In the MPD staging area, Cordovin and Ren watched as the Ace-Op bullheads circled Schnee Plaza.

"I don't like this, sarge," Cordovin said in a low voice.

"She's finally starting to wise up," Winter noticed.

"It's too late at this point," Ironwood responded morosely.

In one of the bullheads, Big Jonson whooped in anticipation.

"Just like fucking Mountain Glenn, eh slick?" He hollered to Little Jonson.

Little Jonson grinned. "I was a first year, dickhead," he corrected in a deadpan tone.

"Lucky him. Mountain Glenn was a disaster," Port said, sadly remembering that fateful day.

"Hopefully one that will never happen again," Ozpin added with grief for those who lost their lives.

The bullheads tilted upwards, increasing their altitude quickly.

Soon, they overlooked the roof of Schnee Plaza, and the helipad full of hostages.

Tock herded the last hostage onto the roof, then scrambled back down the stairs when she heard the bullheads approaching. She opened the door at the bottom and was immediately gunned down by Jaune.

"That's makes nine kills for fearless leader!" Nora noted with a proud smile.

Jaune quickly picked up Tock's SMG and ran up the stairs where the clamoring hostages were gathered on the helipad. He didn't see Pyrrha anywhere.

"Where's Pyrrha? Pyrrha Nikos?!" Jaune demanded as he moved through the crowd.

Jaune recognized Nora from earlier and ran to her.

"Where's Pyrrha? Where is she?" Jaune asked

"They took her!" Nora answered tearfully

"Where?" Jaune asked.

"The vault!"

"Where's the vault?!"

"The 31st floor. Up the stairs. They just took her"

"If only Karl didn't smash his walkie talkie earlier," Ruby said.

"It wouldn't have made a difference. Jaune still had to save the other hostages," Ren reminded.

Suddenly, the Ace-Ops bullheads hovered into view. The hostages frantically waved at them to land.

"Get downstairs! All of you!" Jaune shouted at the confused hostages.

"Listen to him! Move it!" Sun shouted at the screen.

"Get off the roof!" Neptune added urgently.

"The whole fucking roof is wired to blow!" Jaune continued. "Get down! Get down! Get the fuck downstairs!"

The hostages didn't move. Jaune fired his SMG into the air to force the back downstairs. The crowd screamed in fear.

"They made us, Big Jonson," The lead bullheads copilot notified. "You've got a terrorist shooting at the hostages."

"Yeah, I see him. Bank left," Big Jonson ordered.

The bullhead swerved right. Below them, Jaune was visible as he fired into the air.

"Nail that sucker!" Big Jonson ordered the bullheads door gunner.

"Watch out, Jaune!" Pyrrha shouted.

"Friendly fire!" Ruby added.

"He's on your side, you idiots!" Yang yelled angrily.

The door gunner fired a stream of machine gun rounds that narrowly missed Jaune and the hostages.

Jaune ran and dove off the helipad for cover as the bullhead flew over him. He landed hard on his side on the lower level of the roof.

"I'm on your side, you assholes!" he shouted.

Some of the audience members chuckled that Jaune almost copied Yang word for word.

"Shit!" Big Jonson cursed as he held up a sniper rifle. "Swing around again! I'll bag this little bastard!"

The pilot complied and began to circle for another pass.

"Trigger-happy morons. They could have hit the hostages!" Winter said angrily.

"Apparently, they can live with that," Glynda sneered, recalling Little Jonson's earlier line.

Meanwhile, the frightened hostages all managed to get away. They ran back down the stairway connected to the roof. Overlooking them was Karl's body still hanging from a chain.

"At least all of the hostages managed to get away," Ren sighed in relief, happy that Nora survived.

"Not quite all of them," Weiss sadly corrected, referring to Whitley.

"Plus, they still have Pyrrha," Jaune reminded.

