Kalos Quest Chapter 1-A Pathway to Performing!

Here we are guys EG: Kalos Quest. Part 2 of Pokemon EG XY Trilogy

If you guys had followed my previous story this is where things get interesting. Stick around until the very end where from the shadows a significant undertaking is about to unfold.

As our heroes continue their way to Courmarine City, Jaden, and Twilight had just finished their battle.

"Man, I thought I came close to beating you, Twilight," Jaden said.

"Hey, you came close, your Marshtomp is good, but if Snivy hadn't evolved into Servine I would've been done for," Twilight implied.

"But the next time, I'll get the win, but I have to ask you something, what's with the new look?" Jaden asked her about the change in her clothes as she was wearing a purple jacket with a light purple shirt, a dark purple skirt, and black boots with purple laces.

"Decided to go with a new change, but more to the point Rainbow dare all of us to change clothes."

"What's the catch?"

"Those who didn't have to test dummy when Clemont make another wacky invention."

"Yikes. Well better head back to the others, I heard that Serena made her Pokepuffs."

Much later, our heroes were enjoying themselves with a picnic.

"I'm full," Ash exclaimed.

"How about a nice Poké Puff for dessert?" Serena offered. "I made plenty for everyone!"

Sernea opened her basket only to see no Poké Puffs.

"What the... there's nothing left," Bonnie commented.

"You don't think..." Clemont wondered.

"That Chespin ate them again, he did," Rainbow said as she pointed to him eating one.

"Oh no, not again," Rarity facepalmed.

"Chespin!"

"Pancham!"

"No, Pancham, it's okay," Serena said to it then both of them started to fight.

"Hey stop, fighting!"

"Stop Chespin! What are you doing?!" Clemont exclaimed as Serena picked up Pancham and both of them shouted at each other.

"Any idea what they're saying?" Rainbow asked Fluttershy.

"You don't want to know," Fluttershy said.

Moments later...

"Listen, both of you! Don't you remember you're friends? Now, makeup?" Serena told them.

Pancham kicked Chespin and Chespin bonk on Pancham on the head.

"Hey, all you're doing is just being plain mean to each other, come on," Clemont encouraged.

Neither of them listen and continued to listen and continued to hit each other, then Axew got in between them.

"Pancham!"

"Che! Chespin!"

"Ax!"

"Are you going to stop him?" Bonnie asked Hilda.

"No. Axew is pretty good at stopping arguments," Hilda told her.

Then both Pancham and Chespin used Vine Whip and Stone Edge at Axew sending him back then the arguing Pokémon got knocked into the air by Golduck's Hydro Pump.

"Golduck! Golduck!"

"Chespin! Chespin!" Chespin ran off and Pacham followed after him.

"Golduck?" Hilda asked.

Meanwhile. both of them continue to fight each other and rolled into a bush where they bumped into a Ludicolo along with it was scolding Delcatty, Banette, Renuilcus, and two girls.

The first one was wearing a white jacket with a white shirt, a white skirt with a purple skirt with zigzag marks, and having headphones, and wearing white-purple-blue sneakers, while the second one wearing a gray shirt with a pink bow on her neck, a gray skirt with black leggings and gray boots.

"What do you think you're doing to our Pokémon?" The second one asked.

"Then you are," Clemont said as he and Serena caught up.

"Are those two your Pokémon? They're were interpreting on rehearsal."

"Forgive me, please?!" Clemont bowed.

"Sorry! Pancham, apologize, right now!"

"You too, Chespin." All four of them bowed.

"What's going on?" Ash asked as the rest of them showed.

"Pancham and Chespin got into more trouble," Zane said seeing the situation.

"Our bad," Rainbow said.

"Whatever, it's fine. Let's keep training for Pokémon Showcase."

"Pokémon Showcase? Serena and I were thinking about entering as well! Rarity said.

"Oh really! It's our first time."

"Same."

"But, we get no feedback from others with us just practicing. Hey, would you please watch our performance and tell us, what you think?"

"But I don't know enough to judge someone's else performance."

"Don't worry about it, you got to have constructive criticism. By the way, I'm Vinnyl Scratch."

"And I'm Octavia."

"In that case... I'm in."

"So these guys are your partners?" Applejack scanned all of them with Pokédex.

Banette. The Marionette Pokémon. Banette generates energy for laying strong curses by sticking pins into its own body. This Pokémon was originally a pitiful plush doll that was thrown away.

