Spell 14: Choosing the Life
After both Gremlin and Weretiger had gotten away and brought Mikie with them, both Shido and Nitou had brought Toshie back to Omokagedo where they told their friends about Gremlin's offer to them.
"Mikie-chan's life or Toshie-san's life…" Rinne mutters. "We can't choose between them!"
"Yeah, especially since there's no guarantee he'll keep his end of the deal." Kotori grumbles.
"He finds this all amusing." Shido said as Toshie lowered her head.
"I am deeply sorry. All this over me…" Toshie told them.
"It's not your fault, Toshie-san!" Koyomi told the elderly woman.
"Yeah, I agree!" Tohka said in agreement.
"No, it is her fault!" Nitou stated. "Why did you do that?!"
"Well, if you don't devour Phantoms, you will die, right?" Toshie asked in concern for her grandson, which surprised Nitou as he stood up and turned to her.
"Conclusion: So you were trying to give up your life to create a Phantom?" Yuzuru asked.
"To be Chimera's...Nitou's food." Shido said and Toshie nodded.
"Are you an idiot or something?! I don't get you at all! You don't need to give in to despair. There are other Phantoms-" Nitou told his grandmother before she interrupted him.
"I have lived a long-enough life. Kousuke, take me there." Toshie requested her grandson, but Nitou wasn't sure on what to do.
(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)
(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)
(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)
(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)
(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)
(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)
(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)
(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes are covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)
(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wore his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zoomed out further as his friends were standing beside him.)
(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)
(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)
(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)
(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they are setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)
(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)
(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)
(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)
(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)
Both Weretiger and Gremlin had brought Mikie to their hideout. They tied her up in chains and were lying on the ground as Weretiger was looking down at her.
"Why did you kidnap this girl?" Weretiger asked as Gremlin turned to Mikie. "It would have been faster to take out the Gate there."
"That wouldn't drive the Gate to despair." Gremlin answered as he placed a hand on Weretiger's shoulder. "That Granny is supported by her beloved grandson, Beast. I can't wait." He said as he chuckled.
Unknown to both Phantoms, is that something was moving inside of Mikie's pocket.
(Back inside Omokagedo)
As Shido and the others were still trying to figure out what to do, Nitou had a familiar cry in his vest pocket as something lit up inside of it. It was his magic mirror as he pulled it out and looked at it.
"Oh right, I left Griffin in Mikie-chan's pocket." Nitou said as the others turned to him.
"Eh?!"
(Flashback)
It was during the time he was secretly following his grandmother, Shido, and Mikie in a distance and while wearing his disguise. That is when Griffin appeared as the familiar flew in front of his master as he turned to him.
"Griffin-chan, follow them for now." Nitou told his familiar and Griffin as it flew to Shido and the others as it secretly and carefully went into Mikie's pocket.
(End of flashback)
In the mirror, Griffin was showing that he was in a type of bowling alley as it showed the sign that said, 'Bird Bowl'.
"Bird Bowl?" Kaguya said.
"That's an abandoned bowling alley." Kotori said.
"Alright, now we don't have to choose." Shido said.
But Toshie soon stood up.
"Kousuke, take me there." Toshie requested as Shido and the others turned to her, except for Nitou as he turned away from his grandmother. "Kousuke!"
Nitou refused to answer before Shido spoke up.
"Wait, Toshie-san, I'll save Mikie-chan, okay? So don't get any absurd ideas. Please." Shido requested.
Shido heads out to this abandoned bowling alley with Tohka and Rinne to save Mikie from Gremlin and Weretiger. Nitou on the other hand chooses not to go as he wanted to figure some things out.
Nitou was now standing on a bridge as he was leaning on the railing as he looked at the water below.
"Why?! I figured she'd get mad at me when she found out I was a mage. Just like those other times...Why did she suddenly…?" Nitou said as he remembered Toshie's words to Weretiger.
"Hey, Phantom! Drive me to despair."
Then he remembers her words of concern in the antique shop.
"Well, if you don't devour Phantoms, you will die, right?"
And that made Nitou realize something as he raised his head.
"Those other...times…?" Nitou mutters as he recalled his so-called 'bitter memories' with his grandmother when he was a child.
