Hey guys, I saw the season finale of Date A Live 4, and boy was I surprised. To think that Reine was Phantom all this time, that really got me off guard.
Sucks that I have to wait until season 5 to learn what comes next, but I'm excited to watch it when it comes out.

Spell 19: The Truth About Miku
After the news of the battle had reached them, the AST were flying in the night sky heading towards the battlefield that is DEM's First Office Building.
As they were flying Ryouko was speaking to her team.
"We've entered the airspace above the destination. We'll now charge in." Ryouko said before she and her team dive down and through the clouds below them.
They soon arrived at the battlefield which was filled with chaos and explosions.
A damaged Bandersnatch was flying straight towards them which they managed to avoid before it exploded.
The AST soon stops as they were taken aback from the chaos in the battle below them.
"What…the hell is going on?" Ryouko said before she spotted Kurumi's clones fighting against DEM's army. "I can't believe it!"
Then suddenly a strong gust of wind had pushed them down before they stopped.
"What was that?!" Ryouko said before she saw some of Kurumi's clones heading towards them to attack. "All units, spread out! Exterminate Nightmare!"
The AST soon joined the battle as more explosions had appeared above the city below them.
Beast had cut one Bandersnatch in half before he took a moment to pant as even more of DEM's puppets had appeared before him.
"Damn it…just how many of these things are there?" Beast said as he wiped his hand on his helmet.
Beast soon assumes his stance and the Bandersnatches charge at him.
A DEM Wizard falls to the floor as Kamen Rider Wizard has defeated him along with several others as they lie on the floor behind him.
Wizard stumbles before he places a hand on a wall for support. The Magic-Theme Rider had run up over several floors searching for Tohka and had defeated over hundreds of DEM Soldiers, and the fatigue was starting to get to him.
But Wizard wasn't about to let that stop him as he continued to move forward. Wizard was now traveling up another stairway, but then an enemy Territory appeared in front of him as it sent him to the wall behind him.
Then the DEM Soldiers who were in front of him were slowly moving towards him.
"You've come far enough." One of them said before another group of DEM Soldiers had appeared from downstairs. "But this is it. We'll lower the concentration of oxygen around you."
Wizard grits his teeth as he reverts back into Shido.
(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)
(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)
(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)
(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)
(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)
(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)
(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)
(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes are covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)
(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wore his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zoomed out further as his friends were standing beside him.)
(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)
(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)
(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)
(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they are setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)
(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)
(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)
(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)
(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)
The weakened Shido had fallen on the ground as the DEM Wizards had surrounded him and pointed their guns at the Ringed Mage.
Shido lifts up his head.
"Tohka…" He mutters before the DEM Wizards had brought a Territory above him to keep him pinned on the ground.
Shido struggles to break free.
"Toh…ka…" He mutters as he could feel his conscious fading.
But then the windows soon shattered which surprised the DEM Wizards as a strong gust of wind appeared in front of them before the Territory above Shido had disappeared.
"Hmph. How pathetic." A familiar voice told Shido as he slowly lifted up his head.
To Shido's shock it was Miku as she gracefully landed on the floor before she spinned around.
"Gabriel: Solo." Miku calls out.
An organ pipe appears on the floor and bends to Miku's mouth before she sings through it, bringing the DEM Wizards under her control as they drop their weapons and lower their heads.
"Miku…" Shido said as he wondered why she's here.
"Please stop defiling my name." Miku told him as she looked down at the weakened Shido. "You're putting strains in it that I couldn't even hope to get out."
Yoshino along with the Yamai Twins had appeared close to the shattered window.
"Onee-sama, what would you like us to do?" Yoshino asked.
"Well, let's see…" Miku said before she turned to her mind-controlled servants with a smile on her face. "Your Angels all seem too big for the hallways of this building. Would you be so kind as to make sure the Wizards outside don't make it in here?"
Following her orders, Yoshino, Kaguya, and Yuzuru flew into the battlefield as explosions appeared.
After picking up his sword and gun, Shido and Miku were walking in the hallway together as the Ringed Mage was still a little confused on why she's here.
"Miku, why did you…" Shido said before he stops and turns to Miku. "Was it…our promise?"
"I wonder where you got that idea from. Truth be told, I'd almost forgotten about that. I'm only here because I wanted that other Spirit in my collection." Miku told him before she walked forward and in front of Shido.
"Well, either way, thank you. I owe you one." Shido said as he bowed his head.
Miku soon stops.
"Again, you've got the wrong idea!" Miku said before she turned at Shido. "I won't stop you from tagging along like some loser but try your best to stay out of my sight. So? Where's Tohka-san?"
"Well, uh, no clue." Shido shrugged.
"You charged in without even finding out where she is? Do you have overcooked noodles for brains inside your unsightly lump of flesh?" Miku asked as she pointed her finger up and down in front of Shido.
(Meanwhile)
Jessica laughs as she fires over hundreds of missiles at Mana, she was able to avoid them, but Jessica's missiles ended up hitting both friend and foe alike.
Mana was stunned by this before she turns back to Jessica.
"Jessica! Those are your allies!" Mana told her.
But the crazed DEM Wizard just laughs as she fires beams at Mana, and Mana blocks them by bringing out a Territory around her.