Ludicolo. The Carefree Pokémon. Upon hearing an upbeat and cheerful rhythm, the cells in Ludicolo's body become very energetic and active. Even in battle, this Pokémon will exhibit an amazing amount of power.

Delcatty. The Prime Pokémon. Delcatty prefers to live an unfettered existence in which it can do as it pleases at its own pace. Because this Pokémon eats and sleeps whenever it decides, its daily routines are completely random.

Reuniclus. The Multiplying Pokémon. When Reuniclus shake hands, a network forms between their brains, increasing their psychic power.

Later...

"Now just watch, Delcatty, Ice Beam!"

Delcatty fires Ice Beam in the air that causes several snowflakes to fall on them then four spins around them.

"Thunderbolt!"

Banette fired Thunderbolt while she twirls then jumped on Vinnyl's shoulder and Vinnyl did her hip-hop dance.

"Ludicolo, Attract!"

"Renuniclus, Hammer Arm!"

Lucdicolo created several hearts as Renuniclus smashed them down with Hammer Arm, making sparkles then all of them posed.

"Finish."

"So, what do you guys think? Be honest," Octavia asked.

"Well I was thinking you could coordinate their dance a little better," Rarity said.

"I was thinking the Attract could be a bit flashier," Applejack told them.

"It would be a really big help you if you show us yours," Vinnyl requested.

"Well, to be honest, I'm not ready to show anyone just yet," Sernea told her.

"I wanna see it, please?" Bonnie asked.

"I'd like to see it, too," Sunset stated.

"Same," Hilda added.

"I don't see why not? Fennekin? Pancham? Chimchar? Froslass? Whimscott? You guys want to do it?" Serena asked them and all of them nodded then Chespin slammed into Pancham.

"Why is Chespin doing that?" Twilight asked.

"He's still wanting to show Pancham up," Rainbow told her then both of them started to fight.

"Golduck?" Hilda asked, Golduck nodded and separated the two.

"Chespin, would you like to be in the performance too?" Serena asked.

"Chespin!" It nodded.

"I've got it!" Clemont smirked making Chespin perked up in fear. If that's what you want, leave everything to me."

"Oh, no," Rainbow and Applejack cringed at the sound of what he said.

"The future is now thanks to science, Clemontic Gear on! I've got the perfect machine for a situation like this. So I present to you my Only-Lonley-Robo Partner."

"What is that?" Octavia asked.

"My big brother's an inventor," Bonnie said.

"Power on. Okay, Chespin, now you can dance to your heart's content."

Chespin looked terrified as the device headed towards him and proceed to dance.

"Chespin! Chespin!"

"Wow, science is so amazing!" Ash exclaimed.

"I don't that Chespin likes what happening," Fluttershy stated.

"What's he saying?" Pinkie asked.

"That he wants the machine to let him go," Fluttershy replied as the device spun Chespin in the air then pick him back with steam coming out.

"Uh oh," Bonnie said.

"Something's gone wrong," Jaden stated.

"Chespin!"

"Dude, turned it off!" Rainbow said to him.

"As soon as I can find the off button."

"How do you not know where you put that!?"

Then on cue, it blew up their faces.

"Once again, another invention bites the dust," Clemont said then coughs up some smoke.

Sometime later...

"Good luck you two," Sunset told them.

"Break a leg," Hilda added.

"Let's do this," Serena said.

Chimchar started it off by doing Flame Wheel around creating a circle of fire, then Fennekin and Pancham jumped into Serena as Whimscott jumped into Rartiy's hands and both of them threw them into the air. Fennekin used Flamethore as she spun in the air and Whimsicot did Razor Leaf. Froslass and Pancham did flips in the center of the fire then he places his sunglasses over his eyes. Then Serena and Rarity caught both Fennekin and Whimscott and set them on the ground. The six of them danced for a bit till Pancham and Froslass fired Dark Pulse and Ice Beam into the air then Whimscott fired Moonblast. It swirled up to the Dark Pulse and Ice Beam, causing fireworks to happen and the bits to fall to the ground.

None of them realized that Team Rocket was spying on them.

"Pokémon Showcase practicing?" James was puzzled.

" A waste of time. Without batting an eyelash," Jessie scoffed. "Me and Adagio will be the best duo of the Showcase."

"You know it," Adagio smiled then both of them high five each other. "Hey look, that Delcatty looks so refined."

"We'll catch it, and win."

"What about Pikachu?" Sonata asked.

"First things first! Catching that Delcatty is high on my list," Adagio said. "Then we grab Pikachu. Their path to stardom shall know worldwide. "

"Whoopee," James, Meowth, and Clyde said in remorse.