(Flashback)
The time he was swinging on that rope when he was a kid and when his grandmother arrived.
"Hey, Kousuke! Stop!" Toshie calls out as the rope snaps and the young Nitou falls to the ground.
"Ow ow…" Nitou mutters as he stands up but ends up with a skinned knee.
"Didn't I tell you?" Toshie asks as she runs and knelt down to her grandson to check his injury. "Thank goodness it's just a skinned knee. Oh this guy!" She said as she air punches at him and light and colored shine in front of her face as they smiled at each other.
Then there was time he was standing on that ladder to admire the view from above.
"Hey, Kousuke! Come down! If you fall, you'd need more than a bandage." Toshie said in concern as light and color appeared on her face.
Then there was that time when he returned home from the river bank and after finding that fossil.
"Come on, Kousuke! If you got washed away, I'd never be able to find you." Toshie told her grandson.
Then as light and color appeared on her face, she soon brought something out from inside her clothes.
"Take this." Toshie said as she gave her grandson a paper samurai helmet. "It's a protective charm."
Toshie smiled at her grandson.
(End of flashback)
That is when Nitou begins to realize that all this time his grandmother was only worried about him. Nitou screams in frustration as he rubs his hands on his hair as he leans back on the railing.
"I'm an idiot! A huge idiot! I would have seen that sooner if I had just opened up!" Nitou said.
(Meanwhile with Shido)
Shido, Tohka, and Rinne had arrived at the abandoned warehouse where Wertiger and Gremlin were keeping Mikie hostage, as they walked and stopped in front of the door.
"I'll run in and create an opening. Tohka, Rinne, get Mikie-chan then." Shido told his friends.
"Right!/Got it." Tohka and Rinne nodded.
Shido changed to his Connect Ring and used it.
[CONNECT, PLEASE]
A magic circle appeared behind the door and inside the abandoned building, and Shido's hand appeared out of it as he unlocked the indoor lock. Thanks to that the trio soon opens the door and walks inside to search for Mikie and the two Phantoms.
Weretiger was seen working out using two bowling pins as weights as he swung them in his hands. Mikie has soon woken up as she struggles to break free from her chains as she soon notices the paper frog that Toshie had given her, had fallen out of her pocket.
Seeing it helps motivate Mikie as she continues to break free from the chains around her body.
Shido, Tohka, and Rinne had arrived in the back area where the machines that operate the bowling pin machines.
As they were walking Tohka accidentally stepped on something that made a loud noise.
Weretiger heard this as he stopped his workout and Mikie noticed this as she turned to the Phantom.
"Hey! Hey!" Mikie calls out to the Phantom as he turns to her.
"Shut up!" Weretiger told her as he turned away from her.
Shido and his friends continue to explore the abandoned bowling alley searching for Mikie and the Phantoms as they walk up some stairs.
Weretiger walks down the stairs to the first floor of the building.
As both parties continue to walk up and down their respective stairs, Shido soon stops in front of a door that leads to another room and Weretiger walks to a door in the room.
Shido, Tohka, and Rinne were standing by the door as they nodded at each other as Weretiger stopped in front of a door.
Tohka grabs onto the door knob and Weretiger adjusted his glasses...Tohka opens the door and Shido runs through it first and sees that he entered in the main bowling area as a bowling ball was seen knocking down all 10 pins.
But instead of seeing Weretiger or Gremlin, it was Medusa in the room as she turned to the Ringed Mage.
"Medusa?" Shido said in surprise.
"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai?" Medusa said as she was surprised to see him as well.
"Where's Mikie-chan?!" Shido asked as he walked to Medusa as he walked on the bowling lanes.
"And just what are you talking about?" Medusa asked as she truly had no idea what he was talking about.
Shido looked around the area and saw that Mikie was nowhere to be seen, he then heard a familiar cry as he turned to it.
"Huh?" Shido said.
What he saw was Nitou's familiar, Green Griffin hanging on the ceiling with a chain wrapped around its body.
(With Weretiger)
Weretiger opens the door and looks outside to see if anyone was around the area.
His true hideout was an abandoned storage building in another location away from the bowling alley.
"If I can contact Shido-san and the others…" Mikie mutters.