Back on the roof, Jaune got to his feet, ran to a large box labelled and opened it. Inside was a firehose reel. He quickly started unspooling the hose. Jaune then ran to the edge of the roof and began tying the hose around his waist.

"Oh, Jaune. What the fuck are you doing?" He asked himself. "How the fuck did you get into this shit?"

"Oh great. Here we go again," Jaune groaned while tilting his head back, realizing what his counterpart was doing.

"Same situation as the elevator shaft," Ruby added, remembering the scene from earlier.

"Only this time it's worse," Velvet added.

Down on the 30th floor, Tuskon entered the party room, overhearing something. He spotted the screaming hostages returning from the roof.

Tuskon returned to the vault where Adam and Mata were finishing with waiting to detonate the explosive dust.

"There's something wrong! They're coming back down!" Tuskon reported to Adam.

Adam quickly realized Jaune was interfering again.

"Blow the roof," Adam ordered Mata.

"But Karl and Tock are up there!" Mata protested.

"Blow the roof!" Adam repeated angrily as he ran to the detonator sitting on a table.

"Even some of Adam's men have some sense of companionship," Port pointed out.

"Too bad Adam doesn't share it. No honor among thieves after all," Ironwood said while shaking his head.

"As far as he's probably concerned, fewer men means a bigger share of the money for him," Blake said, not at all surprised by Adam's disregard for his own men.

Jaune slowly climbed onto the ledge of the building. "I promise, I will never even think of going into a tall building again!" He said to himself as he looked down at the flashing MPD cruisers almost five-hundred feet below.

"That's a long way down," Sun said nervously.

"Oh Monty," Jaune muttered shakily. "Please don't let me die."

The Ace-Op bullhead rose up behind him.

"Here they come again," Neptune pointed out.

"Get out of there, Jaune! You have to jump!" Pyrrha yelled.

Adam hit the detonator button.

Agent Big Jonson took aim at Jaune with his sniper rifle.

Jaune jumped off the ledge in the nick of time. The explosive dust detonated, lighting up the entire roof.

A bright flash illuminated Schnee Plaza's roof as a huge orange, fireball rose up into the night sky. It was visible from all across Mantle.

"Whoa!" Nora whispered, mesmerized by the explosion.

"Holy smokes! You could see that explosion for miles," Ruby commented.

"You think they overdid it on the dust?" Yang asked aloud.

"Absolutely," Weiss grumbled, angered by the damage Adam was causing.

The Ace-Op agents screamed as the fireball engulfed their bullhead.

"I hate to say it, but they won't get any sympathy from me," Ironwood said coldly.

"Except for the pilot and co-pilot," Port pointed out.

"That's true," Ironwood admitted with a shrug.

Down below, everyone in the construction yard recoiled in surprise and shielded their eyes from the bright, fiery explosion.

Jaune was sent screaming down the side of the building, the fire hose unreeling quickly above him. As the hose reel emptied, the explosion dislodged the reel from it's hinge, and it skated across the roof.

Luckily, the reel snagged onto the side of the ledge, and Jaune stopped mid-fall, slamming roughly into the side of the building.

Pyrrha sighed in relief that Jaune avoided the explosion.

"So now how's he going to get back inside?" Velvet asked aloud, eating some carrot sticks.

"I'll figure something out," Jaune answered.

Explosions continued to consume the roof.

Jaune tried to kick in the window with his bloody feet to no avail.

Thinking fast, Jaune pushed himself away from the window, swinging back on the hose. Then he drew his pistol and fired a volley of shots as he sailed back, breaking the glass. Jaune slammed back into window, shattering it, and he swung backwards, falling roughly on his back inside the building, conveniently onto the 30th floor.

Above Jaune, the reel came loose, fell off the roof, and plummeted towards the ground far below.

"Oh no!" Ruby muttered, her eyes widening.

"He's gotta untie himself, or he's dead," Blake said.

"I guess that firehose thing wasn't such a good idea," Jaune said nervously.

