AN: I tried to roll for Muramasa, but that ended badly. The temptation for him is strong…but I must roll for Morgan! Good luck to those whose rolling for him.
Ch 9 Dursley's Downfall
Koyanskaya's eyes twitched, and her face was disgusted by the large woman drinking from the wine glass. 'To think this lard of a Human shared that glass with her pet.' She thought, looking at her fellow Servants.
Holmes and Caster Gil eyed the Alter Ego, sharing the same thought. However, there was another issue currently present with them…and that was the Piglet.
"Mum! I'm hungry, can we go now to McDonald's!?" Dudley asked, not caring if his voice was loud.
Petunia gently pets her Son, laughing at how 'adorable' her Son was. "I know my Diddy kins, but give us a second." She turns to the Shareholder and his…Wife. "My Diddy kins is always hungry, do forgive his little outburst."
"It's quite all right, Dursley-san," Mashu said, tolerating the young boy's rudeness. "I know raising a growing boy isn't easy." She commented.
'How dare this purple-haired freak said something like that to Diddy kins.' Petunia's eye twitched when she said raising Dudley wasn't easy. Raising him was like a gift sent by Heaven, she placed a fake smile and spoke. "Thank you, Mrs. Fujimaru. But Dudley is nothing like those other immature Children."
Caster Gil mentally scoffs, seeing how that horsewoman was blind to see what is really going on.
Vernon cleared his throat, starting with some small talk before going into business talk. "Mr. Fujimaru, my Son is attending Smeltings Academy and has top marks in his classes." The Walrus stated. "In fact, his grades are well above the other students he will make a fine director for Grunnings."
"I see, that's impressive," Ritsuka said, seeing through his lies. "We too have a Son, we recently adopted him and he's very intelligent, right Mashu?" He asked, playing the same game as him.
"Oh yes, he's a very active reader and very knowledgeable that when he's older he could take over Chaldea in the future." Mashu played along, though what she said was true. She has been at the Outpost recently and happened to see Harry either reading the books at the Library or talking to Moriarity after his lessons. "He's back at our home, he's not that ready to go out to this type of event."
"Mmm, so what exactly your Organization does?" Marge asked, raising her brow,
Ritsuka smiles, "Well…I can't delve into too much on what we do," He explains to the Family. "But what we do on the side job, we're a research Organization. We research the History and Mythology of many Cultures to learn more about our World. Even uncovering hidden secrets."
"We occasionally settle disputes that the United Nations requested upon us." Ritsuka explains to the group, "Mainly because we are located on a neutral landmass becoming a mediator of a sort."
"What a boring job," Dudley spoke out loud. "Researching sounds like what nerds would do. And talks with people?" Th piglet stated, glaring at Ritsuka and his Wife.
"I thought you were some big-shot secret agency or something!"
Vernon chuckles, patting his Son. "Boys can't help being boys, he's very sporty Dudley is and-"
Suddenly a phone call interrupted the conversation. Koyanskaya looked at the phone and checked on it. Her eyes widened when she saw the name. "Fujimaru, it's Mr. Quahog. He's finished with…that investigation." Her eyes gave a signal, indicating it was one of those top priorities.
"If you would excuse me, I need to take this call." Ritsuka apologized, nodding at Mashu before taking the phone from the Secretary.
"B-But the-" The Magus already left the room, taking the phone call in a private setting. Vernon and his Family sneered at Ritsuka for upright leaving their important meeting.
Outside the room, Ritsuka held the Phone to his ear and set up a small Bounded Field. "Samuel, report."
-ZZZ- He was heading to the outskirts of the Crystal Valley, based on the direction. -ZZZ- The director of the American Branch said. -ZZZ- I had the Mesoamerican Servants patrol that sector and increased border patrols there. -ZZZ-
-ZZZ- I also had the Brazilian Wizard Government and some Mages set up some Wards and Bounded Fields. If that criminal comes back there, we'll be the first to know.- ZZZ- The director of the American Branch informed the master of Chaldea. -ZZZ- That's all I have to report, director. -ZZZ-
Ritsuka nodded, a bit relieved that everything was handled. "That's great news, Samuel. Keep monitoring the Crystal Valley and keep a close eye on it."
