Spell 23: The Stolen Belt
Days have past seen Mayu had left with the White Wizard to become a Mage in order to avenge her sister.
In the antique shop, Shido and his friends were left wondering how Mayu was worried as they were worried about her.
"I wonder if Mayu-chan is okay…" Koyomi said.
"It was Mayu-chan's decision to fight." Shido said before he sat down on a chair. "I don't have the right to stop her."
"But still, I'm worried about her. Do you really think she'll be alright?" Kaguya said.
"Concern: Especially with that White Wizard with her?" Yuzuru asked.
"Well…I can't answer that for certain. But all we can do is to wait and see." Shido said before Wajima walked out of his workshop.
"So, she was just like you?" Wajima asks as he walks down the steps and Shido turns to him.
"Yeah." Shido said.
"The White Wizard…I wonder why he's trying to create more mages?" Koyomi said before she sat down.
"Yeah. That is a good question." Kotori said before she spoke to Shido. "Hey, Shido, after you arrive at Wajima's place, did that guy offer to train you too?"
Shido shook his head.
"No. After the Phantom ritual, all he did was give me my belt and ring. In fact, the day when I got my timer was the second time, I ever met him." Shido said, and Kotori hummed as she folded her arms.
"Now that is strange. Why train Mayu when he didn't even train you at all. It doesn't make any sense." Kotori said, and Shido wondered about that as well.
(Meanwhile)
After arriving in Wiseman's lair, Medusa gave her report to her master about the White Wizard.
"The White Wizard?!" Wiseman said as he turned to Medusa who was bowing her head.
"Hai." Medusa said before she raised her head. "Just who is he?"
Wiseman then turns away from her.
"That's none of your concern. Create more Phantoms. We will hold a Sabbath once more. That is our only goal." Wiseman told her before he entered his bedchambers and after the curtains closed, he changed into his human form which cannot be seen due to the curtains. "Medusa, you will continue searching for Gates."
Medusa smiles before she turns around and leaves.
(Back with Shido)
"But not all Gates will become mages." Shido said. "We've got to keep protecting the Gates as we've been doing."
His friends smile to hear that.
"You're right." Koyomi said.
"And we'll be there to help. Right, minna?!" Tohka asked and they nodded.
"Speaking of Gates, what about the other Gate, Takako-chan? Is she safe?" Wajima asked.
"Yeah. She's staying with relatives out of the country." Shido said.
"Oh, I see. Thank goodness." Wajima said.
In another country overseas from Japan, archaeologist Nakamoto Osamu, was in the cave doing his own private excavating in a dark cave.
Osamu was a middle-aged man with black and graying hair with black eyes.
Osamu was using his tools to move rocks and dirt away as he searched for any relics this cave would offer. That is when he noticed something underneath the rocks and dirt.
"Something's here." Osamu said as he began using his hands to remove the dirt and soon found a stone slab. "This is…"
He then grabs onto the slab and drags it backwards, that's when he finds a hidden box with an item inside. Osamu smiles to see that.
"I did it! I found something! With this, I'll be…"
In the box was a stone artifact that almost resembled a gun with a lion's head. Beside it was a Magic Ring that was in the same design as Nitou's Rings.
The Ring was colored blue and was covered in rock casing, it also had an image of a golden lion's face with red eyes and a mouth with a jewel on its forehead.

(Instrumental) (As the song begins both of Wizard's Style and Dragon Rings floating in a dark space, and images of Shido and his friends appeared in each of them before a new and unknown Ring appeared between all of them.)
(Zutto hikari no naka kinō made wa nakatta ashiato o tadotte kita hodo) (The scene changes to Shido wearing his Flame Ring smiling and appearing close to him were Tohka, Koyomi, and Yoshino, then it changes to Nitou carrying his bag and wearing his Beast Ring and appearing close to him were Kotori, Rinne, Mikie, the Yamai Twins, Miku, Origami, and Kurumi before flashes of Shido, Nitou, and the Spirits changing form and ready for battle.)
(Gōru no mienai meiro ame ni utareta chizu kōkai mo nani mo nai kedo) (Then it changes to silhouettes of Wizard's Style Forms and Beast wearing his Mantles appeared one at a time before it changes to the PlaMonsters heading towards Wizard who was standing on his favorite park looking at Tengu City before he turns to the screen.)
(Sakenda koe wa) (The scene changes of Shido standing in an area of Tengu city as images of his life appeared, and then to Tohka in a different area as images of her life appeared as well.)
(The screen changes showing Tengu City and its famous landmarks.)
(Kitto todoku kara) (Next Yoshino and Koyomi appeared as images of their lives appeared, then Origami and Mikie appeared with images, then to Rinne and Koyomi, then to Kurumi and Miku, and finally Nitou)
(Then changes to Shido and his friends were about to take a group photo before Nitou suddenly wraps his arm around Shido's neck surprising both him and the others as the camera took the photo.)
(Kono monogatari no hajimaru kane no ne ga tsunagu tabi no tochū de) (The changes to Wiseman and standing next to him were Medusa and Gremlin, while Gremlin had a sinister smile on his face as he hid it. Then we see Shido and Nitou turning to them as an army of Ghouls were approaching them and they soon transformed into their Kamen Rider forms armed with their weapons and appeared next to them were the Spirits wearing their Spirit Armor armed with their Angels before they charged at the Ghouls.)
(Kimi ga egaita mirai no sekai wa itsuka no sora ni michibikarete) (Wizard was seen clashing swords against Gremlin before the two entered a bladed lock, then it changes to Beast fighting against Medusa before it changes to the Spirits each throwing an attack at the Ghouls.)
