Phew… Schoolworks… Sorry for the long wait… The world of Fire Emblem was replaced for the one of Assassin's Creed 2 (the DWD Direct Chapter was modified), one of my favorite games but sadly the saving data from that game was damaged mysteriously in the Xbox One of my brother and it is unable to fix it, but luckily I managed to buy Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection for Nintendo Switch; also Ezio appears as guest character in SoulCalibur V. This chapter celebrates the Ezio's Collection too.
CHAPTER 48
Italia Rinascimentale
Italia Rinascimentale: Firenze - San Giovanni District
Rika with Renamon, Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Raye, Link with Proxi, Li and Meilin appeared in an Italian city set in the Renaissance period.
"Where are we?" Shippo asked.
"I think we're in Italy, but…" Kagome was saying.
"Have we traveled to the past?" Li asks confused.
"I think this is how the world looks." Raye said.
"We should explore the place." Proxi suggested.
They nodded before exploring the place, meanwhile in a bridge there are two children, one is a blond-haired boy wearing light blue buttoned shirt, dark blue pants, black shoes and a belt-like device in his abdomen, and another is a brown-haired girl with pink cheeks wearing a like coral-colored short-sleeved jacket with a hoodie, white shirt, light yellow shorts and pink shoes.
"Where are we?" The girl asked.
"I have no idea." The boy asked.
"Maybe we should ask those people." The girl suggested while noticing the group and decided to approach the group. "Excuse me."
"Are you talking to us?" Shippo asked.
"Yes, do you know where we are?" The girl asked.
"Apparently we're in Italy but in another age." Kagome answered.
"Can you tell us your names, mistresses?" The boy asked them before introducing himself. "My name is Yugo Aoyama."
Meilin, Kagome, Raye and Rika sweatdropped in annoyment after being called mistresses.
"I'm Ochaco Uraraka." The girl called Uraraka introduced herself.
"I'm Rika Nonaka." Rika introduced herself.
"My name is Renamon." Renamon introduced herself.
"I'm Kagome Higurashi." Kagome introduced herself.
"My name is Shippo." Shippo introduced himself.
"I'm Inuyasha." Inuyasha introduced himself.
"I'm Raye Hino." Raye introduced herself.
"I'm Link and she is Proxi." Link introduced himself and his fairy.
"Hello." Proxi greeted.
"I'm Li Showron." Li introduced himself.
"I'm Meilin Rae." Meilin introduced herself.
"I see you three come from Japan too." Uraraka said referring to Rika, Raye and Kagome.
"It's true." Raye said.
"How did you two ended here?" Renamon asked.
"It happened after the League of Villains kidnapped Bakugo." Aoyama answered.
"We tried to visit Deku in the hospital until a weird portal appeared from nowhere, I tried to avoid being caught by using my quirk but the force of the portal was so strong." Uraraka explained.
"What is a quirk?" Rika asked.
"Oh, watch this." Uraraka said before touching a pot and managed to lift it in seconds.
"Is that psychic force?" Rika asked.
"Something like that, but this is my quirk, zero gravity." Uraraka answered.
"Now watch this." Aoyama said before his device shoots a sparkling laser.
"What was that?" Raye asked.
"It's called Navel Laser." Aoyama answered.
"That's the most ridiculous name of quirk I've ever heard." Rika said with whitened eyes in annoyment.
"Yeah, me too." Meilin said with the same eyes.
"Do you guys have a quirk?" Uraraka asked.
"I can summon a Keyblade." Rika said before summoning her Keyblade.
"I never watched something like that before." Aoyama said.
"I also have this." Rika said pulling out her D-Ark. "It allows my Digimon to Digivolve or use cards to use attacks from other Digimon."
"I can transform into Sailor Mars and use fire attacks." Raye said.
"Fire, just like Shoto, but his quirk is Half-Cold Half-Hot." Uraraka said.
"I can use fire too, but also I can summon statues." Shippo said.
"Maybe I don't know about the quirks but I can climb trees and I'm very skillful with the sword too." Inuyasha said before swinging his sword and putting it behind his back.
"I'm skilfull with the sword and also I can use spells." Li said.
"I wield the Master Sword, known as the Blade of Evil's Bane." Link said.
"Maybe I don't have superpowers, but I'm very good at archery." Kagome said.
"I don't have superpowers, but I'm very good at kung fu." Meilin said.
"Now you mentioned that a boy called Bakugo was kidnapped, we're trying to find someone too, his name is Ryo." Rika said changing the subject before asking. "Have you two seen him along with his Digimon partner called Cyberdramon?"
"Sorry, but no." Uraraka answered.
"We don't meet him either." Aoyama said.
"I'll suggest searching them through the rooftops." Inuyasha said before jumping and landing on a rooftop but an archer guard watched him.
"Hey, you don't have allowed stay there, get down stronzo (stupid)!" The guard ordered Inuyasha.
"Make me!" Inuyasha said preparing to lunge towards the guard.
"Get down or die!" The guard gave the second warning as he was pulling out his bow.
However, Inuyasha lunges towards the guard but…
"Inuyasha, sit!" Kagome said.
Then the force makes Inuyasha drop to the ground.
"Kagome, he could be dangerous…!" Inuyasha said in pain.
"There are laws in Italy too, therefore only the archers are allowed to stay on the rooftops." Kagome said.
"Kagome has a point, we must walk in the street and avoid calling the attention of the people too." Raye added.
"Alright, you win…" Inuyasha said reluctantly.
Then they walk across the streets of Firenze, apparently everything was peaceful until they see a young man in white robes watching a building.
"Don't worry father, I will finish what you have started." The young man spoke.
"Your father?" Raye asked by curiosity.
Then the young man turned to see the group.
"I've never seen you before, where do you come from?" The young man asked.
"Very far from Italy." Kagome answered.
"What is your name, sir?" Uraraka asked.
"Ezio Auditore da Firenze (of Florence)." Ezio introduced himself and after the introductions. "What brings you here to Firenze?"
"We're trying to find two disappeared friends, one is Ryo." Rika answered.
"And the other is Bakugo, but he is a bit cranky." Aoyama added.
"Scusi (Sorry), but no." Ezio answered.
"What are you doing here?" Shippo asked.
Ezio sighed before answering. "Six years ago, I was having an ordinary life in Firenze (Florence), until Rodrigo Borgia was conspiring against the Republic of Florence, including my family, to make things worse he was responsible for killing my father and my brothers."
"I'm sorry about that." Meilin said.
"Can you allow us to help you?" Li asked.
"I don't know, this is something that I end myself for my father. The Pazzi are dead, but there are more templars in Venezia (Venice), and I must assassinate them." Ezio answered.
"Assassinate them? But this is a crime!" Kagome exclaimed.
"My father was an assassin before, but he fought for the freedom of man when it was most threatened." Ezio explained calmly.
"Look, you aren't the only one who lost your father, therefore I'll join too." Shippo said.
"Grazie mille (Thanks a lot)." Ezio said. "Now follow me."
"Where are we going?" Aoyama asked.
"The Palazzo Medici." Ezio answered.
Then they follow Ezio across the city of Firenze.
Firenze - San Marco District
They arrive into a palace with red flags with a yellow shield on them and red circles and in the palace they see a black haired man wearing blue duke robes.
"Lorenzo de' Medici." Ezio called him.
