[Obito Uchiha]
Obito felt entertained. Not much in his hell gave him entertainment anymore. He had to focus on his plans. Most of which involved screwing over Kirigakure as hard as possible. He couldn't act against Nagato at the moment. He was too powerful. Nor could he remove the stupid seal around his heart.
Now, that didn't mean he wouldn't do those things eventually. He just had far bigger priorities at the moment. Mainly watching four brats plant explosive tags to kill their teachers with. 'Just another reason why this cruel world needs to be reborn. If kids have to resort to this to leave...' Obito's disgust caused him to ignore that he was the reason why this was happening as he watched the Brown haired boy place an explosive tag on the principal's picture of him and his wife.
Zetsu would have found that one funny. Yes, even Black Zetsu. 'At least they're doing my job for me.' This would screw over Kiri for a while as a whole. Even if the rebellion won they'd still have to rebuild Kiri from the ground up which only made his plans easier. How long had they been planning this? Weeks? Since the midterms? Months? Maybe even years. Obito didn't know but he found himself impressed slightly at where the girl was placing the tags at.
"Ooh here!" And here!" The girl placed an explosive tag perfectly on the coffee mug's handle, "Ooh here will be devious!" Another mug had the same color as the explosive tag. She placed it in the rim of the mug. Someone would get a quick but brutal death it seemed.
The Grey/White(Obito couldn't tell) haired boy grinned, "Oh that's so evil Himiko!" The boy placed an explosive tag in one of the academy folders. When they opened that they'd be dead for sure. Obito just found himself saddened at that.
These kids have seen the pain of reality and they were just taking part in the cycle. 'It will change soon. And then I can be with her again.' The memory of his beloved was still painful to him. He could still remember her face as she died... Obito pushed back that memory as it just hurt too much to think about.
The brown haired one(Kukui? Yagura's memory of the boy was fuzzy and he didn't get much information when he was far away...) Looked at the two, "Perfect. Now we need to wait for tomorrow and we'll be good. We've got everything ready too,"
'Interesting. I wonder what they have planned.' Obito was just here out of bordem at this point. He had quite literally nothing he needed to do for another few minutes and right now this was just entertainment if saddening. But he would make sure this never had to happen again and he'd be the hero of the world.
The blue haired one nodded, "Yeah! Escape plans and hunter nin plans... So before we go do this I just want to say something," Oh was this important? Everyone looked at the boy with a sickening smile, "I love you guys. Your all the best friends I could have asked for," AH never mind. Just a sickening display of affection, When we retake Kiri I can't wait for everyone to be the best shinobi they can be and for the peace to finally be here," Ah that was their goal.
'Admirable but unneeded with me around.' Obito would be the one to cause peace. But he supposed he could let the children have their fun once he had no need for Yagura anymore. He was beginning to outlive his usefulness anyways.
Obito watched as the blue haired boy was mobbed into a hug, "We love you too buddy. We're in this together and when we're out of here we can retake Kiri eventually," Kukui's air of confidence brought the room around him up. Obito even found himself feeling something from the confidence and the smile the boy had, "We're going to stop Yagura for sure and when we do we'll make Kiri great again," Why did that sound like something a politician would say? It just did.
The little group of friends smiled, "Yeah and when we do we're totally gonna make it better than ever before! Also we need to take back Samehada from fishface,"
This reminded Obito they were still children.
[Kukui Tanku]
Tomorrow was the day. It has already been nine months since my reincarnation and so much has happened. I've made friends, I've changed in so many ways, I've learned, I've laughed, I've cried. Everything that has happened so far pales in comparison to what I... no we were going to do tomorrow.
Everyone was gathering their final supplies from their living arrangements. Clones were being prepped and sealed. And we were going to leave soon... It still felt surreal to know that only less than a year ago, I was going to technically be a terrorist at almost eleven.
It almost made me laugh. 'I just hope I'm ready to fight.'
I took a look at my stats.

It wasn't going to be easy. Nothing was going to be easy from here on out. But I was ready for action and to fight. I had my friends and my tricks. Together we could all beat a hunter-nin or two. I thought so at least. I was prepared to kill now. I wasn't okay with killing children but adults were fair game... especially if it fucked over Yagura's plans currently. They couldn't spare any academy teachers at the moment so killing them all would be a huge blow to him and Obito.
I smiled and looked at myself in the mirror, I had my bag in hand, tomorrow was going to be a great day. One to behold. One to remember. It was going to be art! 'I just hope they die quickly...' That was all I hoped for them. Otherwise, I'd see them all in hell. Gladly. I just needed to kill a few others before I got there.
