Push-ups. The one thing I hated with a passion. Oh there were people I hated more at the moment. I had my own personal shitlist already, 'Obito is currently at the top of that shitlist,' A lot of things had happened since my first day in Kirigakure, a week ago. I learned I lived in a shithole, there was little food at the orphanage I lived in, Discrimination was common, and as it turns out, people loved fucking with Kukui Tanku. 'I sincerely hope they don't try spiking my water again.'

I breathed in raggedly as I finished my last push-up and was thrown a water bottle, "Please drink up. We're going to need as much energy as possible for the aptitude tests," Choujuro was a kind boy. He was already more physically fit than I am, so he finished sooner. Luckily he was a saint and stuck around me all week.

I took the bottle with a grin, "Thanks, man! I really need to get in shape." I did really need to get into shape, I was getting there and my constitution is pretty high for an academy student, but it only leveled up once all week. Strength had leveled up twice and Dexterity had leveled up zero times. I still had no idea how to train that though. Swinging a sword faster maybe? Or a kunai.

Choujuro nodded, "We all do. We still need to improve before we become proper Kiri ninja!" From my conversations with the boy, he was determined to become a kiri shinobi. For what reason, I don't know. But I decided to not ask for now.

In other news, I learned who the seven swordsman of the mist were in this generation. Zabuza, Mangetsu, Kushimaru, Ameyuri, Kisame(who was apparently the newest member) and two people I didn't recognise. Zabuza, Kisame, and the two rando's were on Yagura's side, Ameyuri, Kushimaru, and Mangetsu were "defects" to the bloodline side. Kushimaru was a huge shock. Kisame was likely to defect soon, Zabuza as well and the two rando's were likely to die. I smiled at the blue haired boy. He'd become one soon, "Yeah," I'd share in his enthusiasm for a while... It kept me going.

"Alright brats, Its time for your aptitude tests," We all turned our heads and saw our sensei, "There will be five separate tests, the first will be to see your classes elemental affinity The second will be to see if you are a sensor, the third will be to see how proficiant you are with Fuinjutsu, the fourth will be for Kenjutsu proficiency. Choujuro, Kukui. You two have proven over the past week you have potential for the blade so you don't need to participate," I groaned at that. Literally the one thing I looked forward to was using swords. Our sensei chuckled, "You can still participate. And the fifth and final one will to see how much of a natural you are with the Hidden mist jutsu,"

Everyone in class nodded. and he pulled out twelve papers(I learned that there was only twelve of us because Zabuza's massacre proved quality over quantity was better.) He then threw the papers to us, "Channel chakra through them. If your not an idiot you'll be able to figure out what elemental affinity you got," I was semi excited to channel chakra. I learned it was a fucking orgasmic feeling, at least to me.

We did as instructed and channeled chakra through the papers and mine crumbled into a ball. 'Lightning maybe?' I didn't know how lightning or earth would work. But I assume this is how lightning would show itself.

Our sensei inspected our papers with a smile, "Heh. Three lightnings, Six waters. A fire. A wind. And an earth. Unexpected but not unwelcomed. Alright. We will get you to work on your elemental affinities shortly. But now for the second test..." Before we moved on I saw the fire user groan. The white haired boy.

The last two tests were boring as hell. Mainly because; A, I could sense chakra, just not very well. And B; I sucked at fuinjutsu. I was even told what to do and I still sucked. At least sensei was understanding about it because only two people were good at fuinjutsu. The black haired girl and the green haired boy. Now was the kenjutsu test.

"Alright helions, Some of you performed well on the last test, others showed actual skill, and the rest of you sucked. But that is fine. As much as we Kiri-non are ruthless, we still don't expect you all to be great at everything so you can be ruthless," I wasn't even going to question how that made sense, "But this test is a Kirigakure tradition! And so we all expect you to at least learn how to use the blade. This test is to just see where you stand before we teach you much,"

I grinned. The one good thing about being in the academy in my eyes was the fact I got taught how to use a sword. Me and Choujuro were taught some basic forms earlier on this week because we were the only ones who used a sword instead of a kunai when aiming for the vitals on puppets.