Samuel nodded from the end of the Phone. -ZZZ- Of course, director. -ZZZ-
Once the Phone call ended, Ritsuka bit his thumb at the report. "Are you really trying to awaken it?" He growls, remembering the struggles in South America.
Back inside the room, during the talk with Samuel, Mashu continued the talks with Vernon and his Family about their long contract. In hindsight, as the Assistant director of Chaldea and Ritsuka's Wife; she is sniffing out any oddities behind the Durley's words.
Caster Gil was too involved, mainly discussing how much profit Grunnings Drills was making. Though Vernon elaborated on how they were able to sell a lot of Drills and accomplished many things, eventually spouted some lies about how the British Government requested some of their product.
Being the King of Uruk and Chaldea's Financial Agent, he knew that he was lying. Normally he would lash out and bombard this Mongrel with Spells but due to him being a Human, he can't, or his Contractor will face not just the Association but the UN as well.
Vernon smiles, continuing his talk. His eyes occasionally look at the exit, waiting to see if the Shareholder would return. 'Damn that Bastard, what's taking so long? I am the most important person here and he has the gall to leave right away?' He mentally growls. 'Who the hell he think he is!'
The Walrus looks over to his Sister, who also shares the same displeased mood as him with the master of Chaldea.
Soon enough, Ritsuka returned inside the room. "I do apologize for that, that was from one of our research team reporting on a pressing matter." Ritsuka fibs, turning to Holmes, Caster Gil, Koyanskaya, and Mashu.
"Ah, I'm afraid we must end our meeting abruptly due to the severity of the situation." Holmes stood up along with the others, "My master would appreciate it if we could reschedule this meeting for another day?"
The adult Dursleys were appealed by this sudden change of plans. Vernon stood from his seat, trying to prevent the Magus from leaving. "But this new contract is important! You can't just upright and leave!" He shouted.
"As I said, this is a pressing matter that I, the director of Chaldea, can't ignore," Ritsuka stated, glaring at Vernon with a stern and frighting face.
Vernon flinched, like a dog whimpering in fear. "H-How about this, Mr. Fujimaru." He said, still insistent to complete the new contract.
Ritsuka raised his eyebrow at the large Walrus, "Hmmm, why should we listen to a Mongrel such as you?" Caster Gil asked, getting annoyed with Vernon's cockiness.
"Hold on, Gil." Ritsuka held his hand to the Caster Servant. "Let's see what he's offering,"
The blonde Servant blinks, sensing an alternative motive for letting the man speak. "Oh? Now I see," Caster Gil smirks, seeing this isn't just about the small Company's shareholdings with Chaldea.
Vernon smiles, looking at his Wife who was beaming with pride for him preventing the Shareholder to leave. He cleared his throat and turns his attention back to the Chaldeans. "M-Mr. Fujimaru, i-it's obvious that you have something going on now."
Ritsuka waited patiently to see where this was heading. However, he knows what this Walrus of a man is trying to do. "What do you suggest, Mr. Dursley?"
"I-I was suggesting that since this is a private matter why not take this discussion to one of our homes?" Vernon asked the Magus of Chaldea.
Petunia darted her eyes at her Husband, panicking a bit. "H-Honey, t-the house isn't ready f-for guests." She explains to the man she married.
"Petunia, how many times do I have to tell you." Marge sighs, turning to her Sister-in-law. "One must be ready for anything."
The horsewoman nodded, "Yes, yes but everything was-"
Mashu smiles, having a solution for this problem. "How about we have the meeting at our home? We've got the room," The former Demi-Servant suggested to the group.
Vernon stood up, immediately agreeing with the Assistant director. "What an excellent idea Mrs. Fujimaru!" The Walrus exclaims, seeing this foolish girl has agreed to let them into their home.
If they were to get closer by having a normal conversation while having tea, then they could be integrated into high society.