"Ezio, it's a surprise to see you." Lorenzo was saying until he noticed the group. "But who are them?"
"They're my new friends." Ezio answered.
After the introductions.
"It's a piacere (pleasure) to meet you all." Lorenzo said.
"There is one thing that I must tell you, the Pazzi are dead. Every one of them." Ezio informed Lorenzo.
"I must admit, I've never before believed I could desire the death of others so badly." Lorenzo said.
"Nor, I…" Ezio said.
"Ezio, thank you for the role you've played in keeping this dream of mine alive a little longer." Lorenzo said.
"L'onore e mio (It is my honor)." Ezio spoke in Italian.
The team members were confused but it is the language of Italy.
"What will you do now figliolo (my boy)?" Lorenzo asked.
"There are still others I must hunt, Signore. They're already digging their claws into the heart of Venezia." Ezio answered.
"No! La bella Venezia… (Beautiful Venice…) Then that is where your journey must take you, Ezio. Before you leave us… I have something for you. A gift." Lorenzo said before waving over a servant, who carried a cape with the same symbol of his flags in the palace. "This cape identifies you as a friend of the Medici. As long as you wear it, the city guards will be more tolerant of your actions. But be warned, it will not grant you immunity from the law."
Ezio nodded before taking the Medici cape.
"Che la fortuna favorisca la tua lama (May fortune favor your blade)." Lorenzo said in Italian before turning to the children. "And you figli (children), as long as you are with Ezio, the guards will also be tolerable about your actions. But be careful, the guards sent by the templars won't exercise their strength because you're children, they will kill you if they get a chance."
They nodded before leaving the palace.
Firenze - San Giovanni District
They were in the same district where the group arrived where Ezio was in a building knocking at the door.
"Leonardo!? Leonardo!" Ezio said with concern.
"Are you talking about Leonardo da Vinici?" Kagome asked.
"Yes, he is a family friend." Ezio answered.
Then a civilian appeared facing the group.
"Mi dispiace, Messere (I am sorry, sir), but he is gone. Maestro Leonardo was commissioned by a Venetian noble to paint some portraits. He paid for the Maestro to move his entire workshop to Venezia. It's quite an opportunity!" He said.
"Grazie mille (Thanks a lot), friend." Ezio said.
"Let me guess, we're going to Venice now?" Kagome said.
"Yes, but before going to Venizie, we must go to Monteriggioni first." Ezio said.
They nodded before going to the next part but unknown to them, a messenger in red clothes (Borgia's messengers) watched Ezio and the others before running to somewhere.
Monteriggioni: Outside
They arrive in another town.
"Where are we now?" Rika asked.
"In Villa Auditore, Monteriggioni." Ezio answered.
When they enter the village they see buildings like a bank, doctor, tailor, blacksmith, art merchant, church, brothel, thieves' guild and military barracks, they walk until they arrive at a giant house.
House of Auditore: Main Hall
In the entrance the room is made of marble and there are also different paintings from the Italian Renaissance (The Birth of Venus and Lady with an Ermine included, previously appeared in "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" chapter), everything was peaceful as they went to the next room.
House of Auditore: Workshop
In another room they see several shelves lined with books, and a scale replica of Monteriggioni, also there is an architect and a brown-skinned girl wearing noble clothes working in a book.
"Is that a scale replica of Monteriggioni?" Kagome asked.
"Yes, we managed to restore the villa (village)." Ezio answered.
They went to the next room.
House of Auditore: Mario's study
In the room there is a desk, a board on the wall with different pages, a secret passage and a man in red mercenary clothes.
"Buon giorno, Uncle Mario." Ezio greeted him.
The group winked in surprise, meeting another person with the same name.
"Buon giorno, Ezio. Come in, come in! I see you brought company too! To what do we owe the honor?" Uncle Mario said.
"We're trying to wonder why Ezio assassinated the Pazzi?" Li asked.
"Vieri de' Pazzi troubled us before because he and his family were templars and we are Assassins. But the Pazzi were working for Rodrigo Borgia, one of the most powerful men in all of Europe and leader of the Templar Order." Uncle Mario answered.
"The one who murdered Ezio's father." Shippo said.
"Yes. Now I have something to show you all." Uncle Mario said.
They went to the secret passage and they were going through the stairs they introduced themselves.
House of Auditore: Sanctuary
They arrived at a circular chamber made of stone with six different statues and the last one is behind the bars.
"Listen, figli. Maybe you know that the assassins are bad, but..." Mario Auditore was explaining. "This is the Sanctuary. It was built by my great-grandfather to honor the memory of the Assassin order and protect its secrets. Look around! These are the assassins who guarded the freedom of humanity when it was most threatened."
Now they know that there are good assassins.
"And this is the armor of Altaïr. Little is known about Altaïr's life, but his armor is light and very strong. Ezio managed to find three assassin seals, the other three seals are located in crypts, hidden tombs filled with treasures." Mario Auditore kept explaining.
"Who is the assassin with the bow and a quiver of arrows?" Kagome asked.
"He is Qulan Gal, the Mongolian assassin. He used a bow and arrow to shoot Genghis Khan's horse." Uncle Mario answered.
"Who is the one with the blade on his wrist?" Inuyasha asked referring to the statue with the seal of the hidden blade.
"He is Darius, the Persian assassin. He used his hidden blade to kill Xerxes." Uncle Mario answered.
"Who is the assassin with the spear?" Aoyama asked referring to the statue with the seal of the spear.
"He is Wei Yu, the Chinese assassin. He used a spear to kill the first Chinese Emperor, Qin Shi Huang." Uncle Mario answered.
"Who is the one with the cobra?" Meilin asked.
"She is Amunet, the Egyptian assassin. She killed Cleopatra with a cobra." Uncle Mario answered.
"Is she another assassin?" Raye asked noticing the statue who has the seal of a potion.
"Yes, she is Iltani, the Babylonian assassin. She poisoned Alexander the Great." Uncle Mario answered.
"And who is the last one?" Rika asked.
"He is Leonius, the Roman assassin. He stabbed Caligula with a dagger." Uncle Mario answered.
"Those six were assassins, but they are the good guys and the templars are the bad guys." Kagome said.
"Yes." Uncle Mario said before turning to Ezio. "Where are you going now?"
"To Venezia (Venice), there are more templars there." Ezio answered.
"Bene, ti auguro buona fortuna per il tuo viaggio (Well, I wish you good luck on your journey)." Uncle Mario told them.
Some members were slightly confused by the Italian language but they nodded before departing.
Rome: Sistine Chapel
The same messenger from Firenze arrived at Rome to watch a man wearing red robes and a black cloak with a hood.
"Rodrigo Borgia, I came to inform you that the assassin survived and now he has more allies!" The messenger explained.
"The assassin!? More allies!?" The man called Rodrigo Borgia said before instructing the messenger as the guards were listening about Ezio (regular, enforcers, agile, brutes, archers and seekers). "Tell the troops to kill him, you must make sure that he never reaches Venezia (Venice) and kill anyone who is allied with the assassin."
The guards accepted the orders of Rodrigo before departing.
"I worked a long time on this plan, and I will get rid of anyone who gets in my way." Rodrigo Borgia said.
