101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #1 - Azazel's Temple, Central Arabia
'Trial By Fire'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie
"My first day as a member of the Tekken Force... it was hot, it was sandy, chaotic. Nothing at all like our training simulations back in Japan. Of course, that's pretty much the way it was for all of us, wasn't it? All the drills and all those years of training, it does not prepare you for all the screaming, all the blood, does it? Frankly, I am still amazed we made it through the first hour, nevermind the first day..."
Trial By Fire: The very first deployment of 101st Special Forces Detachment of the Tekken Force happened at the waning hours of the First Global War between the Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation. Under personal tutelage of Nina Williams and trained to be the best of the best, the SF Detachment faced its first real combat deployment in Central Arabia, where they had to clear a way for Jin Kazama towards Azazel's Temple. Encroached by G-Corporation sniper nests and Devil Gene monsters that tore anything that stood in their way asunder, the 101st SF Detachment did their best to complete their objectives. And so they did, even if they suffered heavy losses at the end of the day. When the battle was finished and Lars Alexandersson was left going free, the 101st SF Detachment was left under direct command of Jin Kazama's second in command. Though it was left unofficial, as Nina Williams had plans on her own...
"Incredibly, the 101st survived the crucible of the Azazel's temple. Emerging battle-hardened and ready for whatever the war would throw at us."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #2 - Tehran, Iran
'Amongst the Ruins'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"In the waning months of the First Global War between Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation, the 101st faced missions critical to the agenda of lady Nina Williams. When we arrived at the bombed out ruins of Tehran, our field commander believed we had been sent to take out a nuclear reactor belonging to G-Corporation. What colonel Shaheen didn't know however was that our unit of the 101st was really after an experimental fusion reactor that Williams wanted for her ion cannon prototype. Keeping Shaheen in the dark wasn't easy; the officers loyal to Jin Kazama had become increasingly wary of Williams's doings, and Shaheen was on the lookout for the slightest hint of treachery. Just like the rest of them though, he never caught a whiff of what was really going on, until it was far too late."
Amongst the Ruins: With income and trade coming from both Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation, Iran turned into a regional major power in the Middle East. Coquetting with experimental technology such as Fusion Reactors, Space Weapons and drones, Iran suddenly became a point of interest for two rivalring corporations. When the First Global War between the corporations began, the Middle East and Iran, namely quickly became a conflict zone of interest, and Tehran was bombed out to oblivion. It was a near miracle that nuclear reactors and experimental labs located within the city were barely scratched by the nightmarish strategic bombardment from both Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation. When the 101st SF Detachment arrived to deactivate G-Corporation's nuclear reactor in the city, they were led by colonel Shaheen. Unfortunately, as soon as the 101st was rotated out of Tehran after their mission was complete, further whereabouts of the skilled Tekken Force commander remained unknown.
"The success of the mission in Tehran was something of a revelation for the men of the 101st. Suddenly, we realized that our commanders could be fooled. And if they could be fooled, they could be killed."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #3 - Wake Island
'A Blockade Runner'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"As the First Global War progressed, more and more ground-based detachments found themselves pressed into naval and air combat, including the fighting forces of the 101st. For months, every hour of our downtime was spent in the simulator, preparing for the time we would face our enemies from the cockpit of an F-25. Finally the day came to earn our wings. After Heihachi Mishima's death, G-Corporation had staged a daring blockade run on our naval base at Wake Island, with their blockade run being escorted from their course of Yokohama by a fleet of Chinese ships. With only a few veteran pilots on Wake Island, many of the 101st were pressed into service to drive off the G-Corporation mercenaries, and buy time for our evacuation shuttles to get out of Wake Island. We did not have resources nor manpower to fight off the G-Corporation and Chinese team-up. so we had to work with what we had at our disposal and get everyone out of the Island if we wanted to live and fight another day."
A Blockade Runner: Though the alliance between G-Corporation and People's Republic of China was chaotic and short-lived, it managed to deliver a finishing blow to the main forces of the Mishima Zaibatsu Remnant and splinter the warlords rising from the ashes ever further. The only notable operation of this cooperative alliance was a strike at the Mishima Zaibatsu outpost on Wake Island, where 101st SF Detachment was located at the time of Heihachi Mishima's death and Nina Williams's 'disappearance' from Mishima Zaibatsu. Though the main remnant of the Tekken Force suffered heavy losses and the base was lost in the end, most of the equipment and manpower was successfully withdrawn from Wake Island as a daring assault of 101st upon the Chinese ships managed to break an opening for the retreating forces. After this, the 101st was 'officially' on their own in a warlord war between the scraps of Mishima Zaibatsu and independent Tekken Force legions spread all across the Pacific Rim.