Jaune, having landed on a yoga mat, realized he was still tied to the heavy fire hose reel. The reels weight pulled the smooth yoga mat towards the open window, dragging Jaune towards it. He desperately struggled to free himself from the fire hose.

A split second before the as the yoga mat fell out the window, Jaune manages to untie the hose from his waist. He exhaled deeply, surprised to still be alive.

The audience exhaled as well at yet another close call for Jaune.

"Yet another near death experience he's avoided," Ren remarked.

"He's more lucky than a four-leafed clover," Qrow added with a chuckle.

The explosions on the roof continued to shake Schnee Plaza. The hostages continued fleeing down the stairwell towards the ground floor. Small debris from the explosives fell down on them

In the vault, Adam and his men were almost finished packing up the bearer bonds.

"Catch!" Adam said to Ilia as he tossed her another bag.

Pyrrha, now covered with dust and disoriented from the explosion, covered her head from falling debris with her hands.

"They haven't made their escape yet. There's still time for Jaune to stop them," Nora pointed out, excited for Jaune's final confrontation with Adam.

On the 30th Floor, Jaune slowly waded through the indoor pond where the Christmas party took place. Another explosion knocked fixtures down from the ceiling around him.

From the flames covering the roof, the wrecked Ace-Ops bullhead fell down the side of Schnee Plaza.

The bullheads fuel tank then exploded in midair, shattering the windows of the 30th floor. Jaune noticed and immediately dove underwater in the pond for cover. The entire interior garden around the pond caught fire from the explosion.

"It's amazing the building is still standing at this point," Coco said.

"It's amazing that I'm still standing at this point," Jaune added.

"Touché," Coco conceded with a nod.

Down at the MPD command post, Cordovin and Ren recoiled in shock from the destruction of the bullhead.

"Holy Dust," Cordovin said. "We're gonna need some more Ace-Ops, I guess."

Ren looked at Cordovin in bewilderment.

Qrow rolled his eyes. "That's the last thing they need right now," he said, prompting nods from the rest of the audience.

"In the end, they weren't much more effective than the MPD," Ozpin added, sipping his coffee.

Even Ironwood and Winter begrudgingly agreed, but they wouldn't admit it out loud.

Back on the 30th Floor, or what was left of it, Jaune emerged from the pond, gasping in shock. Above him, the fire sprinkler system activated.

The elevator chimed, then another explosion suddenly blew the doors off in a burst of flame.

"The building's going to have a huge repair bill when this is over," Yang laughed while looking at Weiss.

"Don't rub it in," Weiss replied curtly.

"Fucking Oum!" Jaune exclaimed as he waded through the pond with his handgun out.

Jaune climbed out of the pond and ascended the stairs towards the 31st floor.

In the parking garage, Neptune was lying back in the limousine when he heard clattering from the Solitas Courier truck nearby. He sat up and spotted Ilia running into trailer of the truck via boarding ramp. Neptune leaned forward in puzzlement.

Neptune heard an engine start up, then Ilia drove an ambulance out of the back of the truck.

"The fuck is going on?" Neptune asked himself softly.

"Now's your chance to help out," Weiss said to Neptune.

"What is he gonna do? Throw the teddy bear at him?" Sun teased, prompting Neptune to flip him off.

On the 31st Floor, Jaune limped into smoke filled corridor leading to the vault.

"What are you going to do?" Pyrrha asked loudly in the distance. "Sit here while the building falls down around your ears?!"

"Shut your mouth!" Adam shouted, followed by a sharp slap and a brief cry from Pyrrha.

"Oh no he didn't!" Jaune hissed at the screen, clenching his fists in anger.

Pyrrha put a soothing hand on Jaune's shoulder, calming him down.

Jaune edged towards the vault and removed the magazine from his SMG. There was only one bullet left.

"Shit," Jaune mumbled.

