Optimus470: I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Valtazar: Haha it's okay my friend, your wait is over.
Sekiriyote: There are two hammers, the original was destroyed after the original Thor sacrificed himself. I've said it thousands of times the new Thor is trying to use the replica Mjolnir.
Vulcan: The team's size will depend on who I have join.
Terror: Thor vs Vali? The Peace Summit is suppose to be for Issei and Vali's first fight.
The alarm echoed throughout the tiny room before a large hand gently shut it off followed by gray eyes opening to look at the clock, two hours before school, exactly as planned. Every morning while attending Valhalla Academy, Vandil Aurvandillson would wake up, exercise, shower, eat breakfast, and walk to school, that same morning routine still continued today as a student of Kuoh Academy. The Jotun smiled, today was his fourth day attending the human school and while it wasn't Valhalla Academy he honestly enjoyed living a semi-normal life. Semi-normal was the understatement for he wasn't just attending this human school without reason, this school, this whole town was in the territory of the master he now served; Rias Gremory. The red-haired princess was nothing like he thought Devils to be; she could be stern and strict from time to time but she honestly was a kind and loving person. His reason for joining the Peerage was not of his own accord but rather a means to save his life in the battle to stop Kokabiel.
After securing the last button of his shirt he looked himself over in the mirror to ensure he didn't miss anything before braiding his hair, he didn't braid his hair for victories achieved in battle but merely a fashion sense. Once finished he gathered his belongings and head out to Kuoh Academy, the young Jotun inhaled a deep breath and looked around the area Rias helped him move into; it was a quiet little neighborhood within walking distance to the Hyoudou residents. Vandill smiled as he recalled meeting Issei's parents and their astonishment that his head nearly touched the ceiling, being seven feet tall tends to leave quite the impression on people. When introducing himself, Mr. Hyoudou pulled the Giant aside and asked what he thought about him.
"Quite frankly, sir, if you think I'm like Issei then don't worry. My father gave me a long talk about girls and that I should treat them how they wish to be treated." Answered Vandill, leading to the elder Hyoudou bursting into tears of joy at hearing such a noble thing and pleading for the Jotun to try and teach his son these values.
I've never met someone as perverted as Issei. I get he's brimming with hormones but he takes it too far. If my father ever heard me say those things he'd strike me harder than Thor's thunderbolts.
"Good morning, Vandill."
Vandill felt his lip twitch, Rias' Queen, the Priestess of Thunder, the hybrid fallen angel, was the first to greet him today, it was Akeno Himejima's life he saved that led to his life as a Devil. The fact that she too was like Azrael and Eris, was a shocker but he certainly wasn't as surprised as she was to know a Goddess had Fallen Angel blood. Azazel's son showed Vandill that not every Fallen Angel was bad, something Akeno clearly did not agree with by the dirty looks she kept sending toward Azrael and lashing out about being a Fallen Angel's daughter. Her past must have caused her to have a fallout with her father and his kind just like what happened to poor Eris and Zeus. The poor girl must have not thought there would be others like her in the world but Eris and Azrael proved her wrong and that revelation shook her.
Akeno's secret wasn't the only revealed in that fateful battle; there was Kiba being the last survivor of the Excalibur Project and the most important and shocking of them all was God of the Bible being dead all this time. He still couldn't believe the creator of Sacred Gears had died and his death was covered up by the Christianity leaders, luckily Rias' brother explained it was to prevent mass hysteria around the world and within the Church. The reason was agreeable by the young Giant, it wouldn't just lead to panic within the Church but hundreds of followers breaking away like Commodus or possibly even sparking a civil war that would destroy Christianity.
"Vandill?"
Realizing he was deep in his head and Akeno was right next to him, he dashed the thoughts away, turning his attention to Rias' Queen, "Good morning, Akeno. I apologize for that. I was thinking."
