Loki of Tomorrow Season 2 Episode 3 As The Legends were doing their usual changing their outfits to blend in to a timeline, Sara finishes up with her outfit as she sees Sylvie staring out to the window gazing upon the timestream itself.
She walks up to the Loki Variant as she tries to talk with her.
"Hey!" Sara said as she was met with a blade to her throat by Sylvie.
"Oh. It's you. What was your name again?"
"Sara. Sara Lance."
"Right." Sylvie puts her blade away easing her guard.
"I know it's odd being thrusted in like this. With us. So anything you need to get more comfortable. Just let me know." said Sara.
Sylvie got a good look at Sara. Liking what she sees. But her eyes caught a ring on her finger as she returned focus on her. She smiled and said,
"There is one thing...but it appears someone got to you first".
Sylvie them used her magic to conjure a medieval inspired outfit as she took her leave.
However she awkwardly bumps into Loki as they simply addressed each other.
"Loki"
"Sylvie"
As Sylvie goes to prepare for the mission, Loki meets up with Sara.
"Too much?" he asked.
Sara turned to see Loki in a all black suit with tie and designer shoes.
"You might wanna turn it down a notch. Just a smidge" said Sara.
"What did you have in mind?" he asked.
"Iunno. Something a bit more...Shakespeare" Sara suggested.
"Shakespeare. Alright then" said Loki casting another spell for something a bit more medieval Renaissance.
Loki spread out his arms again seeking her approval.
"Close enough"
"You have to forgive me. This is technically also my first mission with The Legends." said Loki.
"You'll catch on quick." Sara said putting a hand on his shoulder.
The two stood in silence looking out towards the timestream.
"So. You gonna tell me about her?" Asked Sara.
"If you're referring to, "her" as Sylvie, then no. Not right now anyway." he answered.
"We've been fighting along side each other for a while now. You and I learned to trust each other. So why not tell me about Sylvie? What happened between the two of you?" Asked Sara.
"Of all the dozens of times I've stabbed people in the back, all my betrayals. My schemes and tricks. It never truly hits until it finally happens to you." said Loki.
"You loved her. Didn't you?" Asked Sara.
Loki only looked on in silence. Not wanting to answer that.
"I see..." Sara said breaking the awkward silence.
"Let's just get this over with" said Loki leaving.
Glasgow Scotland, Year Unknown
The Legends arrive at the castle as they were on the hunt for the time displaced dragon.
"Everyone remember the plan?" Asked Ava.
"Enchant the dragon, reset the timemerge" said Mobius holding his pruning stick.
The team look around at the dark and haunting halls of the castle as skeletons and scorch marks paint the stone walls. Gary walks over to a skeleton with armor on it as he picks up the shield as protection.
"Right then. What's the plan to lure the beast out of hiding?" Asked Constantine.
"We can cover more ground and increase our odds if we split up." said Loki.
"Like what? Scooby-Doo?" Asked Spooner.
"Scooby what?"
"Alright gang you heard him. Let's split up and search for clues." said Sara.
"The hell is she on about?" Asked Loki.
"It's from a cartoon" answered Mobius.
"The bloody hell is a cartoon?" Asked Sylvie.
"I'll take Ava, The Lokis and Moby. The rest of you take the other half of the castle. Keep your comms on." said Sara as she sees a pile of Armor and some weapons.
"Take a weapon or something. Last thing I need is anyone coming back with third degree burns." said Sara.
Loki then conjured a torch in his hand.
"After you" he said as Ava goes to follow Sara with Mobius and Sylvie following as well"
Meanwhile team 2 of Constantine, Nate, Mick, Behrad, Zari, Spooner, Gary and Astra also got through the chilling dark castle halls.
Constantine conjured a light source spell as he took point, leading through the darkness.
"Okay so uh, quick question?" Asked Gary.
"Spit it out lad" said Constantine.
"If we find the dragon first, how are we supposed to fight it exactly? You know, since it's a fire breathing death machine that has none of us able to stand a chance against it."
"Blast it to holy hell until backup arrives" said Spooner.
"Won't be easy love. Dragon scales are tough to cut through, let alone hurt." Explained Constantine.
"Well there's always piss it off and run away" said Zari.
"And unfortunately that's our best hope" said Constantine.
As the team continues their trek, Behrad was stopped dead in his tracks as he felt a presence behind him. And it wasn't the wind.
"Uh... Guys? There's something behind me isn't there?" he asked.
Constantine looked as there was a giant eye that opened through a hole in the castle wall.
"Oh bullocks"
"Behrad. Listen to me very carefully. Slowly, ever so slowly walk over towards us. There's nothing behind you. I promise" said Zari trying to get her brother to her and calm him down.
"That's it buddy. Slowly, no sudden movements" said Nate.
The eye then made a growling sound.
Gary began to panic as he raised the shield he picked up earlier.
"Take it easy mate. We don't want it set it off." said Constantine.
As Behrad was close to the rest of the team, Spooner lost her patience.
