Ruby was done with some house chores around night, so she managed to get permission to go into the woods and check up on Sheele and Tatsumi, with her weapon included too.

As she approached, She saw Tatsumi crawling out of the river with the same heavy armor than before, meaning he was done training for the day.

"You two done for the day?" Ruby asked as she approached them.

"Yup." Tatsumi gave a thumbs up.

"Would you Like some too?" Sheele offered some bread for Ruby.

"Sure!" Ruby accepted "But is it safe to train all this way away from the hideout?"

"As long as we know how to return, it'll be okay." Sheele explained.

As Ruby helped Sheele to tear the bread into three pieces, Tatsumi began munching on his.

"Don't eat so fast." Sheele warned "But also be careful. If you're not paying attention_"

*SWIPE!*

...Ruby and Tatsumi just look dumbfounded as a bird flew down and took Sheeles bread from her hand and flew off...

"...Something...Like that...might happen..." Sheele finished in absolute disbelief.

"Yikes..." Ruby sighed before handing Sheele her own bread "Here. I'm not that hungry anyway so It's fine."

"A-Are you sure?" Sheele asked with a blush.

"Yeah! You can have it all!" Ruby smiled and offered her Bread to Sheele.

"Th-Thank you." Sheele nodded, and happily took the bread from Ruby. And her hand also came in contact with Ruby's fingers a bit, which made her blush more as she too the bread.

After eating up, They began to walk back with the moon high in the sky.

"Be careful while walking at night. These parts can be very rocky." Sheele warned.

"Don't worry, I'm used to walking around bumpy rides in the dark_"

"EEK!" Sheele then gasped as her leg was caught in one of the rocks.

"Whoa!" She then Bumped into Tatsumi and they both began to fall!

"OH CRAP!" ruby gasped as she managed to catch them both before they hit the ground "Phew...You both okay?"

"Y-yeah...Totally fine..." Tatsumi answered with a blush

"Y-Y-Y-Y-Yes..." Sheele answered, red as a tomato.

'TOO CLOSE!' They both thought at the same time, while Ruby carefully helped them to stand again.

"Was that a girl?!" Tatsumi gasped.

"Someone is in danger!" Sheele said.

"I'll go ahead!" Ruby said while the other two nodded, and Ruby dashed away with her Petal Burst.

"I-I...Thought you were taking me to the capital..." A lonely girl said with her back against a tree.

"Oh we are, But not for free~" A shorter man explained "riiiiight?"

"Yup." A taller and more muscular man answered "We're even teaching you not to trust everyone you mee_"

*WOOOSH!*

"AAH!" The bigger man yelled in pain as Ruby, With her hood over her head and her Scythe fully unfolded, slashes at one of his legs!

"W-What the_" The smaller man tried to pull out a knife, but Ruby was faster.

*SLICE!*

"AAAAH!" the smaller man yelled in pain "MY ARM! OH GOD MY ARM!"

"WHY YOU LITTLE SHI_" The bigger man tried to go for an axe on his back, but Ruby swung her Scythe again and took off every finger but his thumb from his hand "AAAAAAAH!"

The two man, wounded and with their hands either cut off or useless now, Stepped back and watched in horror at the Red Grimm Reaper before them.

"Buzz Off." Ruby angrily threatened "And If I find you doing this again, Your Genitals are next!"

"AAAAAAH!" both of them screamed and ran away into the woods.

ruby sighed before looking back at the girl, who seemed very confused.

'Tatsumi and Sheele should be here about a few seconds from now.' She thought to herself as she knelt down before the girl.

"Hi." She kindly greeted "You okay?"

"...Did...The hunters run away?" the girl asked, surprising Ruby "What...What is going on?"

"What...Wait..." Ruby looked closer into the girls eyes "...Are you...Blind?"

"...S-Sadly yes..." The girl answered.

"...Oh boy." Ruby sighed.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" Najenda yelled as she actually even used her Aura to punch Ruby straight into her head right to the floor!

