As the week past gwen was starting to adjust to living with the watsons AND being next door to Peter and his spidery secret, she still wasn't sure if she could move forward or not with him after what's happened. 'what is up with him lately? Me finding out aside something is wrong with him' gwen thought when getting ready to make dinner for her new roommates but just as she was reaching for the cabinet to get plates the firey red head stopped her. "Gwen come on relax girl you're not a guest here, you don't have to cook for us"
At the same time next door harry called our hero freaking out in the process "Peter! I think my DAD is the goblin!" "Harry WHAT MAKES YOU SAY THAT?" "Dude I know you told me not to but I've been digging into the glider project AND I found goblin supplies in my house. It's him pete!" 'COME ON HARRY HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TELL YOU TO STAY OUT OF IT!' the parker boy thought before voicing his concern to the rich heir. "Harry you need to STOP ok? You do not have powers like Spider-man, you're just a rich guy that doesn't know what to do with his life so he plays at being a sidekick!" But before harry could react to his super powered friends angry rant his dad norman could be heard yelling "DON'T LET REECHIE IN THE HOUSE!" Before Peter just hangs up his phone and goes swinging in his slick black suit.
When swinging around the city he was caught in a very heated mental battle 'what does harry think he's doing?! Just because we have powers he expects us to save him whenever he puts himself in deep shit!? Well guess what pal. We're not your personal clean up crew to fix all your mistakes! If you get screwed you deal with it, after all those times you tried to split gwen and us up! Like we really couldn't tell not that gwen remembers how to not be a bitch anymore I mean we've saved her how many times and she treats us like a criminal! Not even her mom dying can change anything! Whoa! Why….? How..? How could I ever think such a thing?! Jean was right! This suit is doing something to me' but before he could continue his train of thought he swung right into a balding, beady eyed, ferret man known by many as murr.
While both standing up in central park after the collision the dark shining hero can't keep his ever growing anger in check "murr. James s murray, you are by far my least favorite joker! You're pompous, arrogant, self centered I mean the other three know everything about you but you don't know jack shit about them!" The ferret is nothing more than shell shocked as he stands staring at the hero as he is insulted. "Wow Spider-man you're making me sound like such a dick!" "YOU ARE A DICK MURR! YOU'RE THE KIND OF DICK THAT WOULD ATTACK A FAN FOR GOING UP TO YOU RIGHT WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO EAT DESSERT! YOU'RE THE KIND OF DICK THAT WOULD SHIPWRECK AN ENTIRE CRUISE SHIP JUST TO RESCUE YOUR BLANKY! YOU ARE A DICK YOU GOD DAMN FERRET!" Spidey shouted at the TV star getting right in his face before angrily swinging away.
In the watson house in queens an aging and slightly overweight woman with reddish brown hair is placing dishes both full of breakfast food and empty on the table in front of her as she addresses the young blonde girl that has been through a lot. "I know it's hard deary but just try to get through things one moment at a time. No matter what you have a home here with us." Honestly Gwens' mental state was a complete whirlwind what with her mother's sudden death, finding out the truth about Peter, trying to figure out why he's suddenly acting like the hulk or something, her father still in prison but now might actually get out thanks to Peter and her adjustment to living with what has become one of her closest friends.
On his way swinging to school he will pass the connors home and before the wall crawler can lose control again he decides to have connors test the new suit to see what's going on. 'not like he has anything else to do now but drink and besides we saved him from having to eat raw meat and shed scales the rest of his life. HE DEFINITELY OWES US MORE THAN A FEW!' whoa there it is again! Almost like I'm thinking someone else's thoughts…? Gotta see what doctor C. Thinks. But when we really think about it does it really matter what this suit is doing to us as long as it's making life easier…? NO! STOP WE'RE UH I AM GOING TO DOCTOR CONNORS FOR HELP' and so the struggling hero made his way to the connors home before school on this mid January morning to at the very least figure out why he keeps referring to himself as more than one person and going on angry rants.
Before he could arrive at his former teachers home he stumbled across a stand off between the cops and the new shocker plus the enforcers, yuri was leading the boys in blue there but our web head didn't even care anymore. "Whoa dar partna ya go from shocker to one of shockers lackeys? How you pull off such a demotion montana?" He asked the cowboy themed criminal in a mocking southern accent. "Boss man said I didn't live up to my responsibilities and he done deserves my respect" the heroic young man and the selfish southerner argued completely ignoring shocker besides dodging his shock waves firing everywhere.
When it looked like the troubled teen was about to win montana whispered something to shocker and he blasted part of a nearby roof trapping someone right under the unstable building. "Alright bug time to run off and play hero." The former shocker taunted so sure of his victory but Spideys just laughed "like we'd really let you get away just to save some nobody dumb enough not to clear out!" He declares before knocking shocker out cold, he then began to tear the suit apart with extreme fury until he heard a shout. "SPIDER-MAN! if you're supposed to be a hero then save that bystander! We'll handle these guys from here!" The chief herself desperately pleaded to the masked vigilante she swore to bring down. 'wait what am I doing!? I was almost gonna let some innocent person get hurt JUST to thrash shocker!? What is this suit doing to me?' after he rescued the trapped civilian and brought them to a hospital he took off towards Curt's home to get some answers.