"About Asgard?" Her smile turned sympathetic, "I'm sure you miss your old home and friends but you must understand you gave your life to save mine… if you feel I'm to blame…"
"No!" Boomed Vandill, startling Akeno at his sudden outburst, "it's not your fault. I was ready to lay down my life to protect whoever was in harm's way. You and Havarti were in danger and I chose to give up my life to save the both of you. I was not afraid to die, I was afraid of failing to protect my friends."
"And…what about…"
"Your ties to the Fallen Angels? I will not speak of it unless you wish to."
"I don't."
"Then we have nothing to worry about."
Akeno blinked at how casually he would brush aside such a serious subject about her, did he truly not care she was part Fallen Angels? Her secret was revealed to everyone yet he still chose to give his life to save her's meaning he didn't care if she was part Fallen Angel which should have been obvious by his act of fighting alongside a Fallen Angel to save Rias' cousin and the town. Vandill's acceptance of her was grateful but what would the others, especially Issei and Asia, two humans both murdered by a Fallen Angel, think of her? The God of Thunder, like Vandill, said he didn't care she was part Fallen but was he saying that to comfort her? He too was hurt by a Fallen Angel, not physically but emotionally, Eris, the Goddess of Chaos, said she and Akeno were similar and Eris was right.
Never in her entire life would Akeno have encountered someone just like her, someone with the same tragedy as she experienced. A shudder ran down her spine at recalling the stories of Zeus being a womanizer, perhaps he forced a Fallen Angel to sleep with him and then took Eris to Olympus and seal her Fallen Angel powers away. Maybe that's what happened and Eris had a right to hate her father just as she had a right to her own for what he did to her.
"Akeno," Vandill suddenly said, "I don't know what happened to cause you to hate Fallen Angels but I will tell you it's not an issue to me. I will not bring up your past and it is not my problem to solve. It's up to others to help you confront the past. If you think wishing for the past to be different will give you comfort, it will not. Better to look to the future. As we should now."
Akeno could find no reply to the Giant's words, there was wisdom in what he said and, seeing as he would not talk about her past which she was thankful for, let the dark thoughts fade away to the back of her mind. Despite the opinions on what the others will think, Vandill was right in saying she should look to the future, they stopped Kokabiel from starting a war, Vandill joined the Peerage and still needed help adjusting to his new life, and a peace summit between the Three Great Factions hosted by Asgard was being planned. The future was indeed needing to be looked at, the past would stay in the past…for now.
"Come, Akeno Himejima, enough of this gloom. You may be my equal as a student at Kuoh Academy but you are my senior as a Devil. Tell me what life as a Devil is like and what the Rook piece does?"
The change in topic plus the excitement in Vandill's tone lifted Akeno's spirit leading to her explaining how the Underworld's society works, the strength and weakness of each Evil Piece, how to become a higher class, and ensuring the town is safe from harm. As soon as she finished Kuoh Academy was in sight, the gates wide open and early morning students were already occupying the campus. When the Giant was enrolled in the Academy his cover story as a human was that he came from Norway participating in an exchange student program and that he wished to explore more of Japan, this had everyone excited to meet him, especially the girls who all tried to get his attention in various ways such as waving, batting their eyelashes, or talking in earshot for him to hear they were calling him tall, strong, and handsome.
"Do all the girls at this school act like this?" The Jotun asked Rias after the first day at the school.
"It depends on how attractive you look to them." Answered the Gremory Heiress with a cheeky smile which Vandill replied with a laugh.
Vandill was interested in girls but none had caught his eye yet and these human girls were a definite no for him, not just because they lived short lives but they only wanted him for his looks. He wanted a woman with a strong warrior spirit and would like him as he is, he told Thor once if he had a chance to date Rossweisse he would take it but he blew that chance and now the Valkyrie was growing closer to the God of Thunder. Hopefully, by the time he sees his best friend again, those two would be a couple.
"Vandill is walking with Lady Akeno again!" Exclaimed a girl with short pink hair.
"He's been seen with Lady Rias and Kiba as well!" Another said.