(Futatsu no omoi o hitotsu zutsu katachi ni shite kiseki o motto koete) (Then it suddenly changes to Koyomi falling into a dark abyss and saw Wizard had entered the abyss as he reach out to her and she does the same, and when the two hold hands a flash of light had appeared between them. Then it changes to Wizard and his friends standing in front of a large door as it opens revealing a bright light, his friends are giving him smiles of encouragement as Wizard smiles back at them as he enters the light.)
(Kimi ga egaita mirai no sekai wa ima mo dokoka de ikitsudzukete) (Then scenes of Shido meeting the Spirits and helping them appeared and each of them ended with them kissing them before it changes showing a dark sky with an eclipse appearing and a giant magic circle appeared in Tengu City)
(Don'na yume kasanete itsuwaru koto no nai ano hikari o) (Then the screen showed flashes of Wizard's battle thus far with flashes of his friends smiling appearing as well, before it changes to Shido shedding a tear as it falls and when the tear lands on his hand it transforms into a new Ring.)
(Ahh…on give for my way) (Then it changes to Shido standing side-by-side with his friends as the sun rises behind them. Then changes to Wizard's sword stabbed on the ground with the sun shining above it.)
At the Hungry Donut Shop, Nitou was seated on a chair waiting on his order of donuts, but he still sighed before he looked down and rubbed on his belt.
"I'll be in trouble if I don't devour a Phantom soon. How many days has it been since I last devoured one?" Nitou said before a flier flew onto his face.
The Owner and Ryo soon brought Nitou his doughnut as she placed it on the table.
"Thanks for waiting! Here's the new recipe: Tuna Mayonnaise Donut!" The Owner and Ryo said as Nitou removed the flier.
Nitou then looks down at the said donut and smiles.
"That looks delicious!" Nitou said as he crumpled up the flier and scooted forward using the chair. "First, I'm gonna fill my belly!"
Both the Owner and Ryo smile when they hear that before they turn to each other.
"We've done it, Owner!" Ryo said.
Nitou then brings out his bottle of mayo to pour some extra dressing on it.
"Unlike Shido-kun, he will actually eat it!" She said before she and Ryo turned back to Nitou and saw he was adding some extra mayonnaise on it.
Both the Owner and Ryo screams in dismay which surprised Nitou.
"You just turned it into a Mayonnaise Donut!" The Owner said.
"It's not the same. Mayonnaise Donuts are Mayonnaise Donuts. This is Mayonnaise Tuna Mayo Donut." Nitou told them.
"This is unforgivable! I'm taking back my new product!" The Owner said as she grabbed onto the tray to take it away from Nitou who stopped her as he grabbed onto it as well as he stood up.
"What are you saying?! What a waste!" Nitou protested.
"This is a Mayonnaise Donut!" The Owner exclaimed.
As he was watching, Ryo then realized something before he spoke.
"It's mayonnaise either way."
That's when a newspaper flew onto the Owner's face and Nitou saw something on the front page that really caught his attention.
"Wait a moment! Don't move!" Nitou told her as he placed his hands in front of the newspaper to hold it in place.
The page Nitou was looking at had the pictures of Osamu along with the two relics he found.
"This lion…looks like mine!" Nitou said as the relics were similar to his Beast Driver as it had a lion as well. He then read the rest of the newspaper. "Let's see…Nakamoto Osamu-san from the Asahina Archaeology Lab was excavating the Niol ruins…In order to perform a more thorough investigation…Eh?! He's returning to Japan today?! This is no time to be here!"
With the newspaper in hand, Nitou runs to meet with Osamu as a strong gust of wind begins knocking some stuff down while the Owner struggles to hold onto the tray not noticing that Nitou was now gone.
"Tuna mayo…Mayonnaise…Mayo…" She said before Ryo tapped on his boss' shoulder getting her attention.
"He's gone already." Ryo pointed out and the Owner soon saw that Nitou was now gone.
In the antique shop, Mikie soon opens the door as Garuda, Kraken, and Unicorn flew out of the shop to patrol for any Phantoms.
"Have a safe trip. But be careful." Mikie waved them the familiars goodbye as they headed out.
Shido and Koyomi were seated together as Shido was giving her some mana. After receiving a decent amount, they soon stop as Koyomi stops glowing.
"Thanks." Koyomi said.
"Is that enough?" Shido asked and Koyomi nodded.
"If I take too much magical energy, you won't be able to fight, Shido." Koyomi said.
Yoshino and Tohka were looking at the shy familiar, Golem, who was hiding on the staircase that leads to Wajima's workshop.
"Hey, Golem." Tohka calls out, and Golem flinches as he turns to her. "Garuda and the others have already left."
"Yeah, how about you go and join them?!" Yoshinon told it.
But Golem screams as it runs away.
"Poor, Golem." Yoshino said in sadness.
"Looks like he is the same as always." Rinne said.
Then Rinne, Tohka, and Yoshino followed Golem to Wajima's workshop as he was working on a new ring.
"Well, people have their strengths and their weaknesses. He may not be good at searching for Phantoms, but he might excel at something else." Wajima said before he notices that Golem had jumped onto his arm before the purple familiar climbs onto his shoulder and roars at him.
Golem then jumps down onto his crafting table and picks one of Wajima's tools as he curious looks at it.
Shido, Koyomi, and Mikie moved at the other doorway as they could hear Golem building something.
"Oh? Already?" Shido said.
"I wonder what he's doing." Koyomi said.
(Meanwhile)
At the airport, Osamu's airplane soon landed. He was now walking out of the arrival path while carrying his suitcase and briefcase in hand before he stopped as he saw a group of reporters were waiting for him which caused him to smile.
One of the reporters notice him as he spoke,
"Over there!" They soon move to the archaeologist.
Osamu waited for them, but the reporters only ignored him as they moved in front of two famous singers who just returned after performing in an overseas event.
