to his original position and was about to eat his donut but…

"Shido!" Shido blinked before he turned around and saw Kaguya and Yuzuru running towards him.

"Emergency: Shido!" Yuzuru calls out.

Shido puts his donut back on the paper plate as the Yamai twins stop by to him.

"What's wrong?" Shido asked.

"You need to see this!" Kaguya said as she handed him the item that Sora gave her and Yuzuru.

Shido accepted the item as he took it, and removed the cloth and saw that it was a wallet but was badly damaged with burn marks around it, Shido raised an eyebrow as he opened it and saw Rinne's student ID in it as it was covered in blood, and Shido was shocked to see this.

"This is Rinne's!" Shido said before he turned back to the Yamai Twins. "Where did you find this?"

"Explanation: A strange man wearing a hat told us to give this to you." Yuzuru said.

"Shido, you don't think something bad has happened to Rinne?" Kaguya said in worry.

Wanting to be sure if Rinne is safe, Shido soon brings out his phone to call but it was already to voicemail.

"The phone number you are trying to reach…"

That gave Shido the answer he needed about Rinne's situation as he lowered his phone.

"Do you remember his face?" Shido asked the twins.

"Yes, of course." Kaguya and Yuzuru nodded as Shido stood up.

"I'm going to contact Kotori, and I'll search for Rinne. You two go and look for that guy." Shido told his friends.

"Acknowledgement: Got it." Yuzuru said.

Then Shido and the Yamai Twins left to search for their respective targets. As he is running, Shido brings out his earpiece to contact the Fraxinus.

(With Kotori)

"What?! Rinne-oneechan is in danger?" Kotori said in shock as she was on her command chair.

"Yeah, or at least that's what I think!" Shido told her as they were watching him through the large screen. "I tried calling her phone but she couldn't answer. Kotori, I know this isn't Spirit related but if Rinne is in trouble…"

"Shido, you don't even have to ask. Of course I'm willing to help if it's for Rinne-oneechan, she's family to the both of us." Kotori told her brother.

"Thanks, I really owe you." Shido said before he ended the transmission.

Kotori soon gives the crew her orders.

"Alright crew, you've heard the man! Rinne is missing and I want her found now!" Kotori told them.

"Yes, commander!" The crew responded as they began their search on their respective computers.

Kotori then placed her hands together as she secretly worried about Rinne.

'Please be safe, onee-chan.' Kotori thought.

(Meanwhile)

After he had given the Yamai Twins his 'gift' to Shido, Sora had arrived at an abandoned warehouse before he headed inside by skipping.

Waiting for him was the Immortal Phantom, Phoenix as he walks in front of Sora.

"Where's the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai?" Phoenix asked and Sora clapped his hands.

"Sorry! I wasn't able to find him." Sora answered and Phoenix clicked his tongue as his patient was wearing thin.

"Dammit. How long are you gonna keep me waiting?" Phoenix asked in annoyance.

"Now, now." Sora said as he moved to Phoenix's side. "Don't be impatient. It'll be okay. We've got bait."

Sora and Phoenix turn to their said 'bait' which was Rinne injured and unconscious as she was lying on the ground.

"Bait, indeed." Phoenix said as Sora skips to Rinne and knelt down to the unconscious girl.

(Flashback)

After Phoenix had unleashed his burst of flames it soon died down as he now feels rejuvenated after releasing all of his anger and frustration.

"That was refreshing." Phoenix said and was going to leave to search for Shido.

"Yuugo. You're rough as usual." Phoenix turned around and saw Sora seated on the stone edge as the injured Rinne was lying on his lap.

Sora smiles at the Immortal Phantom and waves at him.

"Hello~"

"What are you doing here?!" Phoenix asked.

"You should take better care of her." Sora said as he looked down at the unconscious Rinne as he played with her hair.

"Hmph! Who cares about humans?!" Phoenix asked.

"Are you sure? I think she can be of some use." Sora said as she grabbed Rinne's chin and turned her face towards his own as he looked down at her.

"Huh?" Phoenix said in confusion as Sora looked up at him.