I just couldn't wait.
[Himiko Chinoike]
"AND FUCK YOU, YOU LITTLE HEATHEN!" Himiko cowered back into the corner... It was just one more night of this then she'd be free. She could finally be with her friends and they would leave Kiri for a while so they could come back and make it great again! But still it hurt, "One of these day's you are going to get us killed," The way her mother said it did not suggest her and her parents... Just her parents. That only hurt Himiko more.
Her parents belittled her and cursed her out more often than ever now. Ever since she had unlocked her Ketseryugan her parents had been more aggressive in their endeavors in hiding their heritage. Himiko's father sighed, "Maybe we should move onto extreme measures..." Himiko stiffened at that... They didn't mean it didn't they?
Himiko's mom nodded and grinned, "Yeah. That would be great. We can explain it as a training accident too," She grabbed a pair of tweasers, "Then she'll be here with us, all day, every day," That was a fate worse then death to Himiko.
Himiko's dad looked at Himiko, "Just hold still. It will all be over in a few short minutes," She couldn't hold still. She activated her Ketseryugan out of reflex and her father(sperm doner at this point) grinned, "Yes that's what we want to remove, Honey go for the left one first,"
Himiko's mom nodded and began moving closer to her, "Alright. Don't move this'll be over quickly brat!" She seemed manic. Himiko drew a kunai slowly and collapsed into herself like a turtle. What would her friends do? They'd fight back right?
Himiko wouldn't though... she couldn't, "No please no don't do this... Anything but this!" Himiko whimpered as her mother inched closer. To her her parents wouldn't truly hurt her. 'They are now though... don't let them take away your individuality.' What was that voice?
Himiko's mother laughed, "Oh but you've exhausted all other options. Once we get you out of public eye there won't be any more public scrutiny for our family. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU STUPID BRAT!" Ah yes This was because of her. It was all Himiko's fault. It was her fault for being herself. 'No it isn't.' The same voice told her. It sounded comforting, "Everything bad that has happened to us is your fault! Including this!"
As her mother inched closer, Himiko registered the words and felt something inside of her break...
Himiko felt herself stab her mother in the shoulder with her Ketseryugan activated. She looked her mother dead in the eyes and saw... fear... Was this how she looked when her mother beat her? When her father called her names? When her mother screamed at her? It looked saddening... Why would anyone want to see this?
'Because they are monsters. And to rise above monsters you have to get rid of your humanity...' The voice told her once more... Maybe just this once she could listen to it. Himiko ripped her mother's chest open using the kunai and took out the blood, her mother died instantly and her father looked at her like she was the devil.
"Y-your a devil... YOU KILLED MY WIFE!" He didn't move though. Fear overtook the man. He tried to throw a kunai at Himiko and she dodged.
'Yes. Spill it! Let it roam free! Attack! Liberate!' Himiko decided to listen to the voice again. It had been helpful so far. Very.
Blood began flying across the room toward her father once it formed into a knife. Himiko began laughing madly. This felt liberating! She was finally free! Himiko's mad cackles filled their house as her father was impaled by her own mother's blood!
'Now. To escape Kiri in a few hours with my friends!' Himiko thought as she looked at the blood. It looked beautiful now that she looked at it again. So pretty. Why did her parents even keep it in their bodies anyways? Oh yeah they needed it to live.
Himiko took one last look at the blood and smiled.
Such a pretty red.
[Choujuro]
Choujuro felt nervous. Like really nervous. His hands were clamming up and he was shaking. He was also excited. Tonight was what they were waiting for. They were going to be able to escape together. Him and his friends would be free from Kirigakure and they could come back one day to liberate it!
Choujuro finished packing his backpack. It had everything he needed to survive for a few weeks. 'I almost still can't believe it.' Everything changed nine months ago. He became friends with Kukui and they began training together.
Kukui was starting to seem different from their classmates. He seemed nice and not like he wanted to kill innocent bloodline users. Then he had it all but confirmed by the time he met Sanemi and Himiko. He didn't know about them yet then. But they were nice.
Then when he was about to ask Kukui if he wanted to leave Kiri with him for a better future(possibly their other two as well if they proved to not be like their other classmates) But the surprise of his life came when his three friends sat him down and told about them being bloodline supporters. Himiko was even a Chinoike!
He was then asked to join them when they left Kirigakure. Kukui had a plan, maps, and all that was needed was an escape route. It was magical! Then they came up with where they'd go and what they'd do. Their clones would set off the explosive tags they left in the academy for them.
Then by then they'd be out of Kiri. If Hunter-nin showed up they'd have to go look six separate ways for them and that wouldn't help. And Kukui was confident in their skills. Enough that they could take down a hunter-nin or two! He felt touched with his friends belief in him.