Apennine Mountains
In a zone in the mountains two Dimensional Rifts appeared which came out a black haired man wearing a black sleeveless vest, dark blue pants, a red scarf around his waist and black boots, and a long blond-haired man wearing silver knight armor and has a scar on the left side of his face.
"This is not Persia…" The black-haired man said.
"Where will be Nightmare and the Soul Edge?" The blond-haired man asked.
Then they stared at each other while holding their weapons ready to attack.
"Who are you?" The black-haired man asked.
"I was going to ask the same question." The blond-haired man said.
"I'm Dastan, the prince of Persia." Dastan introduced himself (only in the movie he has a name).
"My name is Siegfried." Siegfried introduced himself. "Now I must search for Nightmare."
"There is a problem where I come from too, there is another item which can manipulate events through time, and it's more powerful than the Sands of Time." Dastan explained before saying. "I'll suggest advancing together."
"Hmph, whatever." Siegfried said before walking away.
Meanwhile back with the group, they saw a blond-haired man wearing a painter's outfit who was below a broken carriage.
"Leonardo!" Ezio called him and the person called Leonardo watched to see Ezio and the others.
"Ezio? What luck! I... er, have run into a bit of trouble. And I see you made nuovi amici (new friends) too." Leonardo said.
"Let us see if we can help." Uraraka said.
"I know how to fix it, but lack the means to do so." Leonardo said. "If you could just lift the wagon?"
Then the team members lifted up the wagon as they saw a glider-like invention inside the carriage.
"What is this thing?" Ezio asked.
"Eh?" Leonardo asked.
"It looks like a giant bat." Raye said.
"Oh, nothing, just an idea I've been working on." Leonardo said, then they lowered the carriage. "I could not leave it behind."
Leonardo finally managed to complete his repairs.
"What is it for?" Ezio asked.
"Well, I shouldn't really talk about it... al diavolo (To hell with it), I can't hold it in any more! Ezio, I think I have figured out how to make a man fly!" Leonardo said.
Ezio laughed before saying. "Come on, I'll drive."
"But I haven't even told you where I'm going?" Leonardo said.
"Don't worry, you're going to Venice and us too." Kagome said.
The group climbed into the carriage and set off, Ezio and Leonardo were in front while the others were inside the carriage, the group introduced themselves and later Leonardo was describing the beauty of Venice.
"Venezia (Venice), such a beautiful city. So many sources of inspiration! Ponte de Rialto, Piazzo San Marco, L'Arsenale…" Leonardo was saying.
Ezio noticed that something was wrong before shushing Leonardo.
"What's wrong?" Raye asked.
"We're not alone." Ezio said.
"I can hear someone coming here." Renamon said.
"Uhh… we have some company…" Aoyama says nervously.
Then agile guards appear riding horses and they are going towards the group and Ezio urges the horses of the carriage into a gallop.
"What's happening? Who are they?" Leonardo asked.
"Rodrigo Borgia's men." Ezio answered.
"Why? What do they want with us?" Leonardo asked.
Then an arrow struck between them.
"I think they want us dead. Leonardo, hide!" Ezio said.
Leonardo climbed inside of the carriage, while Ezio stayed outside to direct the horses.
"Let's help him too." Rika said and they nodded.
"Mars Crystal Power!" Raye said and transformed into Sailor Mars.
"Let's get ready to fight!" Inuyasha said.
"But I cannot hurt those guards…!" Kagome said hesitating to fight.
"We don't have another choice, Kagome! If we don't do anything they will kill us!" Raye said and Kagome nodded.
Many of the agile guards riding their horses were following the carriage, but Link shoots arrows at the guards knocking them off of the horses, Kagome shoots her own arrows too, Rika casts Firaga, Renamon uses Diamond Storm, Sailor Mars uses uses Mars Flame Sniper, Li uses Thunder Ofuda to cast Thunder and zap the agile guards, Inuyasha uses Windscar towards the agile guards and Aoyama was firing sparkling lasers (Navel Laser) from his belt-like device in his abdomen against the guards who were pursuing them. However, more guards were coming and one of them climbed above the carriage.
"They're trying to climb on board!" Leonardo said.
"Leave it to me!" Uraraka said before touching the agile guard and used her quirk to launch the agile guard off of the carriage.
"Oh no!" Shippo exclaimed watching in front.
Then they saw a seeker burning the wooden bridge.
"Hold on tight! This is going to be a little rough!" Ezio said.
Then Uraraka managed to touch the bridge, luckily avoiding the flames too and managed to hold the entire wooden bridge steady. The carriage managed to cross the bridge but archers sent by Rodrigo Borgia began to fire lit arrows towards the carriage.
"Watch out!" Proxi told them.
Then Ezio drove the carriage to avoid the flames and obstacles but Uraraka was feeling nauseating after using the Zero Gravity quirk.
"What's wrong Uraraka?" Meilin asked.
"I think she's going to throw up!" Sailor Mars said with her face colored blue.
"Do it out of the carriage!" Kagome exclaimed.
Then Uraraka vomited outside the carriage but the vomit splattered in the face of one of the guards.
"Schifoso!" An agile guard exclaimed with his face covered in vomit before falling from his horse.
Then Kagome and Link launched arrows at the archers who were launching arrows with fire while the others were managing to defeat the agile guards riding the horses.
"Hold on, Ezio! We're almost there! Be more careful, or we won't be able to fix it next time!" Leonardo said.
When the carriage reached the bridge, Leonardo came out of hiding and sat next to Ezio.
"Go, Leonardo! They're here for me, not you! We'll catch up with you later!" Ezio told him.
While Leonardo took the reins, Ezio and the others jumped from the vehicle to face the guards.
"They've got swords!" One of the guards pointed in fright seeing Rika with the Keyblade and Li with his sword.
"You idiots!" An enforcer berated his men. "We've all got swords!"
*BATTLE - FIELD (LOZ: BREATH OF THE WILD)*
"Let's take care of them." Ezio said before pulling out a scimitar.
"They must be the assassin's allies!" A brute guard said.
"Let's kill them too!" An agile guard said.
"Ugh! Let's take care of them!" Proxi growled.
The enforcers readied their swords, the regular soldiers readied their hamers, the agile guards pulled out knives, the brutes soldiers prepared their axes and seekers pulled out their lances. The enforcers swung their swords but Link moved his shield forwards to block the attack and disarm the enforcers too before slashing them with the Master Sword, Ezio managed to counterattack against the soldiers with his scimitar, Inuyasha attacks swinging his sword against the guards, Sailor Mars uses Burning Mandala to burn the brutes soldiers and collapsed charred to the ground, Aoyama shoots lasers from his device against the agile guards, Uraraka grabbed a tree easily thanks to the Zero Gravity quirk before to hit the guards and sending them to fly far away from the place, Li uses Fire Ofuda to cast Fire and summon a powerful stream of fire from his sword against the seeker guards, some archers from before approached to Meilin trying to punch but she surprisingly managed to beat them with her kung fu skills, Kagome launches arrows against the other archers who were distant from the other guards, Rika casts Blizzaga and Renamon uses Diamond Storm against the guards. However, more guards were coming but Dastan and Siegfried heard the battle.
"What's happening there?" Dastan asked.
"I don't know but they're having a battle." Siegfried said.
In the battle.
"I never thought you would survive after meeting Rodrigo Borgia in Tuscany." An enforcer soldier said facing Ezio.
