Chapter 19:
"What do you mean that Kai is being contained?".
"The IOA refuses to let him be free, they wish to extract all of the information he possesses.".
Aiden clenched his fists, the IOA tried that shit on him, he had no choice, he had to tell his parents about him. "Get me to the SGC, ASAP.".
Thor blinks and transports them. Arriving in the SGC, he marches to isolation, where Kai is most likely kept. Without warning he kicks the door open. "Simmons, I should've known!".
(Not sure if he'll fit into the timeline, but hey, we need a supporting antagonist.)
"Lieutenant, what brings you here.".
"Why are you detaining my brother?" he used 'brother' for he hoped it could get Kai some leverage. But it backfired, "Brother, eh? Well, guess I'll finally be able to take you down.".
"Not on my watch." It was Hayes, Jack, Sam, Hammond, Daniel, Teal'c and Janet. "Kai, I grant you a presidential pardon.".
Kai smiles, "I don't know what presidential means, but I do understand pardon.". Getting up, he goes down on a knee and slams his fist on his chest, "I pledge my allegiance to your banner.".
Simmons got even more confused. "What just happened?". And leave it to Jack with one of his smart comments. "You got an ass kicking. Now get the hell of my base.". Simmons was escorted out. "Curse you all!".
The smirks on everyone's faces were too good to be true. Kai rises up again, "I wish to become a warrior for your people.".
Hayes then turned to the three generals, "What do you think? Flyboy or Jarhead.". Jack studies the copy of his son. "Hmm, I am thinking jarhead.".
"What's a jarhead?" asked Kai.
San Diego, Marine Training base. 2 weeks later.
"Alright boys! I am Sergeant Winter! I am your training officer! For the next 10 to 13 weeks, you are under my care, meaning I will not baby you, nurse you or comfort you, you keep up to Marine standards, or you walk, if you get smart, you shall deal with me! We're here to train for war! Am I clear!".
The recruits in unison, "Yes sir!".
Hmm, no mercy around here, Kai will do just fine.
Colorado Springs. Same time.
Yup, Aiden needed to get ready, as of orders, he needed to return to Atlantis to complete his deployment before he could receive new orders, Brie was going back, but since Brogues has time off overdue, he gets to stay, and see Mary.
Aiden had all his things; Oscar would be so happy to see him. Hugging little Grace, his parents, his aunt and uncles, shaking hands with Stevie, turns to leave, the press taking pictures rapidly, why is it, wherever he or the president goes, the press seems to follow.
Walking through the gate, Brie was still waiting. And she had Oscar at her side, Oscar jumps into his arms. Licking his owner's cheek. "Hey Osc! I missed you too.".
John, Rodney, Teyla, Ronon, Carson, Elizabeth, Jennifer, everyone was there to greet him. "Welcome back, kid." Lorne greets him. "Good to be back." Which isn't a lie, it was nice to be back, away from the press. In the place where he can, go anywhere he wants. "Well, back to my old life.".
