Kyrgyzstan
A kick hit a ball. Running after it, some children tried to catch it and keep it. Thus, a normal afternoon passed for the children of a small orphanage. Playing with each other, they tried to forget the fact that they had almost nothing left. No family, no material possessions, no glorious future... all they had were other children who were like them. However, between the ages of five and eight, this was enough for them. Having still long years of waiting before joining the adult world, they took advantage of the years that separated them from this world and its problems.
Suddenly, kicking the ball too hard, a boy sent the ball away from them and the object began to roll, until the foot of a young woman landed on it to stop it. Running to collect their property, the children stopped, seeing the white-haired young woman facing them.
"Hi." Galadriel greeted them.
Immediately, wide smiles appeared on the faces of the six children facing her, and a moment later, the Empress of Nazarick was mobbed by the children.
" Onee-san ! "
"Onee-san, are you here to play with us?"
"Onee-san! Are you staying with us?"
" Onee-san ! Onee-san !"
"Hey, calm down." Galadriel begged, seeing them surround her like a bunch of little demons. "Don't worry! I came to play with you."
Hearing this, the children's smiles widened as they seemed delighted with the news. For her part, starting to juggle the ball, Galadriel ends up shooting it, and the object goes in the direction of the orphanage. Following it with their eyes, the troop of children began to followit, giving Galadriel a little respite.
"Worse than demons."
Yet, strangely, Galadriel put a smile on her face. She didn't know why she was there. Or rather, she didn't know why she came back here, every time she felt her demonic side take advantage of the little humanity that remained in her.
She had found this place by chance. When she first visited, the building in front of her wasn't even an orphanage. It was just an almost dilapidated building, where the six children were trying to survive as best they could.
Even being simple children, they knew exactly what poverty, abandonment, lack of affection were... and had paid the price. Having been forced to live on their own, they had taken refuge here and had lived there for some time before Galadriel met them.
Having traveled around the world to find out if the countries of this world were like hers, Galadriel had come across this place by chance and, quickly, she had faced her children who had considered it a threat. One of them had threatened him with his Quirk, which could not be controlled, while the others had taken refuge behind him, holding gregarious weapons, which could not have frightened a mouse.
Lucky, at that time, that Galadriel was accompanied by CZ. Having been instructed to attack if she felt any danger towards Galadriel, she stood still, and asked Galadriel what to do.
For her part, much to the children's surprise, Galadriel couldn't help but laugh. Then, finally, she sat cross-legged in front of them, before asking them.
" Are you happy ? "
Galadriel knew perfectly well not. Looking into their eyes, the Empress had recognized their gaze. It was the same one displayed by the children, who lived on the streets, in her home world. These children survived, while feeling abandoned and condemned.
Galadirel knew that she no longer had the same emotions as when she was human. She knew that her demonic side had almost wiped out her humanistic side. However, she had managed to feel something, seeing these children. She felt real pity for them.
As a result, making a magic circle appear on the ground, Galadriel surprised the children, as they saw the magic circle being replaced with food.
" It's for you. "
The children looked at Galadriel. Then they looked at the food. But they did not move and even less touched the food. Even if they were children, the poverty in which they were born had allowed them to understand that there were people who were not very attentive who favored targets like them. Children alone, helpless, whose disappearance would not be seen or reported by anyone.
Because of this, Galdariel got up before walking away with CZ. Settling on top of a hill, Galadriel could see the children and vice versa. She didn't care that they could see her, she was just waiting to see their reaction. She had remained in her place the rest of the day, and even at night.
The children didn't touch the food. And knowing that Galdriel was observing them, they remained hidden in their lair. However, the dilapidated building only allowed them to go inside and stay in the small entrance hall. The rest of the house had collapsed, preventing them from venturing elsewhere. Because of this, Galadriel had no trouble seeing them, while the building had no doors.