"His popularity is going to skyrocket by being around them!"
"I also hear he's been seen talking to that pervert Hyoudou!"
"That pervert better not corrupt that handsome giant!"
These girls can be so obnoxious. The Giant thought as he entered the school, he bid farewell to Akeno and marched off to his class. Due to being eighteen years of age he was enrolled in the Academy as a third-year but joining midway through the school semester meant he would have to catch up on everything during summer vacation which was to begin tomorrow. Vandill didn't mind one bit, he preferred to have a successful school life than waste it away lounging by a pool.
He spent the day listening to lectures, answering questions, and studying homework until the last bell for school rang signaling the start of summer vacation and the many students chatting about what they would do.
"Can't wait to see my relatives in Tsushima!"
"I'm looking forward to catching some waves!"
"And girls! Hahaha!"
"I sure hope Vandill will be at the beach to notice my new swimsuit."
Ignoring the comments Vandill made his way out of the class, the crowd parted to let him through for respect and fear of being knocked over. As he descended the steps he caught sight of red from the corner of his eye, approaching him with her ever-so-loyal Queen in tow was his master and more importantly his savior. She must be wanting to gather the Peerage to discuss plans for summer he thought.
"Hello, Rias!" Vandill greeted her with his usual broad smile, he dare not address her as master with so many people around such an act would cause questions and rumors spread, "Feel ready for summer vacation?"
"Of course I am. However, there is an important matter I wish to talk with you about."
Twenty minutes later the new Rook of the Gremory Peerage was in the Old School building which Rias used as her base under the cover of being an Occult Research Club. Vandill stood before Rias who sat comfortably at her desk with Akeno beside her, whatever this topic was about he hoped it wouldn't lead to any complications.
"So…" Started Rias with a long stare at the Jotun, "Akeno told me what happened this morning."
"Master I-"
"Please let me finish." Rias interrupted calmly, "You know she is part Fallen Angel. As do I. In the battle you learned she was part Fallen Angel…like Eris…" Akeno shifted beside her, "and today you tell her you don't care about that side of her and will not speak about it. Is that all true?"
"Of course it is, master. I told her and I will tell you I do not care if she is like Eris, that she is part Fallen Angel. I don't know what happened in the past but I will not ask about it but I know that by joining you she has cast aside her Fallen Angel blood and-"
"No…" Whispered Akeno, face downcast at having the topic brought up again, "It's still-"
"Wait a minute." The Giant suddenly said, "I told you we wouldn't talk about it. So let us not talk about it."
"I see you are keeping true to your word on not talking about it." Said Rias with a firm nod, "Very well. We will never speak of this again unless it wishes to be spoken of. I only wanted to know if you lied about it. You did not. Thank you for accepting Akeno for who she is."
"For who she is?" Repeated the Jotun, "She is Akeno Himejima, your Queen, best friend, second in command to the Peerage, and a fine tea brewer."
If either of them were looking they would have seen a tear roll down Akeno's face, Vandill truly did care about her.
Rias smiled, "Still I thank you for your honesty, Vandill Aurvandillsson. Now let's talk about you, my newest servant. Why did your father name you after the second part of his own name?"
"Because Vandill is a common name in the Norse world. It's old Norse meaning sword. Father said I should use a sword but I prefer a hammer to commemorate my idol, Thor Odinson."
"The God of Thunder is your hero?" Asked Akeno after drying her tears and regaining her composure through quiet breaths.
"Absolutely! Father always told me stories about the Prince of Asgard. The one where he helped my father escape from Jotunheim is my favorite. The deeds he performed are legendary and I hope someday to commit deeds as legendary as his."
"Like defeating a Fallen Angel leader?"
Vandill grinned, "Akeno, Kokabiel was strong but what I meant by his deeds are like his noble sacrifice to slay Surtr or managing to fish the World Serpent out of the ocean."
