AN It took me a bit to get this chapter right, and it's mostly just talking and arguing, but hopefully, it's good. There is some speaking in parseltongue, so any sentences with letters leaning like this are Parseltongue, enjoy.

Chapter 38: From Enemies to Temporary Allies.
Thor stood there staring in shock at Loki, casually leaning against the wall, with his arms crossed over his chest and legs locked together at the ankles; standing beside him was Sirius Black, who had his arm lying on Loki's shoulder, leaning into his side, with one hand on his hip. No one moved, no one said anything, all too surprised by the sudden appearance to do anything, but the Avengers got over their shock quickly enough, and all but Thor and Bruce got into fighting positions, standing in front of the pair.
"Look, Reigny, our friends are happy to see us, " Sirius said, giving them that infamous cocky grin of his.
"I wouldn't exactly call us friends," Steve said.
"And we are not happy to see you," Clint said; Loki unfolded his arms, and Sirius moved off him, so he could stand up straight.
"Aww, that hurt." Loki mocked, putting a hand on his chest, then his eyes fell on Bucky, and he smirked, "You must be Bucky Barnes. It's always a joy to meet a new Avenger. I look forward to fighting you someday."
"I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun," Bucky replied, and Loki's smirk turned into a smile.
"You have an attitude. I like it," Loki said.
"Sirius, Loki," Harry said, he was trying to make his way to his parents, but his shout caused Jane to get over her shock, and she moved faster, having two uninjured legs. She charged towards the couple, then stopped before Loki, and he raised his eyebrow as she raised her hand back.
"This is for New York," Jane said, bringing her hand down to strike Loki's face, but Sirius caught her wrist before her hand could connect.
"I already blasted one bitch across a cemetery for hitting Loki tonight. I won't hesitate to blast another," Sirius said.
Thor rushed forward and pulled Jane out of Sirius's grasp, and stepped in front of her, which caused Loki to jump in front of Sirius, blocking him from Thor.
"Back off, Thor!" Loki snapped.
"Brother, I wasn't-" Thor's words died in his throat when a dagger appeared in Loki's hand, and he pointed it at Thor in a similar matter as Harry had, Thor fought the urge to smile.
"Do not touch him," Loki warned.
"Drop it, Loki," Tony said; he was holding his palm out. "Or get zapped."
Sirius stepped in front of Loki, blocking Tony from him. He raised his hand, magic swirling around his fingers.
"Go ahead, fire that, and I fire this. We'll see what hits who first?" Sirius warned.
"You think a bunch of glittery light will outdo my lasers?" Tony asked, "Please, my laser will hit you before you can move."
"Do you really want to test that theory?" Sirius said. Loki turned to Sirius.
"What are you doing?" Loki whispered. Thor could hear the concern in his voice.
"I'm protecting you," Sirius whispered back. "If he wants to blast you, he has to go through me."
"Which will be easy," Tony said. Sirius and Loki both glared at him, which caused Tony to sneaker.
"Darling, I appreciate the sentiment, but I have been hit with Stark's laser before. I got back up," Loki said, "You will not."
Loki took Sirius by the arm and moved him out of the firing range. Thor grinned. That was twice Loki protected Sirius. Twice he saw that he could still care about someone. Maybe Loki wasn't as lost as Thor had feared. But Thor couldn't think about that now because Tony enjoyed annoying Sirius and Loki a little too much.
"Hey, Rudolph," Tony said, putting his arm down and grinning at Loki, "Before we lock you up in that big glass cage over there, why don't you humor us and show us the umm..other you."
"I beg your pardon?" Loki said.
"Your feminine side," Tony said, "Show us what you look like as a woman."
"Loki isn't showing you shit," Sirius said, sounding angry.
"Ooo, Houdini is the jealous type." Tony teased. Sirius stepped toward Tony, but Loki threw out his arm and stopped him.
"Do not sink to his level, darling," Loki said, "Stark is purposely trying to anger you."
"If he steps out of that rubbish bin, I'll show him how angry I can get," Sirius said.
"Rubbish bin? Rubbish bin? Are you calling my suit a trash can?" Tony asked, "Those are fighting words."
"Get out of it then, and I'll kick your arse." Sirius said, "I won't need magic to do it."
"Stop," Harry said, finally approaching them, "No one is fighting anyone. Just stop."