"Welcome back to Japan!" One of them said as they bombard them with many questions.
While Osamu was a bit saddened by this, he didn't let it get to him as this wasn't the first time this happened. But he knows that this time things will be different before he heads out.
Unknown to him as the Phantom, Medusa was spying on him in a distance as she smiled.
"Found one." Medusa said before she followed the archaeologist.
After arriving in the parking lot and finding his car, he soon put his luggage in the trunk and then he placed his briefcase onto the passenger seat.
As Osamu was about to close the door, someone called out to him.
"Nakamoto-san!" Osamu looked and saw Nitou running towards him.
"You're Nakamoto-san from the Asahina Archaeology Lab, right?" Nitou asked.
"H-Hai." Osamu said as he closed the door.
"I'm glad to meet you! Oh right!" Nitou said before he showed Osamu's picture in the newspaper. "I saw the newspaper. What a big discovery! Good job!" Nitou gave him a thumbs up.
Osamu was flattered to hear that.
"No…It's not that big a deal. I was just lucky." He said before he and Nitou walked forward before Osamu asked the young man a question. "By the way, who are you? A reporter?"
"A reporter? No, no, no." Nitou said as he waved his arm. "I'm actually studying to become an archaeologist."
Nitou then pointed at the relics in the newspaper that Osamu had discovered.
"I thought what you've found might belong to me." Nitou stated, and Osamu was stunned to hear that. "By mine I mean Chimera's. Chimera is this monster. This really looks similar. It went in me gaaa! And I totally went daaa! He's all golden. It's probably easier just to show you…"
While he wasn't looking, Osamu soon entered his car and drove away before he finally noticed that Osamu was now gone before he turned to the driveway.
As he was driving, Osamu eyed on his briefcase which contained the relics he found and wasn't to let someone else have them.
"Like I'd let you steal my prize…" Osamu said.
As he soon arrived at the exit, he soon saw a security car standing in his way as he waved his arms and a traffic stick. Osamu soon stops his car, he then rolls down his window as the guard moves towards him.
"Is there a problem?" Osamu asked before the guard stopped in front of the archaeologist.
"You mustn't do that. It's quite careless." He told him.
"Eh?" Osamu said in confusion.
The guard smiled at him and rested his stick on his shoulder.
"If you open your window too readily…" He said before he grabbed onto the car door. "Something terrible may happen to you!"
The guard tore off the door and threw it to the ground. He then drags Osamu out of the car as the archaeologist rolls on the ground.
The guard then grabs onto Osamu and is forced to stand up. He then transforms into a Phantom.
His body is dual colored with the right side being dark blue and his left was colored white. His right side also had red markings on the torso, arm, and head while the left had gold markings. He also had a gold-colored piece on the center of his chest with a red dot. He also had red eyes with a silver mouthpiece. On his shoulders were two gold and pointed firearm pieces on his back.
This is the Phantom, Spriggan.
"See?!" Spriggan said as Osamu screams in fear. "Now fall to despair and give birth to a Phantom!"
Nitou soon arrived and saw Spriggan holding onto Osamu.
"He's a Gate?!" Nitou said.
Nitou soon jumps and kicks on Spriggan, forcing him to let go of Osamu as he moves away from him before he falls on his rear.
Nitou lands on his feet and charges at Spriggan to fight him.
Koyomi could hear Garuda crying out in her crystal as she saw the Phantom attacking Osamu.
"A Phantom!" Koyomi said as Shido, Tohka, and Rinne poke out their heads from Wajima's workshop.
Nitou kicks at Spriggan twice but he dodges the first one while the second kick doesn't do much damage.
Spriggan then punches on Nitou twice, sending Nitou rolling towards Osamu before he stops. Nitou then stood up on his hands and knees as he faced Spriggan.
"Since we have this chance, Nakamoto-san, look at my belt." Nitou told the archaeologist before he scans his Ring on his Driver.
[DRIVER ON]
"Eh?" Osamu said in confusion before Nitou stood up and that's when he saw the Beast Driver.
Nitou then raises his Beast Ring before he assumes his pose.
"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou said before he inserted his Ring into his Driver.
[SET, O~PEN! L-I-O-N: LION]
When the gate open, Osamu saw the lion symbol on Nitou's belt as he transforms.
"This lion is…!"
As Osamu moved closer to Beast to look at his Driver, Beast and Spriggan faced each other.
"Inishie no Mahōtsukai? Can you defeat me, Spriggan-sama?!" Spriggan said.
Beast soon notices Osamu was close to his belt as he studies its appearance before he moves around the archaeologist.
"Sorry, I haven't devoured mana in a while. You're perfect for lunchtime!" Beast said before he charged at Spriggan to battle him.
As Beast and Spriggan were fighting, Osamu used this chance to rush to his car to get something.
Beast kicks at Spriggan three times, the Phantom blocks the first two before he catches the third kick and throws Beast to the ground.
Osamu opens his briefcase showing the relics inside of plastic bags. He then picks up the ring as the lion on it was indeed similar to Beast's Driver.
"They're similar." Osamu said.
Beast jumps on the wall and lands a kick on Spriggan as he stumbles back. Beast then turns to Osamu.
"Right? That's why that's m-" Beast said as Spriggan lands a shoulder ram on him sending Beast to a wall and Spriggan begins to punch on him.
"Where and when did he get that?! It is related to this item I excavated?!" Osamu said as he picked up and looked at the larger stone relic.
Spriggan lands another punch on Beast before he grabs the Primordial Mage's collar and throws him to the car as Beast lands onto it before he rolls and falls to the ground.
Spriggan huffed as he placed his hands on his hips.
"How careless!" He said before he charges up his firearm-like weapons to attack.
But flying towards Spriggan was Wizard in Hurricane Style as he stops in front of the Phantom and slashes Spriggan with his sword as he spun like a tornado.