"Those are ambitious goals and I hope you achieve them but for now you are my servant and I want you to prove to me that you are a Rook of the Gremory Family." Said Rias
"I thought I did that already?"
The pureblood shook her head, "This is not Asgard, Vandill. Battles alone cannot prove your worth in the Devil society."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Akeno said, "There are the Rating Games and I know Vandill will be a vital player when we have a real match."
This piqued the Rook's curiosity prompting the Gremory heiress to explain what Rating Games are, what happened in their very first one, and why it happened. By the time she was finished, Vandill's expression was unreadable leaving them to ponder what he was thinking. At last, he spoke.
"So this whole thing was about a marriage pact? It sounds to me like your parents and this Riser Phenex were thinking about the greater good of pureblood society. Yet I do understand your desire to choose whoever you wish to marry. I'd have to agree with both of you. If I was in Riser's position, born and raised knowing the Pureblood Devil population has drastically lowered from the wars then I too would want to ensure the survival of the Purebloods to keep names and legacies alive. However, being forced to marry someone you may have a strained marriage with would make you feel your life is being controlled by others and nobody wants to live a life like that. The freedom to do whatever you want leads people to question your actions but those actions are yours to worry about, not others."
Rias and Akeno exchanged looks at the Jotun's opinions of both sides, they never thought to look at it from Riser's point of view. Riser said the marriage between the Gremory and Phenex family would help the survival of the Pureblood Devil but Rias only thought about herself, about her desire to do whatever she wanted and get what she wanted, her freedom from marrying a man she didn't like. Sure her parents were disappointed the marriage was canceled but Issei won fair and square and she was able to choose who she wanted and after that duel she wanted Issei. Issei, her Knight- no - her dragon, her adorable perverted dragon had come to save her, the princess, from the Knight and he had won. When she first met the boy he was just a silly pervert with a desire to have a harem yet that changed the more she knew him, beneath his perverted tendency was a kind pure-hearted boy who had his life as a human snuffed out by a Fallen Angel she killed for using Issei and toying with his emotions. His kindness had her grow to care for him and bloom in affections after saving her from marrying Riser.
And speaking of Issei she said he could suck her nipples but hadn't been done yet. Honestly, she'd rather wait once the peace summit was over. Right now she had to focus on her duty as heiress and teach her newest servant.
"So what do you think of your clients?" Rias asked, she wanted to know more of what he thought about life as a Devil.
"An interesting bunch if I do say so myself." The Rook answered, that his first job was helping construction workers with carrying things and another asked to join him in a podcast about Norse Mythology and afterward share the truth behind the Norse stories. Neither were disappointed in his performance and hopefully the next will feel the same.
"I'll take that as a positive experience for you. This is good because I have another client here who will be summoning you tomorrow."
"Not today?"
"Even Devils must reschedule for our clients. I was told two Stray Devils were on the borders of Kuoh. If they enter we must exterminate them."
"Oh." Said Vandill, "Akeno told me those are Devils who betray their master."
"A problem I hope will never come to pass for us."
Vandill smiled at his master, "Why would I betray the woman who gave me a second chance? If it was for you I wouldn't be able to see Thor and my father?"
Akeno smiled, "That's very kind of you to say. But you say just Thor and your father. What about your mother?"
"She left father after giving birth to me. She said she didn't want to have a child."
Akeno felt regret swell in her heart, abandoning a newborn child and father was a decision worse than a reincarnated Devil murdering their master. She desires to say sorry but Vandill waved away the condolences saying it was fine and wasn't worth dwelling on. He was doing what he told her; looking to the future and not worrying about the past.
"So…" Vandill paused thinking of what else to talk about, "Is Kiba alright? I mean he went through a lot with the Holy Sword fiasco."
"Kiba is fine. He's back to his old self. In fact, he seems better than before. His burden is lifted and he will continue to serve the Gremory family." But then a frown formed on the heiress's face, "However, when I spoke to him after the battle Kiba said he considers himself a weapon. He is not a weapon. He is my Knight."