Harry stood in front of Loki and Sirius and faced Tony, giving him an angry look. Though he didn't voice it, he almost had a flashback of being tossed out a window because the look Harry was wearing was damn close to the same angry expression Loki wore when he tossed Tony out the window.
"Harry, " Loki said, protectively pulling Harry to him. "We did not come here to fight anyway. We just came to take you home."
"Will be hard to take anyone home when you aren't going home yourself," Clint said, "Come on, Loki, did you think you could show up here and we'd let you leave?"
"You can't stop us," Loki said, moving Harry aside and stepping towards Clint, who raised his fist, getting ready to fight, but Harry stepped between him with his arms out. It looked like it was taking him everything he had to stay standing on both legs.
"Stop, we shouldn't fight each other," Harry said, "We have bigger problems to worry about."
"Harry has a point," Natasha said, "I would like to know more about this Dark Wizard he mentioned. How big of a threat is he?"
"That's not for you to worry about," Loki said.
"Loki, they can help us," Harry said, lowering his arms.
"We do not need them, Harry," Loki said, "Sirius and I, along with Dumbledore and his fighters, can handle Voldemort. They can stay in the muggle world and address muggle threats. "
"Muggles have joined Voldemort." Harry pointed out, "At least let Thor help. He's a god. Two gods on our side, Voldemort and his sister won't stand a chance."
"They don't stand a chance now," Loki said, "Not with me."
"Brother," Thor said. He stepped over to Harry and laid a hand on his shoulder, he knew his brother well, and he knew unless he did something to prevent him from wanting to leave, at any moment, Loki would grab both Harry and Sirius and teleport away, and Thor would lose his chance to get the answers he wants.
"I'm sorry, Thor," Loki said, "We are in a bit of a hurry, no time to chat."
Thor watched as Loki took hold of Sirius's hand and reached out to take hold of Harry, but Thor moved him out of reach and put him between Steve and Bucky. Harry stumbled a little, but Bucky caught him and helped him regain his balance, and Harry looked at Thor confused, but Loki was now looking mad, his eyes wide and nostrils flared. Sirius let go of Loki's hand and moved forward to grab Harry, but Tony and Clint stepped in his way, only making Loki more angry.
"Are you trying to stop me from taking my….taking Harry with me." Loki demanded, "Because that won't end well for any of you."
"Taking who, Loki?" Thor demanded, "Go ahead, brother, tell me who Harry is to you."
"That is not your business," Loki said.
"Brother-" Thor said.
"Do not call me that. I am not your brother," Loki said, "And unless you want me to burn this tower down, you will give me Harry, now, and stay away from him."
"Stay away from Harry?" Thor asked, "Stay away from my nephew? Are you going to lie about who he is? Are you going to stand there and deny he is your son right in front of him, brother?"
"You know?" Loki asked. He looked toward Harry, who shrugged.
"He figured it out on his own," Harry said, running his hand through his messy curls. Loki turned back to Thor.
"Congratulations, Thor, you finally got to use the one brain cell you and Odin share," Loki said.
"Very funny, Loki," Thor said, "I'm not stupid."
"You never proved otherwise," Loki replied, crossing his arms.
"Why did you never tell me you have a son?" Thor demanded.
"Because it is none of your business," Loki said.
"That's not a good enough reason," Thor said.
"It's the one you're getting," Loki said. Thor rolled his eyes, then turned to Harry.
"Nephew-"
"Do not speak to him!" Loki said, pushing Thor, "Do not go near him, and do not call him nephew, Harry is my son, and you are not my brother; therefore, he is not your nephew."
"The same blood may not flow through our veins, but we are still brothers," Thor said, "Which makes Harry my nephew, and he's under my protection."
"Under your protection?" Loki demanded, "Harry does not need to be under your protection Thor. He has two parents perfectly capable of protecting him."
"Why did you not tell me you have a son, Loki?" Thor demanded.
"Why do you think?" Loki demanded.
"Tell me the truth for once, brother," Thor said. Loki glared at him, he was angry at Thor for bringing this up, and Thor had no idea why. "Stop with all your secrets, and just tell me."
"ODIN!" Loki screamed, making half the room jump.
"What does Father have to do with it?" Thor demanded. Loki gave him a long-searching look before his eyes went to the Avengers, then turned back to Thor and spoke in a language he hadn't heard Loki speak in a long time.
