Phase 2: Village Melee
The trio head off to be very close to the village to see a gate that has severed heads on the pikes on top. "Oh, that is ghastly," Makoto said for the smell is filling up their noses.
"These are fresh," Ark said as Leon begins to open the door to struggle at first to be able to open it. Then the heads fall onto the ground as Makoto backs away from this. "
"Goodness, so gross," Makoto said.
'They lose their minds," Leon said as they go down the path to get begin a set of crates to see the second cop pinned to a cross in the middle of the village. "Speaking of which," Leon said pulling out his binoculars to see the second cop begging for his life. The villagers set him on fire as he is screaming while being burned alive.
"Hunnigan, we found the last guy and they are burning him to death," Makoto said as Hunnigan sighs.
"Gee, this is getting more complex by the minute," Hunnigan said.
"Hunnigan, can you dig anything about these guys?" Leon asked.
"Well, I will check the local sources. Stay alive out there," Hunnigan said as she cuts off the radio.
"We need to make a path," Leon said as Makoto noticed a tower nearby.
"I am going over there to set up in that to give you guys covering fire. Good luck you two. Kiss for luck as well," Makoto said kissing his cheek for her to move into the village to sneak around.
"Lucky dog," Ark said as the two men take out their weapons to be ready to get into position to shoot at the villagers.
Makoto is sneaking through a house with her tanto dagger out to see a villager with his back turned to her. "Big mistake," Makoto thought as she grabs him to carve out his throat to silence him to gently place him down on the floor.
She continues to go through the house to see two more villagers wandering around. She sneaks behind one to stab her through the throat to place her on the ground to avoid noise. She goes for the next target to stab through his head to put him down.
"House cleared up," she thought as she slowly opens the door to go back outside to get behind a crate to let two villagers pass by. She is very close to the tower to slice the throats of villagers who she goes near. She hides them in the hay so the infected will not see them.
She sneaks into the tower to begin climbing the ladder. "Boys, I am in the tower. I will be giving you sniper support," Makoto said on the radio to be on top to see a good amount of the small village section. "Perfect," Makoto pulls out her R700 to adjust the scope to fit her preference to wait for Leon and Ark to engage in a fight.
"Good, let's get the red carpet treatment," Leon said.
"Yeah can't wait for that," Ark said as Leon goes first to blast the head off a villager.
"The Americans, get them for Lord Saddler," a male said in Spanish as everyone begins to attack the two men.
"Here we go," Leon uses Silver Ghost to pop them in the knees to kick each of them across the dirt. Some of their necks were broken by the hard impact.
Ark uses his M1911 to shoot a villager in the head to stun him and Ark goes in to perform a neck snap easily killing the infected man.
Makoto takes aim and clips off the head of a female villager. She cycles another round into the chamber of the R700 to begin giving sniper support. She is popping heads around the two men as they are kicking, shooting, and blocking hits from their melee weapons with her knifing skills.
"Not so fast," Leon blocks away a charging pitchfork with his knife and delivers a strong roundhouse kick to knock the infected civilian onto the ground. He follows up with a knife that dives into the back of his head killing him. Someone tosses an ax with Leon deflects it with his Silver Ghost via pistol whip.
Leon rolls away from a charging infected as he fires his pistol to put rounds into a few heads knocking villagers down.
Ark blocks the ax to deliver a powerful punch to slam into the woman's head to send her flying onto the ground. He stomps onto her head with his booted foot to crush it. Ark is using both his bowie and pistol in each hand. He is blasting away with his M1911 and craving away with his Bowie Knife.
"Gee, there are so many of them,' Makoto said on the radio to put accurate shots into the heads of infected villagers.
"Quick into that house," Leon said as he switches to his shotgun to knock back several enemies killing a few of them.
"Right behind you," Ark said as he follows behind for the two guys to enter the house. They barricade the door for them to look outside to see them planning something.
"Gee, what are they planning out there?" Leon asked.
"It can't be good," Ark said as Makoto hear a chainsaw in the distance to notice a large villager wielding a blood-soaked chainsaw and his head covered in a dirty sack with holes showing his blood-colored eyes.
"Goodness, this is so crazy. We got a guy coming in with a chainsaw," Makoto said.
"Gee, you got to be shitting me," Leon said as they are basing against the windows. Ark and Leon are blocking the windows with bookcases but they are still slamming through the openings trying to get to the two men.
They see the chainsaw man using his tool to begin slicing up the blocked door. "Upstairs," Ark said as the duo go up the stairs to be on the second floor. Ark noticed a weapon on a desk which is a MAC-10 along with magazines filled with .45 ACP ammo.
"What is a machine pistol doing here?" Leon wondered as it is very strange a bunch of civilians would be using a pocket machine pistol here.
