Phase 4: Farmlands Pt 2
They see a general area that has several tall barriers which block certain areas. "Quite a little place they got here," Makoto said as they noticed villagers tending to their chickens and cows.
"We need to clean them out before finding a way through those tall barriers," Leon said.
"Right," Ark said as one of the villagers noticed the three Americans.
"Do not let them near the traitor. Kill them all for Chief Mendez," one of the villagers said as he tosses sticks of dynamite at them.
Leon spots it to shoot the stick of explosive in mid-air with his Silver Ghost to blow it up in the villager's face turning him into a pile of gore. The chickens flee from the gunshots as the infected villagers begin to assault the trio.
"Enough of this," Leon fires his pistol into the knees of the villager to kick her into a wagon to get gored with one of the handles. "Stick around," Leon said.

"Shut up," Leon said as he ducks under a tossed ax to fire a few shots into the villager's head to put him down.
Ark fires his MAC-10 to pepper a group of infected people to kill them off as he goes into the barn to pull out the stock to focus on putting concise shots into the heads of the infected villagers.
He kicks down a nearby villager trying to cut him up with an axe. "Not so fast," Ark said as he sees a villager on top of a barn tossing down sticks of dynamite. Ark rolls away to avoid the blasts with Makoto aiming her revolver to put a magnum round through the villager's chest to knock him down onto the ground breaking his neck.
"Oh shit," Makoto said as the fallen villager gets back up with his neck broken to rush at Makoto to fire a few more shots to make him fall into the dirt face first.
Leon trips up an infected to stab him with his knife through the neck to kill him to clear up the area. One of the villagers contacts the chief. "Sir, they are getting close to the traitor's location," the villager said on the radio.
"Don't worry my child. The foreigners will be dealt with by Cerberus, the guard dog who is protecting Luis Sera. She will take care of them," Mendez said.
"Yes Lord Mendez, they will be ripped to pieces by her mighty jaws," the villager said with an evil laugh to let them alone to leave them to their fate.
Leon, Makoto, and Ark finished their fight to hear nothing but chickens and cows moving around. "This doesn't feel like right," Leon said.
"Yeah man, too quiet here," Ark said as Makoto looks through the scope of her rifle to see no infected villagers or canines nearby.
"I don't see anyone here. We need to get over that large barrier blocking the path to the door," Makoto said as they move around to grab some things behind heading for the barn which connects to the barrier.
"Seems like a normal life here," Leon said as he sees piles of hay getting ready to be used to feed cows.
"Yep, pretty good set up here but now it descends into madness," Makoto said.
"Pretty sad really but we can't dwell on that now. We need to find this guy and get info on Ashley's whereabouts," Leon said as they get up a ladder to get onto the second floor to hop through a window to get on the roof which is connected to the barrier. They walk up the platform to see down below a bunch of bear traps all over the front of the gate.
"Gee, that is inconvenient," Makoto said as she holds up her revolver to fire at the traps to pop them with precise shots. "Let me quickly get rid of these," Makoto said.
"Kind of reminds me of you training up your skills in the early days," Leon said.
"Oh yeah, I join the group a while after you join in 98," Makoto said as she remembers the early days of her training in the US-STRATCOM group in 2001.
-Flashback Begins-
Leon and Makoto are in the gun range for the duo to meet up with Anya. "Well Makoto, this is Anya who is an old soviet markswoman and she is very well experienced against BOWs," Leon said as Anya gives the young woman a handshake.
"Good to meet you, Makoto. You are one of the newest members of our group," she said as she looks excited.
"Yes and I want to prove myself," Makoto said as Anya finds her bright personality pretty cute.
"Cool, I will set up the moving targets and you line them up with your shots," Anya said as she sets up the targets on the range moving in all sorts of directions. Leon and Anya are training Makoto on how to use ranged weapons better.
"Well Mako, time to better your aiming," Leon said as Makoto looks at the targets blazing across the range. Leon hands her a P99 pistol to place it in her hands as Makoto nods her head.
"Makes sense, teach me how to shoot more precisely," Makoto said as Leon playfully pats her on the shoulder.
"That's my girl," Leon said as Makoto draws out her 9mm pistol. She aims for both Anya and Leon and noticed her shooting stance was off.
"You need some work," Anya said as Leon holds onto her slender waist trying to fix her stance. Leon and Anya are seeing Makoto taking shots as he is giving her pointers to adjust her stance while still holding her waist and moving her thighs.
"Okay, just like this," Leon said as he checks out her sexy blue bodysuit fitting her curvaceous figure.