"After disabling the final capital ship in the Chinese fleet, General Gordo took advantage of the opportunity we'd created and got the rest of the gunships off Wake Island towards Tokyo. Took all the credit, too."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #4 - Southern Indochina
'Hell of the Jungle'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"It's been said that the 101st got the best of the war time. That was only partly true, as we also got the worst. When the warlords began chipping away from Mishima Zaibatsu, one of the hot-headed ones settled in southern Indochina and took a whole Tekken Force legion with him. Settling down in Singapore, they dug their metal heels into the muck of that jungle hellhole and dared Williams and us to come in after them. So we did, only to be met with month after month of flesh-eating diseases, shrieking nocturnal predators, well-hidden tunnels, camouflaged sniper positions and other sights that haunt me to this day. Cut off and for all we knew were abandoned by our superiors due to the fracturing and with everyone concerned about their bank accounts, our only hope was Josie Rizal, our field commander. Without her iron will, none of us would have come out of that mess with our sanity, or our lives."
Hell of the Jungle: With the fragmentation of what was left of Mishima Zaibatsu into a civil war between power-hungry warlords and independent Tekken Force legions that offered their services to the highest bidder, 101st SF Detachment found itself fighting on their own. There were rumors that Nina Williams had a personal leash on 101st, but those rumors were never proven true. In months following the final dissolution of Mishima Zaibatsu, 101st fought for themselves, trying to rally as much support as possible to survive in a new hellhole that was called the Pacific Rim. With no one to lead them (officially), their first target was Lieutenant-General Kagewara, a warlord who bribed a whole Tekken Force legion to come with him to his foothold in Singapore. With no one left to support them or give them shelter, the 101st decided to take him out and set up their own stronghold in Kagewara's holdings. The battle took place in Southern Indochina and the Kingdom of Siam, stretching the battle from several days to several months with 101st stretched to its absolute maximum. Heavy losses and huge attrition caused problems on the both sides as for some reason, G-Corporation decided to claim Singapore as well, though their assaults failed due to well-layered defense of the city. A defense 101st had no problem breaking through as soon as the 'reinforcements' had arrived in the form of unexpected air support with supply drops and mechanized support. With the fall of Singapore and death of warlord Kagewara by hands of the 101st, the detachment was soon moved back to Tokyo as a grave danger was encircling the once shining capital city of the land of the Rising Sun.
"When the 101st was finally rotated out of Malaysia, Josie made a point of seeing us off personally, calling us the bravest soldiers she had ever seen. It's a good thing we were wearing helmets, because none of us could bear to look her in the eye."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #5 - Yokohama
'The First Corridor'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"When the G-Corporation launched the massive assault upon Tokyo, it caught the Zaibatsu flat footed. In response, Williams sent a detachment of the 101st to stop the bleeding until reinforcements could arrive. We all knew it was a textbook suicide mission and still, we went in. As we fought our way to break the G-Corporation's encirclement at Yokohama, most of us believed that the only way we'd be getting off this fight was in a body bag."
The First Corridor: At this time, Nina Williams was slowly coming back to take over a garrison of the Tekken Force settled in Tokyo, even though it was a risk that was soon proven to be way deadlier as she imagined. After a heated-up battle and defeating Eddy Gordo, Nina took control over the Zaibatsu holdings in Tokyo and as soon as the news spread, G-Corporation launched a massive offensive upon the Japanese capital with a clear goal - erase every mention and holding of Mishima Zaibatsu in the city and, with Kazuya's blessing, level the city to the ground and burn everything to fiery ash. Being encircled and with no way to escape without leaving everything behind, Nina called in the 101st Special Forces Detachment to break the encirclement with support from Tekken Force's naval force that was loyal to her. Though the loyalist forces were outnumbered and outgunned, the 101st decided to strike through a port in Yokohama as there was the weakest point in the lines. Even though it was a suicide mission even with naval support, the Detachment broke through the enemy lines with brutal approach, strike team tactics and heavy air support offered by the Iron Fist, a Zaibatsu aircraft carrier seized by 101st before the whole warlord wars began. While it was a major success to break through the Tokyo encirclement, the real battle was lying ahead.
