Been a while but I'm back with a new chapter!

it's sad about the passing of Kazuki Takahashi so lets all remember the man who gave us Yugioh and keep his work alive through our support of the show, our duels and our support in our own stories of our favorite anime to make him proud of the fans he created from all around the world from a young audience to the older loyal fans of today.

May he rest in peace and may his legacy continue to play on, in all of us.

Chapter 27

Dream:

Walking in an area that was completely destroyed Yuzu was trying to find a way to the building with what looked like a giant pendulum was at. She didn't know why but she knew she had to get there as fast as possible or someone very important was going to be lost forever. She looks around and when a group of tanks come towards her she instantly goes into a building that was destroyed but still standing. She watched as the tank fired at the dragon near the pendulum and when it was filled with smoke she could feel her blood run cold but then what looked like eyes could be seen through the smoke. Next she saw what looked like a dragon with many mouths attacking the tank destroying it after the people inside escaped. She saw a man with dark gray hair, and was wearing a light blue flannel shirt with gray slack pants. She felt her body move to hide deeper in the building when he looked around in a panic. She felt like she knew this man but she also felt she had to hide. She looked behind herself and saw a door leading to the back alley which led a direct path to the main street then a straight path to the pendulum. She feels her body move and then she makes it to the main street when she hears a man calling her name. She was about to turn around before a loud beeping noise could be heard and she fell into darkness.

Dream End:

Waking up to silence the alarm on her dual disk, Yuzu looked around her room in alarm. She could hear voices down stairs so she got up and got dressed before she went downstairs completely forgetting the dream she just had.

"I know it sounds crazy but it's true." She heard Yuya's voice in the kitchen.

"As soon as you entered the park your pendulum began to shine? You're right, that is crazy! Yuzu has been in a coma for two days?! How can I believe that crazy nonsense?! What if my baby never wakes up again?!" She heard her father say with clear worry in his voice.

"Don't worry. Your daughter will wake up soon, I know it. She's not weak after all." she heard Yoko enter the conversation. And from the silence that followed that statement she knew her father calmed down a little bit. With a smile on her face Yuzu decided that it was time to make her appearance and prove Yoko right. When she entered the room she was met with silence.

"YUZUUUUUU!" Her father yelled as he jumped over the table and embraced her in a bear hug as tears fell from his eyes.

"Dad…I'm okay" she said, patting him on the back trying to calm him down. After a few minutes of her father crying and Yuzu trying to calm him down with Yuya's help but both were failing miserably. Having had enough of the show, Yoko walked up to Shūzō and grabbed his collar and carried him back to the table over her shoulder like a jacket she didn't want to wear but had just to look cool. Both Yuya and Yuzu blinked, stupefied by this but after a few seconds they both went to the table with Yuzu's sulking father and Yuya's mom.

Inside a Hospital Room

Shun sat by his little sister's bed as he listened to the beeping sound and her calm breathing. He could hear the doctors talking among themselves in confusion and worry. They spoke low but not low enough for Shun not to be able to hear. Clenching his fist when he heard the doctors say she may be in a coma because of stress and he remembered her duel with Sora that still not being there made him feel like shit. Not seeing the end of the duel and then finding his sister passed out in an area away from the park didn't help ease his worry. He looked at his duel disk and contemplated sending Ruri back home but knew that she would probably find her way back and then sick her birds on him.

"Nii…san…?" he looked over and when he saw her awake the distressed look on his face changed to relief.

"Ruri, are you okay? What happened to that fusion brat? Why-"

"Nii-san, please calm down. I beat that boy so don't worry also the fusion minion is here." She said sitting up. The doctors came in instantly to check her pulse and as did she remembered what happened before she passed out. She told them she was just tired and that maybe fatigue had caught up. Accepting her answer the doctor told her since she was okay that she could leave but to relax and if she feels anything wrong with her health to instantly come back. With a bow from Ruri and a nod from Shun both siblings left.

"Alright tell me everything." Shun said and with a nod Ruri began to say everything even though Shun saw some of the duel he kept quiet. She told him of her victory and he smirked at it knowing that Sora must be fuming, not only did he lose to him he also lost to his sister with even weaker monsters than him. She continued on and told him about her encounter with Yuzu which caused him to frown and knowing that she was now on her brother's watch list, Ruri let out a sigh then told him about her encounter with Rin.

"So the fusion min-"

"Rin"

"...So Rin teleported into the park breaking a pole and the two of you dueled and then Yuzu jumps into the middle of the fight and then her bracelet releases a bright light and then everything after that is blank." he said after Ruri corrected him about Rin's name and nodding with every point he brought up. She didn't know why but she just felt like she should remember her name even though she was the enemy. They walked past a screen showing Hokuto's duel. Across the street Futoshi, Tatsuya, and Ayu were running to the center court when Ayu stopped running when she saw Ruri and Shun.

"Eh?"

"What's wrong Ayu?" Tatsuya asked when he saw she had stopped.

"Yuzu was over there but she was with that mean duelist and she had long hair." Ayu said pointing but by the time all three looked over Ruri and Shun were gone.

"That couldn't be her, maybe it's a fan? Also Yuzu is asleep, remember? We have to hurry!" Futoshi said beginning to run and both Tatsuya and Ayu ran to catch up, not seeing the shadow that was also watching the screen in the alley way.

