After a week in Mumbai, Kagome was starting to itch to leave again. She didn't know where she wanted to go next. Maybe north to Delhi to see a new city, maybe to another country entirely. She just felt like she wanted to go.
Donna set tea in front of her and sat across from her. "Where to next?" Her expression was curious, but not overly worried.
Blinking, Kagome sipped the tea brought to her and smiled. "Am I that obvious?" She set the cup back down, glancing out the window to the busy streets below.
"Maybe not to everyone else, but to me it's plain as day." She settled in a seat across from her and sipped at her own cup of tea, her expression thoughtful yet warm. "So, are we staying in India? Or do you have other places you want to go?"
Tears glazed her vision for a moment and she raised the cup of tea to conceal how overwhelmed she felt. She had a friend coming along with her. She had a friend that made her tea and read her expressions. Clearing her throat, she set her tea down. "How about you pick, hm?"
"Oh, well, hm…" Donna took out her phone and poked the screen a few times, a pensive look on her face. After a few moments, she turned the smart device towards her and smiled. "How about we start in the Galapagos and hop around that region a bit?"
"Perfect."