"What do you want from us!?" Rika asked before using Strike Raid against another guard to knock him out.
"Nothing personal, these are simply orders from Rodrigo Borgia." The enforcer guard answered.
Then Dastan and Siegfried joined to the fight, Dastan jumped about a brute guard before slashing him in the back with his sword, an agile guard tried to slash Dastan but he disarmed the guard by using his sword and pulled out a dagger before slashing the agile guard and kicking him, Siegfried realizes a thrusting slash with his sword against the guards, he followed by realizing a 360° slash and striking his sword to the ground creating ice spikes hitting the soldiers.
"Retreat! Retreat!" An enforcer guard ordered.
*ENDS*
Knowing that they're being beaten, the guards ran away.
"Thanks for the help." Raye said.
"Thanks are not necessary." Siegfried said.
"Do we know each other?" Ezio asked seeing Siegfried.
"We're just getting to know each other." Siegfried said.
"What are your names?" Uraraka asked.
After the introductions.
"So, you come from Persia, do you know Darius, the Persian assassin?" Ezio asked before explaining. "He fought to defend the freedom in your country."
"The truth is that I never knew him." Dastan answered.
"Do you know who those men were?" Siegfried asked referring to the fallen guards.
"Men sent by Rodrigo Borgia to kill us." Ezio replied.
"Probably Rodrigo Borgia is hungry for power." Siegfried said.
"Now what are we gonna do?" Aoyama asked.
"We must catch up with Leonardo." Ezio answered.
Now newcomers joined the group and they went to the next zone.
Romagna: Countryside
The group arrived in a zone with marshes, wetlands and a number of scattered buildings.
"Where are we?" Li asked.
"We arrived in Romagna, Leonardo surely arrived safe." Ezio answered.
Then they moved across the place until they arrived in another town.
Romagna: Forlì
The group was in another town with people and guards doing their own business.
"There are guards here too." Meilin said.
"Don't worry, the red guards are the ones who work for Rodrigo Borgia." Ezio said.
They resumed across the town until Ezio saw a fortress with skull-like stone handle and Ezio went towards the fortress.
"Where are you going?" Shippo asked.
"There is an assassin's tomb there." Ezio said.
Then they follow Ezio to the fortress where he turns and slides down the stone handle and a secret passage is revealed.
"Let's go in." Ezio said.
Forlì: Rocca Di Ravaldino
The team was now in a dungeon.
"We must be careful, I was inside an assassin's tomb before and the guards were hostile." Ezio said.
"The ones from here are working for Rodrigo Borgia too?" Inuyasha asked.
"Probably yes, the previous guards were working for the Pazzi." Ezio said.
First they jumped to the water before passing at the other side.
"Get on my back." Inuyasha said to Kagome and Shippo, they nodded before climbing to his back.
"Do you remember the gym class?" Meilin asked Li and he nodded.
Then they jumped across the place, climbed walls and jumped while Aoyama used his Navel Laser to propel himself, Uraraka used Zero Gravity to lift herself, Rika used Flow-Motion to move across the place, Renamon doesn't have troubles to move across the place and the others followed Ezio's moves to arrive safely.
"The lever only opens the door in a few seconds but I'm going to hold it so you all can get through." Ezio said.
Then Ezio moved the lever which opened the door and they passed the door before it closed and the Italian assassin was the last one to pass the door, later they moved across the place, they dove in the water, jumped again, climbed the walls and jumped on the walls until they arrived into a guard house.
"There are many guards here." Shippo said.
A guard was securing the place until Ezio used the Hidden Blade from his right to stab the guard in the back and toss him to the ground, then they moved silently across the place while Ezio was stabbing the guards by using the Hidden Blade and they found another lever. Then Ezio moved the lever to hold it again while the others managed to pass and Ezio was the last one to pass the door, then Ezio did the same procedure with the next lever and later jumped across the walls until arrive at the guard barracks.
"There are more guards." Dastan said.
"Let's dispatch them silently." Ezio instructed.
They moved silently in the guard barracks while Ezio used the Hidden Blade to stab the guards and Dastan used the dagger to stab the guards too and jumped on a pile of straw which called the attention of a brute guard.
"I thought I heard something." The brute guard said before approaching the pile of straw.
Then Inuyasha grabbed the brute guard before pulling him to the pile of straw and they hit him repeatedly at the brute guard and left him unconscious.
"That was so close." Meilin said.
They moved across the walls again where they found another lever.
"That must be the last lever." Ezio said.
Ezio held the lever to keep the door open, then the others managed to arrive at the crypt as Ezio was the last in passing the door and by their surprise they saw the statue of Qulan Gal and the tomb of the Mongol assassin.
"It's the same statue that we saw in Monteriggioni." Kagome said.
"It's true." Sailor Mars agreed.
"Who is that person?" Dastan asked.
"Qulan Gal, the Mongolian assassin." Ezio said.
Ezio opened the sarcophagus and got the seal of the bow with a quiver of arrows.
"How are we going to get out of here?" Meilin asked.
Ezio used a special ability called Eagle Vision which allowed to see the team members emanating a blue aura indicating that they are good too and also identified a hatch.
"I found the exit, follow me." Ezio said.
Then Ezio opened the hatch and they went on it while exiting from the place too.
Romagna: Forlì
Later Ezio moved a circular hatch which allowed them to come out.
"Now let's go to see Leonardo." Ezio said.
The team moved across the town until arriving in the next area.
Romagna: Docks
They arrived at the docks.
"Ezio! Here! Over here!" Leonardo's voice called him.
"I heard someone." Renamon said.
"It's Leonardo." Ezio said.
Then they moved across the place until they arrived at a boat near the pier where Leonardo was waiting for them.
"Thank you, Ezio and your friends! You saved my life!" Leonardo said.
"We did what had to be done. You would have done the same." Ezio said.
"I doubt it. Bravery is not my strong suit. I owe you a debt, brother." Leonardo said.
"Di niente. (It's nothing.)" Ezio spoke in Italian.
"Tutti a bordo! Fra poco si salpa! (All aboard! We're leaving soon!)" The captain of the boat announced it in Italian.
Again they were confused by the Italian language.
"That's our traghetto (ferry.) Venezia awaits!" Leonardo said clearing up doubts.
"Where're your passes?" The captain asked the group.
"What pass?" Inuyasha asked.
"You don't have passes?" Leonardo said.
"You cannot enter Venezia without passes. Who invited you?" The captain asked them.
"We didn't know we needed passes to go to Venice." Sailor Mars said.
"And nobody invited us." Rika said.
"Basta! (Stop!) No pass, no entrance." The captain spoke.
"Don't worry, Leonardo. We'll come up with something." Ezio said.
Then they heard an orange-haired woman wearing a dark blue and red dress being surrounded by enemies like Corrupts Chamelemon and Dokugumon, Heartless like Marine Rumba, Vermilion Samba and Aerial Vikings.
"Don't just stand there! I need help!" The woman called.

"Let's go to save her!" Dastan said.
"What kind of monstruoso (monsters) are those?" Ezio asked referring to the Heartless and Corrupts Digimon.
"Heartless and Corrupts Digimon!" Renamon answered.
"I guess Heartless shouldn't have hearts." Ezio said.
"Less talk and more action!" Rika said.