(Meanwhile)
The Phantom Gremlin was seen sitting in front of the bowling alley as he chuckled in amusement that his little plan had worked.
"You fell for it! You fell for it!" Gremlin said in glee.
(Back with Shido)
"I was tricked!" Shido said in realization.
"I don't know how you found this place...but how dare you interrupt my alone time!" Medusa said as she flicks her hair and transforms into her Phantom Form.
"Tohka, Rinne, get out of here!" Shido told his friends and they nodded as they left the room.
Shido soon flips the switches of his Driver as he was now wearing his Land Style Ring.
[SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN]
"Henshin." Shido declared as he flipped the goggles of his Land Ring and scanned it on his Driver.
[LAND, PLEASE: DODODO DODODON, DON DODODON]
A magic circle appeared beneath Shido's feet as it went through his body as he transformed into Wizard in Land Style and was armed with his sword as he assumed his stance with it.
Then both Wizard and Medusa charged at each other as they clashed their weapons two times as Wizard blocked her next attack. Wizard pushed Medusa's scepter aside as he spun and parried her next attack and slashes at her and Medusa dodges it and attacks Wizard two times with her scepter as he parries them.
Medusa then thrust her scepter at Wizard and he blocks it in time and grabs onto it with his arm before both him and Medusa run forward and off the lanes.
Medusa manages to push Wizard aside and attacks him and the magic-theme Rider dodges her attacks as he jumps over one of the return machines.
Wizard blocks another attack from Medusa's scepter as he leans backwards on the machine and soon rolled to the side as he parries another attack from Medusa and slashes at her as she dodges it by jumping on the chairs, and Medusa swings her scepter at Wizard as he dodges by spinning backwards.
Medusa then fires energy shots on Wizard's chest dealing him damage before she charges at him to attack and Wizard dodges it and slashes at Medusa but the female Phantom parries it and binds Wizard's body with her scepter as purple electricity appears around him before she pushes Wizard away as he falls and slides on a bowling lane as he knocks down another pair of pins which gave Medusa another strike.
As Medusa slowly walks to Wizard, he soon stands up on his knee and foot as he changes to his Land Dragon Ring before he stood on his feet and reset his Driver and scanned the Ring on it.
[LAND, DRAGON: Dan Den Don Zu Dogon, Dan Den Dogon]
Wizard soon changes into his Land Dragon Style and soon adopts his combat stance. Medusa soon brings out her snake hair as they move towards Wizard.
Wizard changes to his Special Ring as he resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.
[CHOINE, SPECIAL: SAIKO]
Wizard soon brings out his Drago Claws as he uses them to cut Medusa's snakes into pieces and after that Wizard charges at her and Medusa does the same as they clash their weapons and Wizard throws in a double stab at Medusa which she dodges by stepping back.
Medusa then swings her scepter down at Wizard as he blocks it with his Claws. Medusa manages to push Wizard back, and the both of them launch an attack which brings them in an arm lock as they stood their ground against each other.
"Wow, that's amazing!" Said a familiar voice to the both of them.
Both Wizard and Medusa looked and saw that it was none other than Gremlin as he stood on top of the return machines as he watched their battle.
"What a fine duel." Gremlin said.
"You!" Wizard said in shock.
"Gremlin?!" Medusa said as she was surprised to see him here as well.
Gremlin then threw something by their feet, and both Wizard and Medusa looked down at it and saw that it was Mikie's student ID.
"Trying to make the first move?! Too bad!" Gremlin said as he waved at them. "Be sure to bring the Gate next time. We'll be waiting tomorrow at the scrap yard outside of town. Later!" He waved them goodbye as he took his leave.
"Wait!" Wizard calls out.
Wizard pushed Medusa's arms away and was going to chase after Gremlin but Medusa stops him as she attacks him as he dodges her attacks but she was able to land a slash on his chest sending Wizard to the ground as Medusa sets her eyes on the fleeing Gremlin.
"Stop right there, Gremlin!" Medusa demanded as she chased after him.
As Wizard stood up on his knee and foot, he saw that both Medusa and Gremlin were now gone before he looked down at Mikie's student ID.
(Later)
The sun was now beginning to set over Tengu City.