"He's more than your Knight, Master Rias. He is a man and he should see himself as such. He did not avenge his comrades to see himself as a weapon to be used by you. His past is similar to Lord Thor's but the Prince of Asgard does not consider himself a weapon. He sees himself as a God, as the Son of Odin, the Prince of Asgard, and most importantly a good friend to all he forms bonds with. That is what your Knight must do. He needs to look at himself as more than just a weapon and your Knight. He needs to be a man and since you are his master you should talk to him about this."
"Vandill-"
"I am not ordering you to do this but mere advising. If you wish to be a good king you must take the advice of your subordinates. How do you think the Allfather became a good king to Asgard? He took the advice of others I suggest you do the same."
Rias was speechless, Issei and Akeno talked back at her when the Fallen Angels were causing trouble but she was never advised on what choice to make. She wanted to do things her own way to not let others dictate her choices and here comes her newest servant giving wisdom that wasn't there before. This wisdom, however, was true, she didn't want Kiba to see himself as a weapon to be used by her, she wanted him as her Knight but even a Knight can be used as a weapon to do good or evil acts. Vandill Aurvandillson was right, she needed to talk to Kiba and tell him he needs to be not just a weapon but a Knight of the Gremory family as well as a man. A man who can form strong bonds with his comrades, protect the innocent, and fall in love.
"I will tell him. Thank you for the wise words, Vandill. You may go now." When the Giant left the Gremory heiress turned to her best friend, "I never expected to hear such wisdom from one so young."
"His father must have taught him well. I whole heartfully agree with Vandill, his advice about Kiba will help open his eyes. You, however, need to be the one to tell him this you are after all his King."
"That is true." Rias said feeling the corner of her lips curl into a smile, "Vandill Aurvandillson, he has given us both wisdom that neither of us received before. I recall the Norse people talking about the Norms weaving Fates. Perhaps his fate was woven to interact with ours. To advice his King and Queen."
"Speaking of fate, is Issei fated to suck your nipples?"
"Akeno!?"
Meanwhile
Issei sighed, he had just finished telling Matsuda and Motohama he was going out of town to visit family for the summer which of course was a lie to not arouse suspicion of his activities as a Devil, Rias told him he was going to double down on clients, training, and, most importantly, helping Vandill learn about Japan and its culture. The Jotun from Asgard may be playing the part of an exchange student from Norway but he still should get to know more about his new home country. The possessor of the Boosted Gear wasn't surprised to see neither were happy and, thanks to his super hearing as a Devil, caught them muttering about Issei lying about a family vacation to be with Rias and the other girls and saying he was a traitor to keep them for himself prompting Issei to snort indignantly. Those two were idiots to call him a traitor that when they're the ones spreading false rumors about himself around the school, friends don't go behind each other's back but he was going behind their backs right now by not telling them he was a Devil. He wanted to tell them he was a Devil but knew it would lead to the whole world learning about the Supernatural world and betraying Rias and the others, also they either wouldn't believe him or run away in fear and jealousy that he had a harem of beautiful women.
…a harem of beautiful women…
Glee washed over his face at that moment, Rias, Akeno, and Asia appeared in his mind, stark naked, cooing his name, suggesting he touch their breasts before two more appeared wearing white and emerald armor, the Valkyries Sigrun and Rossweisse, the violet haired one grinning and egging Issei on to dress break their armor. He raised his hand but froze as a voice echoed in his mind before being drowned out by another.
Will you- if you ever use that disgusting dress break move on Rossweisse or my mother I will make you feel Kokabiel's beating!"
Thor's words echoed in his mind as each female was snuffed out by a flash of lightning and the roar of thunder. Those words had been etched in his very soul, oh how he wanted to dress break the Valkyries but such a goal would be met by Son of Odin's fury. The same fury he unleashed upon Kokabiel for hurting the silver-haired woman.