They nodded before going to defeat the enemies who were trying to attack the woman, Rika attacks by using Firewheel and casts Thundaga, Renamon uses Spin Kick to attack with multiple roundhouse kicks and Palm Strike which she attacks with a strong hand strike, Li uses Wind Ofuda to casts Wind which he summons a gust of wind from his sword, Meilin realizes a flying kick and followed with an elbow strike, Aoyama uses his Navel Laser, Uraraka grabbed a log before spinning it around her to hit the enemies, Sailor Mars uses Mars Firebird Strike to hit the enemies, Inuyasha uses Windscar to hit the enemies, Kagome shoots arrows to the enemies, Link uses his hookshot to drag the enemies before slashing them with his sword, Ezio pulls out a Sultan's knife to slash quickly the enemies, Dastan realizes slashes with the sword and dagger, Shippo attacks by casting blue flames and Siegfried attacks by swinging his sword until to defeat the enemies.

"Madonna." Ezio said to the woman.
"Oh, you're good. The ladies must like you eight." The woman said to Ezio, Dastan, Siegfried, Link, Li, Shippo, Inuyasha and Aoyama.
"Saving people is what heroes do." Aoyama said.
"I wasn't looking to impress. Only to help someone in distress." Ezio said.
"Which is exactly WHY you impress. And you are Messer...?" The woman asked.
"Auditore. But, please, call me Ezio." Ezio said.
"My name is Kagome and they're Rika, Renamon, Inuyasha, Shippo, Sailor Mars, Link, Proxi, Li, Meilin, Uraraka, Aoyama, Prince Dastan and Siegfried." Kagome introduced herself and the others.
"I'm Caterina. Now, Ezio, we must find you and your friends a suitable reward... Do you have any suggestions?" The woman called Caterina said.
"There is… perhaps… something you could help us with…" Ezio was saying.
"I'm all ears." Caterina said.
Then they arrived with the captain of the boat and Caterina spoke to him.
"Yes Signora... Whatever you say Signora…" The captain said to Caterina who then turned to see the group.
"He won't trouble you any more. I... took care of it." Caterina said.
"Thank you, Caterina." Ezio said.
"Perhaps we'll see each other again... Should you ever find yourself in the city of Forlì, it would be my pleasure to welcome you…" Caterina said.
"I look forward to enjoying your hospitality." Ezio said.
Then Caterina left the place.
"Please accept my most humble apologies, Messers and Signoras. (Sirs and Ladies.) Had I known…" The captain said apologizing.
"It's quite alright, my friend." Ezio said.
Then the group set sail for Venezia.
"Be careful, Ezio. Do you know who that was?" Leonardo asked.
"My next conquest?" Ezio asked.
"I don't think so, Ezio! That's Caterina Sforza, daughter of the Duca di Milano. Her husband…" Leonardo explained.
"Husband?" Ezio asked.
"Si. (Yes.) Her husband is the Lord of Forlì. That woman is as powerful and dangerous as she is young and beautiful." Leonardo replied.
"Sembra come una donna per me. (Sounds like my kind of lady.)" Ezio spoke in Italian.
The boat sailed for Venezia.
Arcadia: Valua Empire
Meanwhile in another world which is a sea of clouds, there is a part which spans a storm-covered continent under a yellow moon and inside the castle there is a white-haired man wearing a black general uniform with a silver upper armor, dark red gloves and white boots.
"Those Blue Rogues are a real pain in my neck, we must get rid of them if we want to rule the entire Arcadia." The general said.
Suddenly he heard an evil laugh.
"We clearly know how you feel." A male voice said.
"Who is there!? Show yourself!" The general demanded.
Then a dark corridor appeared which came out Blackbeard and Davy Jones.
"What are two pirates doing in my empire!? Begone!" The general exclaimed.
"Sorry for invading your empire. But to make things short we will need your cooperation for what?" Davy Jones apologized.
"Cooperation for what?" The general asked.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves." Blackbeard said before introducing himself. "My name is Marshall D. Teach but everyone calls me Blackbeard, I'm the admiral of the Blackbeard Pirates."
"My name is Davy Jones, the captain of the Flying Dutchman." Davy Jones introduced himself.
"Very interesting, you may call me Lord Galcian, Lord Admiral of Valuan Imperial Armada." Lord Galcian introduced himself. "Now what do you want from me?"
"It's a long story." Davy Jones said.
"We'll need to join our team, our leader Bowser will agree to help you to fulfill your goals and destroy your nemesis too." Blackbeard said.
"What is the goal from your master?" Lord Galcian said.
"Bowser told us about a little human girl with a heart of pure light which is the key to rule the entire universe, also he agreed to divide universal domination between us." Davy Jones replied.
"Very well, I will prepare the troops to help your leader." Lord Galcian said while joining the Brotherhood of Evil.
Inkwell Islands: King Dice's Casino
In another distant world which is set in the cartoons of the 1930s, inside a casino there is a figure having a dice instead of a human head and he is wearing a purple suit, white gloves and lilac shoes.
"I'm Mr. King Dice, I'm the gamest in the land. I never play nice, I'm the Devil's right-hand man! I can't let you pass, 'cuz you ain't done everything. Bring me those contracts, c'mon, bring 'em to the King!" The figure called King Dice said singing and introducing himself too.
"Nice singing, mr. dicehead." A voice said and revealed himself as Oogie Boogie.
"Impressive, isn't it?" King Dice asked. "Did you come to play in my casino?"
"Not exactly, I'm going to need your help to realize something." Oogie Boogie said.
"Really, what is it?" King Dice asked and then Oogie Boogie whispered in King Dice's ear before realizing. "Oh, very interesting. Bowser will help me to get more souls for the Devil in this world if I help him to get a heart of pure light of a human girl. Very well, I enter your team and this time Cuphead's soul will be for the Devil."
Now a cartoonish character joined the team of villains.
Italia Rinascimentale: Venezia - San Polo District
Back with the group, they arrived in a city surrounded by canals.
"It's so weird, in Japan there are a lot of cars but now there are many boats." Inuyasha said getting memories from his first visit to Japan in the modern age.
"Venice is known for its canals and its main means of transportation are gondolas." Kagome explained.
Then a Venezian arrived to see the group.
"Messer da Vinci?" The Venetian said.
"Yes?" Leonardo said.
"Buongiorno e ben arrivato! I am Alvise. Il Signor Dona has asked that I escort you to the workshop. Are you ready?" The Venetian called Alvise said.
The team members nodded ready to depart.
"I think he is going to give us a tour around Venice." Sailor Mars said.
"Ah, Venezia! What other place is as beautiful, as stable, as perfect? Come, I will show you her wonders!" Alvise said.
The group walked around Venezia until they stopped to see a bridge.
"Our first stop, the Rialto bridge! Behold the elegance with which she spans the Grand Canal; a symbol of Venetian unity and pride! Let us continue." Alvise said.
They continued until they saw a church.
"Here we are: San Giacomo di Rialto. Oldest church in Venezia. Isn't she beautiful? And her clock tower? Magnifico!" Alvise said. "Come, come! There's more to see!"
They resumed and saw a market.
"No other city can match the size of Venezia's markets. Be it spices or silk, from near and far, there is... there is…" Alvise was saying until they saw three guards of Venezia were walking towards a merchant at a fish stand.
"You were told to stay home!" The guard said.
"But the rent is paid! I have every right to sell here!" The merchant replied.