"Murkrow?"

"You said it," Duke agreed with him.

"Gag me," Aria grumbles as her Pokémon hugged her. "Thanks, I needed it."

With the others...

"Wow, that was amazing," Twilight complimented.

"I loved it," Fluttershy said.

"It was good, but I felt like Pancham's acrobatics didn't fit with the rest of the performance," Octavia noted.

"Really?" Serena asked.

"Pancham's movements were swift and strong but... they don't seem to mesh what you and others are doing," Vinnyl explained. "Don't get me wrong it's nice. But you still work on trusting each other."

"I'll have to think about it," Serena said as Vinnyl's Banette got up alongside Froslass and started to flirt with her which made him shirt uncomfortably from him, but he remained persistent.

"Banette, what's going on? Do you have a crush on Froslass?"

"Really on Froslass? Wait does that mean Froslass is a girl?" Rairty asked as Froslass nervously nodded to her.

"I think I need to learn the importance of dance choreography," Serena chuckled.

Then suddenly a car went past the gang and stopped not far from them. Three men and a woman then stepped out.

"Well not too bad, I guess. Are you kiddos interested in Pokémon Performance?"

"Yes we are," Serena answered then the man introduced the woman but neither Rainbow nor Applejack was listening as their attention was focused on Grovyle and Combusken who popped out of their Pokéballs.

"What's up you two?" Rainbow asked.

"Cobusk!"

"Gro!"

"I feel both of you, there's something fishy with them," Applejack said.

"Same, let's keep an eye on them," Rainbow told her as they return their Pokémon.

"So, any Pokémon volunteers?"

The Pokémon plus Chespin who still wanted one-up Pancham, stood in line with a woman inspecting them,

"Quite the assortment we have here, General rule of thumb, Whatever moves you use, move them with style."

The next thing they bring out was an inflatable ball that opened so Pokémon could fit inside.

"Now will have all of you dance inside this balloon. By working in a small space you become more economical."

"Great," Serena said as the Pokémon uncluing Chespin got in.

"Gotcha," one of them pressed a button which made the balloon trap them all.

"What's going on? I thought were having a lesson?" Octavia asked then all of them dropped their disguises.

"Prepare for trouble, a lesson it is!"

"And make it double. You're in the wrong biz!"

"To protect the world from devastation,"

"To untie all people within our nation,"

"To denounce the evils of two left!"

"Face it! Our footwork is frightfully heat!"

"Jessie."

"James."

"Duke."

"And Clyde."

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for a footloose fight!"

"Meowth that's right!"

"Houndour!"

"Murkrow!"

"Team Rocket!"

"Team Who?" Vinnyl asked.

"Bad people who steal other people's Pokémon!" Rainbow explained.

"Did they steal our Pokémon?"

"Oh yeah, we did!" Aria exclaimed as she, Adagio, and Sonata were in their balloon and hoist the balloon up. "The new losers are quick!"

"Gotta fly!" Duke grinned.

"Bye!" Clyde smirked as the guys and Meowth climbed up.

"There's only one true queen and that happened to be me. So ahead and practice until your faces turn blue. Say that might just look good on you," Jessie grinned as got on their balloon and took off.

"Come back here, Team Rocket!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Give us back our Pokémon!" Vinnyl exclaimed.

"You can have this!" Cylde threw a smoke bomb right at them forcing them to cover their eyes and allowing them to escape.

"What do we do?" Octavia asked.

"This. Swellow, come on out!" Rainbow called her out.

"Swell!"

"Go up and find Team Rocket's Balloon."

Swellow nodded and took to the skies and went after them.

Meanwhile...

"Well, that was easy," Aria said.

"Some days our gig is bright, bubbly, and breezy," Meowth said as the balloon started to rock due to Chespin and Pancham fighting each other

"Stop that, you're... rocking... the...boat!" Sonata exclaimed.

Then the coupling snapped and the ball started to fall to the ground. They hit the ground and bounced multiple times causing the Pokémon to be dizzy then it finally popped freeing them.

"Where are we?" Pancham asked.

"I wish I knew,' Froslass said.

"Everyone okay?" Chimchar asked.

"Define okay." Chespin requested.

"We're alright," Banette, Ludicolo, Decatty, and Renuinclus replied.

"Okay, which way do we go?" Whimscott asked.

"I said we go this way," Both Chespin and Pancham pointed in opposite directions.

"Allow me," Renuinclus used its Psychic power. "Let's go straight."