"C-Can I please explain first?" Ruby pleaded while looking up with Cute cartoonish tears rolling down her eyes.

"DENIED!" Najenda prepared another punch!

"AAAAH She's BLIND!" Ruby panicked.

"...What?" Najenda held back the punch.

"Th-The girl We, No, I brought back is blind. And it was dangerous to leave her all to herself without help in the woods at night! " Ruby explained " We checked multiple times before coming here! So she doesn't know the way to our hideout. And we also covered her ears for safety. Leone checked her scent for anything suspicions and found nothing, and no one tailed us! It's all good right?"

"...UUUUUUGH!" Najenda growled "FINE! but bring another outsider in like that again and I will hang you by your own hood!"

"Um...When you say to not bring an outsider...does that mean ANY kind of outsider?" Ruby asked.

"YES!" Najenda yelled.

"Thank you so much..." The girl said while Leone and Lubbock brought some food for her with Bulat, Mine and Leone all present as well.

"No problem!" Leone said.

"Sorry I'm late." Ruby said as she entered.

"Ah! Is the nice lady from before here?" The girl asked, seemingly noticing that Ruby has entered the room.

"Yup. Right here." ruby answered as she entered the room "What gave it away?"

"W-Well...Your smell..." The girl answered "You smell like flowers. I know a lot of flower scents but...I've never smelled the kinds your carrying."

'...Oooooh...she must have never smelled or heard of roses then.' Ruby and everyone else present thought the same thing at the same time.

"Well that's a sharp nose you got there!" Ruby praised as she sat next to the girl "I'm Ruby! What's your name?"

"I'm Nea." The girl introduced herself "But...who may you all be?"

"We're Danger beast hunters." Lubbock lied "Now tell us, Where are you from?"

"I'm from the Enn village." Nea answered.

"Enn...It's far down south from here." Mine said.

"I wanted to visit my father who left the village to earn money in the capital." Nea answered.

"And those men who bothered you?" Sheele asked.

"They said they'll get me to the capital. But then..." Nea answered.

"I think we all know what happened next." Ruby spoke.

"But you shouldn't have gotten out of your village like that by yourself." Lubbock said.

"but...My father is all I have left now..." Nea sadly said.

"...Okay. If he's in the capital then you just give us a name and we'll find him pronto." Leone said.

"And I'm going to the capital tomorrow. Maybe we can look there by ourselves for a bit." Lubbock pointed out.

"...We better not." Sheele declined.

"...I guess you're right. Nea is too cute! More people like those two might show up again." Lubbock nodded.

"Until we can find your father you can stay right here with us for the night." Ruby said.

"I-Is it really alright? I-I don't have any money." Nea said.

"It's fine." Ruby gently grabbed Neas hand, as the blind girl could feel the warmth "If it means we can help you, then We'll do everything we can to help you find your father."

"What she said." Bulat finally spoke up "You've got nothin' to worry about!"

"Th-Thank you so much!" Nea said with a blush.

"But that leaves who's gonna take are of her." Bulat pointed out.

"...Well I brought her here, So It falls to me in a way." Ruby pointed out.

"I guess you're right." bulat nodded.

"I also Volunteer!" Sheele raised her hand too "I was there when we brought her here, so it falls onto me as well!"

"If you say so." Bulat agreed.

"Uh...I-If that's what you want then it's fine with me." Mine huffed.

"Awww you do have a heart~" Ruby teased while Mine hissed like a cat.

"We'll leave her in your care then." Bulat said to Sheele and Ruby.

"Since you'll be here for a while, Let us show you around!" Sheele said while helping Nea walk with Ruby walking beside them both.

"Um, If there is anything to do, I'm willing to help." Nea said.

Sheele only smiled and patted Neas head "Let's just take it nice and easy, okay?"

Nea smiled at her kindness.

"But really, If there is anything to do, I really would like to help!" Nea said again "I can cook and do the laundry and some more house chores!"