"Emilio disagrees!" The guard said.
The guards proceeded to destroy the merchant's fish stand, but the group decided not to interfere to avoid causing trouble during the tour guide.
"No, stop! Stop!" The merchant exclaimed.
"Let us continue the tour... elsewhere." Alvise said.
The group continued the tour, and soon arrived at another shop. There, Leonardo saw a wooden mannequin on display and picked it up.
"Look! Isn't it amazing? Would you mind buying it for me? I... uh... I left my money with my bags.
"We just brought yens." Uraraka said.
Some members of the group only have yens since it's the coin used in Japan. Suddenly a group of thieves ran by, one of which nudged Ezio on the way past.
"Hey! Mind your step, coglione (jerk)!" Ezio said.
Ezio checked he still had his money pouch, Leonardo returned the figurine and they continued until they arrived to see white palace.
"And here we have the Palazzo della Seta, home to Emilio Barbarigo. Normally, I'd suggest a closer look, but... with the way things are now…" Alviso said.
"Why? What happened?" Ezio asked.
"He is attempting to unify the merchants beneath a single banner. There's been resistance, some of it violent." Alviso explained.
"What kind of resistance?" Dastan asked.
"They say they're fighting for the people; for freedom or some such nonsense. Baggianate (Nonsense), if you ask me." Alviso said.
"Look." Rika said noticing the same merchant from before going towards the Palazzo della Seta.
"They destroyed my stand. I demand compensation!" The merchant told the seeker guards.
"Here you are, then." The guard #1 before assaulting the merchant with the back end of his spear as the group witnessed the scene.
"The Doge will know about this! I'll report you to the Council!" The merchant exclaimed.
"Good luck with that, my friend." The guard #2 said.
Then the two guards grabbed the merchant.
"What are you doing!?" The merchant demanded.
"You're under arrest for disrupting commerce." The guard #3 answered.
"What?! You just invented that! There's no such law!" The merchant said.
"There is now." The guard #3 said.
"No! Stop!" The merchant exclaimed.
The guards carried the merchant away, knowing that they couldn't interfere with the laws of Venezia, they decided to keep going until they arrived in another building.
"And now, I present to you, your workshop, Ser da Vinci! We spared no expense in its design! You'll see it is perfect; as if you never left Firenze! I wish you great success and hope you enjoy Venezia as much as she enjoys having you." Alvise said, holding out his hand for a tip, but only received a pat on the shoulder from Leonardo. He walked away disappointed.
"So, here we are! Exciting, isn't it? Care to come in?" Leonardo asked.
"Maybe later." Ezio said.
"Something's not right here in Venezia." Siegfried said.
"We need to visit the Palazzo della Seta; try and gain an audience with Emilio." Ezio said.
"As you wish, but should you find yourself with free time or another Codex page, don't hesitate to visit. My door is always open." Leonardo said.
"Grazie (Thank you), my friend." Ezio said before hugging Leonardo.
"Di nulla. (It's nothing.)" Leonardo said.
After Leonardo entered inside his new workshop in Venezia, they started to speak about the events.
"Someone, what happened here?" Shippo asked.
"Yes, we watched how the guards destroyed the stand." Li said.
"They dragged the merchant inside the palace." Meilin said.
"And also they invented a stupid law before arresting the merchant." Sailor Mars said.
"I bet he has tyranny over Venice." Siegfried said.
"We must go towards the Palazzo della Seta." Ezio said.
They nodded before going towards the palace. Meanwhile in the rooftops two Dimensional Rifts appeared, in one came out Rayman and a blue anthropomorphic toad, and in the second portal two persons came out, both were wearing pants, one is red and the other is blue and brown shoes, and they have cups with a red-streaked straw and a blue-streaked straw respectively instead of human heads.
"Rayman, where are we?" The blue toad asked.
"I don't know, Globox." Rayman said.
"Cuphead, where are we?" The blue teacup asked.
"I don't know, Mugman." Cuphead said before watching his surroundings. "But we are on a rooftop."
"Hey, who are you two?" Rayman asked both cuphead characters.
"My name is Cuphead and he is my brother Mugman." Cuphead introduced himself and his brother Mugman.
"I'm Rayman and he is Globox." Rayman introduced himself and Globox.
"Rayman, something is happening down here." Globox said noticing down there guards destroying other stands.
"Maybe we should stop those guards before they destroy more stands." Mugman suggested and they nodded.
The four members went down as the guards kept destroying the stands until Rayman lunged his right hand to punch a guard, then Globox extended his tongue which caught another guard inside his mouth before spitting him to the water, the two cuphead brothers stomped above the guards.
"You four made a fatal mistake, stronzos (stupids)." An enforcer said menacingly.
"Which mistake?" Rayman asked.
"Emilio has his own rules in the market, and everyone who resists will die." The enforcer said.
However, Globox attacks by slamming his own body against the guards, Rayman spun his right hand repeatedly to realize a charged punch against the two guards, the cuphead brothers unleashes a series of energy bursts in quick succession and followed by a strongest burst (Forward Smash Attack from Mii Gunner), the enforcer tried to attack but Globox extended his tongue again before eating the guard and spitting him to the water, then two regular guards ran away in fear.
"That was easy." Mugman said but the people were staring weirdly at them.
"What's happening?" Globox asked.
"We should get out of here." Rayman said.
Then they moved out from the place but at the same time they found Ezio and the others.
"This is something I don't see every day." Ezio said seeing the group of four newcomers.
"Well, we saw those guards destroying more stands and we decided to stop them but they attacked us and after beating them the people were staring at us weirdly." Mugman explained.
"People can be confused sometimes." Ezio said.
"Can you tell us your names?" Shippo asked.
After the introductions, Ezio explained the current situation.
"So, we must go inside the Palazzo della Seta to get an audience with Emilio." Cuphead said.
"Yes or the guards will keep destroying stands and putting people out of work." Dastan added.
"Okay, here we go." Rayman said.
They went towards the Palazzo della Seta.
"How best to get inside? I'll scale the wall and… oh that's not good. I'll never make that jump. We need to find another way." Ezio said.
The same group of thieves the group saw earlier lured away the guards at the entrance. Then a female thief attempted to climb the palazzo and they saw her using the climb leap move to clear the gap. But suddenly she was soon shot in the leg by an arrow and fell (luckily the arrow didn't go through her leg like in the game, it only caused a cut and her leg began to bleed), she tried to get away but she ran into Ezio.
"I need your help!" The female thief begged.
"Hey, I remember you." Ezio said recognizing the thief.
"We need to go!" The female thief said.
"You never did apologize for knocking me over." Ezio said.
"Now!" The female thief exclaimed.
"Va bene, (Okay,) where to?" Ezio asked.
"The water." The female thief answered.
"That doesn't exactly narrow it down…" Ezio said.
Then the female thief took running while the others were following her, but the guards were appearing and the group managed to beat them and kept running until the female thief couldn't handle the pain in her leg anymore.
"Ahh! Cristo, my leg!" The female thief before collapsing in the ground.
"Can you walk?" Ezio asked.
"What do you think?" Rosa said.
"I never did catch your name." Ezio said.
"Rosa." Rosa answered.
"Onorato, (Honored to meet you,) Rosa. I'm Ezio." Ezio said.
"I know." Rosa said.