"Then I shall make preparations," Koyanskaya looks over to her master, who already prepared beforehand. As expected from the one who saved Humanity countless times.
"Yes, of course. Then shall we meet the day after tomorrow?" The Walrus suggested, pushing the subject further.
Caster Gil's eye twitched, hearing this blob of a Human biting off more than he could chew.
Ritsuka chuckles, smiling at the family. "Sounds good to me," He turns to Koyanskaya, obliging to his answer. "Koyanskaya?"
"Very well, I shall set the date." The Secretary of Chaldea pulls up her master's calendar and set the date. "There, I've moved some less important things to the next day."
Ritsuka turns back to Vernon and his Family, "Then we'll be seeing you the day after tomorrow, Mr. Dursley."
Everyone stood up, following Ritsuka out of the room. "O-Of course, we'll see you then, Mr. Fujimaru," Vernon said hastily before being confronted by Koyanskaya.
The Fox taps a few things on her tablet before speaking to the Walrus. "I sent you the direction to the mansion we're currently residing in through your email," Koyanskaya informed the tubby man. "Please do read the email, I won't send another one-"
"Yes, yes, I understand madam Secretary," Vernon said, taking out his phone to check the email. "I know how to read an email."
Koyanskaya took her to leave, following her master through the doors.
Gilgamesh approached his master, wanting to ask him something. "Mongrel, can you explain why you're bringing lesser Mongrels to the British Outpost?" The King of Uruk asked his master.
"Simple," Ritsuka looks at the blonde Caster Servant, "This is a family matter, right Mashu?" He smiles brightly.
Mashu sighs, understanding what her Husband means. "Yes, Ritsuka." She looks forward, seeing a member of the Board of directors. "Ritsuka, there's a member of the Board." She points to the old man before them.
"Then let's talk to him."
The next day, Harry walks around the hallways of the Outpost. The woman with the blonde hair and headdress disappeared when he opened the door.
Currently, Harry doesn't have any tutoring sessions with his tutors. Draco or his Family wasn't around the Outpost, he'd asked one of the Staff about his friend's whereabouts and they responded they had an important meeting as Lords or something.
"Ah, Harry there you are." The young Boy turns around, hearing a familiar voice calling his name. "We were looking for you,"
Ritsuka and Mashu approached their Son as he looked at him. "WW-What is it, Ritsuka, Miss Mashu?" Harry asked politely,
"Harry-kun, there will be some guests coming over today," Mashu explains to the black-haired boy.
"Who's coming?" Harry asked his Adoptive Parents.
"Representatives from the Grunnings Company Party from the other day will be coming over," Ritsuka explains to the young boy, taking note of the terrified expression on his Son's face.
Mashu kneels next to her Husband, smiling at their Son. "Harry-kun, if you're still not up to it, then you can do whatever you want today." The former Demi-Servant said.
Harry nodded, agreeing with his Adoptive Mother. "Y-Yes, I would like that."
Ritsuka gazed upwards, seeing both a small violet-haired girl in a black hood and a pink-haired girl with a horn and wearing a wedding dress coming out of a room. "Ana! Fran!" He called out to his Servants.
The two Servants turned around, hearing their master call their names. "Yes, master?" Ana responded and approached him with the Berserker by her side.
"Uhhh…" Fran asked, looking at the young master next to them. "Ug…uhh, ah?" The Berserker assumed that they were taking his Son with them.
"Yes, Fran-san. We have some…important guests coming later," Mashu said to the Artificial Human girl. "Harry-kun isn't too keen on meeting these types of people."
Ana nodded, understanding what the former Demi-Servant is saying. "Yes, we understand Mashu."
Fran nodded, offering her hand to the young boy. "Ah, Ha." She spoke to the heir of Chaldea.
Harry looks at Ritsuka and Mashu, not sure what the pink-haired was saying. "Umm…w-what did, F-Fran say?" He asked the two.
Both Mashu and Ritsuka looked at each other before smiling. "Don't worry Harry, you'll learn to understand Fran soon." Ritsuka smiled,
"Ugh, Ha!" Fran tugged Harry's hand, ushering him to follow her.