"SH-SHE CAN DO MORE THAN I CAN!" Sheele gasped with a devastated look.

"Hey that's not true." Ruby pointed out "You can still teach well! Remember?"

"...OOOOOh...I forgot..." Sheele said which caused Ruby to giggle.

"Aaaaaah~~~" All three girls sighed in bliss as they sat down in the hot baths next to each other.

"Now this is great~" Ruby said as she relaxed into the water '...I'm Glad Nea doesn't have to see these dumb scars.'

"I'm sorry you both had to take care of me all night." Nea said.

"Oh it's fine." Sheele said.

"Really it's okay. You're not slowing us down or anything." Ruby said.

"I know...I just wish I could move around more freely like before, even tho I've been blind for two years now." Nea said.

"Your blindness...Is it because of a disease?" Sheele asked.

"No...after my father left for the capital...some one robbed our house. My mother tried to stop him, but he stabbed and killed her. I was gravely wounded too and lost my sight next." Nea explained to a horrified Ruby and an enraged Sheele "That's why my father is all I have left now. And I wanted to tell him what happened to mother...But...I was almost sold off as a slave at one point...then today those two men almost..."

"Nea..." Sheele said as she held Nea close.

But Ruby leans closer and hugs the younger girl "It's okay. We won't let anyone hurt you again until we find your father."

Nea blushed a little at her kindness before hugging Ruby back closely "...Miss Ruby...You really smell good...what flower is it?"

"...It's called Roses." Ruby explained "They're red, Beautiful and smell nice. But they also have thorns too."

"Oh...Then, You must be the biggest Rose flower ever, miss Ruby." Nea said with a smile.

"Heheheh...Oh you have no idea." Ruby chuckled while Sheele joined the hug too.

While Sheele was preparing the Bed, Ruby walked in with her pillow and in her PJs.

"Um...Ruby...A-Are you sure you want to sleep in the same bed with us?" Sheele asked.

"Yeah! It'll be like a slumber party!" Ruby nodded.

"It would be very nice!" Nea agreed.

"O-Okay..." Sheele nodded as she hid her blush 'O-Okay Sheele...Don't get any indecent thoughts...You and the girl that...you may or may not like are sleeping in the same b-b-b-b-bed...W-WITH NEA! YES! With Nea! So it's fine!'

"You okay?" Ruby asked Sheele.

"Yes! totally fine." Sheele nodded.

and so, all three of them lay in the bed with Nea in the middle, The blanket fully covering the three girls.

While Nea quickly fell asleep peacefully, Ruby stayed awake and just looks at Neas sleeping face with a smile. She even held Neas hand in her sleep

"You seem very happy." Sheele pointed out.

"I just like to save lives other than take them I guess." Ruby said.

"Eheh. I guess you're right. It feels much better like this." Sheele agreed "And It's also much better when you smile."

"You think so?" Ruby asked.

"Yes. I don't know why, but everytime you're happy or smiling, it somehow brings happiness to everyone around you." Sheele explained.

"Heh, Yeah I kinda do that unintentionally sometimes." ruby chuckled.

"But it's actually a good thing. People like Nea really need that kind of happiness." Sheele said.

"Well she's a kid so..." Ruby pointed out.

"...Ruby..." Sheele began to speak again "...I...I wanted to tell you something..."

"What is it?" Ruby asked.

"...Um...S-sleep well!" Sheele said with a blush.

"...You too." Ruby smiled kindly.

Sheele only blushed more as she saw this much kindness from her. So she faced upwards on the bed and tried to finally fall asleep.

"Hey guys! Good news!" Lubbock runs in "We found Neas father!"

Ruby, Sheele and Nea herself who were in the kitchen hear this and are surprised and happy about it!

"H-How is he doing?! Is he okay?!" Nea asked.

"He's working under a carpenter! We can take you there this afternoon!" Lubbock assured.

"I...I finally found my Father..." Nea said happily "YAY!"