"What do you mean "I know"?" Ezio asked.
"Non ora. (Not now.) Now is not the time for small talk." Rosa insisted.
Since the last try didn't work they don't have options, but retreat while Rosa feels exhausted due the loss of blood, then Ezio was carrying Rosa in his arms and later they meet a male thief.
"Ugo!" Rosa called him.
"What is this?" The thief called Ugo asked.
"Rosa's been wounded!" Kagome answered.
"Pass her here. We'll go the rest of the way in the boat." Ugo said.
"Careful." Ezio said before handing Rosa over to Ugo.
Suddenly they noticed more archer guards shooting arrows.
"Go! We'll deal with the guards!" Inuyasha said.
Then Ugo row the boat while Inuyasha uses Windscar, Kagome shoot arrows, Renamon uses Diamond Storm, Rika uses Firaga and combining with Sailor Mars using Fire Mars Ignite, Ezio tosses knives, Rayman launches his fists, Aoyama uses his Navel Laser and the cuphead brothers shoot blue energy shots to defeat the archer guards until both thieves arrived safe in the Gilda dei Ladri di Venezia.
"I need to see Antonio…" Rosa says weakly.
"Porco demonio! (Goddammit!)" Ugo cursed under his breath and tried to lift Rosa out of the gondola, but it caused her pain.
"Be careful! Let me do it! Go and find Antonio!" Ezio said.
"Oh, cristo, Ugo! Do what he says!" Rosa exclaimed.
"Qua l'ultimo arrivato da gli ordini! (I can't believe I'm taking orders from this guy!)" Ugo exclaimed in disbelief before going to find Antonio as Ezio carried Rosa who was getting tired at the thieves guild.
"We need help!" Dastan said.
"Where's Antonio?! Make yourselves useful! Clear a space for her!" Ugo asked as the thieves dropped the things out of the table. "Put her down, there."
Ezio puts Rosa on the table.
"Where are we?" Rosa asked barely waking up.
"Home. They've sent for help." Ezio answered.
"Thank you..." Rosa said.
Then a black haired man wearing brown clothes called Antonio arrived at the place.
"Rosa! What happened?" Antonio asked in concern.
"One of the archers of Venezia wounded Rosa with an arrow." Li replied.
"Let me handle this." Rika said before casting Curaga. "Heal!"
"Impressive!" Antonio said amazed.
"How can you do that?" Ezio asked.
"It's a long story." Rika answered.
After the relaxing healing, a group of thieves took Rosa inside.
"Thank you. Rosa is most dear to me. If I had lost her..." Antonio said in thanks.
"I've always had a soft spot for women in distress." Ezio said.
"So I've heard. Don't look so surprised. We know all about you, Ser Ezio. Your work in Firenze and the rest of Tuscany. Good work too, if a little unrefined." Antonio said.
"Then you know why I'm in Venezia?" Ezio asked.
"I can guess. When you have a minute, come see me in my office. There's something we should discuss." Antonio said.
They were outside thinking about the situation.
"I'm trying to wonder why those thieves tried to enter the palace?" Meilin asked.
"They tried to make a distraction for the guards, but the other trouble to enter are the archers." Ezio said.
"It's true, even if Rosa was lucky the arrow didn't go through her leg." Sailor Mars said.
"We should speak with Antonio, maybe he has a plan to enter inside the palace." Rayman said.
"And also we'll free Venezia from Emilio's tyranny." Siegfried said.
Later they entered inside the building in Antonio's office.
"Avanti (Come in). Prego (Welcome)." Antonio said before asking. "Can I offer you something? Biscotti? Un caffè (A coffee)?"
"What's caffè (coffee)?" Ezio asked with curiosity.
"An interesting concoction, brought to me by a Turk merchant. Here, have a taste." Antonio said before offering coffee for Ezio.
Then he took a small sip.
"A little bitter if you ask me. It just seems lacking somehow… I don't know." Ezio said before asking. "Have you considered adding sugar, maybe? Or latte? (milk)?"
"I suppose it is something of an acquired taste." Antonio said before changing the subject. "Enough about that. Now where were we? Our failure at the palazzo cost us dearly. It will take time to recover. No doubt Emilio will use this pause to strengthen his defenses and continue his oppression of the district. You may not share our motive, but I know you share our goal."
"Why not gather your forces and try again?" Mugman asked.
"To act in haste would only bring more losses. No. We must resupply and draw new plans." Antonio answered.
"I can ill afford to sit around and wait." Ezio said.
"We also want to help." Kagome said.
"We witnessed guards destroying a market stand and also arrested a merchant by disrupting commerce." Rika added.
"I appreciate your intentions." Antonio said before asking. "Can you tell your names?"
After the introductions.
"Molto bene (Very well), work with us instead. Already my men begin to mend today's wounds. Seek them out; they'll put you to work. The sooner you aid them, the sooner we can strike." Antonio explained.
"Molto bene, Messere. (Very well, sir). I accept." Ezio said.
"So, what's the plan?" Shippo asked.
"Many of my own men were captured while Emilio has turned some of them against me." Antonio explained.
"Bribery and blackmail, is it?" Ezio asked.
"Yes, and we cannot strike until the traitors are dealt with. They're still somewhere in this district; keeping tabs on us and reporting back to Emilio." Antonio said.
"What about the archers?" Uraraka asked.
"We can steal the armor used by Emilio's guards and later will replace the guards and archers around the Palazzo della Seta." Antonio explained.
"But how will I jump higher while climbing a wall?" Ezio asked.
"Rosa will teach you." Antonio answered before explaining the plan. "It's decided. Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Siegfried, Sailor Mars and Uraraka, you six will deal with the guards and archers around the Palazzo della Seta and will rob the armors. Prince Dastan, Cuphead, Mugman, Rayman, Globox and Ezio, you six will deal with the traitors. Rika, Renamon, Li, Meilin, Aoyama and Link, you six will release the captive thieves."
They nodded in agreement with the plan. Meanwhile in the Palazzo della Seta, an old man wearing dark green noble clothes called Emilio Barbarigo was still watching outside.
"It seems that the assassin has arrived here and now he has brought more allies." Emilio said.
Suddenly a dark corridor appeared Stromboli with his Shuppet and Razorbeard.
"Who are you three!? Why are you invading my palazzo!?" Emilio demanded.
"Scuse for invading your palazzo, messer." Stromboli said.
"We were sent here to get rid of that assassin and his allies." Razorbeard said.
"So, you two know who those figli (children) are?" Emilio asked.
"Sì. Those figli (children) are the enemy." Stromboli replied.
"What do you suggest I do?" Emilio asked.
"Let's join forces to get rid of our enemies." Razorbeard answered.
Then Emilio agreed to join forces with the Brotherhood of Evil. Back with the team members, Ezio learned the Climb Leap technique that Rosa had done before and used it to climb the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, also he found codex pages to give them at Leonardo and later a Hidden Gun was added in Ezio's Hidden Blade and later he bought a Milanese Sword, a Metal Cestus, a Butcher Knife and a crossbow too and he, Prince Dastan, Cuphead, Mugman, Rayman and Globox went to get rid of the traitor thieves, the traitors were identified thanks to Ezio's Eagle Vision. Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Siegfried, Sailor Mars and Uraraka went to steal the armors. And finally, Rika, Renamon, Li, Meilin, Aoyama and Link went to release the captive thieves and the group returned back to the thieves guild where Antonio, Ugo and Rosa were present.