"As the 101st finally broke through the blockade around Tokyo and created a corridor for our forces to retreat through, I took a long look back at the battle that continued to rage over at the sea, and wondered why so many had to die for a bunch of damn corporate heads. Then I followed my orders, and turned towards the burning city we had to save..."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #6 - Tokyo Outskirts
'A Line in the Burning Hell'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"When we arrived in Tokyo, things were just as bad as we'd feared. G-Corporation launched a scorched earth operation to annihilate all traces of Mishima Zaibatsu and had us outgunned, outmaneuvered, and outmanned by a five-to-one margin. It was a massacre, but what none of us had counted on was the Imperial Guard. We'd all heard the stories and legends, of course, but we'd never fought next to them, never seen them wield a katana like a Samurai and cut down a fireteam of G-Corporation mercenaries like a hot knife through butter. They were magnificent. Even so it was still a suicide mission, at least it was until Nina Williams arrived with reinforcements and the naval support to pick us up. Then it became a battle; a winnable battle."
A Line in the Burning Hell: 101st Detachment broke through the blockade around Tokyo and opened the corridor between Yokohama and the capital city. However, they were not expecting all the military power of G-Corporation descending upon Tokyo. Along with the Tekken Force garrison inside the city, the Imperial Guard and reinforcements brought in through the corridor to secure a defensive line, the 101st with defenders were outgunned and outmanned by a four-to-one margin. However, they weren't without hopes as naval and air support from the Tekken Force navy and air force did not dissipate and though all detachments in the city suffered heavy losses, they managed to hold the line long enough for the civilians to evacuate, alongside the Japanese Royal Family and many wealthy corporate leaders, from the burning city. The 101st Detachment watched as the Mishima Tower, a signal of strength of Mishima Zaibatsu and the Mishima family, laid down into ruin by artillery fire and naval bombardment. Rumors had it Nina Williams ordered the old tower to be destroyed so the new one could be constructed in Kyoto, a relatively safe city deep inside the Zaibatsu territory, but those rumors were never proven true...
With the timely arrival of Nina Williams and her elite guard, the 101st were able to hold the line against the G-Corporation in Tokyo and help evacuate the civilians with the Imperial Royal Family. We left as heroes. Years later, we'd return as conquerors."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #7 - Iwo Jima
'Hunting Down the Remnants'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"In our bones, we knew the First War was almost over. The world had held its breath, waiting to see which side would make the final daring move. As fortune would have it, the Zaibatsu moved first. After the Intelligence reported that the final rebel warlords gathered and hid in an underground bunker network on Iwo Jima, Nina Williams gathered an army large enough to wage a minor war for a year. When the orders reached the 101st, our morale soared. For better or worse, this would be the beginning of the end."
Hunting Down the Remnants: With the new headquarters being built in Kyoto and G-Corporation being focused on the Resistance in the northern highlands, Nina Williams could focus on finishing what should have been done in the first place, but constant interruptions made it nearly impossible - rounding up the remaining warlords that were roaming free around the Pacific and were a threat to her rule. With a spy planted within warlord ranks and a deserter caught trying to get away from the frontline, Nina and her lieutenants learned that the rest of the warlords has entrenched themselves on Iwo Jima, hiding in a system of fortified underground bunkers and sentry posts. It would be a suicide to send a whole legion to its death to fight on Iwo Jima, so she came up with a different strategy - strategic bombardment took care of vast forests covering the bunkers and 101st, alongside the elite troops of the Tekken Force and naval and air support offered by the navy, had the honors of breaking through the warlord lines and bring the cowering, power-hungry generals and corporate leaders back to Kyoto. The assault was blitz, daring and quick and still it had one complication that forced Nina Williams to come in forth - the warlords have reactivated an old version of GUN JACK and repaired it alongside adding it with new weapons and gadgets. While Nina fought for her life with the robot, the 101st rounded up the warlords and brought them to a gunship that took them all to Kyoto. What would follow is too dark to stare at...