"Odin is the reason I never told you," Loki hissed, "or Mother because you both would have told Odin. I abandoned my child with his father because I knew it was their safest option. You know how Odin is. He banished you to Midgard, with no powers, just because you hurt his ego. What do you think he would have done if he knew I gave birth to a child out of wedlock fathered by a Midgardain?"
"Umm, why the hell is Loki hissing like a snake?" Clint asked.
"Don't ask me how Loki's mind works," Tony said, "I'm a genius, not a psychopath."
Thor stared at Loki in surprise. He knew he spoke in Parseltongue, the language they invited when they were children because Loki didn't want the Avengers to hear his reasons. Thor decided he would respect Loki's wish, and though he hadn't spoken the language in years, Thor was able to remember how it was like riding a horse you never forget.
"Loki, Father banished me because I started a war with the Jotunn. "Thor hissed. Loki rolled his eyes.
"And now Thor is hissing," Bucky said. "What the hell?"
"You're a fool, Thor, if you believe Odin did not banish you because you had the guts to call him an old fool," Loki said.
The Avengers watched, confused, as the brothers hissed back and forth while Harry stood next to Sirius, acting as his interpreter, whispering in his ear what Loki and Thor were saying.
"That is not true, Loki, and you know it," Thor said, "Father banished me because of what we did in Jotunheim, and he would not hurt your child or your lover just because they are Midgardain. He is not like that. He is the protector of the nine realms."
"Please, when does he ever get off that throne and protect anything other than his massive ego and his secrets and lies?" Loki said. "He raised me, Thor. Who do you think I learned it from?"
"Brother," Thor said, but Loki held up a finger and silenced him, and when he answered Thor, he spoke in English for everyone to hear.
"If you want to run off and tell all of Asgard, I got…what is the Midgardain saying? Oh yes, that I got knocked up. Go ahead. I do not care anymore what Odin or anyone else thinks of me. My son deserves better than to be my biggest secret, and I am not ashamed of my relationship with Sirius. If anyone thinks they will come after my family, they are sorely mistaken."
"And you best warn big Daddy, Loki isn't the only person he would have to go through to get to Harry," Sirius said. "And I'm sure as hell not afraid of him coming after me."
"Neither am I." Harry agreed. He limped over to Loki, who put his arm around him.
"Now, unless anyone else has any more dumb questions." Loki said, "Sirius, Harry, and I are leaving."
"Actually, now that you have hissed out your family drama, I want to hear more about this Voldemort threat," Natasha said.
"That is nothing you need to worry about," Loki said, "Sirius and I will handle it."
"Loki, let them help," Harry said.
"Harry, sweetheart, we do not need their help," Loki said, "What we need to do is get you back to Hogwarts."
"This is Voldemort we are talking about. We can use all the help we can get," Harry said.
"Harry is right," Sirius said. Loki glared at him, "Don't give me that look, Reigna. I know we, along with Dumbledore and the order, are more than capable of handling Voldemort and the Death Eaters, but we also have Voldemort's sister and the muggles on their side, and we have to find a certain item, plus we have to protect Harry. We have a lot of things to handle. Let them help. They can deal with the muggles."
"If there's a threat, we need to know about it," Steve said, "So we can keep people safe."
"Mr. Barnes," Harry said, and Bucky looked at him a little surprised. "Do you go by the name The Winter Solider?" Bucky wrenched at that.
"Not anymore," Bucky said.
"I meant no disrespect, I just thought you should know Pierce mentioned you, and Voldemort said he would get you back for him if he killed his father's enemy or something like that," Harry said.
"What?" Steve demanded.
"I'll be fine, Steve," Bucky said, "Hey, Kid, did Voldemort say who his father was?"
"Yeah, I've never heard the name before," Harry said, "We thought his father was Tom Riddle, but tonight he called his dad Johann Schmidt."
"Please tell me you are lying," Steve said.
"No, why, who is Johann Schmidt?" Harry asked.
"Red Skull," Bucky, Steve, and Sirius said at the same time, everyone turned to look at Sirius, and he shrugged.
"I read about him in a book about Captain America," Sirius explained.
"Why in Odin's name did you read a book about Captain America?" Loki demanded. "You hate reading."
"I read when I have to, and I read about whichever Avenger had a book written about them," Sirius said, "I wanted to learn all I could about the Avengers before breaking in here."
"That was smart thinking," Natasha said.