Have a care partner. listen to the God of Thunder's words less you wish to end up like that Fallen Angel. He is among the Top Ten, beings with power that can destroy the world. Or at least will be…
What do you mean?
Did you forget what was said about Thor already? The original died and this is a new Thor. He doesn't have the power yet but eventually will. So I say again, do not think about those warrior maidens of Asgard unless you wish to feel his wrath.
The power to destroy the world? Maybe it was best not to think about the Valkyries or even that big boobed blonde with muscles that can break his bones. Suddenly he was brought from his thoughts as he felt something large connect with his shoulder that soon was revealed as Vandill's hand, the man from the north was smiling down at him his Kuoh uniform looked as if it would burst by just flexing his muscles.
The Jotun greeted, "So…care to give me a tour around Kuoh?"
It wasn't long before the Dragon was in the mail showing the Jotun the stores and trying his utmost best to not go into the women's clothing store. This was a tour of Vandill's new home; he'd show him the wonders of women's lingerie another time. During lunch, they stopped at a burger joint where the two boys fell into conversation about not just Japan and its culture but Norway as well, to Issei's own surprise he was finding himself fascinated learning about Scandinavia.
"You should see the winter festival. The Aurora Borealis is beautiful to look at and the food is the best in all the Nin-Scandinavia." The Jotun quickly corrected himself.
"And what about the women?"
Vandill rolled his eyes followed by a snort, "Of course, you'd ask about the women. I've met plenty of perverts but you are without doubt the biggest pervert I've ever met. Maybe instead ask about our people. I've heard the Japanese are strict when it comes to duty and honor."
Issei sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, he knew the people of Japan took duty and honor seriously but not all were like that. His parents weren't honor-bound to perform tasks perfectly; they were simple folk living simple lives. Why did Rias make him help Vandill instead of Kiba? Issei was Japanese but didn't delve much into his own people's culture, what he knew best was the shape of women's breasts. If only the Gaint would ask about those he could go on and on about why breasts are the best thing in the world.
Once they finished lunch they continued the tour around town, while Issei was showing him a tiny park where children played he noticed the Jotun was looking at something else. Following his gaze, the Pawn froze when he saw Vandill was looking upon the abandoned church, the same church where Asia became a Devil… and where she died. Issei shook his head, he couldn't think about that night anymore, Asia was saved, and…and… they won.
"Why is a church in this town?' Vandil asked the subtle question of what the Church was previously doing here.
"I honestly don't remember. All I know is that it became abandoned after Irina moved away."
Vandill moved Issei away from the park to ensure no eavesdroppers would overhear them as he asked in a whisper, "Do you think the Church previously owned this town before the Devils took it over?"
"I don't think so. President always said this town was under the control of the Underworld. I mean Irina is an Exorcist so maybe her family was trying to undermine the president or whoever was ruling this town before it came under her rule."
"Perhaps…" Vandill muttered, "Well maybe she can tell us. Let's finish this tour and prepare ourselves tomorrow night. Master Rias was informed about two Strays on the outskirts of Kuoh."
Just then the sound of sirens could be heard and soon an ambulance and fire truck came rushing by before disappearing around a corner, Issei was about to question what that was about when he felt himself get dragged by the Giant who gave chase after the emergency vehicles. Hopefully, this was a simple incident and not something related to those Strays he mentioned. Ten minutes later he found himself and Vandill among a crowd of onlookers who Vandill managed to push through thanks to his size to the front and stumbled upon the scene and it made Issei queasy.
Laying spread eagle on the ground was a young man with half his face torn off, his left leg missing and a huge chunk of his stomach ripped open with his guts laying all about. Issei felt himself sway at the gruesome site before Vandill steady him with his hand and motioned with his head to look to the left. Within the crowd, the Red Dragon Emperor spotted someone trying to slip away unnoticed, the stranger looked back revealing it to be a woman who, upon locking eyes with Issei, turned and began to move faster.