"With the last warlords rounded up and held in Kyoto after Williams' daring assault on Iwo Jima, a Zaibatsu Flag stood proudly on the victory hill on the island. Under normal circumstances, it would have been a time for celebration and rest. But our next orders put pain to those thoughts."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #8 - Kyoto
'Knightfall'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"What I remember about the rebirth of Mishima Zaibatsu is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the First Global War, the 101st Detachment was discreetly transferred to our new foothold in Kyoto. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private, traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Kyoto, not when Order 667 came down, and not when we marched into the ancient temple overseeing Kyoto. Not a word."
Order 667 'Knightfall': Following her success with rounding up the Warlords to Kyoto on their very last meeting, Nina Williams issued an infamous order to eradicate last vestiges of opposition within Mishima Zaibatsu and the Tekken Force. What followed was a bloodshed, a massacre. Tekken Force units loyal to Williams began slaughtering military commanders and corporate leaders that did not agree and did not support her plans of revitalization of the Zaibatsu. Though the massacre in Kyoto was the most prominent one as what was left of rebellious warlords entrenched in an old temple above Kyoto in the highlands, the other massacres in their own ranks went almost unnoticed. The 101st Detachment received the honor of leading the order's execution in Kyoto, while Nina Williams was dealing with the Warlords in a secluded place. A place which soon became their grave, as Nina gassed them all upon conclusion they weren't going to unite under her or anyone's but their own banner with a deadly toxin gas. As for the massacre in Kyoto, 101st routed the 'disloyal' forces into the countryside towering above Kyoto. In a matter of hours, the temple was under Mishima Zaibatsu's flag and any sign of traitorous forces eradicated, either by bullet or katana sword...
"With the fall of Kyoto and the elimination of the traitorous warlords, Williams's rise to power was complete. In recognition of our service and loyalty to her, the 101st was placed under her direct command and was rebranded as her Elite Guard. Armed with deadly new weapons, blazing new ships, and shiny new armor, our presence let the world know that the days of the old Mishima Zaibatsu were well and truly over. With the G-Corporation being distracted with the United Nations, we were able to progress without any major resistance. We were establishing a new era, an era of order and peace."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #9 - Dublin, Ireland
'Zaibatsu Diplomacy'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"During the rise of the Mishima Zaibatsu from the ashes, Williams's home country of Ireland rapidly established itself as a major irritant. After a number of Irish ambassadors were sent home in various states of dismemberment, the newly elected Irish Prime Minister broke off diplomatic ties, and began exploring military options with aligning towards G-Corporation and the Resistance included in it. Clearly it was time for a regime change, a change that would be affected by the 101st, now under the direct command of Nina Williams. Our orders were simple: to infiltrate the capital city of Dublin, secure the parliament and take out their leader, sending a clear signal to other potential troublemakers in the Empire."
Zaibatsu Diplomacy: Following the snap elections in Ireland, Mishima Zaibatsu's interest in a small island country rapidly increased as the prime minister cut off all ties to the Zaibatsu and G-Corporation. With most of its shares and stocks in Ireland locked by the government, the Zaibatsu sent in its elite 101st Special Forces detachment to 'destabilize' the Irish government and the whole country. In the end, G-Corporation tried the same, but its strike force was eliminated as soon as the 101st SF Detachment took control of the Irish parliament and executed the Irish prime minister.
"With the Prime Minister eliminated, Ireland quickly fell in line. It was the first time the 101st was called upon to "adjust" a country's government, but it wouldn't be the last. Within months, the 101st gained a well-deserved reputation as 'The Iron Fist of Mishima Zaibatsu'."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #10 - South African Coast
'Preventative Measures'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"Although the warlord wars were over, some people never seemed to get the message. The worst case of denial was John Macmillan, a Separatist warlord who'd somehow escaped Lady Williams's efforts to wipe out the traitorous remnant warlords. Nina Williams tracked him to war-torn South Africa, and brought us in to finish the job. It seemed like a simple enough mission, but when we saw the fleet of mercenary ships, guarding the country's coastline, we suddenly realized that Macmillan's denial mechanisms were a little more dangerous than we'd imagined."