Wizard lands on the ground to land two more slashes on Spriggan followed with a kick forcing him to stumble back.
"That goes for you too!" Wizard told the Phantom.
"Hey, Shido!" Beast said as he sat up.
"I know! Say no more!" Wizard quotes as he changes his sword to a gun and points his finger at Beast. "You want to say he's your prey, right?"
Wizard soon fires at Spriggan, but the Phantom blocks it as he brings out his shield and uses it. As Beast stood up he soon put on his Buffa Ring.
"If you get it, then back off!" Beast said before he walked to Wizard and pushed his arms down to make him stop firing.
Beast soon inserts his Ring into his Driver.
[BUFFA, GO: BU-BU-BUBUBU BUFFA]
Beast runs through a magic circle to wear his Buffa Mantle as he charges at Spriggan, Wizard soon changes his gun back into a sword.
"Sure." Wizard said before he followed Beast.
Beast soon brings out his Dice Saber, Spriggan soon pulls out his longsword from his shield to parry Beast's slash and blocks an incoming slash from Wizard with his shield.
Spriggan swings his sword at Wizard, and he dodges it, just as Beast was about to attack the Phantom, Spriggan swings his sword at him which Beast dodges by stepping back.
Spriggan dodges another slash from Wizard and parries another slash using his own sword.
As Spriggan continued to dodge and parry Wizard and Beast's attacks, he was forced to move away from Osamu as both Riders followed the Phantom as they kept on attacking him.
Using the Fraxinus teleporter, Tohka, Yoshino, Rinne, and Mikie soon arrived. Rinne soon spotted Osamu as she pointed at him.
"There he is!" Rinne said before Tohka runs to the archaeologist and soon grabs onto him.
"Come on, this way!" Tohka told him as she was about to run with Osamu, but the archaeologist refused to move.
"Wait! I've just made a big historical discovery!" Osamu told her.
"We'll talk later! Let's go!" Tohka said as she forced Osamu to stand and move towards her friends which made him drop the two relics in his hands.
Osamu screams in worry before he pushes Tohka off of him and runs to his relics.
"What are you doing?! We need to run!" Rinne told him as Osamu knelt down and grabbed onto the relics.
"Come on!" Mikie said as she and Tohka grabbed onto the archaeologist. "You'll worry about that later!"
They soon made Osamu stand up and run away with Tohka and Mikie as they moved towards their friends. Unknown to them is that Gremlin was watching from above the parking lot building.
"Oh? What an interesting thing he has there." Gremlin said as he looked at the relics in Osamu's hands.
Mikie then placed a bag over Osamu's head to prevent him from seeing anything. Yoshino then changes to her limited Astral Dress and Yoshinon changes into Zadkiel.
Tohka and Mikie placed Osamu on top of Zadkiel's back and Mikie soon sat beside him as she held onto Osamu.
"We're ready, Yoshino-chan!" Mikie said.
"Alright…hang on…" Yoshino said before Zadkiel jumps and flies in the air as Osamu screams as he holds onto his relics tightly.
"Waaahhh! What's going on?!" Osamu said in fear.
"Just hang on! It will be over soon!" Mikie told him.
Tohka soon changes into her limited Astral Dress as she grabs onto Rinne before they fly into the air and follow Yoshino and the others.
As Spriggan rolled on the ground to avoid a double slash from Wizard and Beast, he soon saw Osamu being taken away by the Riders' allies.
"Tch! He got away?" Spriggan said in frustration.
"All that's left is for me to devour you!" Beast said before he threw his Saber to his left hand, he spun the dice and inserted his Buffa Ring into it.
[FOUR: BUFFA SABER STRIKE]
Both Beast and Wizard assumed their stance as a magic circle appeared in front of the former as he swung his Saber sending four energy buffas at Spriggan.
Spriggan manages to withstand Beast's attacks using his shield, surprising both Riders before he shatters the last buffa by swinging his shield.
"I have no business with mages!" Spriggan said before he fires blue energy blasts with his shoulder cannons which exploded in front of Wizard and Beast sending both Riders rolling on the ground.
As Beast and Wizard stood back up, they soon saw that Spriggan was now gone.
"Eh? Huh?!" Beast said before he runs forward and whines that Spriggan had got away.
"Now then…what should I do?" Gremlin said before he chuckles.
After the Riders had met up with their friends, Shido and his friends were now standing on a playground with Osamu where they told the archaeologist the situation, he was now in.
"...so Nakamoto-san. I'd like to protect you." Shido told him.
But Osamu wasn't paying attention as he was busy looking at Nitou's Ring to closely examine it.
"So you excavated this?" Osamu said.
Nitou in turn was looking at the Ring that was in Osamu's hand as they circled around.
"This ring really looks similar." Nitou said.
"There are similarities in the craftsmanship. It might be from the same culture, or even the same craftsman." Osamu said.
"I want to plug in that ring…" Nitou said.
As both Nitou and Osamu continued to examine their respective Rings, Shido and the others were watching them. Rinne chuckles to see that.
"I guess they're so focused on their Rings, they're not even listening." Rinne said.
"They're both lost in their discoveries." Mikie said.
Having had enough of this, Shido walked to Osamu and spoke to him.
"I understand how you feel, but this is no time to be circling each other!" Shido then grabs onto Osamu and makes the archaeologist look at him. "Nakamoto-san? Come with us to Omokagedou."
While he wasn't looking, Nitou quickly pulled the relics out his hands to study them himself, Osamu soon noticed as Nitou pulled the larger one out of its plastic bag.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" Osamu said as he ran to Nitou and grabbed onto his artifacts to pull them out of Nitou's hands as he held onto them.