There were six children. Three boys and three girls. All between five and eight years old. And among them, a boy with a scar on his cheek and a girl with freckles seemed to act as the leaders of the group. Being the oldest, they remained in front of the building, and seemed to stand guard, in case Galadriel came back to them.
Staying behind his Empress, CZ asked.
"Why don't they touch the food you gave them?"
"Because they're smart." Galadriel affirmed. "They need it to live, but they know something a lot of people don't."
" What is that ? "
"They know the existence of human cruelty."
Trying to figure out what that means, the Pleiad asked her.
"And you? Why are you helping them?"
Galadriel remained silent for several seconds. To tell the truth, she didn't really have an answer. She felt like saying that she just wanted to act nice because it was her duty. But she knew perfectly well that was not the real reason. Thinking back to her own life, as a human, she finally said.
"When I was a kid...I wish someone had saved me."
Finally, at dawn, the two leaders of the group approached the food, before grabbing a piece of fruit. Cutting it in half and eating it, they then returned inside the dwelling. Galadriel found that they only had this to make sure the food wasn't drugged or poisoned.
Waiting a few more hours, she then saw the two children return to the food, accompanied by the four others. Then everyone started eating. They had no trust in Galadriel but, hunger was stronger than their will. Even before Galadriel's arrival, they hadn't been able to find food for a few days.
And seeing a feast like this didn't help. Seeing them eat, Galadriel still remained motionless. Then she decided to get up and walk towards them. Busy eating, the children didn't feel her presence, until they heard.
" Is it good ? "
Jumping with fear, they couldn't hide their surprise, seeing her, sitting at their side, as if she had teleported. Immediately, they began to flee into their home. Unfortunately, tripping over a rock, a little girl fell to the ground and felt her knee hit the hard floor of the area. Immediately, feeling her knee scrape, she began to sob.
But it ended quickly when Galadriel approached her, and put her finger on her small wound. Making a green glow appear, she surprised the child, who had seen her bleeding disappear as quickly as it had appeared.
" That ... ? "
"Are you okay?" Galadriel asked, giving her a tender smile.
Just looking at her, the girl didn't know what to answer. Noting this, Galadriel positioned her hands in front of her face. Then, closing them, she reopened them in a split second and, like a magician, she made a stuffed animal resembling a white rabbit appear.
"It's for you.." Galadriel announced, entrusting the stuffed animal to the young child.
Arriving behind Galadriel, CZ remained motionless, while the other five children finally emerged from their hiding place, ready to attack Galadriel to recover their comrade. However, the little girl was the one who surprised Galadriel. Slowly moving her hands, she finally took the stuffed animal. Then, looking at her, she felt tears running down her cheeks. And, a moment later, Galadriel had felt her bury her face against her abdomen, before starting to cry.
at that moment, Galadriel hadn't understood that she was the first adult to have shown affection to this child and she had a hard time knowing how to react. Then, remembering the memories she had of her mother, she ended up putting her hand on her hair, and whispering sweet and reassuring words to her. Seeing her do so, the others looked at each other, before moving closer to Galadriel, while letting their weapons fall to the ground.
Some time later, the dilapidated building seemed to have undergone a real makeover, tending that it was in excellent condition and even completely improved. As for the children who lived there, they had developed an unbounded admiration for Galadriel. For them, who were looking for a way to survive, she had become their heroine.
Coming back to her, the children had brought back their toys, before asking.
"Onee-san, we're playing with this."
"No, with that."
" Onee-san. "
Having to struggle again in front of this gang of unleashed children, Galadriel felt a small hand gripping the back of her t-shirt. Turning around, she saw a young girl, with a stuffed rabbit, handing her a book.
"Onee-san...read us a story, please?"
Looking at the young girl, Galadriel ends up smiling at her, before grabbing her book.
"If you want, Natasha."
Then, she walked to a place where several stools formed a circle and sat down on the middle one. Immediately, Natasha followed her and, finally dropping their toys, the other children followed them.
Settling around Galadriel, they saw her open the book, before starting to read it.