"He's on his last leg at this point," Ozpin observed, knowing the odds were still long for Jaune.

"You think he can take Adam? He still has two more henchmen with him," Blake pointed out.

"Plus, he's got me as a hostage," Pyrrha added worriedly.

"And to top it all off, he's practically out on ammo," Qrow concluded.

Pyrrha, in the vault room, pushes Tuskon's hand away from her. "All right!" she says.

"Go!" Adam ordered, throwing another bag of bearer bonds at Tuskon.

Jaune was checking his remaining ammunition. "Hang on, baby! Hang on, honey!" he whispered.

He had only two 9mm bullets left. "Oh Oum," he muttered.

Jaune tried to think of something. Then he spotted a few rolls of duct tape on a nearby cart. He got another idea.

"Looks like he's got another makeshift plan," Port pointed out.

"Let's hope it'll work, or he and Pyrrha are finished," Blake said grimly.

"Don't be such a downer, Blake. Vomit boy will come through," Yang reprimanded, confident that Jaune would prevail.

Meanwhile, Neptune quietly followed the ambulance driven by Ilia, now disguised as a paramedic. He noticed it backing up towards the boarding ramp. Ilia didn't spot the limo until it was too late. She started to open the drivers door, only to immediately shut in shock as she noticed Neptune speeding towards her.

Neptune T-boned the ambulance, pinning it against the loading platform. Neptune then quickly climbed out of the limo, ran up to Ilia, and socked her in face through the driver window, knocking her out cold.

Neptune grinned, looking proud of himself for helping.

"Good job, Neptune," Weiss praised her former crush.

"Yeah, bro. You helped out after all," Sun admitted.

"Thanks. Now it's up to Jaune to finish the job," Neptune replied with a smile.

Back on the 31st Floor, Adam, Tuskon, and Mata were preparing to leave.

"Go! Quickly!" Adam ordered Mata

Mata ran up a nearby ramp leading out of the room while Tuskon and Adam gathered up the bags filled with bearer bonds.

At the top of the ramp, Mata was suddenly knocked out by Jaune hiding behind a corner. Mata dropped a stack of bearer bonds that spilled across the floor.

"Adaaaam!" Jaune bellowed.

"Time for the final showdown!" Nora exclaimed, bobbing up and down in her seat excitedly.

"I've been looking forward to this," Weiss said, hoping Adam would finally get what was coming to him.

"We all have," Yang said with a grin.

"I feel it's going to be awesome!" Neptune predicted.

Adam and Tuskon's heads shot up to see Jaune's silhouette step into view at the end of the corridor, his SMG held at hip level. Sparks from the damaged lights fell from the ceiling around him.

Adam quickly drew his gun, reached to his left, and pulled Pyrrha in front of him.

Jaune slowly limped up the ramp, panting with exhaustion.

"Monty," Pyrrha whispered, shocked at Jaune's haggard appearance.

"I'd be surprised if I saw him like that in real life," Pyrrha admitted.

"Indeed. He looks like he's gone ten rounds with an Ursa Major," Port commented, having a similar experience in the past.

"Hi, honey," Jaune muttered as he staggered forward.

Adam slowly backed up towards a window to his right, pulling Pyrrha along with his gun to her head. Tuskon glanced down to his SMG on a cart full of bearer bond bags. He slowly moved towards it.

"So that's what this was all about?" Jaune asked Adam. "A fucking robbery?!"

"Like Pyrrha said, Adam doesn't care about any ideology or politics," Ozpin noted with contempt.

"It all comes down to greed. He's just a common thief, like Ms. Nikos said," Glynda added.

Adam held Pyrrha at gunpoint near a window.

"Put down the gun," Adam ordered.

"Why did you have to blow up the whole building, Adam?" Jaune asked.

"Well, when you steal six-hundred lien, you can just disappear. When you steal six-hundred million, they will find you. Unless they think you're already dead."

