Chapter 39-Cutie Mark Crusaders and the Lapras!
It was a bright sunny day and our heroes had a quick stop at Pokémon Center.
"Alright, now that we're all stuff, what do you say we train for our gym battle?" Ash asked Pikachu.
"Pika Pika!"
"In that case," Serena said as she and Rarity called all their Pokémon. "Why don't we practice on our Pokémon performance?"
"Meanwhile, I work on some new inventions," Clemont said.
"Clemont? Is it okay if go and explore the forest?" Bonnie asked him
"I guess so, but don't get into any trouble," Clemont said.
"Of course, I won't, Dedenne will be with me," She replied as she headed in. "Will be fine."
Moments later...
"There has to be a gazillion Pokémon living in this forest," Bonnie said. "Hi, there Wormadam. Have a nice day."
Continue to walk when she stopped by three girls and their Pokémon.
"You're not allowed to go this way!" The first said with a Southern accent.
"Huh?" Bonnie looked at them stupidly.
While our heroes continue their trek to Courmarine City sight Ash's next gym battle.
Bonnie and Dedenne have come across a group of kids.
"Hey, why aren't allowed to walk that way?"
"Because it our dominion of Cutie Mark Crusaders Pokémon Helpers," the second one said.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Uh, I forget," the third one said.
"It means it belongs to us and us only."
"Well that doesn't make sense, the forest doesn't belong to anybody."
"Do you dare argue with us, The Cutie Mark Crusaders Pokémon Helpers?"
"Wait, there's a Pokémon that need help?"
"How did you know that?"
"It's in the name?"
"Dang, she's good. What's your name?"
"I think it's rude if you don't tell me your names before I tell you mine."
"That's not very nice, I'm Apple Bloom."
"And Scottaloo."
"And my name is Sweetie Belle and these are our Pokémon Magby, Cubone, and Kirila."
"Well, Bonnie's my name and this is Dedenne."
"Nice Pokémon you got there," Sweetie Belle said.
"Well, Dedenne is my big brother Clemont Pokémon that he asked me to care of."
"He asked to care of it, my Cubone was given by me big sister," Apple Bloom said.
"So did mine," Sweetie Belle said.
"This Magby was given to my parents," Sctooaloo added. "Here's an idea we'll let join us if you let us pet it."
"Dedenne just loves to be petted, here," Bonnie extended her arm, and three girls petted Dedenne.
"This is so cool," Sctooaloo said as Dedenne accidentally used Nuzzle on them.
"My bad."
"It's okay, I'm used to getting shocked, anyway welcome to the group."
"Wow, such a pretty lake," Bonnie commented.
"Now Crusaders time to transform!" Apple Bloom shouted.
"Right!"
The three girls toss their clothes showing their swimsuits.
"We're all set for Water mode!" Sweetie Belle said.
Hey, wait a sec, I wanna change too," Bonnie exclaimed as she change into a Slowpoke swimsuit. "Kay I'm ready!"
"Everyone, move out!"
Everyone jumped in the water.
"Okay, where's the Pokémon?" Bonnie asked.
"It should be here right now," Sctooaloo said as a Larpas came from underwater to greet them.
"Wow, it's a Larpas. Awesome. So this is where Lapars live right?"
"No, here's what really happened. So we're currently walking after a big storm hit, we follow these weird tracks to a lake and Larpas came up from the water."
"And we saw that Larpas got hurt, so we decide to take of it."
"That is so awesome. I'm glad there good to you."
Much later the four girls change back into their clothes.
"Why are keeping Lapras a secret?"
"Simple, Lapars was probably hurt by a bad Pokémon Hunter."
"Or even a Pokémon Smuggler, and that we swore to never tell anyone."
The storm clouds appears and started to rain. Meanwhile, Ash and Pikachu made it to the Pokémon Center where the others are there.
"You didn't happen to see, Bonnie did you?" Clemont asked.
"Huh? Come to think of it, no," Ash replied.
"She said was she was going to explore the forest but hasn't come back."
"I hope she's at least staying out of the rain..." Fluttershy said.
...
...
"Nice place you got here," Bonnie commented.
"Thanks, it's our hideout. Which reminds me..." Apple Bloom pulled out some candy and gave it to Larpas. "It's always cheers her up."
Moments later...
"Look! It's stopping raining! Great!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed.
