'it's been 4 days since venom showed up and threatened the lives of everyone I care about, 4 DAYS! There's still no sign of him anywhere, not even Yuri and captain Lee can pick up a trail. Maybe if I knew who was under the symbiote slime I'd have better luck tracking him down but right now I'm operating blind!' our hero mentally panicked while scouring the city for the nightmarish monster before heading to his dorm to change. He has quite a few final essays due and he needs to get them done if he doesn't want to flunk out.
When he swings through the window of his dorm room, flash has his English class now so he usually has the room to himself at this hour, but instead of the empty room he finds venom laying on his bed with his feet up and clawed hands behind his head. "What a nice room you've got here, you hear horror stories of freshman housing. Still nothing beats the room you have in queens, right down the hall from aunt may…" the villain taunted in his all over the place voice before standing up and lunging out the window with Peter hot on his tail.
At around the same time flash Thompson was sitting on the steps of one of the dorm buildings alongside his girlfriend Liz Allen, his English class ended sooner than expected so he was left to contemplate his future. "I can't just keep fooling myself that playing football is important. Spideys out there every day risking his life doing things that really matter, it's only fair that I do the same." The jock venting to his worry filling girlfriend. "What, wait flash what are you saying?!" She asked but already had a good idea of the answer "I joined the army Liz. Sent in the papers this morning, I ship out for basic training in 2 weeks." Liz didn't know what to say, she wasn't sure what to do so she just sat there with him.
Meanwhile across town back with our red and blue hero who is swinging desperately to catch up to the black suited monster. Just as venom had reached the Parker rented townhouse he prepares to enter and attack the middle aged aunt who just got home from work when the big black beast is slammed into, crashing down on the driveway below. "STAY AWAY FROM HER!" The web head bellowed out to his devious doppelganger while trying his best to wail on his fang covered face. At this point venom just picks him up like a ragdoll, dangling him right by his big toothy grin telling his heroic opponent "ahhh fine. She's not our only target. we have plenty of others to choose from, Maybe even who you love the most… you're going to lose everything you care about too! Squirt." And with that the wall crawlers eyes widen with horrific realization. "Eddie?" The insane laugh and shit eating grin was code for him being right, but Eddie just tossed Spidey into the garbage cans across the street before disappearing.
While Peter struggles to keep his loved ones safe from the man that was his oldest friend Gwen is across town endangering herself at the Oscorp penthouse. "I'd say I'm surprised to see you here Gwen, I thought for sure Parker would have warned you not to come near me." Harry greeted the blonde as he walked into the room carrying a glass of scotch. "He did but I make my own choices, spend time with my own friends." She said while trying to smile cutely, completely ignoring the upcoming danger the young Osborn brings.
When swinging around trying to think where Eddie might go and deciding on checking the bugle, he was intercepted by a flying pink and white drone he could have gone his whole life without EVER having to see again. "Screwball!? What do you want? I'm in the middle of something!" He cried out impatiently at the internet villian before her obnoxious face and garish pink hair appeared on a screen built into the drone. "Hey Spidey! You've been a popular guy lately, I'm glad you remember me! Going from vigilante to hero, stopping that goblin guy, taking down a major crime boss, me and my fans have been dying to see what's next for you! Rather than just wait and see, I decided to set up what's next FOR YOU and of course I'll be streaming it all live!" "Screwball I don't have time for whatever it is you're up to so shut it down and just go on your merry way. Only warning." But this only made the violent fan girl even more excited "oohhh! Got some urgent matters to take care of?! I love double jeopardy! You have to deal with whatever it is while also locating and disarming 5 bombs I've planted throughout the city! But you better hurry up cause they all go boom at 10:30 tonight!" She exclaimed before the drone self-destructed practically in his red masked face. "Ahh! Come on every time with her! She is definitely way up there on my least of least favorite bad guys!" He said to himself. Confirming there was no venom or Eddie at the bugle, Spidey set off to find and stop 5 bombs.