"You want to fight with the Ringed Mage, right?" Sora asked.

"How do you know that?!" Phoenix asked.

"If you use her as bait, I think the Ringed Mage will appear rather quickly." Sora said as he pokes on Rinne's cheek.

(End of flashback)

He is doing the same thing now as he pokes on Rinne's cheek, and soon stops as Rinne grunts as Sora smiles at her.

"Hey, you!" Phoenix calls out getting Sora's attention as he lifts his head up.

"What?" Sora asked and Phoenix soon turned to him.

"Why are you helping me?!" Phoenix asked and Sora stood up and answered him.

"To be honest, I don't see eye-to-eye with Wiseman's way of doing things. It makes me want to support guys like you!" Sora skips to Phoenix's back and places his hands on his shoulders.

Phoenix then removed his hands off of him as he moved away from Sora's reach.

"I appreciate it, but I won't thank you." Phoenix told him.

"Don't worry about it. I swear I'll lure the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai here. So just wait a little while longer." Sora requested as he clapped his hands together.

"Fine." Phoenix said.

Sora then took his leave by skipping. Rinne's phone begins to receive contact from Shido's phone as his caller ID appeared on screen, but no one could hear as it was on mute.

Shido had his phone on his ear as he once again tried to call Rinne's phone but it was in voice mail once again.

"The phone number you are trying to reach...is currently out of range."

Shido removes his phone as he runs forward to search for Rinne.

"Where are you Rinne? Please be safe." Shido mutters in worry for his childhood friend.

Phoenix continues to wait in the warehouse but is growing impatient.

"Dammit. Waiting is pretty tiring…" Phoenix said as he folded his arms.

He soon heard footsteps approaching towards him, he looked and saw it was Medusa as she entered the warehouse.

"Found you." Medusa said and Phoenix sighed in annoyance.

"Why's it have to be you?" Phoenix said as he turned away from his former colleague.

"What are you doing here?" Medusa asked and Phoenix grins as he answers.

"I was thinking of getting the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai."

"I don't remember giving that order." Medusa stated.

"I won't be anyone's lackey anymore." Phoenix told her.

"Did you forget? Defying Wiseman's will is forbidden." Medusa told him.

"Shaddup!" Phoenix exclaims at his former colleague. "I'm gonna do what I want!"

Medusa stops in front of Phoenix as the two Phantom Generals stare at each other.

"I won't let you." Medusa told him.

"Sorry, but I won't die." Phoenix said with a grin.

Medusa glares at Phoenix and the latter glares back. Then the two Phantoms change to their true forms as Phoenix swings his sword at Medusa as she dodges it.

Medusa and Phoenix clash their weapons a few times and Phoenix kicks at her and Medusa parries it with her scepter. Then the two Phantom Generals clashed their weapons in a lock as they stood on even ground against each other.

"You may not die, but I can stop you. You know that, right?" Medusa asked as the two Phantom pushed each other back and Medusa dodged an incoming slash from Phoenix and blocked his next slash with her scepter and pushed his sword down.

"Ha! Just try it!" Phoenix said as he pushed Medusa's scepter back and slashes at her several times as Medusa gracefully dodge his attacks.

Medusa blocks one of Phoenix's slashes and kicks him on the face and the two clash their weapons two times, and Medusa parries Phoenix's next slash and lands two kicks on his arm using it to somersault.

As Medusa lands on her feet she soon extends her snake hair and uses them to restrain Phoenix as they wrap around his body.

"I figured you just needed your usual spanking...but you leave me no choice." Medusa said as she placed her hand over her eyes and channeled energy to them as they lit up and as Phoenix struggled to break free, Medusa revealed her eyes and removed her snakes as she turned him into stone.

With that Medusa changes back into her human form.

"Farewell, Phoenix." Medusa said as she turned around and began to leave. "This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't defied Wiseman-sama."

But then cracks begin to appear on Phoenix's stone body as his body begins to heat up and melts his stone prison, and Medusa notices it as she stops walking and turns back to Phoenix as the Immortal Phantom had broken free from her curse.

"No...Impossible!" Medusa said in shock to see this.