In her guest room in Omokagedo, Nitou's grandmother Toshie was seen folding an origami paper, she then heard a knock on the door as she finished folding it and turned to the door.
"Yes?" Toshie calls out.
Opening the door and walking inside the room was her grandson Nitou as he soon closed it.
"Kousuke…" Toshie mutters a little surprised that he's here.
Nitou then took a few steps forward before he spoke to his grandmother.
"Baa-chan...Let's go back to Fukui together." Nitou requested but that only upset his grandmother.
"Kousuke!" Toshie shouted and Nitou flinched but she soon calmed down. "How pathetic...I would have been thrilled to hear that yesterday...but right now that's the last thing I want to hear!"
"But I finally get it!" Nitou shouted before he turned to his grandmother. "I understand your feelings. You've always cared for me. I finally get it...But if I lose you now...I will fall to despair."
Toshie was on the verge of tears to hear that.
"You little fool…" Toshie mutters as she stands up and hugs her grandson as they both begin to shed tears. "If you were the type of child to sacrifice someone else for me...that would make this old lady fall to despair." She told him as they stared at each other's faces.
"Baa-chan…" Nitou mutters as Toshie shook his arms.
"Prepare yourself, Kousuke! You don't want to abandon Mikie-chan either, right? Here." Toshie said as she brought the origami paper she was folding.
Nitou looks down at it and chuckles as he sees that it was a lion, like Chimera. Nitou slowly accepts it as both grandson and grandmother smile.
"That's my granny...You see through everything." Nitou said as he chuckled.
(Meanwhile)
It was now night time. Gremlin was seen jumping up on a stairway before he stopped and smiled as he saw Medusa walking towards and she was in deep rage as her eyes lit up and sparks appeared around her as they knocked down every item and boxes around her but Gremlin still kept his smile as Medusa stops and the light in her eyes died down.
"How dare...you use me…" Medusa said as she swung her arm forward to fire an attack at Gremlin, which he dodged in time as he spun to the side as sparks appeared on the ground he was standing on.
Gremlin continues to dodge Medusa's attacks in the form of sparks as he jumps over a railing and onto a box and dodges by running on a wall before he jumps and lands on top of a balcony as Medusa looks up at him and Gremlin looks down at her.
"Come on now. It's just a misunderstanding." Gremlin told her.
"Nani?!" Medusa said.
Gremlin soon jumps down in front of her as he turns to the Phantom General.
"I figured with Misa-chan's help, the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai would finally be defeated." Gremlin explained before he chuckles.
(With Shido and the others)
Shido and his friends were seated in the main room of the antique shop as he told them what happened.
"I see, so it was a trap." Wajima said.
"Yeah. He was just using Griffin." Rinne said as Griffin was standing on Koyomi's shoulder before the familiar flew on to her hands.
"Shido, what'll you do?!" Koyomi asked.
"We can't give them Toshie-san. We've got to think of a plan." Shido said.
"We don't have time to be indecisive." Said Nitou as he and his grandmother walked down the stairs as the others turned to them.
"Nitou." Shido said.
"I know. Say no more." Nitou told him as he and his grandmother walked to them. "Looks like we'll have to go."
"Eh?!" Everyone gasped to hear that.
Nitou then turned to his grandmother and placed an arm on her shoulders.
"Baa-chan, you need to prepare too!" Nitou told her and Toshie soon turned to him.
"I will take that to heart." Toshie said.
Shido soon stood up in front of them.
"Hey! Don't tell me you plan on giving them to Toshie-san?" Shido asked.
Nitou smiles before he gives his answer.
(Next day)
The Phantoms, Gremlin and Weretiger in their Phantom forms, were standing in the scrap yard with a chain up Mikie as their prisoner as Weretiger was holding the chain.
The Phantoms were waiting patiently for Nitou to arrive with his grandmother in tow.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
Gremlin and Weretiger looked and saw that Nitou had arrived as promised with his grandmother Toshie beside him.
"Nitou-san? Toshie-san?" Mikie said in shock that they're here.
"So you chose her life over your own grandmother's." Gremlin said.
"Don't do it, Nitou-san! Don't give them Toshie-san!" Mikie told him.
"Mikie-chan, shut up." Nitou told her before he turned to Gremlin. "Alright, hostage swap."
