"...You...You're...Ruby Rose..." Hazel said in shock.
"Ruby, Who is this man?" Bulat asked "Is he from your Country too?"
"Uh, Y-Yeah But...I..." Ruby stuttered "...I thought he died...i-in an explosion."
"Hazel, Can I trust you to deal with the Red Reaper?" Liver questioned.
"...Yeah..." Hazel Nodded.
"...I can handle him. You two focus on the last ones." Ruby said.
"Well then," Liver said, removing one of his gloves to reveal a silver ring with a dragon head on it "Shall we start?"
'...I need to be alone with him.' Ruby thought as she Petal bursts right at Hazel! He tried to punch her away but She dodged and ingulfed him into her semblance, and flew up toward the Ships roof on the highest deck!
She landed and Hazel ended up rolling a bit before jumping back up!
"...How...Did you get here?" Ruby questioned Hazel, As they both were alone.
"Does it matter?" Hazel said as he launched forward and tried to punch Ruby straight in her face!
"W-WAIT!" Ruby gasped as she dodged and jumped back "I-I don't want to fight you! I just want to talk! How did you get here?! H-How long have you been here?!"
"...About 2 years now." Hazel answered "Let me guess, You just woke up in the middle of nowhere in this world too?"
"...Y-Yeah..." Ruby nodded "...After dying..."
"That checks out." Hazel said.
"...Why are you with them?" Ruby asked the important question.
"Why should I even tell you anything?" Hazel said, Taking his stance "We're enemies."
"Ca-Can't you see what they're doing?!" Ruby asked "The Empire is KILLING People! They Torture and exploit them like their lives don't even matter! Can't you see that?!"
"...Don't tell me you actually care about this worlds." Hazel said.
"W-What?" Ruby asked.
"This isn't my world. I don't know anyone here. And No one is remotely related to me in this world." Hazel said "So, Why should I care what happens to the people of this world? Give me a good reason for that."
"...How...Can you say that?" Ruby asked in disbelief "Can't you see that this worlds people have Feelings? They have families and souls?! Something they're ready to die for?!"
"I admit, It's no different than back then in Remnant. But This, Isn't remnant." Hazel pointed out "Why should I worry or fight for a world that isn't mine? Or even bother to care about another war this time, Is doomed to end up with both sides dead? I very much don't see any Value in fighting for a world that I barely even know."
"So you decided to make it worse?! by working for the Empire?!" Ruby asked in anger.
"That...is a different matter." Hazel began to explain "Have you heard of General Esdeath?"
"...Yes." Ruby nodded.
"...About a year ago, I was attacked by a horde of these Danger beasts that inhabit this world. I was outnumbered and outmatched...Until Esdeath Showed up." Hazel explained "She took those monsters out before I even realized it. That put me in debt to her. So...I agreed to be her Servant for a short while to clear my debt."
"...Even if it means killing innocent people?" Ruby asked.
"Again, this world's problems do not concern me. Besides, this is my last mission for Her. After this job is done, she agrees that we'd be even and I can just leave." Hazel explained "And this pointless war of theirs won't be my problem anymore."
"So you're just choosing to ignore what the Empire is doing. Close your eyes and pretend that you don't see what's happening Infront of you." Ruby coldly stated "Your sister must be VERY proud of you."
"...And that's where you're wrong. Again." Hazel said "My sister died Back on Remnant. Not here. Why should I even worry about a broken, primitive and foolish world that She didn't even know of?"
"...It's not too late. Just walk away and don't ever come back again." Ruby said.
"...But you and your friends all saw my face. And you know who I am." Hazel stated "I'm not leaving any loose ends."
"...Fine...If that's how you want it..." Ruby then spins Crescent Rose around and holds it tightly in her hands "Then don't expect me to play nice."
As Liver and Bulat battle, The youngest member of Liver and Hazels team, Nyau(A.K.A KILL IT WITH FIRE) Managed to dug himself out of the boxes bulat punched him into.
'Damn...this guy is almost...no, is slightly close to Master Esdeaths strength.' He thought as he watched Bulat deflect Livers water attacks 'I have to back Liver up or he won't_'
"NO YOU DON'T!" Tatsumi yelled as he slashed his sword down onto Nyau, Who used his Flute to block but was pushed down onto one knee thanks to what little Aura Tatsumi had left!
"Grrr!" Nyau Grunted "What's...Up with this freak?! Why is he...this strong?!"
"HYA!" Tatsumi then amped his Aura into his weapon and Arms to launch Nyau away a little!
"Damn...You're really annoying me!" Nyau yelled as he dashed forward At Tatsumi!
Tatsumi swings his sword at him which he dodged and strikes Tatsumi's Back!