"What Fran means, is that we're going to the flower gardens." Ana walked beside Harry and Fran, translating what the Berserker is saying for him. "We're going to pick some flowers to decorate the Outpost."
Harry smiled softly, finding that a bit fun. He'd enjoy gardening for his Aunt Petunia, mainly because he was able to be outside and alone. "T-That sounds fun."
"Have fun you three," Ritsuka waved the three off before someone stood behind him and his Wife. "Camaztoz, I thought you would be with the other South American Deities in guarding the Crystal Valley?"
Ritsuka and Mashu turn around, looking above the ceiling. Hanging from the ceiling was a dark-skinned Humanoid creature with wing-like appendages. He wore a silver headdress with red feathers and protruding from his mouth were fangs indicating his not Human.
"Greetings master, and master's mate." The Divine Spirit greeted the only Human he'd follow to the ends of the Earth. "I intended to follow the request made by that Human running the American Branch but since Tez's little army and the others are there, there's no need for my presence in the Valley."
"Besides, rumor has it that you adopted a little master to replace you when you bite the dust, master." Camaztoz grins, allowing his fangs to show. "And you know me when it comes to you and rumors."
Mashu cleared her throat, "And what you think of him, Camaztoz?"
Camaztoz giggled, seeing the Wizard boy for himself. "An interesting boy, unlike Tlaloc and Tezcatlipoca who doesn't believe that Child should be the next master of Humanity." He grins at the thought of the Wizards' Hero choosing Humanity over them. "I like to see what type of master you two will shape him to be."
Ritsuka chuckles, placing his hand on his side. "That you need to find out, Camaztoz."
Camaztoz climbs down from the ceiling, standing before his master. "I almost forgot, there seems to be a foreign car heading to the gates," The Divine Spirit informed the black-haired Magus. "Shall I get rid of it?"
"No, if you want you can see the spectacle of revenge then watch in Spirit Form, Camaztoz." Ritsuka walks to the lobby with Mashu following him.
Camaztoz's face twisted, liking the offer his master gave him. "Oh, you know me too well master!" He dematerializes and closely follows his master through the halls.
A car drove up the dirt road, approaching the large gate. "What the hell!? First is this damn road and this gate!?" Vernon cursed at the difficult journey they have make for this meeting. "First we have to go off-road from the highway then drive on a rocky path, now a freaking gate!?"
"Who the hell this Fujimaru guy is thinking!?" Vernon growls.
Dudley was in the back, vomiting from motion sickness during the journey. Marge was comforting him and rubbing his back to make him feel better, while Ripper was sitting on the car floor.
"Don't worry Vernon, once that Child signs the document we'll be rich and have someone to take advantage of," Petunia stated, thinking of a future filled with prosperity for her family.
Vernon grins before seeing a foreign man in foreign clothes. He sneers at the sight of a foreigner being here when honest and hard-working people are trying to make ends meet.
The foreigner approaches the driver's window, knocking on the glass. Vernon rolled down the window, allowing him to speak. "State your business, this is a private estate." Sasaki Kojiro asked the Walrus.
"We're here on an important meeting with director Fujimaru, so tell him that we're here and-"
"I see, master did say you were coming." Kojiro steps back, signaling the camera on the gates. "Let them in," The Assassin shouted, causing the gate to slowly open.
Kojiro turns to the vehicle next to him, "Just drive up to the path and park in the little patch of dirt on the right." The Assassin informed the people within the Security room.
Vernon smirks, driving inside the Chaldea British Outpost. The Dursleys were shocked to see how much land this Child owns, it was bigger than anything they'd seen.
The vehicle approached the large mansion, where a Priest and a woman with long black hair stood before the entrance. Vernon drove to the little patch of dirt that the blue-haired man said.
"So, those are the young master's relatives." Semiramis sneers at the Family of farm animals. "I could smell their foul stench from here,"
Amakusa smiles at his Partner, gently calming the Queen of Assyria. "Calm now, Semiramis. Master has a plan for this situation ever since he received information about those who took care of young Harry." The Ruler Servant stated,
The Queen of Assyria scoffs, sneering at the Family approaching the entrance. "Seeing them now, it makes me glad that master has taken that Child under his care," Semiramis commented before facing the Dursleys.
