Chapter 39

The gang was now heading back to Angela's bar as they have learned that someone set the bar on fire and Angela was in danger

I can't believe some idiot set the bar on fire. Punk said

I know. We have to save Angela. Kisala said

Well then we better hurry. Punk said

Damn why did this have to happen? Jaster said

I don't know man but we have to stop the fire. Punk said

Right. Jaster said

Pretty girl okay? Hulk said

No Hulk she's inside the bar while it's on fire. Punk said

Pretty girl has to be saved. Hulk said

Exactly. Punk said

Hang on Angela i'm coming. Deego said

A few minutes later

The gang arrived back at Angela's bar and just like Burton said it was on fire

Jesus christ. Punk said

How awful... Jaster said

Angela! Where are you?! Deego said

Right here... a voice said

Deego saw Angela sitting on a long blocky seat next to a building and approached her

Are you okay? Deego said

I think so. Angela said

That's good... Deego said

I'm sorry, Deego. My bar...it's history now. I know it was your one and only hangout... Angela said

Angela...i didn't go there to hang out. I went to be with you. Deego said

I can't believe Gale would do this. Deego said

Angela was crying while Deego was holding her

Nrgh. Deego growled angrily

(Flashback)

A bunch of lasers were being fired while Deego and Gale were hiding behind a wall shooting at the enemies but then a man was running in

What the-? Wait! They're civilians! Deego said

Whaddya mean? The enemies are supposed to be special-forces in disguise! Gale said

We've been set up. This is a civilian ship! Deego said

Why? How could this happen?! Gale said

The man from before was now holding a tommy gun in his hand

Oh no! Deego said

I won't let you kill our children! the man said

Urk! Stop hold your fire! Deego said

Deego tried to stop the fight but it was too late as more lasers were being fired and Deego was caught in it

Arrrrgh! Deego yelled

Gale saw his partner get shot at as he fell to the floor and Gale went off to make them pay

You bastards...! Gale said

Gale...stop... Deego said as he was heavily wounded

Gale charged in and was going to shoot all of the civilians but that was the only thing Gale remembered

The gang saw Angela's bar was now burned to ashes

We killed a lot of citizens out of sheer ignorance. But that's no excuse. Gale and i quit the military after that incident. Since then...everything's gone crazy... Deego said

No kidding. Punk said

But why would they do this...? Kisala said

The military is full of people who don't want this war to end. Someone like that must have set us up. Deego said

Dog man set up? Hulk said

Yeah i was set up. They wanted to stir up hatred for the other side and did whatever they could to escalate our battles. Deego said

How horrible... Kisala said

We lost our pride as soldiers. Our fighting morale was shot, of course, but so was our will to live. Deego said

Deego... Jaster said

So that's what happened. Deego said

Wow. Punk said

The burden we carried these ten years has been a pretty heavy one. I think it's about time. Time for me to end this, Gale. Come on, guys. We're off to the mine. Deego said

Okay. Jaster said

Let's do this. Punk said

The gang was now going to go underground into the mines to find the ancient tablet and stopping Gale and a burnt picture was shown of Deego, Angela, and Gale

Meanwhile

Lobo and Tighten were already inside the underground mines looking for the ancient tablets

Man this place feels so rocky and dirty. Tighten said

Well what did you expect it's an underground mine. Lobo said

I know but it's so dark in here. Tighten said

Don't worry i got a flashlight. Lobo said

Really? Where? Tighten said

Right here. Lobo said as he took out a flashlight from his pocket

Oh cool that's so sick. Tighten said

Hell yeah it is. Lobo said

Awesome. Tighten said

Here you want one? Lobo said as he held out a flashlight

No thanks. Tighten said

Why not? Lobo said

I got heat-vision. Tighten said

So? Lobo said

So i'll use my heat-vision as a flashlight. Tighten said

I'm not so sure that's a good idea. Lobo said

Relax it'll be fine. Here watch this. Tighten said

Tighten then fired his heat-vision but then it hit a rock and the rock landed on one of Morarty's men killing them

Oops. Tighten said

So feel like using a flashlight now? Lobo said

Yeah. Thanks man you really are some... Tighten said

Before Tighten could finish Lobo covered his mouth

Shh. Lobo said as he took his hand off Tighten's mouth

What is it dude? Tighten said

(Sniffs) i smell something. Lobo said

You smell something? Tighten said

Like what? Tighten said

Treasure. Lobo said

Whoa seriously? Tighten said

Alright follow me. Lobo said

Tighten was following Lobo to the treasure it took a while until they found that's full of treasure inside

The gang at a station where the underground mine is held

So is this the place? Punk said

The gang was deep inside the mines as they were walking inside until some of Morarty's men stopped them

Halt! the first mafia man said

Crap. Punk said

Why are you here? the first mafia man said

Time for a shift change. Deego said as he handed the second mafia man a card

Huh? Haven't seen you around before, you new? the first mafia man said while the second mafia man was scanning the card

Haven't you heard? We joined the trilling team yesterday. Deego said

It checks out. the second mafia man said as he handed the card back to Deego

All right, go on in. the first mafia man said

We can go in? Punk said

Yeah i already told you can go in. the first mafia man said

Before they could leave the second mafia man called out to them

Well one had long black hair, black clothes, white skin and had red eyes. the second mafia man said

Also there was another guy with him. the first mafia man said

He had red hair, freckles on his face, and was wearing a white and red suit. the first mafia man said

It's just this person sounds so familiar. Punk said

Really? Deego said

Yeah i can't put my finger on it but he sounds familiar. Punk said

They went that way. Further deep into the mines. the second mafia man said

It appears the gang are now going to go deeper into the mines to find Gale, Lobo and Tighten, and the ancient tablets this is going to be very crazy stay tuned