"It can't be that simple," Ruby said doubtfully.

"You'd be surprised. Menagerie is sparsely populated. If Adam escaped there, chances are he could stay hidden for at least a while," Blake retorted.

"Plus, it's unlikely the Faunus would rat him out, since he's former White Fang," Sun added, sipping a soda.

"Put down the gun," Adam repeated.

Jaune looked at Tuskon, then back at Pyrrha. He lowered his weapon. Pyrrha looked shocked that Jaune was seemingly giving up.

Jaune discarded his SMG.

"Wait. He's not really giving up, is he?" Ren said worriedly.

"No way. I know he's got another trick up his sleeve," Nora assumed.

Tuskon quickly grabbed his own SMG and aimed it at Jaune.

"No! This is mine!" Adam shouted, stopping Tuskon.

"You got me," Jaune said, placing his hands behind his head.

"I see what Mr. Arc has planned," Oobleck said with an understanding nod.

"What's that, Professor Oobleck?" Ruby asked.

"Doctor Oobleck," He corrected irritably. "Just watch and you'll see."

"Still the cowboy, Mr. Arc," Adam sneered. "You humans are all alike. However, this time John Layne does not walk off into the sunset with Grace Helly."

"That was Harry Cooper, asshole," Jaune corrected rudely.

"Enough jokes."

"You would have made a pretty good cowboy yourself, Adam."

"Oh, yes," Adam agreed with a sly grin, moving his pistol from Pyrrha's head. "What was it you said to me before? Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker?"

Jaune starts to laugh at Adam remembering his early phrase. Adam and Tuskon began to laugh too, thinking they'd beaten Jaune.

The camera switched to behind Jaune, revealing his handgun taped to his back within hands reach. Pyrrha's eyes widened as she realized Jaune had something planned.

"I knew it! He couldn't conceal the SMG behind his back with tape, so he used the handgun instead," Oobleck exclaimed, proud that he guessed Jaunes move.

"And loaded the SMGs remaining ammunition in the handgun," Winter added, nodding in respect for Jaune's resourcefulness.

Tired of the game, Adam began to level his gun towards Jaune, eager to end it once and for all.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune shouted as he whipped the gun out from his back.

Pyrrha immediately ducked as Jaune fired, hitting Adam in the chest, the bullet exiting him and cracking the window behind him. Jaune then swiftly aimed and fired at Tuskon, scoring a headshot, and killing him instantly.

Jaune mock blew smoke from his pistol. "Happy trails, Adam," he said.

"Great job and one liner!" Yang cheered for Jaune's counterpart.

"Well done, Jaune," Weiss admitted.

"Very clever, Mr. Arc," Ozpin complimented. "Diverting Adam's attention from Ms. Nikos to yourself to give yourself a window of opportunity to shoot him."

Adam collapsed backwards into the window, shattering it. As he fell, he grabbed Pyrrha by the Schnee Dust Company wristwatch she received earlier.

Jaune quickly rushed forward to help Pyrrha, who screamed as Adam dangled from her wristwatch, nearly dragging her down with him.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune cried out in terror.

"He's still alive?!" Ruby yelled in disbelief.

"He's likely mortally wounded, but he still has some life left in him," Penny observed, worried for the Arc couple.

Down below in the MPD staging area, Ren and Cordovin heard Pyrrha screaming. They looked up and saw the scene unfolding on the 30th floor.

Pyrrha continued to scream while Jaune struggled to unlatch the watch Adam clung to for dear life.

Adam recovered from the shock of his gunshot wound and tilted his glare upwards at the Arc couple.

"Come one! Come on!" Jaune urged his counterpart as he broke into a nervous sweat.

"Don't let him win," Pyrrha whispered.

Jaune desperately struggled to loosen the watch.

Adam, his face full of rage and hate, leveled his gun at the Arcs with his very last ounce of strength in a final attempt to kill them.