"Instead of wasting time thinking about this, it'd be faster to just use it!" Nitou said before Osamu managed to pull the artifacts out of his hands.
"This is my research! Don't touch it without permission!" Osamu told him.
"I want to investigate it too!" Nitou said before he stood up. "It might be useful to me. Get it?"
Osamu thought about it before he looks down at Nitou's belt, he soon had an idea as he smiles at the young man in front of him.
"Fine. If you let me analyze your findings, then I'll let you look at this. What do you think?" Osamu asked.
"Fine. I'm on board." Nitou nodded.
"Alright. Then come with me to my lab." Osamu said as he walked away with Nitou following before they stopped as Shido spoke to them.
"Oh well. Guess we're going to the lab too."
"Alright." Tohka said as they were about to follow them.
"You kids don't need to come." Osamu told them, confusing them. "Actually, I'd prefer you didn't."
"Huh?" Shido and his friends said.
"A bunch of amateurs wandering around would interfere, I think." Osamu said before he walked away.
"No, that's not-" Shido said as he was about to follow the archaeologist, but Nitou stopped him as he raised his hand.
"It's fine! It's fine! I'll be with him." Nitou said before he placed an arm on Shido's shoulders. "If the Phantom shows up, I'll gobble him down."
Osamu stops as he turns to Nitou before he calls out to him.
"What are you doing, Nitou-kun?! Come on!"
Nitou then patted Shido's shoulder.
"Leave it to me." Nitou told him before he left and followed Osamu, leaving Shido and the others a bit concerned right now.
(Meanwhile)
After the Gate had gotten away, Spriggan had met up with Medusa under a bridge and gave his report.
"I see. So he got away?" Medusa said.
"I'll find him soon enough. Anyway, Medusa, should we really be focusing on the Gates? Shouldn't we defeat those damn mages first?" Spriggan asked.
Medusa thought about it, but despite the fact that there was some logic in defeating Wizard and Beast first, her master's will is absolute to her.
"Don't worry about it." Medusa said as she turned to Spriggan. "That is Wiseman's will.
(With Nitou)
Nitou and Osamu had arrived at the Asahina Archaeology Lab. The pair were now in Osamu's private lab.
Nitou was gently dusting on a relic vase while looking at it with a magnifying glass, and Osamu was taking pictures of the relics he found with his camera before he turned his attention to the Beast Driver which was on the table.
Osamu took a few pictures of the Driver before he lowered his camera as he thought about the belt's design.
"What does this pattern mean?" Osamu said with Nitou looking at him before he went back to dusting the vase. Osamu then realizes something as he closely examines the Driver and places a hand on it. "I see! It's a door!"
Osamu picks the Beast Driver up and places it on a metal tub and picks up one of his tools to force the door to open.
"H-H-Hey! What are you doing?!" Nitou said as he moved to Osamu.
"Can't you see? The lion relief inside here…" Osamu said as he struggled to open the Driver.
"You can't force it open!" Nitou told him, and Osamu stopped.
"Then what do we do?!" Osamu asked.
"I need to put the ring in here." Nitou told him.
"Then stop wasting time! Put it in already!" Osamu exclaimed at him.
"Then give me my belt back first!" Nitou exclaimed back as he picked up and put on his Driver.
"Hen-" Nitou waved his arms.
Not wanting to waste more time like this, Osamu grabs onto his left arm.
"Hey, hey!" Nitou said as Osamu managed to force him to move the Ring to his Driver.
"Hurry up!" Osamu said as he force inserted the Ring into the Driver.
[SET, O~PEN! L-I-O-N: LION]
Osamu steps back before the magic circle appears in front of him pushing the archaeologist further back as Nitou transforms into Beast.
Osamu then moved closer to Beast's open Driver as he took pictures of it. Beast was left wondering what to do before he did an animal-like pose.
"Gao."
Osamu ignores Beast as he continues to take pictures of his Driver before he does some more poses.
(With Shido)
After Shido and his friends had arrived at Omokagedou, Miku and the Yamai twins had arrived as well and Shido had told them what happened.
"Oh I see. But do you really think that Mayonnaise will handle it" Miku said.
"Concern: I find that worrisome as well." Yuzuru said.
"Who knows for sure." Shido said as he leaned on the couch.
"It'll probably be fine." Mikie said. "They're both archaeologists. They really seemed to hit it off."
"That actually makes me more worried." Shido told her.
Wajima then walked out of his workshop.
"Nitou-kun is searching for a way to live without devouring Phantoms, right? I'm glad for him." Wajima said.
That's when Kotori and Reine had arrived as they entered the antique shop.
"Nakamoto-san said he's an archaeologist, but apparently he hasn't had any achievements." Kotori siad.
"Oh. You looked into him?" Shido asked, and they nodded before they sat down on some chairs.
"He doesn't have much of a presence in the lab. He comes off as an assistant." Reine told them.
"Really? But he seemed so passionate about his work." Tohka said.
"That's why his excavation this time is a big chance for him." Kotori told them.
"So that's why he's so fired up." Shido said.
(Later at night)
Night had soon arrived in Tengu City, and most of the workers in the Asahina Archaeology Lab had left and gone home, except for Nitou and Osamu as the latter continued to study the Beast Driver along with the relics he found.
Gremlin had moved and hid behind a tree outside of the lab as he smiled and looked at it.
Osamu examines the ring he found.
"I suppose this ring-shaped item is probably a ring like his." Osamu said while Nitou was dusting his Beast Ring. Osamu then looks at the large stone relic. "Then that means…this is a belt!"
Nitou turns around as Osamu attempts to put the relic on like a belt.
"It's obviously not!" Nitou said.
"So it's not…" Osamu said before he put it back down and moved to the Beast Driver to put it on but Nitou stopped him as he stood up.
"Hey…Isn't it about time you let me touch it?" Nitou asked.