Now it was so close to being time. Now he had friends and people he had to protect. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he was the strongest of them all. Himiko, Sanemi, and Kukui assured him he was. And he was hesitant to believe them, but if he truly was then he'd have to protect them!
They were his friends and they couldn't be allowed to die. Not before or after they changed Kirigakure for the better. They all promised!
"What happens if one of us dies? Like do we quit? We're all in this together and I don't want to think of what would happen if one of us died," Himiko said, oddly serious. This wasn't good. Choujuro felt his mood go down right away... Yeah what would they do if one of them died?
Choujuro looked at Kukui as he raised a fist up, "Well, we won't die!" His confidence lightened the atmosphere right away(Confidence that Choujuro wished he had) "We'll just protect each other no matter what. If someone attacks one of us, they attack all of us," Choujuro saw Sanemi and Himiko perk up, "If they try they will die!"
Sanemi grinned and raised his sword to the sky, "Yeah! We'll kick anyone's asses who messes with us!"
Himiko nodded and grinned, "I like it! We'll beat anyone if we have to! Even the shinigami itself!"
Choujuro smiled and looked at his friends. They were all he had. He would protect them with his life, "Yeah! We'll just have to protect each other!" Choujuro loved moments like these... they felt like a family when they were like this. Kukui the older cool brother and the rest were younger siblings. It just felt right.
Choujuro smiled fondly at the memory. Just four days ago this happened. Kukui was the older brother of the group and they all knew it. He was the one that kept them all in check and the one that would probably force them to train or get out the way of an attack.
His friend needed to be protected and he, Sanemi, and Himiko would protect him. Just like he would protect them.
Choujuro looked at the time. It was almost time to leave.
"I need to get out of here!" Choujuro scrambled to leave his home. For the last time hopefully.
[Kukui Tanku]
I looked at everything once again. The tags were in place, the maps were ready. We had stolen a few more scrolls to seal some clones in. We were all ready. Just another hour and it'd begin. I almost couldn't believe it... Me and my friends were going to be terrorists and technically missing nin... Himiko had stolen four headbands for us... We already scratched them out but we weren't wearing them yet. Couldn't afford to be sold out yet.
"Nervous?" I saw Sanemi as he was walking, "You've been spaced out for a few minutes,"
I nodded, "Yeah... Everything's been planned, we're ready to leave and we won't even be there to blow up the academy ourselves. Our clones will. But I can't help but feel nervous. What if we fail? What if we're caught?"
Sanemi placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled kindly, "We won't fail," The power in those words were oddly comforting, "You came up with the plan and how we're leaving. We know where we're going. And we have a way to evade hunter-nin. We will be fine," He then looked me in the eyes, "Even if we're caught. We will fight and we will win."
'I never thought he'd be one to inspire.' I smiled, "I never took you for the kinda guy to inspire people,"
Sanemi chuckled, "And I never took you for the kinda guy to plan a terrorist attack. One that'll benefit the future for sure!" It would. Kiri couldn't produce anymore child soldiers for a while and they'd have to find suitable sensei.
Himiko then ran up to us, "Guys c'mon lets go, Its almost time to leave and I want to visit our spot one last time!" Choujuro was behind her, smiling. Everyone was smiling.
I wanted to protect their smiles... They didn't deserve to have to fight in this war. Nobody did. 'Obito will pay for this war.' Yagura was a good Kage too. And Obito had to just fuck up his reign. Poor dude was getting hard screwed over. And because of that, everyone else was also getting screwed. 'Including them.'
Choujuro rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "Yeah we need to say bye to it before we go. I know we'll return one day but it wouldn't hurt to say goodbye."
I smiled, "No it wouldn't. And we've got some time," I stood up, "Lets go!"
"Yay!"
Honestly I'm just preparing for the tragedy here. Himiko's pov was dark because this will come into play later with her brutality. I won't spoil what I have planned for her though. Anyways, one more chapter left and we're officially done with the academy arc. It feels surreal tbh. To know that this is all written in advance to when its being uploaded. I kinda don't know what to do next. For the next arc. I kinda just have a general direction but I don't know what path to follow.
Oh well. I'll figure it out. I have plenty of time.
Anyways, see y'all next week! Bye!
- Tobi
EDIT: Damn. Nine chapters in already. Wow... Just gotta say its been one hell of a ride already and I'm excited to see what you all think of what I have planned! Also we've hit 100 favorites! I didn't think this'd happen for this fic. Or at least for a while! So its nice to see! Thank you all for reading!