"He's gonna try and take them with him," Blake said.

"No!" Nora muttered worriedly.

Finally, at the last second, Jaune unclasped the watch, freeing Pyrrha from Adams grip.

In slow motion, Adam's face turned to shock, defeat, and the horrible realization he was going to die as he fell toward the ground thirty stories below.

Jaune sighed and wiped sweat from his forehead, relieved that he saved Pyrrha and defeated Adam. Everyone else either sighed in relief or smiled at Jaune's victory.

"You did it, Jaune," Pyrrha praised her partner with a clap on his shoulder.

"That was for Whitley," Weiss said, satisfied to see her brother avenged.

Qrow raised his flask to the screen. "Good job, kid," he congratulated before taking a sip.

"Pride comes before the fall," Yang said, referring to Adam's earlier certainty that he had won, while everyone else groaned at the lame pun.

"Please, Yang. Don't ruin the moment," Ruby pleaded, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Down below, Ren and Cordovin watched as Adam fell to his death.

"Oh, I hope that's not a hostage," Cordovin said softly.

Finally, Adam's body hit the cement ground with an audible thud, prompting Ren to wince.

"Oooooh," everyone winced as well.

"That'll leave a rather nasty mess," Oobleck commented, feeling bad for whoever had to clean up Adam's remains.

Back on the 30th floor, Jaune pulled Pyrrha back up to safety. They panted in relief in each other's arms.

Down in Schnee Plaza's drive through, burning debris littered the entire area and a shower of papers had begun to fall from the destroyed floors of the building. Fire engines and other emergency vehicles had arrived to extinguish the fires, especially on the upper floors.

"So much damage and debris," Penny remarked sadly. "The cleaning and repairs will probably take months. And Schnee Plaza will be closed down for a while."

"And to top it all off, the SDC will suffer a considerable financial backlash," Weiss concluded, knowing that Whitley's death and having a major SDC building out of commission would harm the company's bottom line.

Cardin's Atlas-TV News van cruised onto the scene and slid to a stop. Cardin and his news crew climbed out.

"Come on! Come on! We're gonna miss it!" Cardin anxiously urged his crew.

"Okay! Hand me my notes!" Octavia replied as she followed Cardin.

"Well, look at who's back," Pyrrha sneered, still angry that Cardin almost got her killed.

"I hope you and Jaune give him a piece of your minds," Velvet said, glaring at the screen.

"Personally, I'd give him more than that," Yang said, lightly pounding her fist into her hand.

Jaune and Pyrrha, now wearing protective fire coats, were escorted out of the building by emergency services. They descended the front steps of the building. Outside, the other hostages had made it to safety. Police officers rushed into the building while reporters hounded the hostages with questions.

"What was it like in there?"

"How did they treat you?"

"Did they frighten you at all?"

"How does it feel to be outside?"

"They just don't let up, do they?" Pyrrha sighed at the persistent reporters.

"Nope," Weiss said shaking her head. "They're like vultures drawn to a corpse."

"I'd expect that kind of morbid metaphor from Blake, but not you Ice Queen," Yang chuckled, earning annoyed glares from her teammates.

Jaune searched the crowd. His gaze stopped on an MPD Sergeant. It was Ren. He locked eyes with Jaune and smiled at him.

"They finally meet face to face," Qrow noted with a warm smile.

"I think Ren instinctively knows it's Jaune," Ironwood presumed, also smiling.

"Pal," Jaune mouthed, knowing in his heart that it was him.

Ren gave a slight nod at Jaune and Pyrrha as they approached him. The two men paused in front of each other before Ren broke into laugher. The two officers gave each other a hug. Jaune laughed tearfully in Ren's embrace.

"D'aaaw, you two look so cute together" Ruby cooed with a hand to her face.

"Bro hug!" Neptune and Sun said together.

"True companions," Ozpin commented with a pleased look.

Jaune and Ren smiled at the heartwarming scene.