Makoto can feel his strong hands holding her waist and her thighs for she adores his firm touches as well as his light caresses which made her skin shiver in delight.
"Oh, so handsome," she whispered as she finishes her session with her pistol.
"Good, now try out some weapons and see how you do," Leon said as Anya drags out a crate of weapons from their armory. Anya pulls out a couple of LR-300 assault carbines to pull back the adjustable stock and focus on her rifle's combat scope.
"These types of rifles are standard issues for any army. It combines speed, accuracy, and range in a compact package," Anya said as she aims with her LR-300 carbine to put rapid shots into the moving targets with ease.
Makoto takes her weapon to begin putting rounds into the targets didn't do as well as Anya did.
"You will get better, just need practice," Leon said as Makoto nods to try to improve her score on the firing range. Within a few tries, she manages to do 15% better than last time.
"Good work," Anya said as she switches to a new weapon AWM Sniper Rifle. She aims to fire a large bullet to tear through the moving target.
"You need to steady your aim with these very delicate weapon systems," Leon couches Makoto as she set up the rifle onto her shoulder to fire a bullet to miss the shot. Makoto adjusts to fire again but she misses again.
"Shoot," Makoto said.
"Not everyone can become a sharpshooter like me," Anya said as they stop the training session.
"Thanks for the tips, I want to be better next time," she said.
"So why did you join us in the first place?" Anya asked.
"Oh, I managed to survive a viral outbreak within my hometown of Haze in 1999 on an island on the east coast of the US. I managed to survive and escape via a speed boat. I was picked up by American forces and they saw me as a candidate for this special group to fighting bioterrorism," she said as Anya nods her head to know about this event.
"Oh yes, I heard about that. It was owned by Umbrella and the mayor of that city caused the outbreak to cover his tracks," Anya said.
"Yeah, it's awful. Over 50,000 people died over some guy's promotion. It makes me sick to my stomach," Makoto said.
"I see, you have good survival skills. Badly needed in our group, I need to go. I hope you develop your skills in time," Anya said as she moves away from them. Makoto gives Leon a high five.
"I did it," she said.
"You sure did, how about we get some lunch together? We can meet up with my old friend Ark to hang out," Leon said as Makoto glows on her face.
"Oh okay, that will be fun and I am hungry too," Makoto said as Leon nods his head.
"Let's go, Mako," Leon said to give her a cute nickname for Makoto's heart goes fluttered from this to go with him. "So, what would be your favorite option?" Leon asked.
"I prefer long-range rifles. That precise is worth trying to improve. Popping heads on zombies would be very wonderful to pull off several times in a row," Makoto said.
"Yeah, it works. Having overwatch would be a comforting thing," Leon said.
"I will be your guardian angel always watching your back. It's worth protecting," Makoto said as they finished her training to go to lunch with Leon and Ark.
-Flashback Ends-
"Yep, and now I am overwatch for you guys," Makoto smiles to set off all the bear traps on the ground.
"Time to keep moving," Leon said as they hop down onto the ground to unlock the gate to see a path that goes downward.
"No one is here, you would think they would have some guards," Makoto said as they go down the hill for a bunch of villagers going to drop a big boulder down the path.
"Oh, crap," Ark said pointing upwards to see the big bounder about to roll down the hill.
"Run," Leon said as the trio made a run for it as the big rock is rolling towards them. They put all their might into running but the boulder is quickly gaining speed going to crush them in mere moments.
"Everyone. Get the way in three, two, one. Go," Ark said as the trio rolled to the side for the boulder slammed into a wall to break apart.
"Gee, that was close," Makoto said.
"if that is their idea of a warm welcome. I can't imagine what their cold shoulder looks like," Leon said as they see a tunnel through a hill that goes into another section of the farmlands.
"Seems kind of a drag here," Ark said as they see the place booby-trapped with tripwire bombs and bear traps all over the place.
"Oh boy but we are on the right track. They don't want anyone getting near this guy,' Leon said as he aims his Silver Ghost to blow up one of the tripwire bombs.
This triggered the villagers to go on the defensive. "Don't let the Americans near the traitor," one of the infected said as the trio spread throughout the area. Leon aims at the tripwire bomb to take out a group of villagers turning them into piles of gore.
Makoto takes up her rifle to begin picking off targets with headshots. She reloads her R700 rifle with 5 rounds into the magazine to rapidly take down targets.
Ark kicks a villager into a tripwire bomb to make him take the explosion turning him into a red mist. He peppers the nearby group of enemies with his MAC-10 and takes them out.