"Stop that woman!" Vandill shouted giving chase after her while knocking several people over which Issei apologized for.
Issei saw the woman sprint faster away from them, clearly, she had something to do with this murder and had hoped to not be spotted, a mistake she failed fantastically at. He followed Vandill down an alleyway and saw the strange woman jump through a teleportation circle and disappear. He heard Vandill mutter some curses before fishing out his phone and calling someone.
"Akeno, we have a problem. Issei and I chased a woman who attacked a human before she escaped via a teleportation spell. Yes… no, I didn't get a good look at her face. Black-haired, mismatched eyes, one gold one red. Yes…yeah, I'll pass on the news." He pocketed the phone with a sigh, "Well, Issei. It looks like we're going to hunt some Strays."
Later that day
When Rias heard the last of Vandill and Issei's account of chasing the Stray the Devil heiress declared the search will begin now. This Stray had been daring enough to kill a human in broad daylight, if it was to attack a larger crowd then he or she could reveal the Supernatural World and nobody wanted that to happen. After ordering the use of familiars to aid in the search Rias said they each should be paired in two groups; Koneko and Issei, Asia and Kiba, Akeno, herself, and Vandill.
"Thor tells me you're an expert at hunting. Care to use them to hunt Stray Devils?" Rias asked the Jotun.
Twenty minutes later she was following Vandill through the downtown district, her newest servant looking everywhere and pausing for a moment before leading them in one direction and then another. Was she sure he knew where they were or just guessing? His hunting skills were used to stop rogue Fallen Angels and save her cousin but this was different, the Stray Devil had used magic to escape leaving no trace of herself behind to track. Suddenly he stopped and motioned for her and Akeno to look towards the mall entrance, standing six feet from it was the woman he described; black hair and mismatched red and gold eyes, they had found one of the Strays.
"How did you know she'd be here?" Akeno asked in a whisper.
"I had a feeling she wouldn't travel far for fresh meat. This looks like the perfect stop to attack another human." Vandill replied, "So how do you wanna do this?"
"We wait and follow."
It didn't take long to wait, the Stray had caught the eye of a young boy and was leading him away to an alleyway. The Devils made haste to follow her and intercept her before the human was harmed. Eventually, they were far enough from humans for Rias to make her presence known.
"Olivia! In the name of the Gremory family, you will be eliminated!"
The Stray named Olivia spun on her heels, surprised she was followed. The human was looking bewildered at who these teenagers were and before he could ask any questions Stella sunk her teeth into his neck moaning with satisfaction at the taste of flesh and blood. This human won't be her last meal; these children will be next.
"Akeno, give me some thunder. Please."
Curious to see what the Jotun would do, Akeno coated the hammer in thunder and then watched it go flying towards Oliva with so much strength it obliterated the Stray's barriers and smash into her face with a thunderous boom that would surely have caught the attention of the entire town had Akeno not cast a barrier within the alleyway to prevent Oliva from escaping. The Priestess of Thunder would have laughed at the pain the Stray was in but the newest Rook of the Gremory Peerage rushed Olivia, stunned from the attack and paralyzed by the thunder she could do nothing to defend against the Jotun's attack. Akeno was told the Norse Faction were brutal in combat and witnessed it during the battle against Kokabiel and again right now with Vandill, and it always made her S&M side tingle with excitement. Vandill ended the attack by snapping Olivia's neck, the action Akeno noticed caused Rias to grimace at the brutal finish. Both were accustomed to violent deaths but eradicating them into nothing with magic was much quicker and cleaner.
"A little brutal but this takes care of one Stray." The redhead said while disposing of Olivia and her human prey's corpse with her Power of Destruction to leave no evidence.
"What will happen now? These attacks can't be covered up so easily, can't they? I mean who knows how many humans were killed by these Strays."
"Too many it sounds like." Rias said with a shake of her head, "I'll tell Sona to modify the information on the deaths. As for us, we have one more Stray to handle. So, my newest servant, care to lead the way?"