"Ren, this is my wife, Pyrrha," he introduced with a chuckle. "Pyrrha Nikos."

"Pyrrha Arc," She corrected as she shook Ren's hand.

"Hello, Pyrrha," says Ren, "You've got yourself a good man. You take good care of him."

"Oh, I plan to," Pyrrha said, giving Jaune a warm smile.

Jaune blushed and smiled back at his partner.

"Ren? A female voice said behind Jaune and Pyrrha.

They turned around and spotted Nora standing there. Ren looked overjoyed that his wife was all right. Nora smiled at her husband and walked over to hug him.

"Thank Oum!" Ren said in relief while Nora shed tears of joy.

Jaune and Pyrrha smiled at the scene.

"Jaune, Pyrrha. This is my wife Nora," Ren introduced.

"We already know each other," Pyrrha explained, prompting Nora to laugh.

"Two couples reunited. What are the odds?" Jaune asked with a laugh.

"This is so touching," Nora said, feeling all mushy inside to see Team JNPR together on the big screen.

Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ren all smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Arc!" another female voice rang out.

Caroline Cordovin pushed through the crowd, storming towards Jaune with a bullish look.

Everyone groaned in exasperation at the sight of Cordovin.

"Oh, Monty! Not her again," Winter muttered with a facepalm.

"We should have known she'd ruin the moment," Port said with an annoyed look.

"I was hoping we'd seen the last of her," Ironwood said, glowering at the screen.

"Arc! I want a debrief! I want a debriefing!" Cordovin demanded as she approached Jaune. "You've got some things to answer for, Mister! Torchwicks murder, for one thing. Property damage, interfering with police business…"

Jaune looked incredulously angry. He moved towards Cordovin to chew her out.

Suddenly, Nora screamed in terror, pointing back towards the building entrance. Karl, somehow still alive, emerged from a body bag carried by a couple of MPD officers.

"What the hell? How is he still alive?!" Yang cried out, amazed by Karl's resilience.

"He survived being hanged and the explosion on the roof?!" Sun added in bafflement.

"He just doesn't quit, that guy," Velvet said.

Karl bellowed as he shoved the two officers away and whipped out his rifle.

The crowd screamed while Jaune immediately threw Pyrrha to the ground for protection while Ren reached at his belt. Karl, face bloodied and full of primal fury, leveled his weapon at the Arc couple.

Everyone gasped and tensed up, knowing that Jaune was unarmed and the other officers may or may not react in time.

A gunshot rang out from a revolver, then four more shots followed. Karl was struck by the bullets. Jaune gaped in shock by the scene. One final shot from the revolver finished off Karl, who finally collapsed dead to the ground.

Holding the smoking gun was Ren, amazed that he's finally overcome his fear of drawing his weapon. Jaune looked at Karl's corpse in amazement, then at Ren.

Nora laughed with relief and pride. "I'm so proud of you, Renny!" she praised her partner, giving him a bear hug.

"He finally overcame his past," Oobleck added.

"Atta boy, Ren," Jaune added, clapping his friend on the shoulder.

Ren smiled and chuckled bashfully.

"If that doesn't kill him, nothing will," Blake commented at Karl's toughness.

Pyrrha and Jaune stood up from the ground.

"All right, the two of you, go up and see if there's anyone else," an MPD officer ordered as more cops stormed the building.

Just then, Neptune plowed through a nearby parking garage gate in the damaged but still drivable limousine.

Sun blinked. "Wait, why didn't he try that earlier?" he asked.

Neptune shrugged. "I probably figured the gate was too strong," he assumed.

"Besides, he couldn't just abandon Jaune," Ruby added reasonably.

Ren was startled by Neptune's arrival and readied his pistol but Jaune placed a soothing hand on his shoulder.

"This one's with me," Jaune said, aiming Ren's gun at the ground.