"Yeah, if Sirius weren't a wanted criminal, he would make a good S.H.E.I.L.D agent," Clint said, and Sirius shivered at that.
"No, thanks, Barton. I don't care much for authority figures. I'd get fired before a week was up," Sirius said, "I definitely don't work well with any type of government agency, not after mine screwed me over."
"I still do not like you reading about Rogers," Loki said, "What in his past could have possibly been useful when breaking in here?"
"Ooo, Reindeer Games is the jealous type too," Tony said, "If I remember correctly, you were the one who flirted with ole Cap before escaping with the tesseract."
"You did what?" Sirius demanded, putting his hands on his hips.
"I was only trying to annoy him," Loki said, "I wasn't being...serious about it." He chuckled, "And you say I need to learn to control my jealousy."
"You did rip my jumper in half just because it had another man's name on it." Sirius pointed out.
"Alright, you two can have a lovers quarrel later," Natasha said, "Can we get back to this threat?"
"Fine, " Loki said, "but you better not get in the way."
"Well, I guess we should start by telling you just who Voldemort is," Sirius said, running his hand through his hair.
"Love, you probably should start by explaining the wizarding world," Loki said. Sirius nodded.
"You guys might want to have a seat. This will take a while," Sirius replied as Loki conjured a chair that looked somewhat like a mini throne and had Harry sit in it.
An hour later, the Avengers sat scattered around the room, not knowing if they should believe or not believe what Sirius had just told them. They didn't understand how there could be hidden communities all around the world, made up of real-life pointed hat-wearing, broom-flying, cauldron-brewing witches and wizards, that had their own shops, schools, prisons, and even governments and laws, and to top that, they had a war, not many years ago, and none of them knew about it. How was any of it possible?
"I have a question," Clint said, "Why hide? You have magic. It's not like people without magic stand a chance against you."
"Really? So you muggles didn't go on witch hunts in the sixteen hundreds?" Sirius demanded.
"You mean like the Salem witch trials? Those were real witches?" Jane demanded.
"No, the people from Salem were falsely accused muggles, but that wasn't the only place that happened around that time, and though most that were caught weren't actual witches and the ones who were could cast spells to protect themselves, there were still a small few that died because of it, which scared them into hiding, I believe it's also the start of the prejudiced against muggles and muggles-born from purebloods."
"Okay, you lost me. What do you mean by pureblood?" Tony asked.
"The wizarding world is a bit obsessed with blood status," Sirius explained, "there are three types, muggle-born, half-blood, and pureblood. A muggle-borns is a witch or wizard who is born to muggles; purebloods are a witch or wizard whose family is all magic, and half-bloods are someone who has both muggle and wizard blood. "
"Let me guess. This is where Voldemort comes in?" Natasha said.
"Yes, a lot of purebloods are prejudiced against those who are not purebloods and call purebloods who befriend them or marry them blood traitors," Sirius said.
"Hey, Stevie, that sounds familiar, doesn't it?" Bucky asked. Steve nodded his head, but he frowned.
"But Schmidt wasn't a wizard." Steve said, "Are you saying these purebloods picked a leader who isn't even a pureblood to rage war with? Doesn't that go against their ideology?"
"Hippocrates, Captain," Loki said, "Voldemort is the most powerful wizard on their side. He has a way of charming people, getting them to bow to his every wish. They ignore his blood status or do not know he is half-blood because of it. In reality, purebloods do not exist. They all have muggle ancestors; if it weren't for my mother teaching them magic, they wouldn't have it."
"Not to mention people like the Malfoys, some of the biggest muggle haters around, had ancestors who got their riches from dealings with muggles," Sirius said.
"Really?" Loki asked.
"Yep, Walburga had a book about the Sacred Twenty-Eight; it tells everything about their families history," Sirius said, "She forced me to read it before I started Hogwarts, so I knew who to befriend."
"Let me guess. You avoided making friends with any of the families from that book?" Loki asked.
"Most of them," Sirius said.
"Who is Walburga?" Bruce asked.
"The not-so-lovely bitch that gave birth to me." Sirius said, "Be thankful, she's died, so you don't have the unfortunate chance of ever meeting her."
"So, Loki has daddy issues and you have mommy issues, you two make a great couple." Tony laughed, and Clint snorted. Sirius scowled.
"What is Voldemort's goal exactly?" Steve asked. Cutting off whatever Sirius was about to reply, instead, he turned his attention to Steve.