In the Center Court

"YUZU!( Gongenzaka yelled when he saw Yuzu and instantly went for a hug as tears fell from his eyes.) Nothing else makes the man Gongenzaka happier! I was so worried the past two days!" Yuzu sweatdropped over the sense of Déjà Vu.

"You're exaggerating." she said as Gongenzaka nuzzled his face with hers.

"Nope, everyone was worried." Yoko said and just at that moment Futoshi, Tatsuya, and Ayu came in and when they saw Yuzu they all shouted her name and also wrapped her in a bear hug with Gongenzaka still hugging her she could only laugh as all four of her friends had tears in their eyes.

"Now if Sora returns…"

"You Show School will be back to normal,'' Futoshi said first with Ayu finishing the sentence. Yuzu looked away for a brief moment when Gongenzaka agreed with the kids that they couldn't celebrate yet, making it so that nobody saw her face.

"It's okay we can try the hospital to see if someone took him there just in case." Shūzō said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Ummm…" Yuzu began to say only for Futoshi to interrupt with an apology.

"I shouldn't be celebrating either. I lost yesterday." he said looking down at the ground.

"I heard. Reira defeated you by Synchro Summoning, right?" She asked Futoshi, agreeing with her and also saying that he was shocked that she can do Synchro and that it gave him the shivers.

"Then you make him shiver next time, Futoshi!" She said and he smiled.

"See Yuzu-Nii Chan said the same thing as Yuya did." Ayu said and shocked Yuzu that when she looked at Yuya he smiled and nodded. Just then Mieru Hokuto, Masumi, and Yaiba came in. Mieru was about to jump Yuya when he dogged her causing her to hit the ground. Yuzu walked up to the three ignoring the girl behind her winning and Yuya trying to calm her down.

"Hīragi Yuzu, so you finally show your face after two days? Have you come to witness my greatness?" Hokuto said mockingly only for Masumi to elbow him in the side causing him to fall over in pain.

"I want to talk to Kurosaki." She asked, making Hokuto turn white as she had completely ignored him. Confused, Masumi asked what she wanted to talk about. She said she just really needed to talk to him but Yaiba said that was impossible since even they barely talked to him. She looked down, distressed knowing that the only person that could help her meet Ruri was now impossible to meet. Yaiba then invited her and everyone in You Show to come see his next duel against a girl called Damya Resha. They all left to take their seat and waited with anticipation for both duelists to take the field. Yaiba watched as his opponent took the field with her long black dress with only white pearls that popped out, she also wore a black veil that made it impossible to see her face. Both looked at each other and Yaiba almost took a step back when Resha smiled at him.

In the warehouse from Shingo's and Shuns Duel

Walking quickly the person who had come from fusion had a bag full of food. They looked around, and when they saw the coast was clear they quickly ran to the doors and then went inside. After closing the door they looked at their unexpected guest. Rin sat there tied up in wires after she had tried to attack them after waking up. She almost got the jump on the other person but since they were trained they were able to subdue her rather quickly.

"I got breakfast. I'll untie you only if you swear not to attack me again." They said but the glare Rin was giving them didn't leave. They let out a sigh and activated their duel disk and intrigued by what was being projected on the wall, Rin watched the same duel between Tōdō Yaiba and Resha Damya. She watched the duel and she felt sick to her stomach with what she saw.

'What… What's going on?!' she thought as her blood turned cold from what she just saw. The person turned off their dual disk and stared off into space. They got up and with a quick look they passed Rin her food and only untied her arms so she could at least eat something but Rin just stared off into space with a pale face. With a tired sigh they left Rin alone to her thoughts.

'This world is just like our home Yugo… I'm scared.' she thought to herself and held back her tears that she knew would come out.

In the Stadium

Everyone sat in silence after what they just witnessed. They all watched as Resha Damya left the field and Yaiba was taken away on a stretcher. Everybody that saw the duel was confused, one minute the two people took the field then the next the duel was over with the winner already decided but nobody could remember what happened. So everyone could only sit in stunned silence as Resha walked away from the field.

"The first round of the Junior Youth Championship is now complete. Let's announce the matchups for the second round. Winners, please insert your registration cards into your Duel Disk." Nico said with a shaky voice after Yaiba was taken out on a stretcher. All the winners put their registration card into their Duel Disk and saw as an image of their opponent was projected.

"I'm in tomorrow's first match, my opponent is Surprise School's Tanegashima Yuzo." Gongenzaka said. Looking at his duel disk.

"I'm in the second day's second match against Asim Aya from Anatolia.'' Yuya said.

"What about Yuzu Onii- Chan?" Futoshi asked when he saw the serious look on Yuzu's face. Futoshi, Tatsuya, and Ayu all got up when she didn't answer and when they saw her opponent they were shocked that she had to duel Resha Damya. Everyone was worried especially her father but she starred in determination.

'Damya Resha, I don't know what you did but your style of dueling, I can't accept.' Yuzu thought as she stared at her duel disk not noticing that Resha was looking at her with a smile on her face that held no emotions.

I wanted to put Yuzu against Isao Kachidoki but then me and my sister got to talking and decided to change it up a bit and introduce some old mechanics back. now what those mechanics are well... stay tuned for the next chapter of Yugioh Arc V.
