Loki of Tomorrow Season 2 Episode 9 "So you've four obviously come a long way. The Watcher said there was six of you. Who are the other two?" Asked Ava as everyone got their Chinese takeout.
"There was actually seven of us. But much to no one's surprise, he was a traitor and sought power for his own" said T'Challa Star Lord.
"Who was he?" Asked Zari.
"His cousin from another timeline where he saved Tony Stark from being captured by The Ten Rings. A terrorist organization." Explained Captain Carter.
"As it turned out, it was all a ruse to claim power to the nation of Wakanda. I should have known better" said T'Challa.
"What made him betray you?" Asked Nate.
"We were called upon to face a threat. Ultron." Explained Strange Supreme.
"The same Ultron The Avengers defeated back in Sokovia?" Asked Nate.
"Yes and no. This Ultron was from a timeline where he won. He claimed the body of a synthetic Android knows as The Vision which was made of pure vibranium. And also powered by the six infinity stones" Explained T'Challa.
"The same timeline one of our own came from. Survived from" Peggy adds.
"Who? Natasha?" Asked Thor with an egg roll in his mouth.
"Well that narrows it down to Natasha Romanoff and one other." said Constantine.
"Oh yeah the green chick. What was her name again. Right on the tip of my tongue. Oh right Gamora!" said Thor.
"Gamora? From the Guardians of the Galaxy?" Asked Ava
"I'm starting to think you know these people more than we do" said T'Challa.
"That's because this is the prime timeline we're in mate. In this timeline Natasha is a happily married woman with two kids, retired from The Avengers and Gamora is an active member of the Guardians of the Galaxy led by one Peter Quill. Our Star Lord." Explained Constantine.
"It's funny. In my timeline he works at a Dairy Queen and I saved him from his father Ego" said T'Challa.
"If I may ask... What about this timeline's Steve Rogers?" Asked Peggy.
"Personal connection love?" Asked Constantine.
"You can say that" said Peggy.
"Well then, Steve is the lucky lad that put the ring on Natasha. We even had a run in with their kids from the future during the Crisis event" said Constantine.
"What Crisis event?" Asked Strange Supreme.
"Oh that? You know, just the destruction of the known Multiverse back when it was even more separate. The Avengers had their own earth, we had our own. Now it's all mostly merged into one Prime Earth." Explained Nate.
"Interesting. I guess even The Watcher couldn't see that." said Strange Supreme.
"But what happened to Ultron? To T'Challa's cousin? Where did they go?" Asked Behrad.
"I have them locked away into a pocket dimension trapped in time for eternity. After Natasha shot an arrow that contained a virus that could overload Ultron, Erik Killmonger, absorbed the metal and made it his armor. So I had to do what was necessary" Explained Strange Supreme.
"So where can we find Natasha and Gamora?" Asked Astra.
"We don't know. After our win, The Watcher sent us back home. Then he just had us assemble again. We know just as much as you do" said Peggy.
"Right so I just remembered. Wasn't there more of us?" Asked Party Thor.
"I guess it's time to check on our trouble makers. Make sure they eat too" said Mobius.
"I'll go with you" said Ava.
"Alrighty then. Lead the way" said Mobius.
Back at the holding cell,
Sylvie and Sara were slowly slowing down and getting exhausted from fighting each other with Loki getting more annoyed.
"ALRIGHT THAT'S IT!" shouts Loki as he had enough.
Loki used his magic to separate the two as he goes to defuse the situation.
"ENOUGH! Killing each other won't solve a damn thing! I get it. I'm still hurt by what you did to me Sylvie. But you still came back. Sara I get why you're mad. You're keeping the team together and alive but goddamn it you have to trust me sometimes! We drive each other absolutely insane! We may try to kill each other. But that won't help us in the fight against Kang!" shouts Loki.
Sara and Sylvie then drop their weapons as the metal clang echoed in the silence.
"He's right. We're gonna need all hands on deck to win if we hope to stand a chance." said Sylvie as she extended her hand to Sara.
"Water under the bridge" said Sara ashe shook Sylvie's hand.
"Oh great! Whew that's a relief" said Mobius as he was joined by Ava and Captain Carter.
"Is that Chinese?" Asked Sara.
"Yeah Thor got hungry so we decided to order in and make sure you all eat too" said Ava.
"Gary let them go. They've served enough time" ordered Peggy.
Gary let's them go as he opened the cell door.
"So. You all ready to get back on track?" Asked Peggy.
Loki, Sylvie and Sara all looked at each other and exchanged nods.
"More than ever" he said.
"Good. Now let's go eat" said Peggy
The dining area,
"Alright so what have we got so far? Any leads on who's left from Team Guardians of the Multiverse?" Asked Sara.
"Negative. As we explained to the other already, we have no idea where the rest of our friends are." Explained Peggy.
"We hope the next Time merge would be a start. Given that seems to be the trend thus far" added Strange Supreme.
"Whatever the next Time merge is, that should be where our friends should be. Hopefully" said T'Challa.
"Same deal. Head to the site, plant the charge and get out of dodge" said Mobius.
"Has there been any connections to these Time merges? I mean these things can't just happen without it leading somewhere?" Asked Sylvie.
"Gideon! See if there's a way to track this at the source? Maybe we can figure out how to stop these" said Zari.
"Already on it." said Gideon.
"Good. So we get the rest of the Multiverse Guardians and reset these time merges before it gets worse on the timeline." said Sara.
"What if we run into Kang?" Asked Nate.
Loki and Sara has a nervous look in their eyes. Slight fear.
"We face him together. All of us. Legends and Guardians alike. We save the Multiverse or die trying." said Loki.
"Well I was thinking of not dying but that's just me" said Behrad.
"No one's going to die. Not as long as we work together. As a team" said Captain Carter.
"Sorry to interrupt Captain Carter. But I've detected an incoming time merge." said Gideon.
"Put it on screen" said Sara.
Gideon then plays a broadcast of 19th century Victorian London with modern day London.
"Oh brilliant. Guess I'm heading home" said Captain Carter.
"What's the disturbance?" Asked Sara
"I'm detecting large amounts of dark magic." Explained Gideon.
"Oh God please don't let it be Vampires or werewolves again" pleaded Ava.
"I'm afraid so" said Gideon.
"What about the exact source?" Asked Strange Supreme.
"I believe it appears to be some random local magician corrupted by dark magic" Explained Gideon.
"Bloke must've gotten it from a ancient rune" said Constantine.
"Not a rune John. A book." Gideon corrected.
"Get a visual if you be so kind" said Strange Supreme.
Gideon does just that as she pulls it up.
"Oh God." he said.
"It can't be! I thought the damn thing was a myth!" said Constantine.
"What is it?" Asked Sara.
"It's the goddamn Darkhold" answered Astra.