"Hai, hai." Gremlin said as he showed his back to Nitou. "But first. Mind handing over that cool belt?" Gremlin requested as he turned back to Nitou and the latter narrowed his eyes at the Phantom.
"It'd be a nuisance if you started using magic." Gremlin told him and Nitou reluctantly nodded.
"Got it." Nitou said as he scanned his Driver On Ring on his belt.
[DRIVER, ON]
As the belt changes into its Driver Mode, Nitou soon removes it and tosses it to Gremlin as he catches it.
"Thanks! Alright, Baa-chan, this way please." Gremlin told the elderly woman.
Both Nitou and Toshie turned at each other as Nitou gently placed a hand on her shoulder as she walked forward to the Phantoms.
"Don't, Nitou-san. Why would you do that?! Nitou-san!" Mikie shouted as she tried to rush forward to escape but Weretiger continued to keep her in place.
"Get going!" Weretiger told her as he let go of Mikie as she stumbled forward as she and Toshie stopped in front of each other.
"Toshie-san." Mikie looks at her and Toshie shows the former AST soldier an assured smile.
"Go." Toshie told her.
"No. Run with me, or else…" Mikie said before Gremlin pushed her to the ground and grabbed onto Toshie as he jumped away and landed beside Weretiger with the elderly woman.
"Toshie-san!" Mikie said in worry as she sat up.
"So Baa-chan, since you're here...why don't I grant your wish?" Gremlin asked as Toshie turned to him.
"My wish?" She said in confusion.
"You said you wanted to be driven to despair, right?" Gremlin asked and both Nitou and Mikie realized what he was going to do next as Gremlin set his eyes on Nitou. "Right now, I will destroy what's supporting your heart. In other words...your grandson."
Toshie turns to Nitou in worry as Weretiger fires energy shots at Nitou as explosions appear around him as he screams in pain.
"Nitou-san!/Kousuke!" Both Mikie and Toshie shouted in worry.
Weretiger then fired another attack at Nitou as explosions appeared around him once again as he fell to the ground.
"Stop it! Stop it!" Mikie shouted.
Weretiger continues his attacks as Nitou stands up as explosions appear around the primordial mage once again as Toshie gasps in worry as the explosions begin to consume him.
"A mage who can't use magic is weaker than a bug!" Gremlin said in glee.
Nitou had fallen on his hands and knees when the explosions had died down, Weretiger soon brought out a sword as he walked to the wounded and now powerless Nitou as he slowly stood up on his feet and Weretiger pointed his sword at him.
"You're finished. Inishie no Mahōtsukai." Weretiger stated.
"Now give birth to a cute Phantom." Gremlin said.
"Stop it!" Mikie shouted.
Weretiger soon raised his sword and slash at Nitou, but as his sword went through his body Nitou had changed into orange feathers as they scattered around him. Weretiger was confused about what happened and so were Mikie and Gremlin as both Phantoms looked for any signs of Nitou.
That is when a splash of water appeared beside Gremlin's feet and jumping out of it was Shido as he kicked on Gremlin's chest forcing the Phantom to stumble back as he let go of Toshie before Shido landed on the ground.
"You…" Gremlin said as he charged at Shido to attack him.
Shido dodges his attack and gently pushes Toshie back and away from the Phantom before he throws another attack at him, which Shido blocks in time and kicks the Beast Driver out of his hand as it flies up in the air.
Shido soon resets his Driver and scans his Connect Ring on it.
[CONNECT, PLEASE]
Shido soon brings out his gun from a magic circle and fired on Gremlin pushing him back, and Shido spun around and fired two shots, one at Mikie's chains which broke apart and freed free and the second one landed on Weretiger's back as he was forced to stumble forward as Shido catches the Beast Driver in his free hand.
"Shido-san!" Mikie said in relief that he's here.
"Whew." Shido said as he and Toshie ran to Mikie to check on her.
Toshie knelt down to Mikie to remove the chains on her body.
"Are you okay, Mikie-chan?" Toshie asked and Mikie smiled at her and showed the paper frog in her hand.
"Yeah." Mikie said.