She then hugged Sheele and Ruby as the two happy hug back.

"Awww I'm the one who should get a hug." Lubbock grumbled.

"Um...Miss Ruby? Miss Sheele?" Nea then broke the hug "A-After I finally go to my father...Can you come visit again?"

"...I'm sorry. I can't do that." Sheele answered.

"We're hunters. When seasons change we need to move out elsewhere for other pray." Bulat said.

"...Oh." Nea seemed very sad.

"...I can come visit sometimes tho." Ruby suddenly spoke up "I'm...kinda freelance on this hunting job, So I sometimes leave and come back randomly. So I might be able to get some free time for that!"

"R-Really?" Nea happily asked.

"IF I find free time. remember." Ruby reminded.

"YAY!" Nea happily cheered while the others just gave Ruby a 'You shouldn't have done that' look.

...Which in turn Ruby gave them a 'It'll be fine' look in return.

"You excited?" Ruby asked while holding Neas hand.

"Yes. Very much!" Nea nodded "I can finally get to visit my father again!"

'Lubbock said he'll meet us around this street a little further up.' Ruby reminded herself 'after that, Nea can finally be with her father.'

"...Miss Ruby?" Nea spoke up "Thank you so much for everything."

"Sure." Ruby said "But remember, don't tell ANYONE what happened back in the forest okay? It might get the attention of the wrong people to not just me, but to you too."

"Got it! My lips Are sealed!" Nea cutely promised.

"...I think that's him." Ruby said as he saw a man waiting by a bookstore "...Ready Nea?"

"Yes." Nea nodded.

As she took a deep breath, she led Nea to the man "Excuse me?" The man looks over to her "I believe I have someone you've been waiting here for."

"...N-nea?" The man said in awe.

"...Daddy..." Nea said with tears of joy as she heard her fathers voice.

After they said their goodbyes, Ruby began to walk away through the crowd, happy for Nea and her father.

"Another job well done." Ruby nodded to herself "...That being said,"

She then went into an Alleyway, and used her semblance to dash up a wall onto a rooftop.

She then looks down...on the same Orphanage she brought the Slave children to from her first assassination job.

Looking down, she smiles as she sees the children all happy and dressed properly now, playing with the other children of the orphanage with the caretakers happily watching.

She smiled at how happy they seemed, Glad to know she can still make people laugh and smile despite being an assassin now.

"Whatcha dooooin'?~~~"

"KYA!" Ruby gasped as she jolted around, seeing Leone with her Lion features right behind her now "L-Leone!? What are you_"

"I followed you to make sure you don't get attacked or followed." Leone answered "Sorry! Couldn't help my paranoia."

"Also!" She then looks past Ruby to the orphanage "Those kids you saved sure look happy!"

"I walk past this Orphanage a lot some times." Leone explains "And one day, Look and behold, There were some more kids just suddenly there! And I also could smell the faint scent of Roses on them. They also had bruises on their necks, wrists and ankles which were signs of slavery chains. It didn't take too long to figure the whole thing out."

"...Wow, I never pinned you for a detective." Ruby said with fascination.

"Hey don't worry! Your secret is safe with me." Leone promised "But only if you promise to not do that again. you might get caught if you try something like that."

"Alsoooooo...We miiiiiight have a problem." Leone said "About Nea and her Father. They might be in danger now."

"...WHAT!?" Ruby yelled "WHAT HAPPENED THIS TIME?!"

"hehehe...We can do the girl before we kill them right?" A man asked, while three of them were before Nea and her fathers house at midnight.

"Yeah! Let's do it right infront of her daddy!" Another man agreed.

They went for the handle,

...Only for it to totally come off.

"W-W-What?" He mumbled as he sees his arm being gone "M-MY AR_"

But then, a kick came and launched him at his friends, sending them all away from the house.

"Wh-Who the hell!?" One of them gasped.

And they saw a Blonde girl with revealing clothes and lion features, along side another younger girl with a red hood and a giant bloody Scythe, looking like death itself stand before them.