"You're dead!" Jessica said as her attacks sent Mana to the ground below with Jessica following her before explosions appeared around them.
Mana soon flew out of the smoke cloud and Jessica followed her.
'She's lost any sort of rational thought.' Mana thought as she looked at Jessica. 'She must've processed too much magic at one time.'
Jessica fires missiles at Mana once again, and Mana grits her teeth before Kotori speaks to her.
"Mana, we'll give supporting fire. Don't get hit!"
Several Territories had appeared around the missiles before Jessica flew next to them and soon exploded around her.
"Thanks. It's great he-" Mana said before ice spears had fired close to her which caused her to fly to the side.
Mana then saw her attacker was the mind-controlled Yoshino riding on her Angel, Zadkiel.
"Hermit! Or rather, Yoshino-san!" Mana said before seeing the Yamai Twins appearing next to Yoshino. "And Berserk! The Yamai sisters!"
"By Onee-sama's orders, all Wizards are going down." Yoshino said.
Kaguya hummed as she could tell that Mana was different from the other Wizards in the battlefield.
"You seem to be different from the other Wizards." Kaguya said.
"Warning: Kaguya, be careful. That's Shido's little sister. I've heard she's quite a skilled fighter like him." Yuzuru told her sister.
Mana grits her teeth as she knows she can't fight three Spirits and Jessica at once. She then notices her old AST teammates close to her as they fire their guns at the Nightmare clones.
Mana then flies to the AST before calling out to Ryouko.
"Captain!" Mana calls out as she stops next to the AST's captain.
"Mana! What are you doing here?!" Ryouko asked.
"We can talk later. Please take care of them." Mana said before she flew up.
Ryouko then saw that Yoshino and the Yamai Twins were flying towards them.
"A-All units, we have new enemies! Squad A, engage Hermit. Squad B, engage Berserk." Ryouko told her team.
Mana soon stops and turns her attention to DEM's First Office Building before she moves towards it to help Shido.
But then a yellow beam appeared above Mana forcing her to move back and dodge incoming sword slashes from Ellen. Mana grits her teeth while Ellen smiles at her former co-worker.
"Oh, you dodged. Impressive reflexes." Ellen said.
"Ellen!" Mana said as she glared at her.
"I was told there was a dirty little traitor among the intruders. Turns out it's you, Mana. How unfortunate. I've considered you the second strongest Wizard after me." Ellen said in some disappointment, but Mana just huffs at her.
"For crying out loud…What'd you expect after messing with my body?" Mana asked.
"So you knew. It appears you were indeed taken by Ratatoskr." Ellen said.
"You don't seem surprised. You must've been part of the whole scheme!" Mana said.
"Mana!" Jessica shouted as she was flying behind Ellen.
Mana grits her teeth to see her again.
"Shut up already!" Mana said.
"Die…Blastark!" Jessica shouted as she fired both cannons at Mana.
Mana blocks them with a Territory but after a few seconds, the beams shattered it.
"I'm not fond of two-on-one fights, but I must follow Ike's orders." Ellen said.
Jessica then laughs.
"Mana. Mana! Now there's no way out, Mana!" Jessica stated as she glared at Mana.
Mana grits her teeth before both DEM Wizards attack with Jessica firing her missiles and swinging her sword, Mana blocks Ellen's attack with her own sword.
"You're an amazing fighter, but…" Ellen said before she flew up as Jessica's missiles exploded behind her.
Mana gasps and the crazed Jessica laughs.
"Bullseye!" Jessica said.
Ellen soon flew down to Mana to swing her sword at her to deal the finishing blow and Mana could close her eyes to brace herself…But then a shot was fired between them as it blocked Ellen's sword which made both her and Mana pull back.
While both Ellen and Mana were confused by that, Mana soon saw it was Origami, wearing a new CR-Unit, who saved her.
"Master Sergeant Tobiichi?!" Mana said as she was surprised that she's here.
Origami then flew close to Mana.
"What's that suit?" Mana asked.
"Where's Shido?" Origami asked.
"What? Nii-sama is alive and kickin'. He's over at the First Office Building." Mana told her as they turned at the said building.
Origami flew to the First Office Building to help Shido but stopped as Ellen Mathers stood in front of her to block Origami's path.
"You thought I'd let you go?" Ellen asked.
"I'll make you." Origami stated.
"Master Sergeant Tobiichi!" Mana said as she was about to move in and help but Jessica moved in front of her.
"Where do you think you're going? I'm your opponent!" Jessica told her.
"Bitch…" Mana said as both her and Jessica along with Origami and Ellen were staring at each other respectively.
(Back with Shido and Miku)
After defeating another group of DEM Wizards, Miku had brought one of them, a woman, under her control as she placed her on the wall and leans close to her mind-controlled slave while having a hand on her cheek.
"Tell me, my love…Where are you hiding Tohka-san?" Miku asked with a sweet and seducing tone in her voice.
"Th-That's classified information." She told her.
"If you don't tell me, I won't like you very much." Miku told her mind-controlled slave.
"W-Wait, Onee-sama! Sh-She's in the quarantine room on the 18th floor. You can get in with this ID card." She explains before showing the said card in her hand. "So please, Onee-sama…Give me…Give me your love!"