Snoring loudly, a trickle of drool ran down Zoro's chin, while his duvet was half-fallen on the floor. Suddenly making a strange noise with his mouth, he grimaced before scratching his chest. Then his snoring became loud again.
Seeming defenseless like this, while Chopper wasn't there to watch him, Zoro was unable to see an invisible figure, which was hanging from the ceiling, just above him. Having a humanoid appearance and dressed like a ninja, the enemy dropped from the ceiling, and aimed a dagger at Zoro's throat.
However, despite the surprise effect, the weapon stopped two centimeters from Zoro's carotid artery. Stretching out his arm, the swordsman had managed to grab the ninja's face and stop his fall.
" What ? "
"Who are you?" Zoro roared.
Suddenly, hearing strange hissing, he threw the ninja away, before crossing his arms in front of him, while three shurikens had targeted his face, and managed to pierce the skin of his arm. Growling, he saw the ninja do an aerial somersault, before landing at the other end of the room, while two other perfectly identical ninjas appeared.
"Not bad at all! You're the first human we Hanzos failed to kill on the first try."
"Hanzos?" Zoro repeated.
" All For One... " He thought. "He must have hired those clowns to kill us."
Conjuring up numerous daggers between their fingers, the Nazarick ninjas ran towards Zoro, while declaring.
"We're going to take advantage of your weaknesses to kill you! Without your swords, you're nothing."
Yet, despite being unarmed and all alone, Zoro simply stood up on his bed, before bending his legs, and positioning his arms behind him.
" NO SWORD STYLE ! "
" SAYONARA, HUMAN !"
" TATSUMAKI ! "
The Hanzos barely had time to see Zoro move his arms, before being struck by a current of air, which took on the appearance of a tornado.
" What ? "
Thrown sideways, the trio cried out in panic as they flew through the window, before finding themselves in the void, several dozen meters above the ground. Hearing them fall, Zoro began to growl as he pulled out the shurikens still stuck in his skin.
"I hate being woken up...especially when someone wakes me up for nothing."
Then, yawning, he fell on his bed and decided to finish his nap.
Closing the book, Galadriel asked.
"Did you like it?"
Immediately, after hearing the story which told the adventures of a knight of a princess, several of the children pretended to fight, with pieces of wood.
"I too want to become a knight and have adventures."
On the contrary, a girl with freckles retorted.
"Why is it always up to the knight to save the princess? Girls know how to fight too."
"You don't even have a Quirk." The boy retorted.
"Yours is useless."
" Not even true. "
Seeing the two children arguing, Galadriel decided to side with one of them.
"Ali…Maraka is right." She affirmed, placing her hand on the girl's head. "A woman today is perfectly capable of fighting a man."
"Even without Quirk?" the boy asked.
"Yes! I even know a lot of women who don't have a Quirk who can defeat entire armies."
"Really ? "
For her part, clutching her rabbit against her, Natacha declared.
"I want to visit a real castle."
"No, the best thing is to visit an alien ship." A boy asserted.
"I would rather see the ocean."
Hearing the children begin to share their dreams, Galadriel suddenly had an idea that might appeal to them.
"Do you want to take a trip?"
" Huh ? "
Suddenly, using her finger to write a message on a stool, Galadriel straightened up, before facing the children.
"We're going to have an adventure."
"An adventure?" Six voices repeated.
Suddenly, a magic circle appeared in Galadriel's hand and she directed it towards the children. Immediately, they were all startled, feeling their bodies become incredibly light.
"What...?" Ali wondered, feeling his feet leave the ground.
" I fly. "
Having fun floating them above the ground, Galadriel imitated them, before creating a huge sphere around them. Having gathered them all around her, Galadriel let the sphere fly higher and higher, allowing the children to have an incredible view of the landscape.
" TOO COOL ! "
"It's like being in a balloon."
Smiling, Galadriel retorted.
"No, it's much better! From now on, I've become Koro-sensei."