Weretiger growls in rage as he clenches his hand before he notices the feathers that Nitou had turned into had gathered and formed back into his original self as he sighed and placed his hands on his hips.
"A pinch really is a chance! Right?" Nitou said as he turned to his friends and grandmother.
Weretiger soon turns at Gremlin.
"Hey! I thought he couldn't use magic without his belt!" Weretiger said.
"How?" Gremlin asked.
"I didn't use any magic. This is Shido's doing." Nitou said as he showed his Falco Ring on his finger, and Shido showed the Dolphi ring on his own finger.
"I can use Nitou's Rings." Shido said as he recalled his first time using it in his battle against Weretiger.
That's when they came up with the plan.
(Flashback)
First Nitou scans his Falco Ring on Shido's belt.
[BEAST, PLEASE]
"I used my belt to cast a spell on Nitou."
Nitou then walks to his grandmother as she attempts to hug Nitou with her arms but his body changes into feathers as they scatter around and reform back into his original self.
Experiencing it for the first time surprised him at first, but Nitou smiled as he raised a thumb.
(End of flashback)
"There's no way I could give you guys Baa-chan or Mikie-chan's lives." Nitou said as he walked to his friends and grandmother.
"Nitou-san!" Mikie said.
"Well...Gremlin, was it? Time to pay you back for yesterday." Shido said as he and Nitou took a few steps forward. "A mage can't afford to lose in a duel of deceptions!"
"Then I'll crush you through force!" Weretiger said as he preferred that over this plan anyway.
Nitou then gestures to both Toshie and Mikie to get to safety as they nod as they move to a hiding spot for protection.
"I don't feel like losing through force either." Nitou said.
Weretiger then charges at the two mages and slashes at them which they dodge in time before Weretiger swings his sword at Shido as he blocks it with his gun.
"Nitou!" Shido calls out as he throws the Beast Driver at Nitou as he catches it.
Nitou soon puts on his Driver as Shido runs to his side.
[DRIVER, ON]
Shido soon puts on his Flame Style Ring and Nitou puts on his Beast Ring. Shido soon flips the switches of his Driver.
[SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN]
"Henshin." Shido said as he flipped the goggles of his Ring and scanned it on his Driver.
Nitou soon raised his left arm and swung both of his arms.
"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou shouted as he struck his pose and inserted his Ring into his Driver.
[FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI]
[SET, O~PEN! L-I-O-N: LION]
Both Shido and Nitou transform into their respective Kamen Rider forms as Wizard changes his gun into its Sword Mode.
"Saa, showtime daa!" Wizard declared as Beast brought his hands together.
"Lunchtime daa!" Beast declared before both Riders charged at Weretiger and Gremlin.
Weretiger then fires an energy shot at them and both Wizard and Beast dodges it by jumping over it.
As both Riders landed on the ground they fought against the Phantoms with Beast against Weretiger and Wizard against Gremlin.
Both Beast and Weretiger headbutted each other as they stood on even ground before Weretiger lands another headbut on him as Beast falls to the ground.
Weretiger slashes at Beast as he dodges it by rolling on the ground and stops Weretiger's next attack by catching his arm with his legs.
Gremlin pushed Wizard aside as Wizard spun around and slashed at him but Gremlin dodged it before both him and Wizard clash kicks followed with Wizard slashing at him as Gremlin dodges it by rolling on the ground as Gremlin runs away.
"Stop!" Wizard shouted as he chased after him.
Beast charges at Weretiger as he grabs hold of him and Weretiger does the same before the Phantom throws Beast on a nearby box as it is smashed into pieces.
Weretiger then grabs hold of Beast's neck and picks him up as he throws him away as Beast lands and falls on some barrels.
Gremlin jumps into a scrap passenger car through its window as Wizard stabs at him which he dodges by ducking under it. Wizard then enters the car as Gremlin was waiting for as he chuckles and brings out two swords which resemble scissor blades.
Gremlin then charges at Wizard and two clash swords before Gremlin pushes Wizard to the wall before he turns back to Gremlin and dodge an incoming double stab from the Phantom before he dodges two more attacks from Gremlin as he pushes his arm and sword through a window before they push each other back.
Then both Wizard and Gremlin clashed swords once again.
Beast soon puts on his Buffa Ring and inserts it into his Driver.