Miku chuckles as she takes the card out of her hand and smiles at the mind-controlled DEM Wizard.
"I love good girls like you." Miku said.
Miku then kissed two of her fingers and placed them on the mind-controlled DEM Wizard's lips to give her an indirect kiss. She blushes before faints in happiness as she falls to the ground.
Shido was watching her and wasn't sure how to feel about this.
Then the duo now begins to move up to the 18th floor, starting from the 13th floor.
"There always is a way." Miku told him.
"Yeah, I saw. Quarantine's on the 18th floor, right? Okay, let's go, Miku." Shido said before they walked up the stairs and Miku glared at him.
"I told you, we are not working together." Miku reminded him.
They soon arrived at the next floor, and that's when a group of DEM Wizards had arrived and spotted them.
"Fire! Don't stop shooting!" One of them said before they fired at Shido and Miku who were forced to step back and took cover behind the wall.
Shido was about to use his gun but stopped when Miku stopped forward and fired a sonic scream at the DEM Wizards who were firing at them creating large cracks on the walls and the floor before sending them flying.
Shido was left amazed by her power before the Spirit known as Diva steps out of their cover.
"Was that all you brought to stop me? My, what a disgrace." Miku said in disappointment.
Shido then spotted another group of DEM Wizards appearing behind Miku to fire at her.
Shido quickly steps forward and sends a massive energy wave at them, the DEM Wizards had blocked the wave with their Territories but were still sent flying by the force of Shido's attack.
Shido was left panting from using that attack before he fell on his knee.
"H-Hey!" Miku said.
Shido's healing powers soon begin to heal him before he stands up and slowly walks up the stairs with Miku watching him.
"You're pathetic. What is it that drives you so strongly?" Miku asked.
"I told you. I need to save Tohka. There's no time for loitering." Shido said as he continued to walk forward.
Miku simply gave him a mocking smirk.
"My, my, aren't you a fairy-tale hero. Are you sure you aren't acting brave for the sake of your ego? I'm sure you've grown out of your fairy tale phase. Or perhaps you feel obliged to follow through after saying you value Tohka-san's over your own? I won't judge." Miku said before she followed him up the stairs. "Even after what your friends told me; I don't expect any noble intent from you anyway."
"That's right, I had a moment to talk with them about the people you helped and even saved. You may pretend to like helping strangers out of the kindness in your heart, but you just love all the praise and attention that they gave you." Miku stated but Shido remained silent. "Why don't you say something?"
When they arrived at the mid-way point on the stairs, Shido had fallen onto one of his knees and Miku stopped as she turned to him and soon came up with an idea.
"Oh, how about this? Promise me that you'll give up Tohka-san, and I'll use the power of my voice to get you all the girls you-" Miku offered before Shido interrupted her.
"Screw you." Miku turns to him in shock as he stands back up showing a determined look on his face and eyes. "Nobody can replace Tohka!"
Miku was once again surprised by this as Shido resumes walking up the stairs before she huffs at him.
"That pride will get you killed someday! All your 'love' this and 'important' that comes from your petty pride anyway!" Miku stated before Shido stops and turns to her.
"You're making a big mistake." Shido said, which made Miku stop talking. "Not every human is like-"
"Shut up!" Miku shouted at him while glaring. "Humans are my little playthings. The men are my slaves, and the girls are my pretty dolls. That's all humanity will ever be!"
"Miku…Why do you hate men so much? Why do you objectify girls so much? Why do you see humans as nothing more than that?" Shido asked.
"What? Is it that hard to figure out? That's all a human is-" Miku said before Shido said this to her.
"But you're a human too!" Hearing that surprised Miku before Shido continued speaking. "The Phantom, a mysterious being that looks like noise, gave you, a human, the powers of a Spirit. Isn't that right?"
Miku narrows her eyes at him.
"How do you know that?" She asks.
"I have a friend who's good at research." Shido said as he remembers finding that CD in Miku's room and when Kurumi used her powers on it and a picture of a child Miku with her parents standing beside her.
"Yod holds the power of reminiscence. The bullet gives me memories held by anything it pierces." Kurumi explains.
"You're one of us, aren't you?" Shido asked as Miku looked down at herself. "Then why don't you…"
Miku looks up at him.
"Don't give me that nonsense! You…You don't know anything about me!" Miku exclaimed.
"Miku…What was it that made you like this?" Shido asked and Miku turned away from him. "Miku!"
Miku was silent for a few seconds before she finally spoke.
"Fine, you win." Miku said before she made a sad smile on her face. "I used to be your average idol. Human, of course. I was called Yoimachi Tsukino."
(Flashback)
Miku soon remembers a certain memory that was a huge turning point in her life.
"Have you heard of Kazanari Tsubasa?" Miku asked
"Huh? Yeah, of course I do. She was Japan's number one idol before she moved on to be an international singer." Shido said.
"That's right. And she was the one who inspired me to be a singer myself." Miku said, and Shido blinks to hear that. "It was around three years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday."
A younger Miku was seated among the audience as Kazanari Tsubasa was standing on stage while singing her song, FLIGHT FEATHERS.