Preventative Measures: With several world governments were brought in line with the Zaibatsu, internal cracks began to surface to show the stability problems of Nina Williams's new empire. Rebellions within unloyal units, several warlords emerging again to cause distress among the Tekken Force ranks and foreign influence furthering the damage. To damage control this mess, Williams deployed the 101st Special Forces Detachment to deal with these cracks. After adjusting more governments to fit with Zaibatsu's iron-fisted rule, their hunt for warlords began anew. While other warlords did not manage to muster enough strength and support to last for long, colonel John Macmillan proven himself to be a much more dangerous foe. Not only did he manage to find an old, hidden Mishima Zaibatsu military factory in Cape Town, he also received help from UN in form of a 'peace-keeping' fleet that arrived just in time to fight off the Zaibatsu's Second Fleet in a close-quarters naval and air combat over control of the South African straits. Though the rebels and UN gave it their all, it was not enough to beat Mishima Zaibatsu's technological superiority and elite training. 101st Detachment not only managed to break through the UN fleet, they also managed to snatch an experimental stealth fighter from aboard the aircraft carrier and bring it back safely to the Zaibatsu fleet. But the real battle was about to begin...
"The slight whiff of nostalgia the 101st had enjoyed fighting the rebel fleet over the South African straits and beaches had already grown sour by the time we'd established invasion positions. Now it was time to find out what this was all about."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #11 - Cape Town, South Africa
'Mopping up the Waste'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"By the time we'd made our way to the barren deserts of South Africa, it was apparent that Macmillan had been a busy little bug. All by his lonesome, he'd found a previously hidden military factory formerly belonging to Mishima Zaibatsu, fired it up and cranked out his own private army of Alisa-model Androids. Needless to say, this got the men of the 101st...a little hot under the helmet, and not just because of all that heat and coarse, rough sand that gets everywhere. Truth be told we'd all had our fill of that damn android during the war as it was crossing our plans all the time, and we couldn't stomach the thought of going through another one meet-up with it. So we blew them up. Blew up the androids, blew up the factory, damn near blew up the whole city."
Mopping up the Waste: By the time Tekken Force's 101st SF Detachment landed near Cape Town to take out the hidden military factory, Macmillan had his hands full to prepare a proper welcome party. A legion of trained Tekken Force deserters hailing from UN and the Resistance, a fresh unit of Alisa androids under his command and rumors were he was working on a new model of JACK robots he planned to sell to the highest bidder. It was a bit of a personal bid for Nina Williams as well, as she did not intend to let her enemies get the upper hand over her as well that she personally knew Macmillan. They served together during Jin Kazama's short-lived rule over Mishima Zaibatsu and she could trust him with anything. That he dared to betray her and leave everything behind for the spineless UN and the Resistance left a mark on the Iron Lady of the Mishima Zaibatsu. A mark that had to be eradicated, lest it would erode into something worse. And so, it was. The operation in Cape Town soon enough turned into a scorched earth mission. Few people believed Williams was capable of doing what G-Corporation did to Tokyo several years back. However, everyone in the Tekken Force that was loyal to her knew the consequences of betrayal and went with it. Alisa androids were torn apart, rebels were brought up from their bunkers and shot, and Macmillan was left dying in the fiery ruin of the factory. His remnants were soon enough extracted by the 101st before they were rotated out of South Africa...
"The destruction of the military factory and death of John Macmillan put an end to any thoughts of a second Tekken Force rebellion. For the first time in years, the men of the 101st could relax, and get about the business of maintaining an empire, rather than building one."
—
101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #12 - Kagoshima, Kyushu Island
'Changing of the Guard'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"Officially, there never was a Tekken Force rebellion within our ranks. Unofficially, approximately twenty years after the Zaibatsu was formed, a special detachment of the Tekken Force special forces was dispatched to Kagoshima, with orders to eradicate a rebellious Tekken Force army that has been raised and funded to thwart our control over the western Japan. Our mission commander, an expert on how the Resistance and rebellious forces cooperated and their inner workings, was a young bounty hunter codenamed 'Hunter'."
