Playing Pokemon Go really helped with this chapter... ironic, anyways

I updated something pertaining to Yuya in the very first chapter but it doesn't really change the story.

Yuya never showed being shy so I changed it to he is now an Innocent and happy boy. that was all that was changed for now anyway hope you enjoy

Chapter 25

Fusion:

Walking around, a student dressed in an Rah yellow jacket found the passed out Shiun'in Sora who was just teleported back from standard. He saw a Obelisk teacher and alerted the teacher who confirmed with his own eyes what the student saw and took the unconscious boy to the hospital wing while he told another teacher that went to alert the Professor. The teacher went running and when he turned the corridor he saw the Professor walking fast to the hospital wing as well.

"Professor, Shiun'in Sora has returned back from standard." The teacher said walking right behind the professor. Leo slowed his step a little showing the teacher he was listening and the teacher told him what the other teacher told him.

" It seems the program to force him back was activated. He most likely was about to reveal his identity out of fear or rage. We'll find out what happened by examining his memories." Leo said as he waved off some students that saluted when they saw him walking by. After entering the hospital wing the teacher left his side as he went into the room alone. When he entered the room the stern look he had on his face was replaced with worry. Sitting on the bed was Serena who was pouting as Yuri sliced an apple and gave her the slice.

"Serena, are you okay?" he asked, taking a seat on the other side of the bed. Yuri snorted at this and Serena pouted even more.

"Yes father, I feel better now. And before you ask, Yuri brought me here and felt bored and so he stayed." she said as his eyes went to the boy in the room. Satisfied with the answer Leo grabbed the apple slice Yuri offered which caused Serena to get mad.

"That's mine! Get your own apple!" she yelled trying to grab the slice but Leo popped it into his mouth with a smirk. She crossed her arms but when Yuri gave her another slice she opened it and began to chew after he put it into her mouth.

"She began saying weird things but the other teachers and her opponent couldn't hear what she was saying." Yuri finally said. With a sigh Leo put his hand on head.

"If you feel like you need a break just-"

"No father I can do this! Let me help you…please…" she said.

"You know I can help too." Yuri said but he already knew the answer.

"Yuri you know that if you left you can have a relapse." Leo said but he knew Yuri wasn't mad. With a shrug Yuri got up when Barrett came into the room.

"I know" he said as he waved his hand with some sass and a smirk and left to return to his room. Serena and Leo chuckled as Barrett shook his head.

"Professor, you may want to see this,(faces the wall as his duel disk lights up and projects on image the other side of the white wall) when we were going through Shiun'in Sora's memories we saw something." they looked through and as always Serena felt uncomfortable looking through someone else's memories. Ray was one thing since she was Ray but another person was wrong. And as always her father would hold her hand helping her know this was for the future of Yuri, Zrac, Ray, and herself. So she crushed that uncomfortable feeling and watched through Sora's memories. She watched him enter the dimension and then she saw her look alike in a serious duel. When she saw why Yuzu (the three kept calling her Yuzu-onii chan and the boy called her Yuzu) looked up she clenched her fathers hand and Leo squeezed back also in disapproval. There with three kids scared out of their mind was the final fragment of Zarc, his innocence. He was holding onto one of the kids as the other two held him. She almost jumped out of the bed she was in when she saw all four of them fall but then she breathed a sigh of relief when Yuzu took control of the two cards that were new to them and from the look on her fathers face she knew he was thinking, and saved all four of them. She then saw Yuzu beat Shingo and with a nod of approval she was glad but she knew after what she saw this girl can't protect Yuya. She then watched as Shingo and his goonies tried to forcefully take Yuya's cards (saw Yuzu hand them back to him and then put them into his deck) but Sora stepped in and knocked them out. They continued to watch until they saw the final duel between Ruri and Sora. The light the bracelet created caused them to cover their eyes but luckily the hologram dulled the light but not enough. They saw the end and then the forced teleport and that was where it ended.

"Her anger and pain, I felt it before I was brought here by Yuri…" Serena said recalling the final summon that Ruri did before she defeated Sora. She felt the pain in her chest although numbed as she watched she knew that when the duel was going on she was in more pain. She vaguely remembered saying everything that Ruri said at the same time as her. Serena looked at her fathers face and knew what he was thinking.

"One day is all I need and then I can go bring Yuya here." She said and when both men looked at her they could see the determination in her eyes. With a nod Leo and Barrett both left to allow the girl to rest.

"Pendulum…You truly outdone yourself Zarc. Barrett." Leo said to himself then he turned to Barrett.

"We have already begun trying to understand the concept of Pendulum. We will have a test run in a few hours." Barrett said with a salute. Leo nodded and both men began to walk away not noticing the shadow that was hiding from both men in a dark corner of the hallway.

? POV:

I watched as both Leo and Barrett left. I waited a few minutes before leaving as well. I'm walking through but pass a few people that me and I acknowledge back and keep walking. I walked around a few corners when I found the place I wanted to go, the room that kept all the duel disks that allowed for teleportation. I grabbed one and left as fast as possible. They kept me here but I will prove to everyone that I'm strong that I deserved to be on the front lines too. I will hunt down the XYZ users in standard and then they will see that they made a mistake keeping me here. I activated the teleportation and the room I was in suddenly turned into an alleyway. I slowly walked forward and when I saw The glass building reaching the sky I knew I was in Standard from the pictures I saw when I hacked the computers and saw an image of Leo and a woman with a young boy in front of.

"Now where are the XYZ users" I said out loud then waited for the sun to rise since it would be hard to find someone if they're in bed. So I walked to an open abandoned building and held a cynical laugh inside when I saw a blanket on top of a sofa. Ignoring the burnt area all around the room I fell asleep hoping to get as much rest as possible to begin my search tomorrow as the waves and wind passed by.

During the duel of Ruri and Sora, when her bracelet lit up, all other three girls felt Ruri's rage, they all became connected. I also forgot to add this in the previous chapter but the spirit with Reira is actually way stronger than any other spirit which allowed it to interfere with everyone that were trying to leave.