"It used to be to get rid of muggles and muggle-borns and have purebloods ruling everything," Sirius said, "But I guess his goal has changed." He looked toward Harry.
"Voldemort said he and his sister were going to rule both the wizard and muggle worlds," Harry explained, "But, there is something I don't get."
"What's that, sweetheart?" Loki asked.
"When Voldemort thought Tom Riddle was his father, he hated him, but when he talked about Johann Schmidt, he spoke as if he was proud of him, but Schmidt isn't a wizard. I don't understand what's the difference?"
"Probably because Schmidt is just like Voldemort," Sirius said, "The book I read told all about him. It was like reading a story about a muggle version of Voldemort."
"Yeah, I get that vibe when you talk about Voldemort. He sounds like a wizard version of Red Skull," Steve said.
"You know if Voldemort is Schmidt's son, and Pierce and Rumlow are on his side, then that means Hydra are the muggles who joined Voldemort," Bucky said.
"Makes sense. Schmidt formed Hydra, so, of course, they'll look at his kids as their new leader, especially if they know of their powers," Steve said. He looked at Sirius, "You read my book, you know I fought Schmidt during the war, so, it's likely me he meant when he spoke of his father's enemy."
"And you're the biggest thing standing in his way, of getting Bucky back." Tony pointed out.
"Steve isn't the only one he has to go through," Clint said, "Bucky is an Avenger, he'll have to fight us all to get to him."
"How adorable," Loki said, as his lip curled.
"I have a question," Bruce said, "Johann Schmidt died in the 1940s, how could Voldemort be his son? How old is this guy?"
"I'm not sure how old Voldemort is, but he was sixteen over fifty years ago," Harry said.
"So, Voldemort is in his 70s or close to it?" Clint asked.
"Great, the biggest threat in the world right now is Grandpa Munster," Tony said.
"I don't understand, how did you not know about Voldemort's sister before?" Bruce said.
"Voldemort grew up in an orphanage after his mother died when he was a baby, his real name is Tom Marvolo Riddle, and he was led to believe Tom Riddle was his father, but turns out his mother lied about that, Voldemort told me tonight, she stole him from his father, but abandoned his sister with him, I'm assuming she grew up in a different country, her accent sounds Russian," Harry explained.
"After Schmidt died, Hydra must have hidden her away," Bucky said. "Kept her secret."
"We should probably tell Fury about this," Steve said. "Pierce was a part of the World Council they'll want to know."
"And Fury will want to know a reason we didn't lock Loki, and Sirius up," Tony said, "He'll find out there were here somehow, he always does."
"Are you guys really going to let Loki go?" Jane demanded, "You do remember what he did, right?"
"We have no choice, Jane, if we are to fight this Dark Wizard and his people, we need my brother," Thor said.
"Yeah, but when this is all over and we've saved the world again, we are locking your ass up," Clint said to Loki, "We aren't just letting you walk."
"Whatever you say," Loki said, he turned to Sirius. "Darling, you told them enough, can we go, Harry needs rest, he's been through a lot tonight."
"I doubt I can sleep," Harry said, standing.
"You can take some Dreamless Sleep Potion," Loki said.
"I have a question," Jane said, "If this Dark Wizard was defeated before, why not just do whatever stopped him then? Just make sure he's dead this time."
"No, that is not an option," Loki said.
"Why?" Jane asked, "What took him out before?"
"I am sorry, but are you an Avenger now?" Loki asked.
"No," Jane said.
"Then do not worry about it," Loki said.
"Loki," Thor said, "It's a good question. Why…"
"Because I said so," Loki said, "Now my family and I are leaving, we will send word when you are needed, keep an eye out for owls."
"Wait," Tony said, "How do we know you aren't just going to disappear never to be seen again? We are taking a big chance here by just taking your word."
"Tony is right, for all we know this is all made up, we're allowing you to go, based on the shape your son showed up in, and your story about witches and wizards with no proof it's real." Bruce said.
"Maybe one of us should go with them," Steve suggested, "Speak to their government."
. "You'd have to talk to Albus Dumbledore," Sirius said, "The Minister would only laugh at a group of muggles offering to fight Voldemort."
"And there is one problem with that." Loki said, "You won't be able to get into Hogwarts, not with the enchantments that repeal muggles, you will not even be able to see the castle."
"I can," Thor said, standing, and Loki groaned.
