Hello again this chapter is a bit boring but it's also going to jump between different people.

Chapter 30

"YUZU!" Yuya and Shuzo yelled when Yuzu ran out of the duel arena. They all tried to run after her but Yoko held up her arm stopping them.

"Yuya you have a duel to prepare for." Yoko said, causing Yuya to look at her in confusion.

"But what about Yuzu? Also my duel is tomorrow!" Yuya asked with Tatsuya, Futoshi, and Ayu nodding, not understanding why Yoko was stopping them. Shuzo was staring at Yoko and then the area his daughter was then at the hand that held him in place then back to the area.

"Leave this to the adults. You kids should go home." Yoko said, now walking away with Shuzo who was already beginning to drag her to move faster.

"But!" Yuya said only for Gongenzaka to grab him by the shoulder and shake his head.

"We should leave this to the adults. They may know what to say and we may make it worse." He said and when no one said anything they began to go home. Futoshi, Ayu, and Tatsuya went back to their parents who were already trying to cheer them up. Yuya looked back at the arena then with Gongenzaka right by his side he went home as well.

Masumi starred in concern with Hokuto holding her shoulder with concern in his eyes too. They saw Yuzu start to cry and run away but they swore they both heard a voice say that everything was all right and to go to their friend. Masumi saw Yuya's mom and Yuzu's dad leave in the same direction she ran and felt conflicted if she should follow them or go see if what the voice said was true and see if Yaiba was okay. She looked at Hokuto who nodded at her and with a smile she followed both parents while Hokuto went to the hospital.

Running as fast as her legs could, Yuzu never once stopped or slowed down. People quickly got out of her way since she didn't even try to dodge. She didn't even know where she was going; she just wanted to get as far away from everything. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't even realize she was at the park. She only stopped running because she fell. She laid there and the events of the duel that she could remember kept repeating in her mind and she couldn't make it stop. She felt the pain from the duel which didn't help her mind at all. She remembered Resha's words and as much as she wanted to deny and yell the words she wanted to come out came out as choked sobs. She tried to lift herself but didn't have the energy to get up so she just stayed in that position crying. When the sun was completely gone Yuzu finally got up and finally took in her surroundings and realized she was at the park that Yuya would always go to when he was sad when they were younger. She walked to the swing and sat in it and let the cold wind hit her tear stained face.

'Now I wish I had a pair of goggles like Yuya does to hide' Yuzu thought not even bothering to wipe her tears. When she heard footsteps she allowed her head to slowly lift and saw Yoko standing in front of her. Yoko had a gentle look on her face as she walked closer and began to wipe away Yuzu's tears.

"You and Yuya really are alike." was all she said which caused more tears to fall. Yuzu jumped off the swing and grabbed Yoko and just kept apologizing. Yoko just hugged her back and let Yuzu cry in her arms. After a while Yuzu began to tell Yoko everything and Yoko just silently listened. When Yuzu finished she tried to calm her breathing.

"To think that no one saw what was really going on with the duel. I'm sorry you had to go through that." Yoko said, hugging Yuzu close as she stroked her hair to help her calm down. Yuzu tried to talk but no words would come out.

"Yuzu It's time to go. Don't worry everything will be fine" Yoko said and when she felt Yuzu stiffen she gave a reassuring hug and began to lead her home. Masumi stood behind a tree shaking as both Yoko and Yuzu walked away. She replayed everything Yuzu said and felt anger and fear fill her. Anger for finding out what Yaiba really faced and fear knowing that just like Yuzu, Yaiba had to duel that bitch all alone. She imagined the fear on his face when he dueled knowing that he was completely alone since no one knew what was going on. She felt tears fall from her frustration and furiously wiped them away. She looked behind the tree and when she saw she was alone she ran home while the security camera showed Reiji everything he needed to see and hear. Nakajima stood with his mouth open processing everything he heard.

"What the hell." one of the people said but Reiji stood up and began to leave. Right before he left he told everyone to go home and get some rest. Reiji walked back to his main office and began to look through the records of Resha but only saw the deck she had, the grade she was in and her win-lose ratio. Nothing about what type of person she was. He looked at her home and saw she was from Egypt but other than that there were no red flags about her. He stared at the face of the girl that looked innocent but hid a monster behind her smile.

'I really need to do a thorough background check' he thought as he sent the picture of Resha to all LDS affiliated schools. He also made sure to send her picture to all security so they could also help but from what he remembered he had a feeling it would be useless but better safe than sorry. When he was done he walked to the window and stared at the moon. Reira watched her brother in secret and when she saw him look at the moon she left in a hurry back to her room before her mother saw her. She hummed the song the woman sang to her when she heard her cries to help cheer her up like she did when she was scared but the woman kept crying.

Yuzu stood outside her door trembling. Yoko stood behind her and gave her a reassuring nod. Yuzu's hand trembled as she opened the door. She said night to Yoko and went into the house, closing the door. When she looked inside she suddenly was hit with how big her home is now and how quiet it is too. She moved slowly to the next room and felt her breath hitch when she saw her dad waiting in the kitchen. She stood there as her memories played of her duel and her father going into that tomb but here he was sitting in the kitchen twitching a lot looking at the clock right in front of him. She wanted to move but her feet stayed planted not wanting to break this dream.

"Da…Dad?..." Yuzu choked out, shocking him and with a swift turn Shuzo ran and Hugged Yuzu in a tight hug asking if she was okay. She started to cry again causing Shuzo to panic thinking she was hurt. She hugged him tightly and just cried as he tried to calm her down reassuring her everything was okay. Outside Yoko could hear Yuzu crying and Shuzo trying to comfort and with a smile she began to head home knowing she would be bombarded by her son with questions. She let her mind think about what Yuzu told her about Resha and with a serious face she knew she and Reiji needed to have a serious talk.