[BUFFA, GO: BU-BU-BUBUBU BUFFA]
The Buffa Mantle soon appeared on Beast's shoulder.
"Here I go!" Beast said as he charges at Weretiger and the Phantom does the same.
Both Beast and Weretiger clashed a shoulder bash against each other and then the two opponents grab holds of the hands into a fingerlock as they begin to push each other back.
They were on even ground until Beast manages to overpower Weretiger as he begins to push the Phantom back as he smashes into two barrels as they fall to the ground.
Weretiger then manages to stop Beast as he begins to overpower the golden Rider as his knees backwards and his back slowly reaches the ground.
"This is nothing!" Beast shouted as he managed to recover and pushed Weretiger back as he stood back up.
Beast soon lifts up Weretiger with his head on his shoulder as he holds on his leg and shoulder before he jumps into the air and as he lands back on the ground it inflicts some damage to Weretiger as the sounds of breaking bones are heard.
Wizard slashes at Gremlin two times but the Phantom easily dodges his attacks, Wizard then thrusts his sword at him but Gremlin dodges it by moving at high speed as he moves to the side of the scrap passenger car as he brought his head through the window at Wizard.
"This way!" Gremlin calls out in a playful tone.
Wizard soon turns at him to slash him but Gremlin dodges once again moving at high speed as he moved to the other and leans on the window as Wizard soon spun and slashes at him but Gremlin dodges and appeared behind Wizard as he slashes at the Phantom and dodges it before he appeared in the ceiling as Wizard thrust his sword as Gremlin dodges it and was now standing on the roof of the car.
Gremlin chuckles and moves to the middle of the car where Wizard was standing under it, and feeling a sense of dread Wizard runs forward as Gremlin slashes through the passenger car two times as Wizard jumps out of it as the Phantom's attacks cause an explosion as he rolls on the ground.
Wizard soon stands back up as Gremlin jumps down at him as both enemies clash swords, before Wizard dodge another slash from Gremlin as both him and Wizard turn at each other. Gremlin chuckles as he runs away and Wizard chases after him.
Beast and Weretiger, now armed with their swords, were engaging in a sword fight as both Gremlin and Wizard had arrived next to them as they engaged in a sword fight as well.
Then both Wizard and Beast do a back to before they spun around to change opponents as they charge at them. Beast slashes at Gremlin but easily dodges his attacks before he blocks a thrust from Beast using both of his swords.
Wizard and Weretiger clash swords before Weretiger slashes at Wizard's back as he blocks it and slashes at Weretiger but the Phantom blocks it with his sword before he manages to push Wizard's sword back and lands a slash on his chest forcing Wizard to stumble back.
As Wizard stops stumbling he soon changes to his Flame Dragon Ring and it on his Driver.
[FLAME, DRAGON: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou]
Wizard soon changes into his Flame Dragon Style and soon puts on and sets up his Drago Timer and pressed on its switch.
[DRAGO TIME: SET UP...START]
Weretiger charges at Wizard and swings his sword at him and Wizard parries and blocks a punch with his arm and blocks the Phantom's sword with his own as he pushes it down.
Wizard soon pushes the Timer's switch.
[WATER DRAGON]
As Wizard and Weretiger clash swords two times, Water Dragon appears as he pushes Weretiger's sword back and slashes on the Phantom pushing him back. Wizard soon pressed on the Timer's switch.
[HURRICANE DRAGON]
Hurricane Dragon appears in the air as he swings his sword down at Weretiger as he lands in front of him and lands a slash on his chest forcing the Phantom to stumble back.
As Weretiger stops stumbling, Wizard soon pressed on his Timer's switch once again.
[LAND DRAGON]
Weretiger then noticed a yellow magic circle had appeared beneath his feet as he could hear a digging sound beneath and jumping out of the ground and landing an attack on Weretiger was Land Dragon as he lands with the three other Wizards as they assume their sword stance.
Weretiger soon launched an energy attack at all four Wizards as small explosions appeared in front of them.
Gremlin was still dodging Beast's attacks with ease.
[FINAL TIME]
Gremlin turns to Wizard as he hears that.