Amakusa steps forward, greeting the Family. "Welcome to the Chaldean Outpost. I am Shirou Kotomine, the host at this Mansion." He turns to Semiramis, standing next to him. "This here is my Wife, Allegra."
Semiramis inclined her head, "Welcome,"
Vernon puffs out his chest pridefully, "I am Vernon Dursley, the director of Grunnings Drills." The Walrus turns around to his Family. "With me is my Family,"
"A pleasure to meet you," Petunia followed up with her Husband's greeting.
Marge huffs with a smile, "A pleasure,"
Ripper sniffs the ground, looking for a spot to pee unbeknownst to Marge. When he approached Semiramis he growls at the Assassin.
Semiramis glared down at the Dog, causing him to whimper away.
Ripper quickly rush back to Marge, the fat woman noticed how terrified her precious puppy was. "Oh, my precious baby, what's the matter?" Marge coos to her Bulldog, picking him up in her arms.
Amakusa looks over to his former Servant, seeing how peeved she was when that Dog approached Semiramis. The Priest turns to the guests before them, "If you would, please follow us to the meeting room. Our master is waiting there,"
"Yes, yes, lead the way, good sir," Vernon said rudely, wanting this meeting done and over with.
Semiramis clicked her tongue, seeing how rude this man is. Both she and Amakusa led the Dursleys into the Mansion.
Once inside, the entire Durley was in utter shock by how ginormous the foray was. Not only that but many employees were going in and out of rooms. "W-What is this place!?" Vernon stutters,
"H-How are there so many people working in one place!" Vernon exclaims, never seeing a workplace such as this one.
"As I said, we're a research organization. Many of our Staff are Researchers and Historians researching the World and its History." The Dursleys turned around, seeing Ritsuka with the same people they met the other day.
Vernon cleared his throat, trying to be intimidating. "Mr. Fujimaru, it's nice to meet you again. I hope there's not going to be any more distractions during our meeting." The Walrus said promptly,
"Yes, the last meeting was such a waste of time," Marge spoke up, stroking her Dog in her arms. "I mean really, if you had the time to answer a call then you should have the time to speak to my Brother." The fat woman said, not caring for the daggers glaring at her.
Gilgamesh Caster clicked his tongue, hearing how a Mongrel such as himself speak to his Contractor. 'These Mongrels really want to die. Mongrel, when will due punishment be served?' The Caster asked through their mental connection.
'All in do time, Gil.' Ritsuka smirks before looking at the Dursleys.
"I can assure you, other matters regarding the Research team have been resolved," Holmes answered the Walrus woman, "Any further interruptions will be taken up by the Branch director here. Worry not, Mr. Dursley, your reason for being here shall be over quickly." The Detective said,
Vernon scoffs, crossing his arms. "I hope so for your own good, Mr. Fujimaru."
Koyanskaya cleared her throat, walking to the room on their right. "If pleasantries are finished, then shall we proceed to the meeting? Our Servants have prepared some refreshments for today," The Fox informed their guests.
"That sounds lovely, lead the way," Petunia stated as she and her Family followed the Chaldeans into the living room.
"Now, let's start off where we left off," Vernon said once they sat down on the soft sofa.
Ritsuka smiles, sitting next to his Wife. "Of course, now what was it we left off?"
"It's about the shareholdings, Ritsuka." Mashu reminded her Husband of their meeting.
"Right, let's get on our way." Ritsuka cleared his throat, "Now, the shareholdings from the previous…"
The talks went on, talking about their sales to customers and other contracted companies. To which is now a lot that Vernon could speak about.
Vernon opens his arms, trying to reason with Ritsuka. "Mr. Fujimaru, please be reasonable. The new contract we've set could make the Company rich if you would agree-"
"Mr. Dursley, Chaldea is a place where I strive for people to live productively," Ritsuka stated, already expecting a selfish motive behind the new contract. "What you're saying is that we exploit the people with not standardized tools for customers to use."