Changing of the Guard: With John Macmillan defeated and the UN task force obliterated, it seemed as though Nina Williams and her new empire was undominable. However, there were a lot of things that prevented Nina's regime from becoming a dominant force in the Pacific. One of such forces were rebels that began cropping like wildfire all over the Zaibatsu territory. Though most of the rebellions were quickly crushed, the one army at Kagoshima dared to make a stand at Shiroyama hill with support from G-Corporation, Yggdrasil Resistance and United Nations. Under leadership of former samurai noble families, the rebel army at Kagoshima threatened the Zaibatsu position severely, as it was threatening to cut all naval and trade support in one swift stroke. Thus, 101st SF detachment, led by 'Hunter' (rumored to be a super soldier bred by Mishima Zaibatsu) and supported by many other elite forces of the Tekken Force, was sent to Shiroyama and defeat the rebel army, burn down their industry and infrastructure and retrieve their communication. It was a bloody battle and losses were heavy on both sides, however in the end it was the 101st Detachment that toppled the rebel army and eradicated the rebels and their leadership. Hunter soon left as his hunt for Lars Alexandersson only began...
"This 'Hunter' left after the battle was over. He said something about tracking down the leader of the Resistance.. After all rebel uprisings were defeated, the Iron Lady decided that an army with almost no recruitment restrictions was too susceptible to corruption. Future troopers would be required to be highly loyal to Mishima Zaibatsu and pass through a harsh training regimen to weed out the weak. Though the 101st was left initially intact, soon enough half of the detachment was released as the weak and wounded soldiers were not able to keep up with the new training and drilling regimen. We never really got used to the new guys."
—
101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #13 - The Zaibatsu Space Station, Earth Orbit
'Sabotage Action'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"Once it was finally finished, the Ion Cannon became Iron Lady's favorite toy. The command space station was also the most boring assignment in the world for a trooper. Tedious inspection drills, endless hours of guarding impregnable force field generators. Things got so bad that when the Yggdrasil Resistance mounted a daring assault to sabotage the weapon, we were almost happy to have someone shooting at us again. If only we had known what an embarrassing snipestorm we were about to wade into, we probably would have jettisoned the whole hangar block into space."
Sabotage Action: Once the construction of the Ion Cannon in Earth's orbit was complete and its command space station brought online, the 101st found itself on 'vacation' spending months guarding the space station codenamed 'Yamamoto'. Guard duty all across the station, inspection drills to make sure everything is in top shape, endless guarding of vital points... and for what, some troopers began to think. Why would the most elite unit of the Tekken Force be garrisoned in a station where no one else but the Zaibatsu has a direct communication line? That was soon brought to a test as the Resistance led by Lars Alexandersson staged an attack on the station with shuttles taken from NASA. The assault became a quick trench warfare in space, with Resistance snipers camping every corridor possible whenever they had control over any. Even though the Resistance saboteurs managed to get to the Ion Cannon control room, they weren't fast enough to destroy it as 101st Detachment managed to fight off the Resistance fighters and push them back to the hangar they landed at. Though a small portion of the fighters managed to escape in a stolen shuttle, the rest (including a veteran from Street Fighter tournament) were either captured or killed. But what was seemed a total victory by the station's commander, Nina Williams saw it in a different way as it became clear the Resistance had access to secret plans, weapons and Zaibatsu's comm channels. Time was off the essence and 101st was removed from its duty on Yamamoto to face the new threat posed by Lars and his cronies.
"After the embarrassment of the whole assault that proved to be a diversion, Lady Williams removed us from our comfortable billet, and began dragging the 101st across the world, in a dangerous hunt for the now missing secret plans and hunting down the Resistance.. Ironically, our punishment eventually proved to be our salvation. The poor souls who took our place were completely caught off guard when the Yggdrassil managed to land its most devastating blow upon us."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #14 - Alaska
'Rise of the Rebellion'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"By the time of the raid on the rebel station at Alaska, the men of the 101st were starting to get a little sick of this so-called 'Yggdrassil Rebellion'. In the past, we'd secretly enjoyed putting down a local insurrection or two. They kept the troops sharp and the Zaibatsu feared, but these Rebels were different. They were organized, they were growing, and they were everywhere. The raid on their radar station in Alaska was a perfect example of how things were starting to fall apart. We were supposed to go in, wipe out a small band of Rebels, and recover some stolen Tekken Force plans on an encrypted flash disk. Before we knew it, we were nearly overrun by Rebel forces, with the flashdisk nowhere to be found."
