Snippet 32- Nep-Web-Cam 2

Timeline- Somewhere after Snippet 25.

*Planeptune Basilicom*

"Hey, what's up, peeps? It's me, your favorite CPU, Neptune!" Neptune greeted from her streaming PC. "So, today, we're gonna play a wrestling game, with a bit of a twist! See, this game allows you to make and customize your own characters, so today, I'm gonna show off some of my creations!" With that, she typed at the keyboard, her webcam suddenly replaced with a title screen that read 'GRAPPLEMANIA 2020'. The webcam then reappeared in the lower left corner.

"Okay, here we go! Load save file... alright, let's select 'Exhibition Match'!" And so she did, the game transitioning to the character select screen. Neptune then selected the 'custom fighters' option at the bottom, a list of creations popping up... "Okay, so except for the first one, which is yours truly, I used the default 'character_000x' desingation for these, so you're not spoiled until they come on stage! So let's start with me..." She selected 'Neptune', then 'character_0002'. "Alright, and... here we goooooo!"

A loading screen was shown for a few seconds, then the wrestling arena popped up with a cheering crowd. The in-game announcer then declared, "Entering the arena, from Planeptune City, Planeptune... THE SUPERSTAR!" A facsimile of Neptune herself danced onto the stage, making energetic motions and waving to the cheering crowds... "Yeah, I know the hair's even messier than usual, but you can only do so much, sometimes," Neptune apologized half-heartedly. "But hey, your hair's gonna get messed up in the ring anyway, so it works, right?! Whoops, here comes the challenger!"

The announcer exclaimed, "And now, the challenger, from Leanbox City, Leanbox... THE SUPERSTAR!" A huge musclewoman entered the stage, wearing a yellow muscle shirt and black shorts, her blonde hair done up in a ponytail!

*Meanwhile, in Leanbox*

"What the hell?! Is that ME?!" Peach Macintosh gasped in disbelief. "Oh, come on, Neptuna, I'm not that muscular!"

"She probably did it on purpose for entertainment value," her boyfriend Adrian pointed out.

"Well, I better win this match, then!" Peach grumbled.

*Back with Neptune*

"Oh, boy, I'm up against Big Peashy... and she's really been hitting the gym! I feel like I'm entering a hopeless boss fight!" the CPU lamented as her character and Peashy took their positions... The in-game bell rung, 'Peashy' immediately running and tackling 'Neptune' to the ground! "OUCH! Just like my P-ko in Ultradimension!" Neptune grimaced, watching as 'Peashy' then flipped her opponent backward and slammed her head into the canvas! "Come on, Neptune! Don't just get stomped!" She cheered her character on.

But alas, though 'Neptune' managed to get in a few good blows, 'Peashy' eventually managed to dump her opponent out of the ring, taking the win. "Aw, fish biscuits! Well, that's what I get for eating too much pudding," the real Neptune quipped, giggling as 'Peashy' made some funny muscleman poses. "I just hope Big Peashy isn't watching right now...!"

Chat: At least I kicked your butt, NEPTUNA

"Oh, snap! She is watching!" Neptune freaked, her eyes shrinking to white circles. "I'm sorry, Big Peashy! Please don't P-Tackle me for real!" She quickly hit the key to return to the character select screen. "(ahem) Well, anyway, moving on... let's do my next two custom characters!" The screen suddenly shifted back to webcam-only. "Ah, sorry, I just need to set this up right... just a sec... okay, there we go! Let's do this!" The game came back up, showing a loading screen...

"Now entering the arena, from Planeptune City, Planeptune... THE SUPERSTAR!" the in-game announcer exclaimed, a redhead with long twin-tails entering, wearing a business shirt with an orange tie and grey skirt, along with black fighting gloves and black boots!

"Hey, it's Uzume! I did a pretty rad job with her, don't you think?" Neptune commented as the on-screen Uzume Tennouboshi did a few jabs and a high kick, before proceeding to the ring... but then the screen went black save the webcam! "Whoa, what the nep...?!"

~One thing, one thing leads to anoooother~

"OBJECTION!"

The screen flashed back on, revealing a woman with light blue hair and what appeared to be horns sticking out of her head, wearing a blue business suit and glasses on her face!