"Aw fuck it!"
She then blasts the dragon in the eye with a blaster she was holding.
"RUN!!!!" she shouts as the Legends quickly made a break for the exit.
The eye then busts through the wall and out came the dragon itself as it let's out a mighty roar and breathes out a hellish flame.
Meanwhile Team 1 entered a massive courtyard of the castle grounds.
"Babe. Just putting this out there in case we all get burned to a crisp before our wedding day.." began Ava.
"What you already not trusting me? I'm hurt" said Sylvie.
"Oh I don't think your in any position of having people trust you or being hurt Sylvie" Loki adds.
"If this is about what happened at the Citadel I don't think now is the best time" said Sylvie.
"Just like you popping back into my life again? Was that best time?" Asked Loki.
"Guys Guys! Get it together! We're trying to do our TVA duty of fixing the Sacred Timeline!" said Mobius.
"SHH!" hushed Sara as she heard something.
"Did you all hear that?" Asked Sara.
A roar was getting loudsmer and louder as did the sound of running.
"It kind of sounds like a.." Ava said as she was interrupted by,
"DRAAGOOOONNNN!!!" shouts Gary as the rest of the team ran for dear life as the dragon was on hot pursuit. Quite literally as it then began to breathe fire again.
"SPLIT UP NOW!" shouts Sara as the Legends split for cover.
The fire breath was reaching closer to the team,
"SARA LOOK OUT!" shouts Ava as Sara raised a shield she picked up to defend from the burning flames.
As it looks like it engulfed her, Loki held it back with his Frost giant power of the Jotunheim.
Ava and the rest run over to Sara and Loki.
"You guys okay?" she asked.
"A bit well done but alive" Sara joked.
"Right. Now the plan" said Sylvie.
Meanwhile team 2 were grabbing the dragon's attention as Astra and Constantine used their magic to piss it off to get aggro on them as Zari and Behrad used the Totem's power to use wind blast to also grab its attention. Mick and Nate did their part as Mick fired his heat gun and Nate armoring up trying to punch through dragon skin and scale. Spooner was firing shots at a distance with Gary behind her.
The dragon then roared as it swatted everyone away with its arm and tail causing the team to scatter.
"We gotta help the others. Come on." said Sara as her team ran to their aid.
The dragon then turned its attention to Gary as he looks with fear in his eyes and dread as he drops his shield and runs for his life.
"Oh shit. RUN GARY!" shouts Ava.
Gary runs across the courtyard as the dragon squashes a skeleton laying about into dust. The dragon breathes its fire as Gary ducks for cover as the fire barely hits him leaving a little flame on top of his hair. He screams as he quickly pats it out and crawls backwards with the dragon inching closer.
"GARY!" shouts Sara.
As the dragon inches close to eat him, it suddenly gets stopped in its tracks. Something that shocked pretty much everyone as the dragon turned around to see a woman in a costume with the Union Jack logo in her chest and a shield on her back, grabbing it's tail. Like she was some kind of British Super Soldier.
"GOT YA!" she shouts as the dragon roars and turns around.
The female super soldier gets dragged as she fought to get her footing still holding on.
"What the hell?" Asked Sara.
The dragon lifted up its tail and it tries to swat the woman off of it. She held on as long as she could until the dragon proved too much as she is flung to the air screaming.
Then the Legends see a man fly over to the woman to catch her.
"Using brute force are we Captain?" Asked the man.
"Yep. Be a dear and give me a swing back around will you?" she asked
The man then swung her around back to the dragon like she was a missile, raising her shield up dividing towards the dragon.
She lands on the head of the dragon as it knocked it down.
She lands as she carried Gary in her arms taking him to safety to the other Legends.
"I believe this gentleman belongs to you" the super soldier said.
The flying man then lands next to her as they both introduce themselves to the Legends.
Sara then gets an overwhelming sense of familiarity with the two.
"Wait. Quill?" Asked Sara.
The flying man presses his helmet as he revealed to be someone else.
"Wait. T'Challa?" Asked Sara.
"Have we met?" Asked T'Challa.
"Well yes but not as Star Lord." Explained Sara.
"And who are you supposed to be? Captain England?" Asked Mick
"No. The Name's Captain Carter! But you can call me Peggy. " said Peggy Carter.
"Peggy." said Sara to herself as she is then hit with a flashback memory of the Pym Particle Heist with Steve Rogers looking through the window to her office.
"Wait. You're Peggy. You're the one Steve Rogers knows about." said Sara.
"Hold on. How do you know Steve Rogers? Does he exist on your world?" Asked Peggy.
"Our world?" Asked Sara
"The Captain and I are from two different timelines. Different universes entirely. Ones not like yours." Explained T'Challa Star Lord.
"Okay that part were familiar with but how did you get here?" Asked Sara.
But before that question could be answered, a growling noise was heard as the dragon began to rise.
"Guess we'll have to answer this question later" said Captain Carter pulling off her shield and T'Challa Star Lord readying his blasters and activating his helmet.