"She was beyond beautiful, and her singing was truly out of this world. It was almost like she was a goddess who had descended from the heavens." Miku said.
Tsubasa's singing and performance had truly won over the entire audience as they cheered for her, and Miku couldn't help but watch her in complete awe with a bright smile on her face.
"My voice was all I could be proud of. So, naturally, I wanted to be just like her." Miku said.
Miku then remembers the time she performed on stage herself as Yoimachi Tsukino. Her singing had won over thousands of people cheering for her which made Miku smile in happiness that so many people had come to see her perform.
"Whenever I saw that my voice reached out to thousands of people, I would be overcome with euphoria. All of them told me they loved my voice and loved me, too."
(End of flashback)
"Just as my career was going into full bloom, my manager told me…that a TV producer really liked me, and I should…'get to know' him." Miku said.
"'Get to know'?" Shido repeated as he had a good idea what that meant. "You don't mean-"
"That's the right idea." Miku said as she closed her eyes. "I refused, of course. I wasn't interested in television. I just wanted people to hear me sing."
Miku then opens her eyes.
"But then…" She said as she remembers a dark and bitter memory of her past.
(Flashback)
She remembers seeing a picture of herself being posted on the internet which was a false scandal where she spends her days with men, money, and drugs.
"Some magazine made up a horrid gossip story about me. Nobody in my company bothered to do anything." Miku explains.
Miku then saw that her online blog was now filled with hateful and spiteful comments from her fans.
"The worst part…was how my fans…or people who I thought were my fans, reacted to it."
She then remembered how the staff in her company had abandoned her one by one. Then during an autograph event, only a small handful of her fans came, while Miku smiles in happiness, they were only here to give her their disgust about the false scandal as one of them threw her CD on the table which frightens Miku before she saw that both the case and CD had shattered which was much to Miku's sadness and despair.
"I still believed in my voice. I still believed that my voice could make them change their minds. But…"
Miku decided to hold a concert in the hope of winning back her fans' trust in her, but only a small handful of glow sticks were lit, and her former fans only gave her looks of contempt.
Seeing the looks on their faces frightens Miku, but she soon strengthens her resolve and begins to sing…but to her shock her voice wasn't coming out.
"They said it was psychogenic aphonia."
(End of flashback)
Miku frowns to remember those bitter memories.
"I lost my voice once…because of those filthy male scums." Miku told him, and Shido was left stunned and a bit disgusted to hear that. "My life was meaningless without my voice. I was suicidal. That's when God appeared and bestowed upon me this voice! The ultimate voice that lets me win over people with little effort!"
"So that's what it was." Shido said as he now has a better understanding about Miku's view towards both humans and men.
'Miku doesn't consider humans inferior objects. She's just traumatized and afraid of treating humans as equals. She thinks trust and faith will be rewarded with betrayal and deception. So, she never opens up to anyone and distances herself from people. I guess in a way, I could understand that.' Shido thought as he remembered some bitter memories from his own past.
Miku was panting before she spoke to Shido.
"Now you know why I hate men. They're vulgar, dirty eyesores! Even girls are a nuisance aside from the good, obedient ones! The rest of the humans can go die!" Miku said.
"You got it wrong!" Shido stated which surprised Miku. "I honestly feel bad for you, and I'd like to punch that TV producer and those 'fans' in the face. But that's no reason to hate all of humanity!"
"I've heard enough of that! You men are all-" Miku said before Shido said this.
"Are you sure there was absolutely nobody who wanted to hear you sing? There must've been somebody who believed you, not the magazine, and waited patiently for your new songs!"
Miku grits her teeth.
"Th-There was no one-"
"There they are! We've found the intruders!"
They soon spotted a group of DEM Wizards had run up the stairs and pointed their guns at them.
"One of them is a Spirit! Be careful!"
The DEM Wizard fires their guns and Miku blocks their bullets using her voice and sends them flying away.
"Miku…Right now, you're letting your past control you. What you see in humanity is nothing more than a terrifying illusion you made up yourself!" Shido said before he notices another squad of DEM Wizards appeared behind him as they fired their guns.
"What? You think I'm terrified of humans?" Miku asked before she fired a sonic scream at the DEM Wizards, firing at them to block their bullets and sending them smashing into a wall. "Anyway, we're in the middle of a battle! Leave the chit chat for later."
"Like I care!" Shido said as he turned back to her. "You're afraid of talking with real human beings! But deep down, you still want to talk to them!"
Shido then saw another group of DEM Wizards had arrived and sent an energy wave at them to send them crashing in the wall behind them.
"Isn't that why you wanted to have Itsuka Shiori, the one girl you couldn't control?" Shido asks as he turns back to Miku who grits her teeth.
"Th-That's not true!" Miku stated.
"And when you made your second debut, you used your real name Izayoi Miku instead of Yoimachi Tsukino!" Shido said, and Miku's face turned red in anger. "Isn't that because you wanted humans to acknowledge you?"
Shido then notices another squad of DEM Wizards had arrived and pointed their guns at them.
Miku was growling before she unleashes her sonic scream.
"Shut up!" Miku shouted as her scream sent the Wizards smashing into the wall behind them.