"Too bad! Forget the old me. You can't stop the current me." Phoenix said in triumph as he walked in front of Medusa. "Now that you know, tell Wiseman this: I'm gonna do what I want!"

Phoenix turns his back at Medusa and walks away from her as she glares at him.

(Back with Shido)

Shido continues to run through the city looking for Rinne as he soon runned on top of a walking bridge.

"Where should I go?!" Shido said before he received a transmission from his earpiece and he soon answered. "Hello?"

"Shido, I think I found something!" Kotori said in the Fraxinus.

As she begins to tell him what she found, Sora was watching over Shido as he was seated on the arches. Sora couldn't help but grin at Shido.

"Seeing humans flustered is pretty funny." Sora said as he chuckled.

"Then...she's been missing since yesterday?" Shido asked.

"Yeah...And this is only a guess but I think she must have been in contact with a Phantom." Kotori told him.

"Nani? But that's impossible and even if she did, why would she do something so dangerous?" Shido asked.

"I don't know, but that's the only logical conclusion I can think of after gathering the info I can find. And I did find it strange how she learned about Beelzebub's minions back then. But regardless if a Phantom is involved in this, then it's all the more reason we need to find her." Kotori told him.

"Right." Shido said in agreement.

"I'll keep looking into things in my end, and you do the same." Kotori said as she ended the transmission.

Learning this made Shido even more worried for Rinne as he brought out her wallet and looked at it. That is when Sora appeared beside him and looked at the wallet as well before he looked up at Shido and waved at him.

"Hello~"

Seeing him surprised Shido as he stepped away from the Phantom in disguise.

"I'm glad that it got delivered." Sora said as he pointed at the wallet.

"You're the one who gave this to Kaguya and Yuzuru?" Shido asked as Sora smiled at him.

But instead of answering, Sora punches at Shido which he dodges and blocks a kick from Sora. Shido kicks back at Sora two times as he dodges his attacks, and Shido sweep kick at Sora's legs which he dodges by jumping over it and landing on top of the bridge's arches.

After seeing his speed and jumping strength, Shido was able to see through Sora's disguise.

"You're a Phantom?" Shido asked.

"I'd prefer it if you didn't address me with such a broad term like that. Please call me Sora." Sora requested.

"Is Rinne okay?" Shido asked and Sora shrugged.

"Dunno. Why don't you ask Yuugo?" Sora asked and Shido was left confused. "Oh! Or should I say Phoenix?" He said as he sat down.

"Phoenix!" Shido said.

"If you go to the abandoned warehouse in this town, you'll see if she's okay." Sora said.

While he doubts what Sora had told him, Shido doesn't have any other leads right now and if Phoenix is involved, he can't afford to waste time.

"I'll take care of you next time." Shido said as he changed to his Connect Ring and scanned it on his belt.

[CONNECT, PLEASE]

Shido soon brings out and rides on his bike as he heads to the abandoned warehouse where Phoenix is holding Rinne, and Sora watches him.

"Good luck. Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai-kun." Sora said.

Nitou sighed as he lends his back on the railing of the building he was staying on.

"Guess I won't reap anything today." Nitou said as he rubs his hand on his belt, as he leans forward on the railing.

That is when he spotted Shido riding on his Machinewinger as he raced down the streets below the building Nitou was on.

"Oh, Shido. Hey! Did you find a Phantom!" Nitou calls out but is ignored as Shido continues to drive forward. "What a rude guy! Damn…" Nitou leans his back on the railing.

But then Nitou realized something was wrong as he stood up.

"Wait a moment…" Nitou mutters.

Rinne begins to wake up as her vision begins to clear up as her eyes open to see that she was in a warehouse.

"Where am I?" Rinne mutters before she sees that Phoenix was with her as he was sitting on some metal boxes.

Phoenix soon notices she is waking as he turns to her and her eyes widened.

"You're still alive?" Phoenix said as he stood up and walked to her.

"What are you going to do with me?" Rinne asked as she groaned due to her injuries.

"You're bait. For drawing out the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai." Phoenix answered.