Gilgamesh nodded, "Considering that Chaldea is looking into their many shareholdings, I don't think this will meet our standards." The Caster stated, looking over the documents on their financing.
Vernon huffs, "Profit is all that matters, Mr. Fujimaru." The Walrus doesn't like how the talks were heading. "Mr. Fujimaru, there is no such thing as good quality. There's a saying in Grunnings, 'Use the weak to your adva-"
"Dad, I'm bored," Dudley whined, interrupting the talks between them.
Instead of scolding the boy, Vernon stopped their talks and turned his attention to his Son. "Dudley, don't worry we're almost done." Vernon ensured his Son,
'Done? We hardly made any progress at all.' Koyanskaya scoffs mentally, checking her schedule for any overdue meetings.
"But I'm bored! I WANNA GO NOW!" Dudley shouted, making a scene before the powerful people in the room. "I WANNA GO, I WANNA GO! I WANT TO GO!"
Petunia quickly patted her Son, comforting him while he was having his temper tantrum. "Now, now Diddykins, how about when we're done with this meeting we go to the toy store and buy you a new toy?" The Horse-woman said, basically rewarding his bad behavior.
Holmes looks over to Gil and Mashu, seeing this Woman was actually rewarding her Son. Wanting to spare them from any more of this, he proceeded to speak. "Mrs. Dursley, why not have your Son explore the first floor of this Outpost?" The Chaldean Advisor suggested,
"We have a library that is filled with many up-to-date books," Holmes added before another interrupts his statement.
"I've noticed you have a garden," Marge spoke up, causing everyone to look at her.
"Why yes, we do have a garden," Mashu answered the fat woman. "But right now it's being used by our Staff as a break area-"
"Nonsense, my Ripper needs to use the toilet right away." Marge stated, ignoring that it's a Staff Only area. "Come along, Dudders. Ripper needs his walk, do you want to walk him?" She asked.
Dudley nodded, getting up from the sofa. "Yeah!"
Both Marge and her Nephew quickly left the room, ignoring Mashu's attempts to stop them. Ritsuka rested his hand on Mashu's hands. "Don't worry, they're with him."
Mashu sighs, nodding to her Husband's insurance. "Right,"
"Now, about the Company's Shareholdings." Vernon quickly picked up where they left off.
Outside in the gardens, Harry shuts his eyes as Fran placed a flower crown on his head. "Ugh…ahh!" Fran smiled, approving of the colorations of flowers in the crown.
Harry blinks, noticing how the Berserker seems to approve of the flower crown he'd received. "Thank you, Miss Fran." The young Boy said, having a slight blush on his cheeks.
"Ahh, uhhh," The Berserker asked Harry about something, however, it was lost in translation.
The young Boy turns to Ana, carefully weaving the stems of the flowers together. "Miss Ana, what did Miss Fran say?" Harry asked the Divine Spirt for her translation.
The violet-haired Lancer looks up, hearing her master's Son's question. "Fran simply asked you to stop putting Miss into her name," Ana explains what Fran was saying. "On that note, you don't need to add Miss to my name too, Harry."
"Ahhh, ah." Fran continued talking to the young Wizard.
Harry looks at Ana for another translation, "She said that we're friends here, and friends don't need to use those titles." Ana said.
"Oh, okay Mi-I mean Fran." Harry smiled, using Fran's name instead of putting Miss into it. He saw that the Berserker smiled upon hearing her name.
Harry looks at Ana, also smiling at him. "Thank you for translating, Ana." He said,
Ana blushed, hiding her face under her hood. "I-It's not a problem, H-Harry."
The young Boy looks down at the flowers he'd gathered, having an idea on what to do. "Um, Ana, Fran can you teach me again how to make a-"
"IT'S THE FREAK!"
Harry's eyes widen, hearing a familiar voice. A voice that he'd thought he would never hear, then a familiar growl caused his fear to increase tenfold. Turning around, his fears came true.