"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Miku demands as she moves to Shido's side before he turns to her. "You'll never understand! Baka! You moron! You birdbrain!"
Miku then turns around and walks up the stairs.
"Wha…Come on, you just don't want to accept the truth!" Shido said as he followed her before they both stopped as Miku turned to him.
"Ha, 'truth'? You're just pulling these things out of your butthole. Baka, baka, baka!" Miku said.
"You little…" Shido growls before Miku turns away from him and walks up the stairs. "Letting you take over Yoshino, Kaguya, and Yuzuru was a bad idea. I'll seal your powers! Just you watch!"
Miku stops as she turns back to him.
"Are you telling me to go back?" Miku asked as another squad of DEM Wizards were running towards her. "Back to my worthless self with no voice?!"
"When'd I ever say that?!" Shido said as he runs up the stairs and sends two energy waves at the DEM Wizards.
They block them with their Territories but shattered and exploded before the DEM Wizards fell to the ground.
Shido then lowered his sword.
"I just want you to sing with your real voice that doesn't have any hypnotizing tricks." Shido said as he turned to her.
"As if it'll help me!" Miku said as she stepped forward to him. "This voice I have now will let me be a top idol forever! If I let go of this voice…"
Miku fired a sonic scream at another group of DEM Wizards that were heading towards, sending them to the ground before she turned back to Shido.
"Who will ever listen to me?" She asked.
"I will!" Shido swore, surprising Miku. "I've heard your real voice. Well, just a song on a CD."
Shido then remembers playing the CD of Miku's days as Yoimachi Tsukino on a CD player, and even though it was just one song, Shido couldn't help but smile after hearing it.
"I could feel the overwhelming effort you put into it. It was amazing! You're fooling yourself if you think nobody will listen. At the very least, I'll keep listening! And this has nothing to do with your Spiritual powers! Even if you lose your voice, you'll never be worthless!" Shido promised her.
"I…I won't believe you! All those fans who betrayed me said the same thing! None of them stepped up to help me when I needed it the most!" Miku said.
"Well, I think you're wrong. I'm certain that someone never gave up on you. But…if you really are telling the truth, then I'll be the one to save you!" Shido swore to her.
"Oh, really? Would you really put your life on the line to save me if I ever got in big trouble like Tohka-san is now? Or if I was ever in despair, you'll be there to give me hope?" Miku asked.
"Of course!" Shido answered, Miku was surprised at first, but she refused to believe him.
"I won't believe you. You won't ever do that. You're a big fat liar!" Miku said before she turned around and walked up the stairs with Shido following her.
"Why don't you listen for-"
"Shut up! Ahh, I can't hear you! Baka, baka, baka."
They soon arrived at the 18 floor before someone had appeared to face them.
"Stop right there!"
Shido and Miku stopped as a muscular african-american man stood in their way.
"I'm the man who Chief Mathers put in charge of the building's defenses, Andrew Kersey!" He spoke.
"Shut up!" Miku shouted as both she and Shido launch their respective attacks at the lone guard which sends him crashing into the way before he falls to the ground.
"Why would I need anyone to save me in the first place?" Miku said as she walked and stepped on the unconscious guard, inflicting some pain on him as she continued to walk.
"Hey, that was your hypothetical scenario!" Shido told her as he stepped over the guard.
Miku pouted. "I don't care!"
"I swear…" Shido said before they stopped in front of a large doorway. "Is this the quarantine room…where they've locked Tohka in?"
(Back outside)
As explosions from the battle continued to appear, Ellen soon spoke to Origami.
"Tobiichi Origami…You were the last person I expected to find here. Tell me, though…" Ellen said as she studied the gear Origami was currently using. "What good is that pile of scrap metal going to do?"
Origami then remembers how she got this CR-Unit.
"The captain told me they seized this equipment from a terrorist group a while back. There's no ID lock on it. HQ probably forgot to do it." Mikie told her.
Although it wasn't as advanced or strong as the units she was used to, Origami chose to use it to help Shido in any way she can.
"I suppose this isn't any of my concern, but at this rate…you could die." Ellen coldly told her.
"I couldn't care less. I need to help Shido!" Origami said before she flew up and fired at Ellen with her guns.
Ellen flew down to a building behind her before explosions appeared around her, but Origami soon ran out of ammo and when the smoke cleared, Ellen was unharmed by her feeble attack.
"Did you really think that would work on me? You should judge your enemies more-" Ellen said before she notices a large part of the building behind her soon collapses and falls towards her due to the damages from Origami's attack.
Ellen brings out a Territory to stop the falling building, Origami attempts to fire at her with her rifle, but it is still out of ammo. Origami then throws her gun at Ellen who blocks it with another Territory but then smoke had appeared from the back of Origami's gun and had surrounded Ellen.
"What?!" Ellen said.
"Got you!" Origami said as she fired several missiles at Ellen and soon exploded in front of the DEM Wizard.
Origami pants as she wonders if it worked.
"That was a smart move."
Origami turns to her side as Ellen, who was unharmed, grabs hold of her neck to choke her and brings out four Territories on her hands and feet.