"Not yet! After my own research is complete!" Osamu said before he moved back to his own relics to study them some more.
Nitou smiled before he stood up.
"You're a passionate one, aren't ya?" Nitou said as he knows that feeling quite well himself. "Oh well."
Nitou attempted to lean on the shelf close to him but accidentally knocked some of the stuff on it to the floor.
Nitou quickly knelt down to them to pick them up.
"I'm sorry! Ow!" Nitou said before a book fell on his head.
But Osamu didn't notice that as he was too focused on the relics before he realized something.
"Wait a moment! There are some similarities with the Sumerian culture. I'm sure I have some documents…" Osamu says before he leaves the room and Nitou continues to clean up his mess.
The PlaMonsters Garuda, Kraken, and Unicorn had returned to Omokagedou after their long search for the Phantom.
Garuda and Kraken flew in front of their master, Shido.
"Thanks for scouting." Shido tells them before they move above the table while Unicorn jumps onto Koyomi's hand.
Then their bodies disappear leaving only their Rings behind, Tohka and Yoshino catch Garuda and Kraken's rings. Koyomi pets on Unicorn's head.
"Guess you didn't find the Phantom." Koyomi said before Unicorn jumped off her hand before his body disappeared and Kaguya caught the Ring.
"Man, for such little creatures they sure work hard." Kaguya said as she tapped on the Ring.
"I'll check on the Gate tomorrow." Shido said before he picked up his jacket.
"Hey, wait." Wajima said, making Shido and the others turn to him. "Before you go, take a look at this."
Wajima walked out of his workshop with a box in his hands as Golem was on top of it before the ring maker placed the box on the table showing it to Shido and the others.
The box was made of steel that is colored black with a silver top. On the center of the box was a symbol of a dragon's head that is colored gold with a red gem on the forehead, and on the top was Wizard's symbol.
"Golem created this treasure chest." Wajima told them before the said familiar jumps and climbs onto his shoulder and made a proud pose.
"Oh, really? That's amazing." Tohka said as she looked closely at the box.
Golem then jumps close to the box and extends his arms to open it, revealing eight ting slots on the other side of the cover, Golem then picks up Kraken's Ring before he jumps and places the said ring into one of the slots.
"You're amazing!" Shido said as Golem did the same with Garuda and Unicorn's Rings. "I didn't know you had a special skill like that."
"Now we're safe from thieves." Koyomi said before she pets Golem's head, making the purple PlaMonster blush before he jumps into the Wizard Ring Box and closes it.
"Oh, he got embarrassed." Shido siad.
Osamu had returned as he opened the door and saw Nitou had placed the fallen items back on the shelf. Nitou soon notices that he was back before he walks to the archaeologist.
"Hey, where did you go? I told you not to go out by yourself." Nitou told him.
"S-Sorry. How about a glass to celebrate this find?" Osamu asked as he showed a glass drink in his hand. "Oh, don't worry it's non-alcoholic."
"Hey! Why the change of heart?" Nitou asked as Osamu moved to pick up two cups and moved to the table.
"It looks like it'll be a long investigation." Osamu said as he put the cups on the table and began to open the bottle. "And I want to cooperate with you."
Osamu then begins to pour the glass drink into the cups. Nitou smiles when he hears that.
"So you can be understanding." Nitou said as he picked up his own, Osamu chuckled as he did the same. "Well, cheers then."
"Alright." Osamu said before they tap their cups together and drink the beverage.
After having a few more drinks, Nitou was now asleep as his head was on the table and was seated on the ground with his bottle of mayo in hand. Nitou smiles before he begins to talk in his sleep.
Osamu then placed a blanket on top of him and soon set his eyes on the Beast Driver.
(Next day)
Morning had soon arrived, Shido was running on his bike as he headed to the Asahina Archaeology Lab to see if Osamu is alright.
Nitou continues to sleep on the table before Osamu's scream wakes him up.
"A Phantom!"
Nitou jumps and stumbles for a bit before he turns to Osamu who had fallen on the floor as he looks at the open door.
"What?!" Nitou said before he turned to the open door.
He then raised his left hand and waved his arms.
"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou shouted as he strikes his pose, he then inserts his Ring into his Driver to transform but he somehow misses.
That's when Nitou saw that both his Driver and Ring were now missing.
"Whoa! Where's my belt?! Where's my Ring?!" Nitou said as he searched for his now missing items. "Eh?! Where are they?!"
"The Phantom stole them! It took my findings too!" Osamu said as he crawled to the table as his relics were missing as well.
"Eeeh?!" Nitou said before he stood up and turned to the door. "No way!"
Nitou then runs out of the room and moves down to the stairs to find the Phantom who stole his Driver and the relics.
Nitou soon arrived at the main room which was filled with fossils of prehistoric animals. Nitou looks around for the Phantom.
"Where'd it go?!" Nitou said before he heard a familiar voice.
"Hello~!"
Nitou looks and sees Gremlin waving at him before he skips forward.
"Looking for something?" Gremlin said before he stopped.
"So you're the culprit?!" Nitou said as he pointed at him.
"Dunno~! What are you talking about~!" Gremlin said as he turned around and shrugged.
"Don't play dumb! Give back my belt!" Nitou said before charges and kicks at Gremlin.
Gremlin dodges his kick and dodges a punch before he blocks another kick. Gremlin then lands his own kick on Nitou.
"You lost your belt!" Gremlin said.
"You punk!" Nitou said as he punches at Gremlin but he dodges it and lands a spin kick on Nitou sending him to the ground.
Nitou sat up and looked at Gremlin.
"So this means this is my chance to beat you." Gremlin said as he changed into his Phantom form.
Gremlin then runs at Nitou and attacks him.