~But it's easy to believe, somebody's been lyin' to me~

~But when the wrong word goes in the right ear, I know you've been lyin' to me~

"Holy pudding! Rei Ryghts?! Who the nep saw THIS coming?!" Neptune gasped in feigned shock, the on-screen Rei pointing at the audience, then thrusting a finger into the air, before heading to the ring herself. "Okay, dreamy punchy CPU versus final boss CPU! Who's gonna win this matchup? I have no idea!"

The in-game bell rung, 'Uzume' opening with a right hook to 'Rei's' face, before flipping her to the mat! 'Rei' rolled back to her feet, tackling 'Uzume' to the mat, then slugging her in the face a few times before the redhead bucked her off! "Wow, look, they're going all in! This could go either way!"

And so the match continued, neither CPU giving an inch... but in the end, it was 'Uzume' who finally managed to toss 'Rei' out of the ring, thrusting both arms upward in victory! "Ha ha, nice job Uzume! You sure showed that final boss-turned-lawyer!" Neptune cheered. "Seems like chat was mostly cheering for her to win anyway, so hey, pat yourselves on the back for pushing Uzume to victory!" She then returned to the character select... "Okay, let's mix things up a little! Time for a tag-team match with all four characters! Who do you think should pair up with who?"

Most of the chat posts said to pair 'Neptune' with 'Peashy', which meant 'Uzume' and 'Rei' would make up the other team... "Alrighty, this is what you wanted, just hope Rei an' Uzume can handle the giant Peashy...!" She giggled a bit as she started the match, each of the ladies coming out one-by-one, posing and performing for the audience before taking their position in a corner of the ring.

The bell rung, and the combatants lunged at each other... sadly, Neptune was thrown out by Uzume only 10-15 seconds into the match! "Geez, talk about embarrassing for yours truly!"

Chat: Histoire's gonna hear about this

Chat: Histy lecture incoming lmao

"Yeah, yeah, pour salt on the wound, why don't ya?" Neptune sighed. Fortunately 'Peashy' was holding her own quite well despite the 2-vs-1 disadvantage... she smacked 'Rei' with an uppercut, sending her to the mat, but then Uzume tackled her and started punching her in the head, only for 'Peashy' to buck her off, then flip her to the mat! 'Rei' managed to hit 'Peashy' with a dropkick, but the blonde rolled and came up on her feet, grabbing Uzume and suddenly hurling her out of the ring! "Oh crap, there went Uzume! Rei's on her own now!"

Fortunately 'Rei' showed no signs of giving up, dropping 'Peashy' with another drop kick, but was unable to take advantage. 'Peashy' then uppercut 'Rei' and sent her to the mat, then picked her up to try and hurl her out of the ring- but Rei got stuck on top of the rope! "Oh man, I'm on the edge of my seat! Is Rei in or out?" Neptune commented. However, 'Peashy' seemed confused by this, simply walking in circles... then 'Rei' fell back in! She managed to grab 'Peashy' from behind and slam her into the mat! 'Peashy' managed to stand up, but her opponent hit with right hook, then an uppercut, causing her to slam against the ropes! 'Rei' then bent down and grabbed 'Peashy's' feet, flipping her over and out of the ring!

(ding-ding-ding!) "Whoa, she did it! Talk about a come-from-behind victory!" Neptune gasped, the on-screen Rei pointing into the sky as the crowds cheered for her. "Looks like Rei Ryghts, Ace Attorney has pulled off another turnabout! Way to go!"

Chat: I totally woulda kicked her butt in real life, Neptuna

"Yeah, in her human form, maybe," Neptune sighed. "I think you'd get annihilated by her final boss form though..."

Chat: Tell Big Peasy I'm ready for a rematch anytime, Nepsy!

"In-game or in real life, Uzume?" Neptune snarked.

Chat: YES

Chat: You're on, Uzume!

Chat: Bet

"No no, no gambling on my stream! Don't make me bonk you, chat!" Neptune chastised. But alas, several superchats began to pour in, showing support for either Uzume or Peashy, with a few jokingly backing Rei Ryghts instead. "Ugh! Bonk, bonk, bonk! Histy, if you're watching, this wasn't my idea!" But the betting superchats continued unabated. "Okay, that's it, I gotta cut this stream short! See ya next time, same Nep-channel!"