"Let's play some more, Larpas," Sctooaloo said as Larpas squealed sadly. "Not again."
"What again?" Bonnie asked.
"Sometimes Larpas will start to cry like it's really, sad about something... but we have no idea why," Sweetie Belle said.
"Larpas, what's wrong?" Bonnie asked as she touch Larpas skin only to be warm. "Hey, it's skin feels warmer than it should."
"You're right. It's hot!" Scootaloo added.
"Maybe its wound didn't heal properly. Girls, we going to need some help."
"How are we going to do that? We can't tell grown-ups?"
"Hey, Bonnie!" Ash called.
"Where are you?" Clemont called as well.
"What if tell someone that's not an adult?" Bonnie asked.
"What do you mean?" All three had dumbfounded looks.
Much later, Clemont and Fluttershy were checking Larpas out as Serena scanned with her Pokédex.
Lapras. The Transport Pokémon. Lapras enjoys carrying people on its back and it understands what people are saying.
"It's burning up. It's not something we can deal with."
"Oh, you poor Pokémon," Fluttershy sadly said.
"I think we'd better get Nurse Joy, right away."
"Good idea."
"You guys tried your best to help Lapras but you have to know when to call in some big help," Rarity said to them.
Back at the Pokémon Center...
"Are you kidding me, one croissant? This has to be a joke right?" Duke asked.
"I'm afraid one is all they had left," Jessie said.
"Shall we split it?" James asked.
"Don't be stupid, blue hair. Rock-paper-scissors wins it all!"
"On three! 1, 2..."
Inkay came out and ate the croissant, then Rainbow Dash came inside.
"Nurse Joy, we have got an emergency on our hands!" Rainbow said to her with Team Rocket eavesdropping. '

...
"Lapras would it closed but some germs must have gotten in," Nurse Joy said as she used a Hyper Potion on its fins. "That explains the high fever."
"So what does mean?" Scootaloo asked. "Will it be alright?"
"Larpas will be just fine."
Hours later...
"Look like it's fine!" Pinkie said Lapras while swimming in the lake just as Team Rocket look from above.
"Lapras is on the loose," Adagio said.
"A Pokémon we could put to very good use," Duke said.
"Let's catch it! Without an excuse," James said as Wobuffet came out forcing the others to hide.
Meanwhile, Lapras started to cry again.
"It sounds tearful hearing cry," Pinkie said.
"Given the story, we were told earlier. Lapras was swept into the forest during a storm," Clemont said.
"Forest... River... maybe it wants to return to the ocean," Jaden said. "After all, Lapras mostly travel in groups."
"Of course. Hey, Lapras do you miss all of your friends?" Rainbow asked with Larpas nodding.
"Okay, then let's get Lapras back out to sea!" Ash exclaimed.
"Why?"
"At the end of the day, Lapras cares for all of you, but at the same time it's feeling homesick."
"If it's homesick, then I want to help."
"Me too."
"Me three. It's the right thing to do."
"Great sound like a job for the Cuite Mark Crusaders!" Bonnie exclaimed as Jaden pulls up his map.
"Looks like the lake connects to a big river, so if we follow it downstream we should reach the ocean," Jaden said.
"Great job, Jaden," Applejack said to him.
"Let's do this, guys!" Ash said then everyone cheered.
All of them headed downstream, only for a huge boulder to block it.
"Maybe that's why Lapras couldn't get home because that boulder was in the way," Zane said.
"So let's get it out of the way! Froakie, Hawlucha! Let's go!"
"Combusken!" Ash and Rainbow called for their Pokémon.
"I think we can lend a hand, too!" Clemont added.
"Fenekin, you're up!"
"Time to shine, Chimchar!"
"Let's go, Pangoro!"
"Lucario!" Everyone else for their Pokémon.
"Froake, use Cut, Halwlucha, use High Jump Kick!"
"Chespin, Tackle, and Luxio use Wild Charge!"
"Pangoro, Hammer Arm!"
"Combusken, Flame Charge!"
"Sandile, Rock Blast!"
"Now Fennekin, use Scratch!"
"Chimchar, Flame Wheel!"
"Grovyle, Leaf Blade!"
"Sneasl, Metal Claw!"
"Emboar, Heat Crash!"
All the Pokémon attacks were able to destroy and continue their progress.
"If we follow the river downstream we'll reach the ocean!" Clemont said.