Rise of the Rebellion: In the coming months following the raid on Yamamoto space station orbiting Earth, Nina's determination to take down Lars and his Rebellion was starting to borderline obsession. Not only did the Rebels manage to sabotage the Ion Cannon, they also made it out with a lot of encrypted, yet still important data and vanished into thin air. The 101st was set as an example of 'failing their duty' and was put on the spearhead of Williams's efforts to wipe out the Rebellion. However, it took Nina and her espionage experts months until they found a lead - one of the Rebels left a communication channel open and led the Tekken Force to their radar station built and operated in Alaska, on territory of the former USA before its ultimate collapse into civil unrest and war. Little did Nina know (and failed to check on with her advisors) that this was a trap set for the 101st and the troopers ran right into it. Yet what the Rebels did not expect was the fierce fight the elite detachment was about to give them. And not only did the 101st manage to withdraw from the station back to Mishima Zaibatsu, they also recovered parts of the stolen data and tracked it to a cruise ship belonging to Lili de Rochefort. Stakes just went higher...
"Even though the Alaska raid was only a partial success, we finally had a lead on the whereabouts of the stolen intel and plans, which suited the 101st just fine."
—
101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #15 - Gibraltar
'Recovering the Plans'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"With the information gathered in Alaska, the Iron Lady concluded that the portion of stolen plans had been given to 'princess' Lili de Rochefort. We weren't surprised. For all her talk of being a peaceful Monaco royalty, the Rochefort family had been thumbing its nose at the Mishima Zaibatsu for years. After a brief and pointless battle, we boarded her cruise ship, the Peal of Monaco, near Gibraltar, began looking for the plans, and waited for Lady Williams's arrival."
Recovering the Plans: After the partial success of the raid on the Yggdrassil Rebellion's station on Alaska, Nina had several leads to follow but the one raised to be the most clear one to her sight - that under the cover of cruising the Mediterranean Sea, Lili de Rochefort was selling supplies and various intel to the Rebellion stolen from either Mishima Zaibatsu or what was left of G-Corporation. Nina Williams concluded that this cannot be tolerated ever further and ordered the 101st to take station at Gibraltar and attack the 'Pearl of Monaco', Lili's cruise ship, with heavy naval and air support and take it over. Take everyone who resisted as prisoners and capture Lili de Rochefort 'alive'. While the boarding of the ship went smoothly, capturing of Lili was not as she offered fierce resistance. It took the 101st several men, Nina Williams's personal involvement in defeating Lili de Rochefort and new Tesla stun guns to pacify the princess and take her and her men hostage. After the deed was done, Pearl of Monaco was sunk by a torpedo to show that no one who cooperated with the Yggdrassil Rebellion shall escape the retribution forever. This had proven to be a mistake, however as Rebellion's next target dealt a crippling blow to Nina's empire and its backbone...
"After the Iron Lady took custody of 'princess' Rochefort, we all figured it was just a matter of time before she coughed up the plans. Many of us had been unwilling witnesses to Williams's powers of persuasion in the past. The thought of a pampered little princess resisting her terrible will was inconceivable."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #16 - Sea of Japan
'The Iron Fist Strikes Back'
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"When the Aircraft Carrier Iron Fist was destroyed, about half of the 101st Detachment was still in the hangar and on the deck getting to their ships. Of those who made it out, another third were caught in the explosion. I'd fought with some of those men for over a decade and I knew the crew of the carrier myself - technicians, pilots, deck officers. All dead because of the traitorous move from the Rebellion. Afterwards, those of us that survived hooked up with a nearby Fourth fleet making a retaliatory strike on the Rebels' base on Hokkaido. It wasn't the best thought out plan, but we were cut off from our leaders, tired, and operating on instinct. If not for our training, we probably would've never gotten past their coastal defenses."
The Iron Fist Strikes Back: The mortal strike was delivered by the Yggdrasil Rebellion several weeks later following capture of Lili de Rochefort and the destruction of her cruise ship. The Rebels not only did they manage to break Rochefort out of the captivity, but also managed to deliver a striking blow to the Zaibatsu's naval supremacy by blowing Nina Williams's aircraft carrier Iron Fist and at the same time severing connection with the Yamamoto Space Station, disallowing Nina to strike back at the Rebels with the Ion Cannon... yet. The revenge for the casualties of the Iron Fist, attack on the server station connecting Kyoto with Yamamoto station and Nina's personal vendetta by being distracted by Lars and Alisa came quickly as Nina marched together the Fourth Fleet with everything she had and launched an all-out attack on Hokkaido where her spies told her the Rebels were hiding. The following naval battle was bloody and costly for both sides, but in the end, the Tekken Force managed to break through the escaping ships of the Rebellion and set foot upon the island...