Osamu continues to look at the door before he moves to a certain spot in his lab, that's when he hears a familiar voice.
"How careless." Osamu turned around and saw Spriggan standing behind him. "Be sure to lock your doors."
Spriggan then transforms into his Phantom form and Osamu screams in fear before Spriggan grabs onto his neck to choke him. As Osamu struggles to break free, Spriggan then moves him to the table.
Then flying into the room were silver bullets as they flew and hit on Spriggan's body, forcing the Phantom to let go of Osamu as he stumbled back while Osamu fell on his rear.
Shido, armed with his gun and wearing his Driver, soon runs into the room.
"Damn it. I'm glad I came to check." Shido said before he flipped the switches on his Driver.
[SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN]
Shido soon puts on his Water Style Ring.
"Henshin." Shido said before he flips down the Ring's visor and scans it on his Driver.
[WATER, PLEASE: SUI SUI SUI SUI]
Shido soon transforms into Wizard Water Style, he then jumps over the table and lands in front of Osamu.
Spriggan then punches at Wizard twice, Wizard dodges the first punch and blocks the second with his arms before he grabs onto the Phantom and pushes him on the wall.
Wizard then turns to Osamu.
"Quickly, outside!" Wizard told the archaeologist.
Osamu nodded before he stood up and ran away.
Spriggan manages to push Wizard's hand off of his body, Wizard lands a kick on Spriggan, he then counters by punching at Wizard but he parries it and lands an elbow on Spriggan.
Wizard then dodges another punch from Spriggan, and then Phantom fires with his shoulder cannons which he dodges in time.
"Stop!" Spriggan shouted as he chased after Osamu.
Wizard soon stood up and followed Spriggan while changing Rings.
Osamu is now outside and continues to run, but Spriggan soon jumps down and lands in front of the archaeologist to block his path, a frightened Osamu falls on his rear as Spriggan walks to him.
Spriggan chuckles before he sees Wizard jumping down towards him as he scans his Liquid Ring on his Driver.
[LIQUID, PLEASE]
Wizard transforms his body into water as he now moves around Spriggan's body before the Phantom falls to the ground and Wizard's body solidifies as he pulls on Spriggan's leg in a submission hold as he taps on the ground.
Wizard then saw Nitou rolling on the ground.
"Nitou! What are you doing?!" Wizard asked as Nitou stood up and dodged a sword slash from Gremlin.
Gremlin then thrusts his other sword at the powerless Nitou, he dodges it and grabs onto the green Phantom's arm but Gremlin pulls his arm back and kicks on Nitou before he dodges another slash from Gremlin.
Spriggan manages to pull his leg free and rolls on his back and lands a kick on Wizard forcing him to stumble back.
Spriggan then stood up on his knee and foot as he turned to Gremlin.
"Gremlin? Why are you here?" Spriggan asked.
Gremlin blocks Nitou's kick with his own leg before he punches at him, but Gremlin dodges it and pushed Nitou to the nearby stone fence and sat down on his back as he turns to Spriggan.
"Come now. Call me Sora. I'm here to help you, after all!" Gremlin told him as Nitou struggled to push him off of his back.
"Move!" Nitou said as he slams his elbow on Gremlin.
Gremlin chuckles as he stands up and picks Nitou up as he stands on his feet, Gremlin then uses that moment to kick on his back sending Nitou to the ground as he lands close to Wizard.
"Are you okay?" Wizard said as he knelt down to Nitou.
Nitou stood up on his knee and foot.
"I'm in trouble. He stole my belt and ring!" Nitou told him.
"Huh? Seriously?!" Wizard said in shock while Osamu had a worried look on his face.
Both Spriggan and Gremlin charge at Wizard and Nitou to attack them, Wizard blocks a kick from Spriggan while Nitou dodges a slash from Gremlin.
Nitou grabs onto Gremlin's arm while Wizard rolls on the ground. As Wizard battles Spriggan, Gremlin then pushes the Driverless Nitou off of him, Nitou dodges a few more sword slashes from Gremlin as he moves on top of the stone fence.
Gremlin slashes at Nitou again, he dodges and kicks on the Phantom's back but Gremlin doesn't even feel that before he turns at Nitou and slashes at him forcing Nitou to dodge it.
Gremlin then slashes at Nitou several times and Nitou dodges them by backflipping away from the green Phantom. When Nitou lands on his feet, Gremlin throws a double slash at Nitou with both of his swords, and Nitou dodges them by ducking under.
Then when Nitou turns back at Gremlin, he ducks under another slash from Gremlin as he stumbles and falls on the stone fence. Nitou then sat up and looked at the two Phantoms in front of him.
"How can this be?! They're two Phantoms right before my eyes…but I can't devour them without my belt!" Nitou said as he looked at his exposed waist, he then dodged another slash from Gremlin forcing Nitou to stand up.
"That must be awful for you!" Gremlin said before Nitou grabs onto his arm but Gremlin slams his knee on him.
Wizard soon changes to his Flame Style Ring before he flips the Driver's switches and scans the Ring on it.
[FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI]
As Wizard changes into his Flame Style, he flips the Driver's switches once again to scan his Connect Ring.
[CONNECT, PLEASE]
As Wizard brings out his sword, Spriggan in turn brings out his sword and shield before he and Wizard clash their swords.
Wizard ducks under an incoming sword slash from Spriggan, Wizard then spun his sword to slash at Spriggan but he dodges them and thrust his sword at Wizard which he parries in time before he kicks at Spriggan but he blocks his kick with his shield.
Spriggan then slashes at Wizard again and he dodges it by jumping backwards. When Wizard lands on his knee and foot, he thrusts his sword at Spriggan.
Gremlin jumps and lands a reverse spin kick on Nitou's face sending him to the ground, when Nitou lands on his back he begins to groan.