"Instead of my Territory, you broke my concentration, which I need for my Territory. Impressive. Not the most elegant of tactics, but impressive nevertheless." Ellen said before she strengthened her hold on Origami's neck. "That would have finished anyone but me. But I'm sorry. I'm the greatest Wizard in all of humanity."
Ellen slowly pointed her sword at Origami.
"Ike wouldn't like to see his favorite dead, but you're too smart for your own good. You're more of a threat than an asset." Ellen said before she brought the blade to Origami's face to leave a small cut on her cheek.
Just as Ellen was ready to finish Origami, she soon noticed a golden light which made her bring out a Territory above to block an incoming beam.
"What the…" Ellen said as she wonders who is responsible for this.
It was the Fraxinus flying above the clouds as it fired Mystletainn at Ellen.
"Convergent Magic Cannon, Mystletainn, impact with target, Ellen Mira Mathers, confirmed." One of the crew informed Kotori as Kyouhei was wearing his special headphones.
"I'm not so keen on saving her, but if she's helping Shido, we've got to back her up." Kotori said.
"I'm amazed Tobiichi Origami didn't get caught in it." Kyouhei said.
"Nothing to be impressed by. That's why I had part of the controls switched to manual." Kotori said.
"I'll shoot an apple off the top of her head if you wish." Kyouhei said with a cool tone as a sparkle appeared in his eye.
After the beam fades away, Ellen was forced to dismiss the Territories above her and on Origami's hands and ankles.
Origami then felt the hold on her neck had loosen which she soon took advantage of as she detached the wings on her jetpack and pulled out of Ellen's hold on her.
Origami then brings out a hidden blade from her boot and lands a slash on Ellen's chest which surprises her.
Ellen grits her teeth as she uses a Territory to send Origami flying back as she crashes into the broken building behind her.
Origami was shaking as her eyes were closed.
"You're quite something." Ellen told her, Origami opens her eyes and looks up at her as Ellen had a hand on the wound she just gave her. "Although there was a bit of a distraction, you're only the third person who managed to hit me. Tobiichi Origami, you are a very talented Wizard. Make the best of this gift you have…in Hell."
Ellen soon assumes her stance and Origami grits her teeth before she flies off the building to fire with the gun on her jetpack, but it was too damaged to even move.
Ellen then receives a transmission.
"Ike?!" Ellen said as she was about to leave.
"Stop!" Origami calls out to her, and Ellen turns back to her.
"I'm out of time. You lucked out." Ellen said before she headed towards the First Office Building.
"I won't let you!" Origami said as she was ready to chase after her.
"Origami!"
Origami looked and saw her teammates from the AST fighting against Yoshino riding on her Angel and saw Ryouko had landed on a building.
"Captain?" Origami said.
"Origami, what are you doing here? And what's with your gear?" Ryouko asked.
"You dodged, huh?" Said a familiar voice which Origami recognized as she saw it was from Kaguya with her sister, Yuzuru, next to her. "That's what I want to see!"
"Wonder: Master Origami has been spotted. Please get out of here quickly. Otherwise, we'll have to exterminate you." Yuzuru told her master.
"The Yamai sisters! They're Spirits?" Origami said in some shock.
(Back with Shido and Miku)
Miku soon used the ID Card she was given to scan it on the large door and both the card and the door lights up in matching markings before it opens and reveals the quarantine room.
That's when they saw the unconscious Tohka seated on a chair that was placed on the wall of the room.
"Tohka!" Shido said as he ran to her, but then…
"I've been waiting for you," Shido stopped as he saw a hidden entrance had opened beside Tohka, and walking through it was Isaac Westcott. "Friend of the Princess. Is that correct?"
Shido assumes his stance with Sandalphon and points his gun at him, and Miku brings out her organ pipe.
Isaac walks next to Tohka.
"I'm pleased to meet you. I'm Isaac Westcott, the managing director of DEM Industries." Isaac introduced himself to the teens.
"Isaac…So you're the guy…" Shido said.
"I should thank you for coming, Diva. And…" Isaac said before he stopped as he was surprised to see Shido's face and to see the Angel in his hand. "Who are you? Wait, no…That can't be."
"I'm Itsuka Shido! I'm here to save Tohka! Let her go, or else!" Shido told him, and Isaac smiled at him.
"Itsuka Shido…Really?" Isaac said before he laughed and placed a hand on his head. "The boy who can use a Spirit's powers? I was confused at first, but this explains everything! Hahaha! Oh, this is hilarious! That woman had this all planned out! Hahaha!"
Miku then turns to Shido as she places her hands on her hips.
"What is with this person?" Miku asked before she sighed and placed a hand on her head. "Goes to show how bad men can be."
"Pretty sure his gender has nothing to do with it." Shido told her before he turned back to Isaac. "Just let Tohka go already!"
Isaac stops laughing.
"What would happen to me if I didn't, I wonder." Isaac said before frowning at Shido.
"Then I'll have to make you let her go!" Shido warns him and Isaac just smirks.
"Oh, you can do that, hm?" Isaac asked.
"Of course I can. I am going to save Tohka!" Shido swore.
Isaac smiles as he closes his eyes.
"I'm just kidding. Unlike Ellen, I'm no good in a fight." Isaac said before he snapped his fingers.
With that, the lights of the room turned on and the restraints on Tohka's chair were removed.