Jaune wrapped his arm around Pyrrha, gave Ren a farewell smile, and walked toward the limo. Neptune honked and waved at them from the drivers seat as he approached. Cardin and his news crew approached the Arcs.

"Mister Arc! Mister Arc!" Cardin said as he shoved a microphone into Jaune's face. "Now that it's all over, after this incredible ordeal, what are your feelings?"

A news camera view of the confrontation was shown.

Pyrrha scowled and punched Cardin in the face. Cardin staggered back, clutching his nose. A few people laughed at the scene.

The whole audience laughed as well, especially Pyrrha, Jaune, Velvet, and Coco.

"After that, I'm feeling quite satisfied," Jaune quipped with a smirk.

"Me too," Pyrrha added, glad that Cardin got what he deserved.

"Well, well, well," Jaune said to Neptune, clapping him on the back. "Merry Christmas, Neptune."

Neptune smiled and held the limo door open for the Arc couple. They climbed inside.

"Merry Christmas," Neptune replied.

On-camera, Cardin nursed his now bleeding nose. "Did you get that?" He asked his cameraman sarcastically.

"I hope so," Coco said with a grin.

"Put that in your news report, slimebag," Velvet shouted, prompting laughter from the audience.

Neptune closed the door and shook his head. "If this is their idea of Christmas. I've got to be there for New Years!" He said.

Jaune and Pyrrha faced each other in the backseat of the limo. Their lips met in a passionate kiss.

Everyone cheered, whistled, or cooed at the kiss. Jaune and Pyrrha blushed but exchanged smiles, their hands entwined.

"Atta boy, lady-killer!" Yang whooped loudly.

"I knew they'd reconcile at the end," Nora said, happy for her teammates.

"They do make a great couple," Glynda commented with a smile.

"I'll say," Coco agreed, hoping Jaune and Pyrrha would get together for real.

Neptune hopped into the drivers seat and drove away down Glacier Avenue.

The song "Let it Now" played as the credits rolled.

The entire audience applauded as the credits finished and the lights turned back on. Gold-Sith reappeared on the screen. The audience rose from their seats.

"Now then, ladies and gentlemen. What did you think?" He asked.

"I loved it!" Ruby and Jaune exclaimed at the same time.

"Me too! I've got a whole new assortment of one liners for the tournament," Yang added, hoping to use 'Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker' some time.

Blake sighed with a facepalm at Yang's declaration.

"I liked it. My first film viewing was certainly enjoyable," Penny said with a smile, looking forward to another viewing.

"Well, I'm not a particularly big fan of action films, but the ending was definitely satisfying," Weiss said with a nod.

"I second Ms. Schnee's opinion. All the gore and profanity don't tickle my interest, but it was still enjoyable," Glynda added.

"I'll admit, this was enjoyable. Perhaps I'll return for another film," Ironwood said.

"Well, I think you'll be excited to know that I have quite an assortment of additional films from my multiverse experiences. However, the next one won't be ready until monday night around 8:30 pm."

"I think that'll work for all of us. It'll be right after the doubles round begin," Ozpin said.

"Indeed. I'm sure Port and I can make time for another viewing after our spectating duties," Oobleck said while Port nodded in agreement.

"I'll have to check my calendar, but I'm sure I can make it back," Coco said, knowing she had to get ready for her upcoming match.

"I may have plans, but I'll see if I can return," Winter said uncertainly.

"Very well. I'll have the film ready by Monday, along with the snacks and beverages. Until then, good night, everyone. And thank you for coming."

"Good night, Mr. Gold-Sith," Nora said as she waved to the screen.

"See you on Monday," Sun added.

"Take care," Gold-Sith concluded as the screen went blank and the audience departed.

Authors Note: I hope you all enjoyed my first adaptation. This final chapter was very fun to write, especially Adam's death. In case any of you were curious, this film viewing took place between "It's Brawl in the Family" and "Lessons Learned" in Volume 3.