"Oh no, you won't!" Jessie shouted then everyone Team Rocket on their Magikarp Submarine.
"Prepare for trouble, your good times are through!"
"And make it double, doo be doo be doo!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To put you twerpies on probation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love."
"This motto stuff fits me like a glove!"
"It's Jessie!"
"Meowth!"
"Adagio!"
"Aria!"
"Sonata!"
"And forget your boy Duke!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or you can go fly a kite!"
"Wobbuffet,"
"Murkow!"
"Houndour!"
"Team Rocket! What do you want?!" Hilda asked.
"And where are the other two?" Jaden added.
"Order in the court!" Duke screamed. "Catching Lapras is our favorite sport!"
"Thanks in advance for dimwitted support!" Aria said.
"Fat chance! Togekiss! Aura Sphere!"
"Staraptor! Air Slash!"
Both Staraptor and Togekiss fire their attacks that cancel the other out.
"We'll handle Team Rocket! You keep going and don't stop!"
"But..."
"You guys will take of Lapras while we make sure that Team Rocket won't get their way!"
"We're counting on The Cutie Mark Crusaders!"
"Right, let's go!" Bonnie, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom took off.
"You think you can pin us down?!" Adagio smirked.
"Think again, losers!" Aria exclaimed as their submarine puffed out smoke blinding the others allowing them to escape. '
"Fudgesticks they got away!"
Meanwhile...
"Look, ocean dead ahead!"
"Just a little further."
"Well, my good friend James, what do we have here?" Cylde asked.
"Why, dear Cylde we got of ourselves a big one!" James as he called out Inkay and Clyde called out Maganmite.
"Those two are a part of Team Rocket!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"Lapras is our catch of the day," James said. "Inkay, Psybeam, okay?!"
Inkay fired Psybeam at Lapras which made it confused just Team Rocket's submarine came by and James, Cylde, and the Pokémon hop aboard.
"Uh, oh, it's confused what do we do now?"
"It's Larpas picking season!" Sonata exclaimed as the sub pulled its robotic arms.
"Hang on, we're coming!" All four of them hopped with Bonnie and Apple Bloom helped Larpas to calm it while Sweetie Belle and Sctooaloo hold off the arms.
"Beat it, you little dorks!" Meowth exclaimed.
"What do we do... hold on a sec," Apple Bloom pulled out the candy she had. "Here eat this!"
Apple Bloom gave Lapras which it ate and felt a lot better.
"It works every time!"
"Party pooper!" Jessie shrieked as Larpas tail smackdown the submarine arm
"We gotta jet! Bye-bye!" Sctooaloo did a raspberry at them.
"I don't think so," Cylde said. "Maganmite use Thunder!"
"Move left and dodge it!"
Larpas moved to avoid the Thunder then used Water Gun on them.
"Way to go, Larpas! You're the coolest!"
"Coolest my foot! Staraptor, Air Slash!"
"Pumpkaboo, Dark Pulse!"
"Yamask, Shadow Ball!"
All of them fired their attack right at them only to be knocked down by a Water Gun.
"Hey, look over there!" Apple Bloom saw two more Larpas.
"It looks likes your friends came here to help you!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"Sweet! A Larpas Trio!" Duke exclaimed.
Then the two Larpas fired an Ice Beam and froze Team Rocket in their place.
"Talk about a quick freeze!" Sonata exclaimed just as the others caught up.
"I guess Lapras family was waiting for it to back home!" Ash exclaimed.
"Now to send these chumps out of here! Ninjask, Hyper Beam!"
Ninjask fired its Hyper Beam at Team Rocket's submarine which exploded at sent them flying.
"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket disappeared out of sight!
"Alright!" Pinkie cheered.
"Wow, it looks happy does it?"
"It really does, I'm glad for all of them."
Then all three Lapras smiled at them.
"Take good you three!" Bonnie said as they left. "I wonder if will ever see them again."
"Sure you will, count on it!" Ash said.
"Pika! Pika!"
...
...
"It was nice seeing you guys."
"Thanks, bye! Maybe we'll see each other soon!"
As Bonnie says goodbye to her new friends the Cutie Mark Crusaders
Lapras is safely back home and reunited with its family
Now our heroes are off Coumarine City Gym as the journey continues!
Meanwhile, at an undisclosed location...
"It won't be long before it appears, when it appears, the world shall know the name of Team Chill!"