"We're garbage collectors." Leone smirked.

"And you bastards are dog trash." Ruby glared with her hood shadowing most of her face.

"And when I saw our target get shocked by Nea in the street, He hired those thugs to kill her and her father." Leone explained.

"So Nea was also a victim of Tontos misdeeds in the past too." Najenda guessed.

"...He was the one that robbed her house, killed her mother and blinded her." Ruby said with anger "How else could he recognize Nea or would want her dead?"

"He's totally guilty. Let's take him out." Leone said.

"Since he is only one man, then we don't have to send the whole team after him." Najenda decided "...Ruby, Since you seemed to be better now, You can go with Sheele. Kill the scumbag."

"Got it." Both Sheele and Ruby nodded.

"ugh. damn it. Those thugs haven't come back yet." The man Named Tonto grunted in anger as he chugged a bottle of alcohol "They ran off with my money didn't they!?"

he stomped his fist on the table

"Damn it... I'm an Honest man now. All I've been doing is living a clean life. So why..." He grunted "WHY IS MY PAST COMING TO HAUNT ME?! I MADE UP FOR THEM ALL RIGHT?!"

Tonto then gasped in shock as someone crashed through his window, and lands down on his table right infront of him!

He fell back on the floor in shock. and when he looked up...he saw a Red Grimm Reaper with her Scythe, standing right over him. Her face was shadowed by her red hood, but He could feel the deadly glare that was burning a hole into his very soul.

"No. You're NOT forgiven." Ruby spoke as Tonto gets terrified "Because you neglected to apologize to that Girl, And to everyone else you've hurt before."

"A-A-AAAAAAAHH!!!!" Tonto screamed as he tried to run to the door, But Sheele was already there, Blocking his escape route.

"STAY AWAY!!!" He yelled as he ran to his booxkshelf, and pulled out a gun from inside it.

*BLANG!*

But Ruby fired a bullet at his gun, completely destroying his weapon and hurting his wrist in the process.

"W-WAIT!! PLEASE!! DON'T_"

*SLICE*

"AAAAAAH!!!" He then panics as Sheele cuts his eyes out with her Scissors "MY EYES!!"

"how does it feel, me, Tonto?" Sheele asked while all he could see was darkness "Can you see me?"

"That little girl had to endure this kind of darkness for 2 years." Rubies voice was heard next "And instead of making the roght choice and apologize to her and her father...you sent scumbags to kill them."

"I-I'M SORRY!!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!!" Tonto begged, trying to find a way out.

"...Then you should have begged those words toward Nea." Ruby finished.

*SLICE!!!*

And Sheele cuts him right in half from his torso.

"No matter how many good deeds you do, It won't matter unless you truly make up for your past sins." Sheele finished and wipes the blood of her Teigu.

"They're having a picnic?" Sheele asked while tatsumi, Ruby and Mine all watch from a distance as Nea and her Father were fishing by a river.

"Yeah. He seems to be struggling to keep up a good living environment for Nea because of her blindness, But all and all, They're doing great as a family." Mine explained.

"... I'm Glad." Sheele sighed in relief.

"You can still meet her after the country changes." Tatsumi said.

"...About that..." Sheele then faces all of them "There's something I wanted to tell you all. If...No, When the country changes...I-I want to start my own School!"

"...Eh??" Mine was dumbfounded.

"EEEEEK Really?!" Ruby asked in excitement.

"Y-Yes...and...I-d very appreciat it if you all help me in building it." Sheele said "Because...I doubt I can make a school All by myself without Destroying it all."

"Sure! We'll help out in any way we can." Tatsumi assured.

"You just leave that to us once the empire is gone!" Ruby cheered.

"U-Um...Sure! whatever! We'll help!" Mine said with a small blush.

"Oh you guys!" Sheele then hugged all three of them "Thank you so much!"

They smiled as they happily hugged back.

...All the while, Nea could still feel the Scent of Roses in the air.