[Basic Kenjutsu: Lvl 2:

Ability to use a sword of any kind is increased by 5%]

It wasn't the best and it only leveled up yesterday. But it was awesome!

"Here are your swords," He pointed to the selection of swords and, using running, I reached the swords the fastest and grabbed the Taiji like sword. It felt right to hold. Plus it was medium length, light, and sharp. Perfect for attacking, "Now I will show you some of the basic forms for kenjutsu. Choujuro, Kukui. You already know this, so you can go spar,"

I looked at Choujuro who meekly nodded at me. Well today was going to be nice at least.

I felt pain in my entire being. It wasn't a nice day, "Choujuro, you really need to keep that," I groaned as I sat up. Sensei had just finished teaching everyone how to actually use a sword without poking their eye out. And we had finished the spar, Choujuro, with his two handed sword, smacked me around like Hashirama with the Bijuu, "You'll be an incredible shinobi for sure,"

Choujuro rubbed the back of his head, "Thanks... but I'm not that good. You just got unlucky," That was a lie. I'm sure sensei could attest to that.

I shook my head, "I will put some self confidence into you even if I have to beat it into your head," And if he was a racist, I'd beat some sense into his skull.

Choujuro gulped, "Uh, You don't need to do that... I'm pretty weak and I know it. You have too much faith in me," If only I could show him the future. If only I could.

I sighed, "One day I'll get through to you," Sensei then looked to us, "Is it time for the fifth test yet sensei?"

Sensei nodded, "Yeah you helion. Now if you two aren't too injured from sparring I can show you all the Hidden mist jutsu," I stood up and we walked to Sensei. He grinned, "Like kenjutsu, this jutsu is a tradition for any Kirigakure shinobi to know. Even if you can barely do it, you still must learn it," He looked pointedly at the white haired boy. Kenkumaro, "So here are the hand seals," I focused on his chakra and how it moved. Ox, Snake, Ram. The handseals were simple. I saw the water users did it successfully, that included Choujuro, "Alright, keep training with it until everyone can do it. Also, Kukui, don't start another brawl please," He then left. Likely to get lunch, and plans for the next day ready. 'I will start another brawl,' It was a fun pastime. And Kaina was a bitch.

Well fuck. How am I supposed to do this? Apparently, jutsu had to be successful to be learned to the system. 'Okay how did his chakra move?' I apparently was a very low level sensor. I could barely sense chakra which is why I hadn't noticed it until now. But it could be trained. 'Okay the flow of the chakra felt like it was spreading out to the moisture in the air. I felt my chakra slowly seep into the air and I began to feel more drained.

Nothing happened. Damnit.

'Again!' I was determined to get it down. I channeled chakra into the moisture in the air. I tried to control it. I felt a slight snag and mist begun to form. It was a light mist. Not one to be proud of. I needed to do better.

[New skill unlocked: Hidden mist jutsu lvl 1:

'Okay maybe I shouldn't try this again.' I didn't have the most chakra in the academy. In fact, I had the least amount of it here. Or by my rough estimations, I did. I only had forty five chakra points whereas lets say, Kenkumaro had 200 chakra points. I think he had somewhere around that much. I didn't get an observation ability. What a shame. I looked over to Choujuro, he was creating the biggest mist of them all. 'If he had confidence, he'd be the best in class,'

I'll damn well make sure he gains that confidence, and walks the path of good.' Choujuro was probably going to be my only friend here. At least for a while. I would make sure he stayed my friend for as long as possible. Plus it'd be pretty boring being alone for what? A year? 9 more months? Somewhere around there. 'I wonder what I'm going to do once I actually get the headband,'

I would think about that later, for now I had one thing to do, "Hey Kaina, fuck you, you overgrown koi fish!" Might as well start a brawl.

"WHAT'D YOU SAY TO ME SHRIMP?" Oh yeah, this one would be fun. Maybe I'd get a taijutsu skill out of this.

I could almost hear sensei's sadness.