Back over at the Osborn penthouse Harry is continually insistent that Gwen have a drink. "No Harry I don't drink and neither should you!" She raised her voice growling slightly annoyed. "There's a lot of things I shouldn't do Gwen, I seem to do them anyway ever since what happened…" the shady redhead said, laying down the grounds for bringing Gwen around to his side. "What did happen? Peter never really told me." She asked. Harry walked over to where she was standing and pulled out another bottle of scotch. "Well peter had just let your father die when he decided to try and finish off mine, I pulled him off just in time to watch his glider barrel through his abdomen. Peter's dangerous Gwen, I'd advise you to stay away from him." But Gwen's face showed she was starting to get mad "wha… now you're telling me who I shouldn't spend time with? I make my own choices! Ok mine!" But Harry just replied rather flatly, without even blinking. "I'm not trying to tell you what to do, Gwen. I just gave you the facts and expressed my concern for your safety." "You know what? I think I will have that drink." The blonde girl told him, putting a creepy smile on his face. He took two glasses out and started pouring but quickly slipped something inside the drink he handed Gwen.
High above the city 'i'm glad I could rewire my spider tracer gps to search for high frequency incendiary devices. I have no idea how else I was going to find these in time.' our hero thought as he zeroed in on a bomb. As soon as Spidey gets near the device it explodes into confetti all over his costumed face. A screwball drone flies in "you've been screwballed! Wow that was fantastic Spider-Man! My fans will love it! That bomb was a fake but there's still 4 more out there! Are they all fakes? Are they all real? Are only some real? You know you can't risk it, hero! What you waiting for?!" The annoying bad guy announced through one of her stupid drones.
Last thing Gwen remembered was she was regretfully sipping a glass of scotch Harry handed her. She didn't normally drink and really didn't want to with all the craziness in her life lately she needed SOMETHING to distract her. Unfortunately she now found herself waking up with her hands,feet and mouth bound, her clothes had also been stripped and it was at that moment she noticed that Harry was raping her. 'HARRY YOU SON OF A BITCH! HOW DARE YOU! YOU DRUGGED ME AND DO THIS?! MY GOD PETER WAS RIGHT.' she thought to herself, not that she had much choice. She couldn't say it or anything since she was gagged. As Harry proceeded to violate her without having any real emotion from it. any trace of the true Harry,a true human being, had been scraped away and all that was left was a shell. It wasn't long before a news broadcast caught his attention "the government organization S.H.I.E.L.D. has reportedly discovered the frozen body of world war two hero captain America. The captain was a heroic champion and a true legend. Created from a long lost super serum, the captain was reported killed in action in 1943 following the final battle with Nazi terrorist the red skull, his body lost at sea until now. Scientists say there's no telling what secrets the war hero's body could unlock." The anchor woman, Julie Masters, reported. "Not to mention the secrets to perfecting the ozgreen formula… with that I can finally put an end to Spider-Man once and for all, without any harmful insanity side effects." With that he immediately ceased raping the blonde girl that was once one of his closest friends, put his pants back on and headed towards the S.H.I.E.L.D. base known as the triskelion, he just left Gwen laying there tied up and naked without a second thought.
The next day Peter was in the campus library working on his last essay when Gwen storms on over nearly in tears. "My god peter I'm so sorry, you were right! Harry's dangerous! He drugged me and he tied me up and he…. He raped me, then he just left me there. Harry's gone, he's just a monster now. I should have just listened to you." She choked out, completely sober much to the dismay of fellow students and the librarian. Peter took her aside as far away from prying eyes as he could and just held her close as she cried into his sweatshirt. That is until Eddie Brock walked up to them.
"Well now doesn't that just make our inky black heart melt… but like we said we're going to take everything you care about away from you and she's the one you love the most" with that the symbiote started forming around him transforming him into venom. Gwen screamed out but the librarian just shushed her, venom knocked Peter across the wide room and straight into a bookshelf before taking off with the young miss Stacy.
A/N duhn duhn duhn. Screwball showed up again to pester Spidey with her stupid internet, attention seeking crimes, venom revealed himself as Eddie, Gwen foolishly trusted Harry and paid the price, wow Harry has become a real bastard right? Harry's off to use captain America to become goblin Jr. And venom has abducted Gwen. What do you think is going to happen? How drunk do you think I am right now? Until next time true believers!