"Why…?" Rinne asks as she attempts to sit up but falls to the ground.

Phoenix knelt down to her.

"Let me thank you while you're alive." Phoenix told her as Rinne looked up at him. "You taught me to do what I want."

Rinne's eyes widened to hear that as Phoenix stood up.

"As you said...I'm about to rampage the way I want!" Phoenix said as he began to laugh as Rinne felt guilty that she unintentionally caused this.

Shido soon arrives in the warehouse as he stops his bike with a spin and skid. Shido soon takes off his helmet and sees Rinne laying on the ground.

"Rinne!" Shido shouted in worry as he got off his bike and ran to his childhood friend.

"Shido…" Rinne mutters as Phoenix walks in front of her and faces Shido as he stops running.

"So you're finally here!" Phoenix said as he changed to his Phantom form. "Damn. I was getting tired of waiting!"

"Phoenix…" Shido said in rage as he tightly clenches his right hand and scans his Driver On Ring on his belt.

[DRIVER ON, PLEASE]

Shido's belt changes to its Driver form and soon flips the switches.

[SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN]

"I'm going to save you, Rinne." Shido swore as he showed his Flame Style Ring on his finger and flips down its visor.

Shido soon scans the Ring on his Driver.

[FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI]

Shido soon brings out a magic circle in front of him.

"Henshin!" Shido shouted as he ran through the magic circle to transform into Wizard armed with his sword as he charged at Phoenix.

Phoenix fired a firebird at Wizard and the latter cut it in half using his sword as he kept on running towards the Immortal Phantom as the cut in half firebird crashed on the ground and exploded.

"Wow! Good! Good! Good!" Phoenix shouted as he charged at Wizard.

Both Wizard and Phoenix clash swords and the magic-theme Rider parries Phoenix's next slash but is forced to stumble back.

Wizard turns to Rinne and runs to her but Phoenix blocks his path using his sword, and Wizard pushes it away using his own sword, but Phoenix lands a kick on him which sends Wizard crashing into a pile of boxes.

Phoenix swings his sword at Wizard two times as he dodges the first one and blocks the second slash with his sword. Phoenix turns to Rinne before he turns back to Wizard.

"If you want her, then defeat me!" Phoenix told him.

Wizard grunted as he looked at the state Rinne was in, and having no choice he had to fight and defeat Phoenix once again even if the process would make him stronger.

Wizard roared as he pushed both Phoenix and his sword back. Wizard spun his sword as he slashes at the Immortal Phantom but Phoenix blocks it, and Wizard quickly retracted his sword and stabs at Phoenix but the latter slashes at Wizard's sword knocking it out of his hand.

Wizard dodges a slash from Phoenix by ducking under it. Wizard then flips forward to head towards Rinne, but Phoenix stops him by landing a slash on his legs which sends Wizard to the ground.

Phoenix swings his sword down at Wizard and he dodges it in time as he stands up, and dodges two more slashes from Phoenix as Wizard flips to his sword and picks it up just in time to parry a slash from Phoenix, and Wizard flips forward to stab at Phoenix but the Phantom parries it as Wizard falls to the ground.

Phoenix swings his sword at Wizard several times as Wizard dodges his attacks by rolling backwards as he stood back up as his back went up against a pile of metal junk.

Phoenix swings his sword down at Wizard and he dodges it in time as Phoenix's sword cuts the junk in half. Wizard stabs his sword at Phoenix but the latter dodges it and as the two turn at each other, Phoenix lands a slash on Wizard's chest which sends him flying as he falls to the ground.

Phoenix laughs at Wizard as he stands up and changes to his Water Dragon Ring.

Wizard soon resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.

[WATER, DRAGON: Jabajaba Bashān, Zabun Zabun]

Wizard changes into his Water Dragon Style and charges at Phoenix.

Phoenix slashes at Wizard as the Rider clashes his sword against it, and Wizard dodges another slash heading towards his legs as he flips over it. Wizard stabs at Phoenix but the Phantom dodges as Wizard runs past him.

Then as both Wizard and Phoenix turned back at each other they brought their respective swords on the other's chest and slash on them creating sparks between.