"There is no way you are coming with us," Loki said.
"Babe, " Sirius said, "It might be a good idea, he can talk to Dumbledore on behalf of the Avengers."
"Fine, but he better not be annoying. " Loki said.
"Take your phone with you, and keep us posted," Tony said.
"He can't," Harry said, "Muggle technology doesn't work in Hogwarts, all the magic makes it go haywire."
"He can send an owl or use one of the fireplaces." Sirius said, "If you have one we have ways of communicating through them."
"I'll see if a fireplace can be put in somewhere," Tony said.
"Dumbledore is not available tonight, so, why don't Thor stay here, I'll get him tomorrow." Loki said.
"Nice try, Loki, I'm coming with you today," Thor said.
"Well, it's actually night in Britain at the moment," Loki said.
"You guys keep mentioning an Albus Dumbledore, though I know we didn't know of your witchy world before, why does that name still sound familiar?" Tony asked.
"I think it's one of the names Pierce mentioned Hydra had targeted as a threat," Clint said. "If he's an enemy of Voldemort, I guess we know why now."
"Thor, you aren't actually going, are you?" Jane demanded.
"Yes, this is important." Thor reached over and gave her a hug, and kissed the top of her head, then turned to Loki. "Alright, brother, I am ready."
He walked over and put his hand on Loki's shoulder, and Loki shrugged it off, as Harry and Sirius each took one of Loki's hands, Harry reached over and grabbed Thor's arm.
"Wait," Thor said, then went over, picked up Mjolnir and Harry's dagger, and walked back over, he handed the dagger to Harry, hung Mjolnir on his belt then took hold of Harry's arm, and the four of them disappeared.
They appeared in the infirmary of Hogwarts, where a small group of people was waiting on them, Remus Lupin, Andromeda Tonks, Madam Promfry and Albus Dumbledore, Remus looked surprised to see Thor as he introduced himself to Dumbledore and shook his hand when Thor introduced himself to Andromeda he kissed her hand which caused her to blush. He couldn't help but notice she was a very pretty woman but also had a wedding ring on her finger, saying she was off limits, but Thor had Jane anyway, even if they did mostly argue lately.
Harry insisted on being able to take a shower before getting into bed, and Loki accompany him into the washroom in the infirmary in case he needed help, while they waited on him to get done, Sirius, Andromeda, and Remus stood to the side quietly talking to each other, that's when Thor noticed Sirius was wearing one of Loki's old sets of armor, which was surprising since Loki had always been a little greedy with his belongings, hated sharing, and was especially picky about his clothing, he had got angry at Thor once just for moving his helmet. It was one of the reasons he realized Harry must be close to Loki, for him to have given him his favorite dagger, and then a few other things clued Thor in on Harry being Loki's son, then the moment he saw Harry's eyes, Thor knew right then his suspicion was true.
Dumbledore seemed to be the only one who remembered Thor was there, the old wizard stood next to him and told Thor all about his favorite flavors of Berty Botts Ever Favor Beans, Thor had no idea what he was talking about but given what some of the flavors Dumbledore didn't like were. Thor wasn't too keen on finding out. It only took Harry ten minutes to shower, and when he resurfaced, Harry was freshly clean, and wearing hospital robes. Loki had him lie down on one of the beds, and he inspected his wounds, Thor noticed his leg was a little swollen, but Loki quickly fixed that with a wave of his hand, but he did not heal the wound on his leg, or the one on Harry's arm, but he did heal the bruise on his face when Madam Promfry asked if she could help, Loki said something about leaving them as evidence and requested some Dreamless Sleep Potion, which the nurse hurried away to get.
Once Loki was done examining Harry's wounds, Dumbledore asked Harry to tell him what happened in the cemetery, and though both Loki and Sirius voiced their disapproval of Harry reliving that event tonight, Harry told his story. Thor couldn't help but feel a big amount of respect towards his nephew he was brave for such a young age, and a true fighter. When he told about Voldemort's torture curse bouncing off his shield charm, and back at Voldemort Sirius laughed, and Thor saw a smirk on Loki's face, where an angry expression was there before.
Once Harry's tale was done, Dumbledore told him he admired his bravery, but if he so wished, he could go home in the morning and he would be excused from school for the rest of the year, but he did encourage Harry to see his friends before he left. Dumbledore then accepted Thor and the Avengers' offer to help and said he would find a place for them to meet once his school went on Summer break. Dumbledore gave them all permission to sleep in the infirmary for the night, and then left. Andromeda found a bed on the other side of the room and climbed into it, and Remus laid down on the bed that was on the left of Harry's.