"Tohka!" Shido calls out to her and Tohka slowly begins to wake up.
"Shi…do…" She mutters.
"Tohka!" Thanks to that, Tohka fully woke up.
"Shido!" Tohka said before she removed the wires attached to her body and stood up and ran to Shido and he ran to her.
"Shido! Shido!" Tohka said before a thick glass wall appeared between them as both Shido and Tohka stopped in front of each other and placed their hands on the wall as they smiled at each other.
"I'm sorry I left you alone, Tohka." Shido said before Tohka cries in happiness as she falls on her knees, Shido then glares at Isaac. "Hey, Westcott! Open this up!"
"Look at that monster in your hand. I'm sure it could break the barrier." Isaac told him.
Shido then turns to Miku.
"Miku, I need him to listen. Can you do it for me?" Shido requested, and Miku huffs.
"As much as I'd hate following your orders…" Miku said.
"Oh, right." Isaac said as he just remembered something before he gave Shido an evil smile. "I almost forgot…Itsuka Shido! If you keep standing there, you could get hurt."
Tohka then saw something behind Shido.
"Shido, behind you!" Tohka told him.
That is when Shido's battle senses kicked in as he spun around to deflect an incoming stab from Ellen Mathers as the two faced each other.
"Ellen…" Shido said as he glared at her.
"Impressive reflexes. Despite letting your guard down for a moment, you're always aware of your surroundings. That's a useful trait to have." Ellen said.
"Wish I could say the same about you. Tiring to stab someone in the back is a dirty move." Shido said.
"True. But it's my job to break any sword that is swung toward Ike." Ellen said.
"Well, I'm only here for Tohka. Just let us go, and we'll leave here peacefully." Shido requested and Ellen smirks.
"And do you really think I'm going to just let you do that?" Ellen asked, and Shido frowned.
"Yeah, I guess that was stupid of me to ask." Shido said before he scans his Driver On Ring on his belt.
[DRIVER ON, PLEASE]
Shido's belt changes into its Driver mode before he flips the switches.
[SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN]
Shido soon puts on his Flame Dragon Ring.
"Henshin!" Shido said as he scans the Ring on his Driver.
[FLAME, DRAGON: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou]
As Shido transforms into Wizard Flame Dragon Style, he charges at Ellen, and she does the same.
Wizard fires at Ellen with his gun and she soon cuts them down before they clashed their swords several times before they next clashed brought them to a bladed lock before they pushed each other, and the two continue to battle against each other.
As they were fighting, Isaac cupped his chin as he was impressed by Wizard's abilities.
"Impressive. Not many can match Ellen in terms of speed and swordplay, but yet he's an even match for her. This boy is truly remarkable. But…" Isaac said as he eyed Tohka.
Ellen soon fired her cannons at Wizard, and he soon blocked it with Sandalphon. Wizard then opens his gun's Hand Author and scans his Flame Dragon Ring on it.
[FLAME SHOOTING STRIKE: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou]
Wizard soon fired fireballs at Ellen, and she blocked them by bringing out a Territory around her before Wizard's attack exploded around her.
Wizard was left panting as he stumbled a bit as he slowly became weaker from using both Sandalphon and his magic power.
Ellen then flies out of the smoke cloud as she charges at Wizard as she swings her sword and Wizard blocks with his own sword. Ellen then begins to slowly push Wizard back, but then Ellen could feel her wound acting up as Wizard saw her arm shaking.
Using that chance, Wizard was able to push Ellen's sword back and soon slashes at her, Ellen was able to dodge it by jumping back but Wizard was able to land a slash on her leaving a deep cut on her arm which surprised Ellen before she lands on the ground and looks at the cut on her arm as it begins to bleed.
"What's wrong, Ellen?" Wizard calls out and Ellen turns back to him. "It's not like you to lose your focus like that. Don't tell me that little cut on your chest is starting to get to you."
Ellen huffed as she swung her sword down.
"I could say the same about you. Even with the mask on, I could tell that you're getting tired. As weak as they were, you must have defeated almost all the guards in the building to get here, all while using that Angel. So, all those battles must be taking its toll on you." Ellen said.
"Maybe. But I'm not going to let that stop me!" Wizard said as he assumed his stance with both Sandalphon and his gun.
"We'll see." Ellen said as she assumes her stance as well.
"Ellen." Isaac calls out to her, and Ellen turns to him.
Isaac then eyes on Tohka as a way to give Ellen a signal, and while she was a little disappointed about this she nodded in understanding.
"It appears that we have to end this battle sooner than expected, Itsuka Shido." Ellen told him.
"Eh?" Wizard said in confusion.
Then to Wizard's shock, Ellen was charging at Tohka and thrust her sword at the Spirit.
"Tohka!" Wizard said as he ran in front of Ellen to protect Tohka and then…
*PIERCE!*
Time seemed to slow down as Tohka's eyes widened in horror, Miku's eyes widened in shock, and Isaac simply smirks.
Time then resumes as Wizard was groaning before he slowly looks down and sees that Ellen's sword had pierced through his armor and into his chest.
"S-S-Shido!" Tohka shouted in worry.