As Wizard stumbles back Phoenix kicks on him forcing Wizard to stumble back some more as he stops onto a pile of junk.

Wizard soon resets his Driver to his right side and scans his Blizzard Ring on it.

[CHOINE, BLIZZARD: SAIKO]

Wizard soon unleashed his Blizzard Spell at Phoenix as the Immortal Phantom stood his ground against the icy winds as he channeled flames around his body.

Using that chance, Wizard charges at Phoenix to attack but the Immortal Phantom manages to overpower Wizard's Blizzard as he cuts the magic circle in half and lands a slash on Wizard at the same time and fired a fire bird in front of the Magic-theme Rider as he falls onto a pile of junk and then to the ground.

"I told you that the same technique won't work on me!" Phoenix reminded Wizard as he pointed his sword at him.

Wizard manages to stand back.

"Then…" Wizard said as he changes to his Hurricane Dragon Ring and resets his Driver to scan the Ring on it.

[HURRICANE, DRAGON: Byu-Byu, Byu-Byu-Byu-Byu]

Wizard changes to his Hurricane Dragon Style, and soon resets his Driver to his right side and scans his Kick Strike Ring on it.

[CHOINE, KICK STRIKE: SAIKO]

As green wind gathered around Wizard's foot, he soon jumps and kicks at Phoenix as he blocks Wizard's attack using his sword. The two were on even ground before Wizard's kick managed to overpower Phoenix as an explosion appeared between them as Phoenix's sword was knocked out of his hand and Phoenix himself was sent flying as he fell to the ground.

"Looks like your mana has gone up again!" Phoenix said as he slowly stood back up.

Wizard lands on his feet.

"I'm going to finish this quickly!" Wizard said as he opened his sword's Hand Author and scanned his Dragon Ring on it.

[HURRICANE SLASH STRIKE: BYU BYU BYU BYU BYU BYU]

Wizard channels green wind around his sword and launches an energy slash at Phoenix which cuts deeply into the Phantom's body destroying him as he explodes as Wizard showed his back against the explosion.

Wizard begins to pant after managing to defeat Phoenix once again, but knowing the Immortal Phantom won't stay down for long he turns his attention to Rinne.

"Now to get Rinne out of here." Wizard said as he headed to his childhood friend.

But then Phoenix's flames and ashes begin to gather in front of Wizard blocking his path as he was being pushed back and away from Rinne.

"Shido…!" Rinne mutters.

Then the flames and ashes send Wizard rolling on the ground before he looks up as Phoenix manages to restore himself with his sword in hand and on his shoulder.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Phoenix said as Wizard grunted. "My mana has gone up too. Now I don't need as much time to regenerate."

Wizard manages to stand up as he changes to his Land Dragon Ring and resets his Driver to scan the Ring on it.

[LAND, DRAGON: Dan Den Don Zu Dogon, Dan Den Dogon]

Wizard changes into his Land Dragon Style and changes to his Gravity Ring and resets his Driver once again and scans the Ring on it.

[CHOINE, GRAVITY: SAIKO]

Wizard brings out a magic circle above Phoenix and the air around the Immortal Phoenix becomes heavy, then Wizard levitates Phoenix up in the air.

Phoenix growled before he roars and unleashed his flames around his body to break Wizard's spell as the magic circle shattered into pieces and the burst of his flames managed to land some damage on Wizard as Phoenix landed back on the ground.

Phoenix charges at Wizard and swings his sword down at him and Wizard dodges it and grabs onto Phoenix but the Immortal Phantom pushes Wizard back and lands several slashes on Wizard's chest and finishes with a stab which sends the Rider flying as he falls to the ground.

"Alright...This is my showtime!" Phoenix declared as he soon brought a pair of wings from his back and large wings of fire appeared around them as they enlarged and extended towards Wizard as he stood up on his knees and looked at the wings.

Phoenix soon attacks Wizard with his wings of fire, and Wizard screams in pain as everything goes dark...

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)

(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)

(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)

(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)

(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)

(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)

(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)

(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that made it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)

(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)

(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