Then, suddenly, the sphere moved at full speed. Surprised, the children began to scream. Yet they felt nothing at all, not even a gust of wind. Protecting them perfectly, the magic sphere allowed Galadriel to be able to move much faster than an airplane, without being crushed by atmospheric air currents.
At first surprised, we had to wait a few minutes, before the children began to smile, before enjoying the trip.
" YOHOOOO ! "
"Faster! Faster!"
" It's so great. "
Extending her smile, Galadriel amused herself by doing acrobatic pirouettes, making the children laugh even more. Nevertheless, she ends up stopping, seeing a plane appear not far from them. Using an invisibility spell, she let the flying craft pass by them, without any of its passengers being able to see them.
On the contrary, huddled against the wall of the magic sphere, the children admired the plane, which was only a few meters away from them.
Leaving them to watch, Galadriel then ends up resuming her journey. And a quarter of an hour later, they reached their destination. Looking around, the children saw many islands, mostly covered with forests or beaches, while the sea separated them.
"It's the first time I've seen an island."
" There are so many. "
"You can even see the sea."
"Onee-san, where are we?"
"If I'm not mistaken, we are above Indonesia."
"Indo...azia?" Maraka tried to repeat.
In response, Galadriel stopped her magic sphere, which then began to fall.
"Hold on and most importantly, hold your breath."
" WHAT ? "
And before the children could react, the magic sphere fell in the direction of the sea and disappeared under the water. Surprised, they closed their eyes and their mouths, by reflex. However, remaining motionless for several seconds, they were surprised not to feel the slightest drop of water touching them.
Being always present, the magic sphere prevented them from drowning and allowed them to attend an incredible scene.
" Unbelievable. "
" It is so beautiful. "
Looking around with sparkling eyes, Natasha felt Galadriel's arms grab her and bring her to her lap, while the Empress sat cross-legged.
"So, Natasha? Which is better? That or visiting a castle?"
"That." Natasha assured, without the slightest hesitation.
Swimming around the magic sphere, whole shoals of multicolored fish were visible, as were huge manta rays. This kind of show, many people had never had the chance to see it. But for children like them, this scene was, for them, a dream that they would never have had the chance to see, if they had not crossed paths with Galadriel.
For her part, Galadriel was also watching this aquatic spectacle, with eyes similar to theirs. She, too, had thought for years that she wouldn't be able to see this show. This show that had been totally destroyed, in his world, because of human stupidity.
And despite her smile, a hint of frustration could be seen in her eyes, as she swore to herself that she would never let this world make the same mistakes as hers.
Nazarick, sixth floor.
being in the arena of Nazarick, Aura was armed with her whip, while she declared.
"Copall, I'm ready."
Immediately, the slime in front of her began to move, before transforming. Trying to keep calm, Aura saw it take on a humanoid form. Then, she had no trouble recognizing Zoro's silhouette.
In an instant, a surge of rage surged through her, as she gripped her whip tighter in her hand.
"MOSSHEAD!" She roared, rushing towards it.
She moved swiftly and quietly. She was so fast she could have surprised any human. Wanting to do the same, she found herself in front of Copall, before the slime could react.
Unfortunately, meeting the slime's gaze, Aura froze. Staring at the fake Zoro's eyes, Aura had completely stilled, while her body began to shake in terror. It had been three days since USJ's accident took place and yet the terror that Zoro had caused in her had by no means disappeared.
Zoro had completely terrified her.
"Why?" She wondered, dropping to her knees. " Why ? "
Gritting her teeth and pounding the ground with her fists, she screamed.
"He's only human! So why am I afraid of him! Why? Why?"
Being behind her, Mare cautiously approached her.
" Onee-san ? "
He got no response.
"Onee-san?" he insisted, putting his hand on Aura's shoulder.
"LEAVE ME." She suddenly roared.
Surprised, Mare stepped back, before seeing her get up, and run away, to disappear into the forest.