"Lucky for us," Ark takes the machine pistol for the door and windows bust open below with the chainsaw man and villagers swarming up the stairs. "Eat lead," Ark unloads the machine pistol to spit out rapid-fire tearing through the group of enemies dropping them onto the floor but the Chainsaw Man is unfazed by the wave of bullets.
"Quite the unit this got is," Leon said as he finds some frag grenades on the bed to toss one down the stairs. The group gets destroyed by the blast but the Chainsaw Man got sent flying onto the wall but still keeps going.
"Time to go," Ark said as they leap through the window to be on the roof. Leon kicks a woman off the roof to crash into a bear trap crushing her skull on impact. Ark blasts the legs of a villager to slice up his neck with his bowie knife. They see the Chainsaw Man coming out of the door with bloodlust in his red eyes heading for the duo with a chainsaw above his head.
"You keep coming," Leon said as he use his shotgun to fire buckshot into the large villager to only stun him.
Makoto fires shots into the head of the Chainsaw Man to knock him down. "Get off the roof," Makoto said as she noticed villagers carrying dynamite trying to blow up the tower she is on. "Oh shit," she turns her attention onto the villagers holding explosives to blast them one at a time.
She managed to shoot the stick of dynamite to trigger an explosion which has taken out a group of enemies. "Guys, I need to focus on defending my position. You are on your own for now. Sorry," Makoto said as she is trying to defend herself while Leon and Ark are moving away from the mad enemy.
"Don't worry about it, keep safe," Leon said.
"Okay babe, don't die," Makoto said.
"Hey, it's me remember," Leon said as she sighs at this.
"That makes me more worried," Makoto said as she fires at the incoming villagers trying to stop them from blowing up the tower she is in. She hears her bolt action rifle clicking empty to open up the bolt to slip in bullets into the built-in magazine.
She is holding her own against the mob of infected with Leon and Ark leaping onto the ground to go into a shack to see a cow. Leon has an idea for the mob of villagers and the Chainsaw Man is right behind them.
He aims his pistol to fire at a lamp hanging on the ceiling to make it fall to see the shack on fire making the cow rush out and mow down the crowd and the Chainsaw Man. All the villagers were killed and Chainsaw Man took some damage.
"Hope they like their beef well done," Leon said as he and Ark rush over to another house. Ark takes a bear trap to place it by the door. They wait until they open the door but one of the villagers gets caught in it blocking the other path. Leon lines up his shotgun blasts to catch them in a deadly volley killing a bunch of enemies and knocking back the Chainsaw Man.
Ark is firing a full magazine of rounds into the body of the Chainsaw Man but he is still standing weakening the human-shaped monster. Leon fires a shot to knock him onto the ground so they to keep going to exit through a door. One of the villagers tosses a stick of dynamite for the duo to split away to escape the explosion. A villager grabs Leon from behind putting him in an arm lock trying to get Chainsaw Man to kill Leon when he is vulnerable.
"Oh no you don't," Makoto aims her R700 sniper rifle to strike the head of the Chainsaw Man to stun and deliver a powerful strike with the bullet. Leon pulls the villager over his shoulder to knock him into the big brute. He delivers a kick to push the Chainsaw Man back.
"Thanks," Leon said as he fires several shots into the big villager to do some damage.
"No problem," Makoto fires the remaining villagers to stop them from blowing up the tower. "That is a relief, time to support the guys," she thought as she reloads her rifle to begin giving support again taking down any nearby infected who can be a threat to the duo.
Ark pulls out the stock of the MAC-10 to begin peppering the crowd of villagers with bullets taking them down. Makoto shoots the Chainsaw Man in the chest to stun him as both Leon and Ark use kicks to slam into his chest to knock him down. Makoto follows up with a few more shots into the guy's head until the Chainsaw Man dies on the ground.
"Oh finally, that big brute is dead," Leon said as they fend off the horde until they ring a bell rang in the distance.
Suddenly all the villagers stop in their tracks to hear the church bell. The trio looks on with bewilderment to see the villagers chanting in Spanish as they completely ignore them to walk towards a certain building to close the door behind them.
Leon shrugs his shoulders to look around to see no one but the trio left. "Where is everyone going, Bingo," Leon joked but was still confused about what is going on here.
"Gee I miss fighting zombies. They are predictable at least," Makoto said as Leon is inside the tower getting ready to catch. "Catch me, babe," she said as Leon is prepared to catch her. She falls and gets caught by Leon's arms.
"I got you," Leon said as she kisses him on the lips.
"My hero," she said playfully as Leon smiles to gently get her onto her feet.
"Okay princess dust-up, we need to make a plan," Leon said.
"Alright, they went through that door but it's locked," Makoto said.
"Well, we need a key to unlock it," Ark said as he can see the door is quite thick and not moving an inch.
"Well, there is a bunch of farmlands nearby. You should check things there," Hunnigan said.
"Yeah time to peace with the cows," Leon said as the trio head off to the gate which leads them into the farmlands.