All four Wizards charges at Weretiger as Land Dragon parries an incoming slash from the Phantom as Water and Hurricane Dragons slashes on Weretiger as they run past him as Wizard lands two slashes in front of Weretiger's body followed with a stab on his chest which sends the Phantom to the ground.
Beast soon slashes at Gremlin when he wasn't looking but he was able to dodge it in time before blocking Beast's next attack with his sword.
"Now I know that you guys are pretty good." Gremlin said as he pushed Beast's Saber back and landed a powerful slash with his other sword which sent Beast to the ground. "Guess I'll retreat for today."
Gremlin then spun around and fired energy shots around himself which created explosions around him. When the explosions had died down the four Wizards, Beast, and even Weretiger saw that Gremlin was now gone and was nowhere to be seen.
"Gremlin!" Weretiger shouted as he was angry that Gremlin had abandoned him.
"That guy sure runs fast!" Beast said before he set his sight on Weretiger as he stood back up. "Fine. I'll just swallow you up!"
Weretiger growled as he clashed swords with each of the Wizards before Wizard himself parries a slash from Weretiger and lands a slash on his chest. With that, Wizard's elemental clones soon disappeared.
"Finish it, Nitou!" Wizard told Beast.
Beast soon raised his Beast Ring.
"It's time for the main dish!" Beast said as he inserted his Ring into his Driver.
[KICK STRIKE, GO]
Beast soon assumes his stance and charges at Weretiger as he lands a knee strike on him followed with a kick, Weretiger counters by throwing his sword at Beast but the golden Rider dodges it and lands a kick with his other leg followed with another kick right under the Phantom's chin, which sends Weretiger flying up in the air as he went through the clouds.
Beast soon follows Weretiger as he jumps into the air and through the clouds as a magic circle appeared in front of him as Beast went through it and kicks at Weretiger as flaming circles appeared in front of him as Beast flew into them and an energy head in the shape of lion's head appeared around his foot as it roared as it smashes into Weretiger as it bites onto the Phantom before he exploded.
Beast soon lands on the ground and soon devours Weretiger's mana as it goes into his Driver. Beast then claps his hands.
"Thanks for the meal!" Beast said.
Both Toshie and Mikie smiled for Beast and Wizard's victory against Weretiger as Toshie tabs on the paper frog.
(Later)
After the battle, Shido and Mikie had returned to the antique shop where their friends were waiting for them. Tohka showed she had bought some origami paper saying she wants to try folding them.
They soon begin folding the paper on the table as Shido and Mikie tell them where Nitou and his grandmother were.
"Eh? Nitou is seeing his grandmother off to Fukui?" Tohka asked.
"Hai, although she said she'll return at mach speed." Mikie said.
"You would have figured she had enough." Shido said as he blew on his origami paper.
"Like grandson and grandmother. Those two are fearless." Kaguya said as she and Yuzuru were putting the finishing touches on their origami.
"Agreement: You can say that again." Yuzuru said.
Seeing that everyone was now done folding their paper, Shido begins the countdown.
"One, two…" Shido said as they showed their respective folded origami paper.
"It's done!" They all said.
Shido folded his into a crane.
Mikie had an airplane.
Wajima made a pinwheel.
Yoshino and Yoshinon made a rabbit.
Tohka made a shuriken.
Rinne made a flower.
Kotori made a dog.
Kaguya made a gorilla while Yuzuru made a giraffe.
Nitou and his grandmother were seen standing on a bridge.
"Hey, Baa-chan." Nitou said and Toshie turned to her grandson.
"Yes?"
"I'll definitely think about the future...so don't ever think about the Phantoms again, okay?" Nitou requested.
"I understand." She nodded as Nitou turned to her with a smile on his face.
"I'll be okay! I still have your charm." Nitou told her and Toshie smiles to hear that before he just remembered something. "Speaking of which...I still have them."
Nitou soon brought out the paper lion she had given him yesterday.
"Here." Nitou soon showed the old paper samurai helmet she had given him when he was a child.
Toshie was both surprised and happy to see that before she looked up at her grandson.
"It's time for the train. Let's go." Nitou said and Toshie nodded before they headed to the station together.

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)
(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)
(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)
(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)
(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)
(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)
(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)
(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that made it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)
(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)
(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