"OW!" Tatsumi yelled in pain, and didn't even budge all that much all to Nyau's Horror, Right as Tatsumi's Eyes turn White again "That HURT YOU LITTLE SHIT!"
He swung again, Making Nyau to Block with his flute again, but the strength behind Tatsumi's swing with his aura launched him toward one of the wooden walls!
"GAH!" Nyau yelled in pain as a little bit of Blood splatters out of his mouth.
"W-Whoa..." Tatsumi gasped as he looks into the Reflection of his eyes in his sword, seeing as they turn from White back to their original Green again "Th-There it was again! Does it...activate when I get hurt? Or when I get pissed off?"
"Damn brat!" Nyau yelled in anger as he got back up.
"Uh, brat? Sorry but you're younger than me pal." Tatsumi Mocked.
"DON'T YOU JOKE AROUND WITH ME!" Nyau yelled as he dashed forward at Tatsumi!
The two Began attacking and deflecting each other rapidly, With Tatsumi's Remaining Aura slowly overpowering Nyau easily!
"HAH! RUBY'S FASTER THAN YOU!" Tatsumi Mocked!
"You mean the Red Reaper?! Don't Compare me to some half-pint assassin!" Nyau yelled back!
"I! MEAN! THAT!" Tatsumi then out speeds Nyau and manages to Deliver a shallow graze onto Nyau's Stomach "LITERALLY!"
"AH!" Nyau Panics as he jumps back, holding his graze seeing that he almost died.
"I've sparred with her and she attacks A LOT FASTER THAN YOU!" Tatsumi said "It's as if you're moving in slow motion to me compared to her!...M-Minus the fact that she had a bigger weapon..."
"GOD DAMN LITTLE_" Nyau Dashed forward, But Tatsumi just slashes his Sword up with his Aura again, and Sends Nyau back flying as he blocked again!
'...Jeez...Now that I think about it more clearly...Fighting someone that doesn't have aura like the others or that Hazel dude seems almost Unfair.' Tatsumi thought as he watches Nyau get back up 'It's like I'm kicking an already dying dog.'

"Eh?" Tatsumi looks back to Liver and Bulat...and sees the former General forming a cobra like Water dragon from the sea water!
"WHOAA-HOA-HOLY CRAP!" He gasped "Things are REALLY getting messy over there!"

"Gotcha!" Nyau yelled as he used this moment of distraction to hit Tatsumi in the back of the head with his Flute!
"OOW!" Tatsumi yelled in pain...only to look back at Nyau "STOP HITTING ME WHEN I HAVE MY AURA ON! IT HURTS LIKE HELL DAMN IT!"
"Wh-Wha...How...are you still standing after-Wait, Aura?" Nyau gasped "the hell is that?!"
"...Aw crap. Now I REALLY gotta kill you if you heard me say tha_"

"U-Uh oh." Tatsumi gasped as he realizes the gray glow around his body meant that his Aura was almost out.
"WHA-WHY DID YOU SLIGHTLY GLOW JUST NOW?!" Nyau gasped.
"OH SHADDAP!" Tatsumi attacked the younger child again, Making sure not to use too much Aura this time 'I gotta lower my aura Usage or I'll run out before The fight is over!'
Ruby slashes Crescent Rose at Hazel who managed to dodge, Only to Follow up with a kick to his chin and a back flip to gain some distance!
"...You're a lot better than I remember." Hazel said "Should have seen that coming."
"You've seen NOTHING yet." Ruby said as she used her Semblance to Rapidly dash all around Hazel at high speed.
She struck and slashed at Hazel, as the giant of a man couldn't keep up with her speed and skills!
'His Semblance could make him not feel pain.' Ruby Reminded herself 'If I wear him down and run his Aura out, I can take him out easier!'
'When did she get this strong?!' Hazel thought to himself 'Last time I saw her she could barely put up a fight like this.'
"HYA!" Ruby then kicked Hael straight into his Abdomen!
Hazel, not even fazed, quickly Grabs onto Ruby's leg! but Before he could slam her down as hard as he could, She used her semblance to split into three petal bursts and speed all around Hazel, Confusing him greatly.
As Ruby's Semblance parts come back together right above Hazel and Swung Her Scythe down again, Damaging his Aura!
He didn't feel any pain, but the impact and the speed of the attack caused him to stumble a bit.
"...You've gotten better since the last time I saw you." Hazel said.
"Because I've learned that being a pacifist won't work." Ruby said "Last chance. Leave this ship and walk away and never show yourself again, Or I WILL kill you."
"I've come too far to just walk away." Hazel said "And I won't risk letting you or your friends come back after me."