"I'll lead."

"No, I'll lead," Chespin stepped in front of Pancham before they started fighting.

"If you won't stop fighting, then I'll lead," Fennekin exclaimed as she walked past them.

"Nice going," Froslass rolled her eyes then an Inkay and Misdreavous appear.

"This isn't going well," Axew said.

"Look we found them!" Inkay said then they floated away at max speed.

"Get back here!" Pacham chased after them then he ran back with Team Rocket behind him. "Bad idea! Bad idea!"

"The jig is up, you're staying put," Aria said.

"The game is over," James added.

"It's quitting time," Duke told the Pokémon as Chespin and Pancham squabbled with each other.

"Any idea what they're jabbering about?" Adagio asked.

"You know. Leave it to me, I'll do it, no, I'll do it...dumb stuff like that," Mewoth answered.

"Use Psybeam, Inkay."

Inkay fired Psybeam at the two but their fight forced them out of the way as it was about strike Banette and the others then Axew jumped in and took the attack and he fell to the ground.

"Axew! Are you alright?" Chimchar asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Axew answered. "Are you guys okay?"

"Yeah, thanks to you," Delcatty replied.

Both Banette and Ludicolo fired Thunderbolt and Energy Ball at Inkay which scored a direct hit. Then Staraptor fired Air Slash at both of them making them fall down but not before Delcatty and Reuniclus fired their attacks at Staraptor making it flinch then Magnemite used Sonic Boom on them. Fennekin, Chimchar, Froslass, and Whimscott attack them then Slugma hit them all with Rock Slide.

"Let's put a pin on this, and deal with these guys," Pancham said.

"Agreed." Chespin complied then the two stood in front of the ground of the downed Pokémon.

"You kidding us, what are you going to do? Argue us to sleep?" Aria mocked. "Fire Blast!"

Pancham and Chespin jumped over the Fire Blast then Pancham used Arm Thurst on Misdrevous which went right through then Chespin fired Pin Missile to her back.

"Nice one."

"You too."

"Look, like you two are getting along," Axew got up. "Now let's beat the jerks."

"Hooray, aren't we round of ourselves," Aria grumbled.

"Staraptor, Steel Wing!"

Chespin used Vine Whip to hit her but she avoided them. Chespin's vines kept going wrapped around a tree he tackled into Staratpor.

"Now, Flash Cannon!"

Manganmite fired with Chespin was still in the air but Pancham countered with Dark Pulse.

"Thanks for the cover."

"No problem!"

"Pumpkaboo, Leech Seed!"

Pumpkaboo sent seeds their way but Axew jumped in and use Dragon Claw to destroy them.

"You all okay?!" Ash asked as the gang appeared.

"The Twerps!" Duke and Cylde exclaimed.

"Uh-oh!" Sonata gulped.

"NOO! I knew these bores would show up sooner or later," Jessie worried. "Shadow Ball!"

"Use your Shadow Ball, too!"

Both Pumpkaboo and Misdreavus fire multiple Shadow Balls at Chespin and Pancham and the two dodged them. Pancham threw Chespin towards them, then wrap them around with Vine Whip and threw them at Pancham, who fired Dark Pulse at them.

"Wow, Pancham and Chespin are battling like a team!" Pinkie commented.

"When did this happen?" Hilda asked Axew.

(Let's just say you missed a few things.)

"Pancham, that's great!"

"Way to go, Chespin!"

"Let us take it from here," Twilight and Sunset step forward.

"Are you ready? Espeon?"

"Esp!"

"How about you, Flareon?"

"Flare!"

"Psybeam!" "Flamethrower!"

The two moves fused and hit Team Rocket's Pokémon sending them to their trainers.

"Swellow, Hyper Beam!"

Swellow fired Hyper Beam right at Team Rocket causing an explosion and sending them flying.

"I hate when a perfect plan goes down the drain," Duke said.

"Unfair!" Jessie shrieked.

"Such behavior is not betting a queen," James said to her.

"In her dreams," Aria added.

'"I can hear you!"

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Sontata screamed as they disappear.

"Oh, I'm so glad everyone's okay," Fluttershy said.

"Yeah, you really saved the day," Serena said to Pancham and Chespin.

"Great job. You two really worked well together," Clemont commented.

"See, you really are friends," Zane stated then Pancham boasted then Chespin boasted as well then two glare at them making Serena and Clemont collapse.

"Serv?"

"Let them fight, Servine, sometimes that's what friendship is," Twilight told Servine.