Wizard notices this as he turns to the injured Nitou.
"Nitou!" Wizard said as he was about to move in and help his friend, but Spriggan stopped him by slashing his chest before they clashed and locked their blades.
"How careless of you to look away!" Spriggan said before he pushed Wizard's sword back and slash on his chest followed with a kick forcing Wizard to stumble back.
Spriggan then turns his sights on Osamu before he moves to the fearful archaeologist as he chuckles.
"Nakamoto-san!" Wizard said as he stood up to help him, but Gremlin got in his way as he blocked a slash from the green Phantom.
Wizard parries another slash from Gremlin before blocking a double slash.
Wizard soon resets his Driver and scans his Connect Ring on it.
[CONNECT, PLEASE]
Wizard manages to push Gremlin aside before a magic circle appears in front of him and another appears next to Spriggan, Wizard then thrusts his sword into which appeared in the second magic circle as it hits Spriggan's chest forcing him to stumble away from Osamu.
When Wizard pulls his arm and sword back, he soon dodges another slash from Gremlin before he blocks his next slash with his sword.
"Quick, run!" Wizard told the archaeologist before he pushed Gremlin back.
"U-Understood!" Osamu said as he stood up and ran away.
But a Ghoul stood in his way as he hit on it before he stood back and looked at the Ghoul in fear. Osamu was about to run into the building but more Ghouls began to appear around the archaeologist preventing him from going anywhere. Wizard soon notices this.
"Damn it!"
Wizard about to move in and help, but Gremlin stops him as Wizard parries two sword slashes from the green Phantom.
The Ghouls had cornered Osamu to the wall before Spriggan stood up.
"Got to make sure things are secured." Spriggan said before he charged at Wizard.
As Wizard dodges another attack from Gremlin, he quickly parries an incoming from Spriggan as both Phantoms begin to attack Wizard together.
Nitou soon sat up.
"Give back…my belt!" Nitou said before he stood up and ran to Gremlin's back to jump onto the green Phantom's back. "Give it back!"
"You're so heavy!" Gremlin said before he throws Nitou off of him as he falls to the ground.
Wizard was in a bladed lock against Spriggan before he saw that Nitou was in trouble. He then pushed Spriggan back and quickly changed to his Flame Dragon Ring, Wizard resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.
[FLAME, DRAGON: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou]
Wizard runs forward as he changes into his Dragon Style, he then slashes on Gremlin's side and turns in front of the green Phantom to protect Nitou.
Wizard then blocks two slashes from Gremlin's swords, Wizard parries another attack from Gremlin's sword and ducks under the next slash before Gremlin lands a slash on Wizard's chest, sending Wizard to the ground.
Gremlin then turns his attention back to the Driverless Nitou as he chuckles, Gremlin then walks to Nitou and kicks on his face sending Nitou rolling on the ground before Gremlin jumps over Nitou and places one of his swords to his neck.
"When the primordial mage can't use magic, he's just extra baggage." Gremlin said as he knelt down to Nitou.
"What was that?!" Nitou said before Gremlin stomps his foot on his stomach making Nitou groan.
Wizard soon stood up, but before he could help Nitou, Spriggan got in his way as he dodged a slash from him before the Phantom blocks Wizard's sword thrust with his shield and soon slashes at Wizard as he blocks it with his sword.
"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai, watch as the Gate falls to despair from the threat of death!" Spriggan told him before Wizard blocked another slash from his sword.
Wizard turns to Osamu as the Ghouls slowly move towards him. Wizard pushes Spriggan's sword back and turns to Osamu.
"Nakamoto-san!" Wizard said as he was about to run towards Osamu to help, but Spriggan prevented him as Wizard was forced to dodge and parry his attacks.
Gremlin continues to chuckle as Nitou struggles to remove his foot on his stomach. Spriggan manages to push Wizard to a nearby wall before he lands a slash on his chest.
Osamu gasps in fear before two Ghouls cross their spears in front of him.
Nitou groans as he still continues to struggle to break free while Spriggan forces Wizard to fall on his knee.

(You need a time machine?) (As the songs start, Shido was seen riding on his Machine Winger on the road before he sped up.)
(Suki darake no kao narabete itsumo to onaji hanashi shite) (Then the scene changes to Tohka sleeping as her memories with Shido appear in the background. Then changes to a sleeping Yoshino as her memories with Shido appear.)
(Terebi no naka hīrō ga mirai no tame ni isogashisō) (Then changes to sleeping Kotori as her memories with Shido appear in the background. Then to a sleeping Kurumi as her memories with Shido appear.)
(Hoka ni wa nai igokochi ga aru yo) (Then changes to a sleeping Kaguya and Yuzuru as their memories with Shido appear. Then it changes to a sleeping Miku as her memories with Shido appear.)
(Mai aru nā hitori ga suki datta noni mō modorenai) (Shido was seen sleeping on a grassy field before he wakes up and saw his friends were standing in front of them before Tohka offered her hand to him and Shido smiles as he grabs her hand as he stood up, before they run on the field together before WizarDragon appeared in the sky as it flew above them.)
(Taai no nai jikan o wakeai! Ureshī yo toka sabishī yo toka…Nitamono dōshi dakara iwanai) (Then it changes to Shido and his friends going shopping together for food, stylish clothes, and looking at certain items in front of the store window.)
(Bōken eiga to wa tōi mainichi ni! Akireru yōna afureru yōna! Omoidashi warai ga tsudzukimasu yōni…) (Then it changes to Shido and his friends in a water park with some playing in the pool splashing water at each other, while some riding on the water slides, and some were just sunbathing.)
({Instrumental} You need a time machine?) (Then changes to Shido riding on his motorcycle once again before he speeds up and the screen changes to his back as he drives to parts unknown.)