"And so the battle at the sea of Japan came to an end. I'm told we destroyed hundreds of Rebel ships that day. Even if it had been thousands, it wouldn't have made up for the Iron Fist."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #17 - Hokkaido
The Iron Fist's Revenge
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"By the time we landed on Hokkaido, whatever shock we'd felt at the destruction of the aircraft carrier Iron Fist had been replaced by anger. For months we'd treated the Yggdrasil Rebellion like a disobedient child, only to be repaid for our tolerance with treachery on an unimaginable scale. Frankly, I don't remember much of the fighting. I guess we won."
The Iron Fist's Revenge: With the naval battle in the Sea of Japan being victorious for the Mishima Zaibatsu, Nina Williams soon enough ordered a full-scale assault upon the Yggdrasil Rebellion main base located on Hokkaido island. The 101st Special Forces Detachment led the first vanguard into the field, fighting their way to the base's entrance with heavy losses on both sides, blood shed on all sides. But the consistent and overwhelming air and mech support proved to be decisive as the 101st managed to create a breakthrough on the front and broke inside the installation built into the mountain. The battle was bloody and costly, but the vengeance for Iron Fist was done as most of the base personnel were captured or killed, the rest was on the run. Nina Williams came personally to oversee the inspection of the ruined base. She was overall impressed by Lars's ingenuity and talent of his men. And the data recovered from Rebellion's computers led them to the far north where the Rebels are trying to excavate an ancient artifact while fighting other factions for control over the excavation site. The final battle was approaching and 101st, though tired and battered, was ready to make their stand for Zaibatsu's total victory.
"After the battle, the surviving members of the 101st finally caught their breath. The Tekken Force and Mishima Zaibatsu had taken the Rebels' best shot and came up standing. Now it was our turn to strike."

101st Special Forces Detachment, Entry #18 - Arctic Circle, North Pole
Our Finest Hour
From the journal of cpt. Rex 'Hakha' MacKenzie.
"No one ever complained about the cold at the North Pole. We never felt it. Even though we were blinded by blizzards and stammered by frozen ice and temperatures so low everything was freezing up in place, we could see the final end of the Yggdrasil Rebellion in our rifle sights. Was it only a mirage? Perhaps. But on that day, on that damned place, our blood ran hot with dreams of victory, melting the ice that stood in our way."
Our Finest Hour: Given the information gathered from the destroyed base of the Yggdrasil Rebellion on Hokkaido, Nina Williams deducted that the mining site at North Pole in the Arctic Circle was where Lars and his allies were heading - to recover the Pandora's Box and use its power to claim the final victory. That cannot stand, Nina assumed, and ordered the 101st Detachment to escort the 7th Armored Battalion, four wings of strike fighters and a destroyer fleet upon the beaches of the Arctic Circle. Their objective was simple - clear out anyone in the way towards Pandora's Box. That included the Rebellion, G-Corporation, Shadaloo, Interpol, everyone. Anyone who dared to stand in the way of justice and iron-fisted vengeance will suffer fate worse than death. Nina's plan was to plant an Ion Cannon beacon upon the Box and with the power of fusion and ion beam, the Yamamoto would fire its laser upon the whole installation. The battle predating it was bloody, probably the most destructive battle ever fought on the soil of the Arctic. Tanks crushing through the icey snow towards the mining installation, Tekken Force soldiers moving in formations and the aircrafts fighting in the skies while nearly freezing their machines down. But in the end, thanks to personal involvement of Nina Williams, the 101st managed to not only defeat everyone in their path who did not either die or escape, but also to plant the beacon upon the Pandora's Box and after leaving the site, the Yamamoto fired a destructive shot upon the Box... the whereabouts of the Box after the dust receded and the Tekken Force Special Forces division secured the site are unknown, so are those of the Rebellion, or the G-Corporation. This was the end of the First Global War, ending with complete victory of the Mishima Zaibatsu and forming of the Japanese Military Directorate. Nina Williams had won... but for what cost?
"As the Rebels fled, the 101st gathered around a burning mining station and let out a cheer that shook the stars. The Rebellion was done, the Iron Fist was being rebuilt, bigger than ever. Order had finally returned to the planet, and in no small part due to the efforts of the fighting men of the 101st."