"Please, enter!" Ugo said.
"Your good work has restored us to our former strength. We are ready to strike." Antonio said.
"Just tell me what needs to be done, and I'll see that it is." Ezio said.
"You'll approach from above, under the cover of night. Emilio has posted archers around the Palazzo." Antonio explained before instructing. "Kill them, but do so quietly. As they fall, my men shall replace them."
"What about the guards?" Renamon asked.
"When you've finished with the archers, we'll regroup in front of this building here, and discuss next steps." Antonio answered.
"Nessun problema (Not a problem). I'll take care of the archers and return to you." Ezio said.
"Then it's settled. In bocca al lupo (good luck)." Antonio said.
Then they went towards the Palazzo della Seta and watched the archers watching the palace.
"Watch this." Ezio said before pointing the Hidden Blade towards the archer and he shoots a bullet which dispatched him.
"How did you do that?" Sailor Mars asked.
"Leonardo improved the Hidden Blade after reading a codex page." Ezio explained.
After getting rid of the archers, they met with Antonio, Ugo and Rosa on the rooftops.
"Hurry!" Ugo said as the thieves were moving the corpses of the guards.
"Well done. Everything is going according to plan. As we speak, my men are replacing the archers you removed. The way to the Palazzo is clear now." Antonio said.
"But not the building itself. Emilio's guards still patrol its border." Ezio said.
"Use my men. They can distract the guards; save you from having to fight." Ugo said.
"And when it comes time to storm the place, remember what I've taught you." Rosa said.
"Sii cauto (Take care). We await word of your success." Antonio said.
Then they went to the palazzo where Ezio used Antonio's thieves to lure away the guards, and then he, Renamon, Rika (Flow-Motion technique), Inuyasha (Kagome, Shippo, Li and Meilin in Inuyasha's back), prince Dastan, Rayman, Uraraka (using Zero Gravity quirk in herself), Aoyama (propelling himself with the Navel Laser), climbed the walls of the Palazzo while the others were fighting against the other guards, mainly the brutes. And from the rooftop, they overheard a conversation from within.
Inside the palazzo, the villains were speaking with white-haired and bearded old man wearing blue noble clothes.
"Piacere di conoscerti Carlo Grimaldi." Stromboli said meeting the old man called Carlo Grimaldi.
"I see you got new troops." Carlo said to Emilio. "But your little house of cards is crumbling."
"A minor setback. It will be dealt with. This povero scemo (poor fool) Antonio and his thieves..." Emilio said.
"Never mind them! It's the Assassin and those figli (children) you should be worried about!" Carlo said.
"Yes, I noticed them. They won't be a problem." Emilio said.
"How could you be so ignorant!?" Carlo exclaimed in disbelief.
"I've been busy! Someone had to provide weapons to our brothers in Firenze!" Emilio said.
The group kept watching them.
"Who are those two?" Ezio asked referring to Razorbeard and Stromboli.
"It's Razorbeard, I thought he wouldn't survive after I defeated him." Rayman said.
"One of our friends told us that he is Stromboli, a puppeteer master obsessed with getting a lot of money." Rika explained.
"Look!" Uraraka said pointing at three guards close to a gondola.
"I think Emilio is getting ready to depart." Aoyama said.
"Let's go after him!" Ezio said.
Then they went towards Emilio surrounding him along with Stromboli, Shuppet, Razorbeard and Carlo Grimaldi.
"You won't go anywhere, Emilio!" Dastan said.
"Guardia! Guardia!" Emilio said calling the guards inside the palazzo.
"I finally meet you, miserabile assassino...!" Stromboli said with venom in his words.
"So, you're working with Emilio Barbarigo, burattinaio profittatore." Ezio said facing Stromboli with his Shuppet.
"Long time no see, Rayman." Razorbeard said.
"Why did you join with Bowser?" Rayman asked.
"To be able to take revenge on you." Razorbeard answered.
Dastan pointed his dagger at Emilio.
"Your days of tyranny in Venezia are over, Emilio!" Dastan said.
"It's not tyranny, all I want is to maintain unity in the market district, eliminate competition and pay the guards so I don't pay taxes." Emilio explained before saying. "And none of you will interfere with my plans, just like Giovanni Auditore did."
"You are not worth mentioning my father's name, not after what Rodrigo Borgia did to him." Ezio said strictly.
"We'll see about that." Razorbeard said before summoning robot pirates and Heartless like Defenders and Armored Knights.
"We'll handle the enemies, you must hunt Emilio!" Dastan said and Ezio nodded.
Rika realized Thunder Raid to zap Shuppet and Renamon followed by sending a flying kick, Li slashed the guards with his sword, Meilin managed to beat the other guards with kung fu moves, Uraraka launched the enemies with Zero Gravity, Aoyama shoots lasers from his device, Kagome shoots arrows at the archers, Inuyasha attacks by swinging his sword, Rayman double punched Razorbeard before kicking him, Dastan was slashing the enemies with his dagger, Emilio tried to run away but Ezio shoots his Hidden Cannon which injured Emilio Barbarigo, then Ezio speaks with the conspirator before passing away.
"Do not be afraid." Ezio said.
"I feel no fear, assassin. Only regret. I sought unity. Stability. Order." Emilio said.
"As too great a cost." Ezio said.
"Progress demands sacrifice." Emilio said his last words.
"Non trovo alcuna gioia in questo, ma non c'è altro modo. Requiescat in Pace." Ezio said and Emilio closed his eyes.
Some guards were angered after seeing the death of Emilio Barbarigo as others ran away cowardly and also released Venice from Emilio's tyranny, the enraged guards tried to attack but they were dispatched by arrows and one arrow landing close of Ezio's foot while Stromboli and Razorbeard were watching the thieves disguised as guards.
"It's all over! You lost!" Inuyasha said.
"You haven't seen the last of me, Rayman!" Razorbeard said.
"You were lucky this time!" Stromboli growled as his Shuppet blew a raspberry with his tongue.
Then both villains disappeared in the dark corridor.
"Sorry! We couldn't resist." Rosa said before dropping down to where the group was. "Come! Let's open the gate for Antonio."
Then they opened the doors of the Palazzo, the group and Antonio walked inside.
"Seta is fallen and Emilio is no more! All thanks to you all!" Antonio said before turning to his thieves. "Go! Tear down Emilio's banners! Return what he has stolen from the people."
Antonio addressed Ezio and the group once more.
"Tell me. How can I repay you for your service?" Antonio asked.
"Money's always nice." Ezio said.
"Maybe I would need a bigger quiver to carry more arrows." Kagome said.
"Easy enough." Antonio said.
Antonio beckoned two thieves, one handed Ezio a bag of 5,000 florins and another handed a quiver with a capacity of 100 arrows, then Rika's Keyblade glowed and realized the procedure to unlock the keyhole.
"What was that?" Ugo asked.
"It's time to depart." Rika answered.
"Also, we'll need cooperation from Ezio and the other newcomers." Sailor Mars said referring to the new faces.
"My cooperation for what?" Ezio asked and then they explained the situation. "I see the Spaniard is not the only one preparing his own army, but I'll join your team."
"I wish you all good luck." Antonio said.
Then Ezio and the other newcomers joined the team.