Kirigakure wasn't the nicest place. I had learned that on day one when I got my ass beaten for some food I bought(stole. I had learned that prices were wayyyy to high for me to actually afford) The village was in shambles pretty much. This was Obito/Yagura's definition of a healthy village? Pathetic.

People were starving(half the time I was too to be honest. Being a shinobi in training caused me to naturally be hungry.) Shinobi didn't do shit to stop people like me from stealing because they needed to focus on not losing which is why I have a stealth skill.

[Stealth; lvl 4

Two weeks. Two fucking weeks, and it was this high. It didn't even level up quickly either!

And the worst part of Kirigakure?

The children, they were everywhere. Orphanages were full due to people being massacred on both sides. Apparently my family were part of the dead. Killed by a majority of the Yuki clan that wasn't in hiding using one final massive ice attack.

None of these kids had homes. And that... it made me felt something. Rage. Thats what I was feeling. Because of some man who was too much of a simp to see he was being manipulated, these people had to suffer. They didn't deserve this. No, not at all. Even if they agreed with "Yagura"

'If... no, When I get my hands on Obito, I will give him the worst death I can.' It was the least he deserved. I loved his character from an outsiders point of view. But from my eyes. Now at least, he was a monster. One like Orochimaru.

"You see it too, don't you?" I turned around and saw a girl in an alley. She had pale skin, White hair, and red, hate filled eyes. She looked beaten up. I recognised the bruising from when I got ganged up on, "The shit that our Kage," She spat the word Kage out like it was venom, "Caused. You see it too don't you?"

"I do. That short ass turtle fucker shouldn't be in office," My eyes softened, "Did people mug you?" Happens to me at least once a week... so far... I was seriously debating just stabbing these people. I was someone with pitifully low reserves and strength. Chakra enhancements wouldn't do much to grown ass men and woman.

The girl nodded as she hissed.

'Neck damage. Ouch.'

"I was trying to get some food for my friends and I... But some jerk that looked like an idiot took it and said she deserved it more. She beat me up after," The girl sighed, "I just want this to be over so things can go back to being nicer and less hard to actually endure," This poor girl had probably went through so much.

I felt the rest of my face soften and I grabbed a loaf of bread from the bag I stole from some asshat who thought themselves superior to everyone in the market, "I hate this too. But things likely aren't going to change unless we become that change," She raised her eyebrow, "Also we can't have you going back to your friends empty handed now can't we?" I didn't need the bread anyways.

She looked at me skeptically, "Why are you giving this to me? For all you know this could be a ploy to get you to let your guard down so me and my friends who could be near by could mug you." True but I'd just do what I'd normally do. Run away and try to get to somewhere safe.

I grinned, "I don't need it," She raised her other eyebrow then, "Sure, I need a lot of food so I can actually have my body grow and get stronger but I can always get more bread. Besides you and your friends might need it more than I would. I'd give you the rest of the stuff I have here but I don't want to be chased away by the shop owner twice in one day... Although," I thought about it. It wasn't worth it, "I could always just go to another store," I placed the bag at her feet, "My name's Kukui Tanku, Whats yours?"

She inspected the bag and looked up at me bearing her very sharp looking teeth into a smile "Ito Kaguya," I was shocked by the name and she saw it, "Your not one of them aren't you?" The terror on her face made me slightly hate Obito more, "Also I lied. I kinda killed a Kiri nin to get in here and to get food," I ignored that part.

I shook my head, "No. Not really a fan of the whole genociding people because they're different stuff. I hope you aren't too,"

She smiled at me and then she disappeared. 'Okay... well the Kaguya clan isn't as dead as I thought.'

Well that was my good deed for the day done. 'Now... to go rob another store,'

[Ito Kaguya]

That boy was nice... She saw the look in his eyes as he looked around. Pure hatred and disgust. But when he looked at her that look shifted into something she only saw in Kushimaru-sensei, Mei-sama, Mangetsu, Suigetsu, and Ameyuri-sama. Kindness. Sure she met others who were kind, but none took the cake like the people she mentioned. They're kindness showed in different ways.

For example, Kushimaru slaughtered the Kiri-nin about to kill her and just took her with him. Sure she was scared of the man for the first year but he was nice under that slaughter happy exterior! He even offered to teach her swordsmanship! And to eventually wield the Nubari but that didn't matter.

