A Call to Action: Revenge of the Apple

Chapter 6

Last night, The New Kid and Call Girl had confronted the store manager about the information. He tried to escape before being killed in an explosion. Not before he told the kids about the location of the Night Riders. They are at the old tower where Big Gay Al used to live.

The bell rings meaning school is over. Walking out was none other than the New Kid.

"Hey, New Kid."

The New Kid looks to see not Wendy or her friends, but Randy. He approaches him.

"I heard that Best Buy was raided the other night. I know you, Call Girl, and the others had investigated it and thinking that Victoria's Secret was to blame. I know that Apple is behind this raid but we need to find out what they are planning." He said to the New Kid.

The New Kid stays silent.

"At least you got the info from the Apple store manager before he got blown up last night. Listen, no electronic store is safe with Apple roaming around. You have to stop it. And I will be able to help you bring them to justice." Randy continued "Until them, we will meet again."

With that said, Randy leaves the New Kid.

"New Kid!"

The New Kid turns to see Wendy and her friends.

"Wendy told us about the Apple Store fight. We know where the Night Riders are." Heidi said.

"We head to the tower in an hour. Girls, get your suit ready!" Wendy shouted.

The kids leave the school to head for their homes to get ready for the mission.

Late in the afternoon, the New Kid and the Dueling Damsels have arrived at the Big Gay Blossom. They look to see nothing around.

"No guards." Heidi said.

"This feels too easy." Bebe said.

"We should check it out, get what we need and get out." Wendy said.

The kids head inside the tower to investigate the whereabouts of the Night Riders. Little do they know that they are being watched. A hidden camera watches the heroes as they went up to the second floor.

Watching the monitor, the leader of the Night Riders sees them.

" I see we got company." He said to his gang. He turns to one of them, "Take care of it. Buy us some time to escape."

After reaching the third floor of the tower, the New Kid, Call Girl, Mrs. Hopper, and Roller Gal made to see a lone figure who stares at the view of the tower.

"We got you now!" Wendy said.

The figure calmly turns around to see that he is covered in armor also wearing a helmet to cover his head.

"Glad you make it here." He said with a disguised voice. "I see that you are the New Kid."

"Where are the rest of you?!" Mrs. Hopper demands.

"It is only me. My leader and the others are beyond your reach." The armor teenager said. "You will never make me talk about them."

"I know that you guys were the ones who destroyed the PS5 system!" Roller Gal accused.

"You got that correct." The armored teen said.

"You better give up. We got you outnumbered." Wendy said.

"Not for long." The armored teen said before pulling something from his back. In his hands was a staff, "This new kid will be tested."

The Dueling Damsels look at the New Kid who took a step forward before drawing his fists out and took a stance to fight. The armored teen charges with a war cry at the New Kid who jumped in the air and does a Superman Punch so hard. He is thrown back into some crates. His mask is damaged from the impact before he forced to take it off. A ski mask covers his face. He grabs his staff and charges at the New Kid who dodges it before uppercutting him and grabbing his staff. He then whacks the enemy across the face before throwing it off the building.

Beaten and bloodied, the armored teen scurries away from the New Kid before reaching to the edge.

"How is this possible?" He asked in shock.

"You have underestimated the New Kid." Roller Gal said.

"Hahahahahahahahah." The teen laughed wickedly before he takes something out of his pocket before tossing it to the New Kid. It is a flash drive. "You will have to deal with others before dealing with my leader. Apple prevails!" He runs off the edge before falling. A thud was heard before silence. They quickly rush to the edge before they see the teen who is now dead from the fall. He has committed suicide to avoid being captured.

"He killed himself." Mrs. Hopper said.

The New Kid and the Dueling Damsels have defeated the first Night Raiders.

"We should be ready if they strike again." Call Girl said to the New Kid.

The New Kid nods before taking Call Girl's hand and the group returns home after their mission is complete.
