Chapter 11:

Aiden looks his opponent on, studying him, realizing this fight will be brutal, he orders his team to leave. Brie protests, but Brogues and Stevie, merely grab her and started running, the mission needed to come first, and besides, they heard that tone before, it's the tone Aiden uses when he is about to end someone.

"Who are you?" asked Aiden, the bandana muffling his voice.

The hooded man sneers at him. "You're death.". But that's not all he has to say. "Nirrti shall transform this planet, she'll attack your world, and the gods shall once again rule!".

Aiden was getting tired of this guy already, "Let's settle this!".

The hooded creature strikes first, sending Aiden against the grass, it strikes again, Aiden hits him in the gut with his shoulder, tackling him, the creature elbows him in the shoulder blade, Aiden loosens and gets kneed in the face.

Aiden jumps back up and pulls out his knife. Giving him the 'Come here' gesture with his finger. The creature, intrigued by the invitation, strikes. Aiden, swings and grabs the hood, slicing it off, getting the scare of his life.

The creature was human, IDENTICAL TO HIM!

"What? (Removes the bandana), how is this possible.".

The man, shocked as well, looks him over. "By the gods, who are you?".

"I am Aiden O'Neill.".

"And I am Kai, son of no one.".

"What?" Aiden didn't get it, how is he the son of no one? "Explain.".

"I was made by Nirrti. I don't know how, I was bred to be a weapon, but, with another looking like me, I fear the truth.".

"Well, believe it or not, I am not a human either, I was created by the Replicators, but not to be a weapon.".

Kai looks at him weird, "Then why were you made?".

Aiden slightly flushes, "The leader of the Replicators wanted to be a mother, so yeah.".

Kai, shivers, "So, you are half human?".

"Yeah.". He then sheaths his weapon, "You must understand, the Goa'uld aren't gods, their parasites that use humans as hosts. They pose as gods for their own greedy purposes.".

Kai, didn't believe him, "Lies!".

Aiden scowls, "Look at yourself! Explain how you and I are identical in looks?".

"I… I cannot.". Kai comes to think, what if he was lied to? Want if his god, wasn't a god? What if Nirrti merely made him for evil, and not good?

"Take me to your people, I must see this for myself, I must see the truth, that the Tau'ri aren't monsters.".