Loki gave Harry the Deamless Sleep Potion that Madam Promfrey had left for him before she retired to her room, Harry drank it, then laid down, and Loki tucked him in.
"I just realized, Andromeda and Madam Promfrey weren't surprised to see you as Loki," Harry said.
"That's because they saw me like this earlier," Loki explained, "Your father and I thought it best to arrive from the cemetery with Cedric Diggory's body,by appearing in Dumbledore's office, and Sirius sent a patronus to fetch Dumbledore there and since it involved a fatal injury of a student, Madam Profrey was summons to accompany him."
"And Annie recognized my patronus and her, Tonks and Ted followed Dumbledore to his office fearing it was you killed," Sirius said.
"Where is Ted and Tonks?" Harry asked.
"They had to get back home, but Annie refused to go until she saw for herself you were okay," Sirius explained.
"What happened when you two returned here? With Schmidt and the Maximoffs, did you fight them?" Harry asked.
"No, the cowards had already fled before we arrived, what took us so long to collect you, was Dumbledore, and his never-ending questions," Sirius explained.
"How did you find me in the cemetery?" Harry asked.
"Your watch has tracking charms on it," Loki said, "Unfortunately it took me a while to pinpoint your location."
"How did you know I was even taken?" Harry asked.
"Your father was following you through the maze in his dog form," Loki answered, "Someone hit him from behind, and by the time he regained consciousness and found you, you were already disappearing with the portkey, he came and got me and we hurried to save you as fast as we could."
"My wand and glasses were left in the cemetery," Harry said.
"I have your wand," Loki said, "And we'll buy you new glasses, now, no more questions you need to rest."
"Okay," Harry replied, finally letting his eyes drop, and he soon fell asleep.
Loki signed and leaned against the wall. Thor was surprised to see he looked to be holding back tears and watched as Sirius went to him and laid his hand on Loki's back.
"You alright, baby?" Sirius asked, in a whisper, Loki nodded and then after a moment turned to face Sirius, and tried to give him a smile. "We are not going to lose Harry. We will win this war, then live happier ever after, or as close as we can get."
"And what of those who want me locked up or died?" Loki asked.
"They will be very disappointed," Sirius said, "Listen to me, Reigny, no one is going to tear our family apart, not Voldemort, not the Avengers, and certainly not Odin, and if no one will accept you here, well, earth and Asgard aren't the only realms on the Yggdrasil Tree, right?"
Loki did smile then and to Thor's surprise him and Sirius started kissing right there in front of him, and not just a small kiss either, and when it lingered. Thor turned away, feeling a bit uncomfortable, that was something else Loki never did on Asgard, he was never into showing affection to his partner in front of others, not even something as simple as holding hands.
"Come on, Reigny, I'm exhausted let's get some sleep," Sirius said, and Thor glanced back toward them to see Loki magically change his and Sirius's clothes to pajamas, and they lay in the bed on the right of Harry's, not even caring it barely fit both of them, they laid facing Harry, with Sirius snuggled to Loki's back, and his arm wrapped around Loki's waist.
Thor walked over and sat in the chair that was between Loki and Harry's beds, and decided he would stay up and watch over his nephew, his brother, and Sirius, he'd make sure no one woke them as they got their much-needed rest.
AN: I know Tony joked in the last chapter about Sirius being his new hero, but yet fought with him in this chapter, he was just having fun teasing Sirius and Loki, he finds them being together hilarious and just trying to put some humor into the serius situation. None of the Avengers asked why Sirius didn't tell them he knew Loki, because none of them are stupid, they figured the reason was because he was protecting Loki and the fact they had a son together, Natasha is upset with Sirius, and feels tricked by him and Remus, but I see her as someone who would wait until a better time to comfort him, more concerned with this new threat than her feelings. Though I may not show her comforting him, but it will be mentioned if I remember.
When Loki sent Harry to the Avengers he figured they would find out he had been hiding there on Earth and possibly even find out about the wizarding world, and maybe even have to fight to get Loki, but he didn't think of the possibility that Harry was his son, when he and Sirius appeared it was in time to hear Tony say he was curious, and Loki replied with the curiosity killed the cat.