"I'm impressed, Itsuka Shido. Even if it meant costing your life, you're more than willing to take that risk if it meant saving your friends. Admirable." Ellen said as Wizard drops both of his weapons and Sandalphon disappears.
Wizard slowly grabs onto Ellen's sword to remove it, but Ellen twists his sword inflicting more pain on him and Wizard screams in pain before he reverts back into Shido.
Ellen then grabs onto Shido's hair to make him look at her face.
"But I should've told you. That glass wall was specially made to contain a Spirit's power. So I doubt even I can break through it. In other words, it was a futile effort at best." Ellen coldly told him before she pulled her sword back and Shido's blood splashed onto the glass wall in front of Tohka.
"Shido!" Tohka shouted as Shido was coughing while having a hand on his wounded chest.
Shido was able to at least glare at Ellen as his healing power slowly closed his wound.
"It may have been futile…but…at least I met it head on…instead of relying on a dirty move like that…Coward…" Shido mutters which enrages Ellen as she kicks him inflicting more pain on him as he coughs.
"Shido!" Tohka shouted, and Shido weakly smiled at her.
"Don't worry…Tohka…I'm just glad…that you're…alright…" Shido mutters before he loses consciousness.
"Shido! Shido!" Tohka shouted in worry as she slammed her hand on the glass before Isaac got her attention.
"Come on now, Princess, Yatogami Tohka. We're going to kill your beloved Itsuka Shido now." Isaac told her, much to Tohka's horror as Ellen pointed her sword at the unconscious and wounded Shido. "Use all the power you have to stop Ellen from doing so. Summon your Astral Dress and your Angel. And if need be, even more…"
"What are you talking about?" Tohka asked in confusion.
"You'll know soon enough. Ellen!" Isaac calls out to her.
"Are you sure about this?" Ellen said as she brought her sword above Shido's neck and Tohka turned to her.
"Yes. While I'm interested in him, Princess takes priority. I doubt the Sephirot will break even if he dies." Isaac said.
"Very well." Ellen said as she raised her sword.
Miku then sings to bring Ellen under her control as the latter turns to her.
"Don't bother, Diva." Ellen told her, and Miku stops as she grits her teeth. "That's not enough to control me."
Miku was surprised by that.
Ellen then slowly lowers her sword to Shido's neck as Tohka gasps in both worry and horror.
Tohka quickly stood up and stamped on the floor to call her Angel.
"Sandalphon!" Tohka shouted.
After several more times stamping on the ground, Tohka's limited Astral Dress soon appeared and wielded Sandalphon in her hands.
Tohka soon slashes on the glass wall to break through it, but she was only able to leave a scratch on it.
"Why?! Why?!" Tohka said as she slashes on the wall several times to save Shido. "Stop! Please! I beg you! Not Shido! I don't care what you do to me! I'll do anything! Anything you say! Please…Please don't kill Shido!"
Ellen once again raised her sword to cut off Shido's head.
"No!" Tohka shouted in despair as tears appeared in her eyes.
Time seemed to slow down around Tohka as her memories with Shido appeared in her mind.
'My Angel can't do it? Please, I have to…Someone, please save…Anyone…Please, save Shido…I don't care what happens to me. Shido…Shido…Shido…Shido…'
Then time resumes as Ellen swings her sword down at Shido and Tohka drops her sword as she screams in despair.
In her mind, Tohka's eyes had become hollow and dull as she could feel herself falling into a dark abyss.
Then the darkness gathered together and formed a giant hand to grab hold of her before it spread out once again.
After defeating the last of the Bandersnatches, Beast was panting as he was leaning on his knees.
"Man…I almost thought there was no end to those things…" Beast mutters as he stretches out his back. "Shido really owes me a big dinner after this."
Beast then felt the ground shaking beneath as he stembles a bit before he noticed that the building itself was shaking.
"This presence…!"
Beast then heard growling in his Driver before he looks down and figures it was Chimera who was growling.
"Chimera? What's wrong?" Beast asked.
"Be careful, Nitou Kousuke, this overwhelming power I sense is unlike anything I ever felt before." Chimera told him.
"Eh?" Beast said in confusion before he looked up at the ceiling as he wondered what was going on.
(In the Fraxinus)
The Fraxinus' alarms were going off like crazy.
"Maximum alert?! What's going on?!" Kotori asked, before Shiizaki gasps in shock. "Shiizaki! What's happening?!"
"C-Category E…" Shiizaki answered as she slowly turned to Kotori. "She has negative Spiritual energy.
Hearing that shocked and horrified the crew as they saw dark energy appearing around and out of the DEM First Office Building, right where they were keeping Tohka.
"No…" Kyouhei mutters.
"Sephirot Inversion?" Kotori said in shock and horror.
(Back in the building)
The same dark aura around the building was around Tohka, and Isaac laughed in joy to see this before the glass wall between the room went back into the floor.
Both Miku and Ellen could only watch the dark aura in confusion.
"Ike…What is this?" Ellen asked.
"The lordship has been inverted." Isaac answered in pure joy. "Make way, humans. The Dark Lord is back!"
The dark aura soon covered the moon which darkens the night sky…

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)
(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)
(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)
(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)
(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)
(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)
(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)
(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that made it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)
(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)
(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