But the boy was a different kind of nice. Softer and less brutal. 'Thats just part of being younger and less bloodthirsty than sensei I guess,' Ito thought at she shunshinned back into base. Nobody had enough food so she decided to take a liberty and go get some. Of course those mean shinobi beat her up for looking different. 'At least they didn't kill me.' The last time they tried that, they lost a member of the swordsman.

'Maybe I should try to get him to join us,' The rebellion could always use more people to help them. Not to mention that the boy was a "Bloodline sympathiser" And if found, he'd be killed most likely. Maybe she could convince Kushimaru-sensei to just... kidnap him...

'No. That'd be jarring.' She looked around and saw the worried faces of her friends as she entered the underground labyrinth. Especially Kushimaru-sensei. Nubari was out and he looked like he was going to go on a killing spree if a pin dropped, "Uh... hi?"

Kushimaru was hugging her in an instant, "You brat! You've worried us sick! How many times have we told you to not go to Kirigakure just to get food? Thats what the genin do," The genin that defected over to their side were the ones that gathered food, "You look like a fucking bruise," The look he had under the mask was that of a mother hen.

Ito giggled, "I'm fine Kushimaru-sensei! I just got roughened up by some jerks. They stole the food I got but someone gave me his food! Also he called Yagura a "Short ass turtle fucker," And he even wasn't a jerk!" Kushimaru let her go. He looked like he was going to burst out laughing.

Suigetsu did though, "He really said that Ito-Nii?" Ito nodded and the younger boy burst out laughing once more.

Mei chuckled, "I'm pretty sure I like this guy already, tell me how old was he?" Ah damnit. Was this an attempt to get a boyfriend?

'He looked young to me. Maybe the same age as me?' Ito prided herself in guessing people's ages well. So she thought she was right, "He looked like he was around my age,"

Kushimaru slumped a bit, "A pity, Considering the Kiri academy's making brats graduate at eleven now... Did he have a headband on yet Ito?" Knowing Kushimaru-sensei, he'd likely drop a bucket of roses or something like that onto the "brats" doorstep. It was funny all things considered.

'He did walk around like he was cautious. But that's how everyone walks these days. He did have a kunai pouch on him though,' Ito shook her head, "No, but unlike everyone else he had a kunai pouch on him. He might be an academy student,"

Kushimaru's gaze saddened, "What a shame. It would be a lot easier to recruit a spy that's a genin rather than an academy student. Plus one that dislikes Yagura to boot! A shame," He seemed actually saddened by that.

Mei nodded, "A pity indeed. Rebellion sympathizers are rare sadly. Especially one that's a shinobi. Oh well, Maybe we wait until he becomes a genin then to approach. We are running low on manpower and we'll take anything we can get at this point," That blunt statement was sobering.

Ito averted her gaze downwards, "Do you think we'll win?"

Mei sighed, "I don't know. With monsters like Kisame and Yagura as our enemies we're fighting an uphill battle," Her gaze then steeled itself, "But no matter what we have to try,"

And with that the mood was darkened.

Chapter end.

Bit of a sadder ending there but hey, we're in Kirigakure now! So sadness and pain is expected. Anyways, Ito Kaguya is an OC that I literally just created this chapter. She is Kushimaru's student here and in this version of events, Kushimaru is a mother hen. I thought that'd be funny. Also Suigetsu's here for the ride. He was just nearby when Ito came back.

Anyways this is chapter two, Somethings were introduced like the idea of the MC being a low level sensor and POV changes. Which switch to third person, they are to allow everyone a hint of what the story is like from an outside perspective. Also time skips.

A mistake I made in my last Naruto fic was having Kukui graduate at like chapter 18. By my plans, he graduates at chapter 10. Which is a spoiler but you won't guess what happens. I will hint at it and it will probably be quessed by some of you, if not all of you. But it will be something amazing. Explosively so!

Anyways, see you all next week!

EDIT: So I decided to upload a day early... at 7:24AM... Yeah... Well Here's to uploading every six days!