Leon rolls behind the cover as a bunch of villagers is held up in the house tossing dynamite at the trio. "That is getting annoying," he thought.
Makoto pulls out her revolver to fire at one of the villagers to make them drop the dynamite. The explosive unleashes a powerful blast which made the housing collapse to crush everyone inside.
"Nice shot," Leon said on the radio. The remaining villager is heading for the shed which holds Cerberus inside. He unlocks the heavy doors to unleash the huge hound to burst open and begins to bite the village with its giant mouth.
"What is that?" Ark wondered as Makoto looks through the scope to see a big wolf as big as a hippo with a village in its mouth.
"Oh shit, we should get ready for a big fight," Makoto said as the debris of the ruined house gets scattered by this giant wolf who has snapped the villager in half. It bares its crooked long fangs to let out a big growl to begin heading for Leon.
Leon uses his shotgun to score a hit to the face but the beast tackles him to send him flying across the dirt. The back of the beast erupts with pus and blood with a weird creature popping out.
"Goodness, this is getting crazier," Leon said as he is putting buckshot into the giant wolf.
"Gee, what is this virus anyway?" Makoto asked as she is putting shots into the monster. Ark is pouring all the bullets from his MAC-10 into the monster's body.
"It's nothing good," Ark said as he reloads his machine pistol. "Well, there goes my last mag for this thing," Ark said as he rolls backward from the barrage of fleshy whips coming out of the back of the creature. He peppers the beast but his gun clicks empty to switch back to his M1911 putting shots into its body.
Makoto rolls out of the monster's attacks to use her magnum to put powerful shots into the twisted growth on the wolf's back. The last shot made the growth pop with pus and blood scattered onto the ground.
"This is insane," Makoto said as he puts in a speed loader to put in the 6 .357 rounds within the chamber. He fires at the monster with the giant wolf tackles Makoto to send her into a tree.
"They don't want us to find this guy," Leon said as he sees the monster is close by a tripwire bomb. He fires onto it to set it off causing an explosion and doing some major damage.
Cerberus spits out the acid from its mauls trying to get Leon. He runs away from the globs of acid which melt crates and sections of walls. He blasts the eyes of the Cerberus to blind it as he finds a crate of dynamite sticks he can use against the monster.
"Gee, can you die already," Ark fires onto a tripwire bomb to stun the beast to put rounds into its head with his pistol. Ark rolls away from the beast as Leon lights up a dynamite stick.
"Yo fetch," Leon tosses the stick into the mouth of the monster dog. The explosive unleashes a big blast which vaporizes its head leaving a headless stump behind. The body flops onto the ground with blood pouring onto the ground.
"Well, that was crazy. Let's get this guy out of here," Makoto said as they go into the house which is also booby-trapped. They shoot the tripwire bombs to clear the way to see it's quite abandoned.
"Place is still rigged like outside," Leon said as they go to a doorway that is blocked by a bookshelf. Ark moves it out of the way to go inside to see a lone cabinet shaking.
"That doesn't look good," Makoto said.
"Must be the guy they were holding up here. Get ready," Leon said as he holds his Silver Ghost to be right up the cabinet. Makoto and Ark aim their guns to be ready as Leon unlocks the door to see a Spanish man fall onto the floor.
"Seems like a local here," Makoto said as Leon can see this guy has tape over his mouth. He comes to rip it off his mouth with the man grunting with pain.
"Gee, being a rough much," the man said with a Spaniard accent. Leon goes to help him unite the ropes around his hands. "So, you are not like the others?" he asked.
"Nope, we are outsiders. I need to ask you some questions," Leon said as the man gets out of his binds to rub his wrists.
"Okay but I need a smoke bad though," the man said.
"Sorry but I got some gum for that type of fix," Leon said as they all hear deep thuds to see several villagers blocking their path.
"Oh great, the big cheese is here," Luis said.
"What?" Leon wondered as Chief Mendez appears to be very impressed with the Americans managing to kill Cerberus.
"I must admit, you three are becoming quite the guest here. You killed our beloved Cerberus and found Luis here. You might be useful to Lord Saddler," Mendez said.
"What are you talking about?" Leon questioned for he goes in to kick him. Mendez easily catches his foot to toss him into Luis to rash into the cabinet knocking them both out.
"Damn it," Ark goes in with knife and pistol in hand but Mendez easily overpowers him to strike him in the chest to send him into a wall knocking him out as well. Makoto tries to fight back but she gets easily overpowered as well to fall onto the floor.
"Take them to the center. Give them the gift," Mendez said.
"Yes sir," the villager said as the four are taken to another part of the villager to await their fates.