"That's your own fault for siding with the empire!" Ruby yelled in anger as she dashed forward again, As the two attacked each other and dodged or blocked.
"I'm only repaying my debt to Esdeath!" Hazel kept justifying his crimes "And after I'm done on this ship with you and your friends, She, The Empire and you and your rebellion won't be my problem anymore!"
"HOW CAN YOU JUST NOT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE HERE?!" Ruby angrily yelled as she attacked even faster.
"FOR THE LAST TIME! BECAUSE THIS ISN'T EVEN MY WORLD!" Hazel repeated his answer as he managed to grab Ruby by her neck, and quickly slammed her into the ground before she uses her Semblance to escape again "The only one that's being foolish is YOU! Why would you care for a world that ISN'T EVEN YOURS?!"
"Because it's better than to just ignore it!" Ruby said as she used her Semblance to escape his grip and dash right behind him, Only for Hazel to have predicted it and managed to attack in time to punch Ruby back!
Ruby fell and rolled back a bit, but she jumped right back up.
"You didn't even bother to get to know anyone here!" Ruby kept yelling "Who are you to say their lives shouldn't matter to the two of us just because we're not from the same world!"
"Because THEY'RE NOT LIKE US!" Hazel yelled as he rushed forward and tried to uppercut Ruby, as she just dodged it "This is filled up with nothing but Primitive Animals that only think about themselves!"
"You're wrong!" Ruby yelled back as she tried to attack, Only for Hazel to Block and punch her in the gut!
"Once this war is over, the winning side will tear themselves apart right after! It won't matter how long it'll take, whoever wins will just lead this godforsaken Country into ruin eventually!" Hazel kept talking as he stumped right toward Ruby "You're just fighting for a country that will eventually rip itself apart because of its own greed, lust and pride!"
"YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!" Ruby yelled as she tried to attack again, only for Hazel to catch her Scythe and lift her up, before headbutting her and kicked her away!
"Just wait. When your side somehow wins, your bosses will eventually destroy each other." Hazel said as he walked toward Ruby as she struggled to get back up "You're just fighting for a lost cause. If you were smart you'd just leave and forget all about this war. Unlike Remnant, This world fuels on bloodshed and war. And you won't stop that."
"..." ruby remained silent, as she managed to fully stand back up "...That's your problem...You didn't even put in the effort to even know anyone that's worth fighting for in here."
She held Crescent Rose tight in her hand "...You didn't even bother knowing how they feel, how they love and like, what they cherish or hate, What they're willing to do...You just looked at them like they're not Human or even Faunus. You don't have any right to just think their lives are far below yours."
She held Her Scythe up, ready to dash forward again "And If you're really not gonna change your mind about this...Then You're really better off dead."
"I'd like to see you manage that." Hazel said as he stepped forward "You're barely even standing right now."
"Well, I wasn't putting my back to it." Ruby said "But you forced my hand now!"
And then, As if she was now faster, she kept dashing back and forth around Hazel and slashing her weapon at him repeatedly without mercy!
Hazel kept tanking the hits with his Aura, until He managed to catch her weapon again!
but this time, ruby jumped and spins around on her Scythe and kicked Hazel in the throat!
His Aura and Semblance did protect him, but the kick slightly caused the air to get halted in his throat and Hazel did give a cough as he let go of the Scythe as Ruby attacked him again as he was staggered!
He then tried to attack again, but Ruby dashed behind him and slammed her Scythes blunt side at the back of his knees, and caused him to drop down on his knees!
She then placed Crescent Roses blade right under his throat, making him to stop it with his bare hands before it slashes at his neck and possibly breaking through his aura and decapitating him.
"Your Semblance makes you Immune to Pain. But Your body is still weak if it gets hit in the right places." Ruby said with a cold tone, as Hazel yelled and pushed the Blade off his neck but Ruby then Slammed her knee into the back of his head!
He got angry and swung the back of his fist at Ruby, as she Docked under his attack. He then slammed his other fist down on Ruby which she still dodged, and before she dashes away, she picked up a fist full of wooden chucks of the hole hazel punched into the Ships ceiling.
She then Dashes away and watches Hazel charged at her. After a few dodges, Hazel tries to slam both of his fists down on Ruby, but she then threw all the broken Wooden pieces she was hiding straight into Hazels face!
"GAAH!" Hazel yelled as some of the sharper parts either went onto his mouth, or were slightly stabbed into his eyes.
"What? You thought I was going to do this fair?" He heard Ruby's voice as he tried to open his eyes back up as he spat out wood "I already told you once: Don't expect me to play nice!"
And so, As Hazel couldn't even see properly, Ruby began to Attack him faster and much stronger, making him yell or grunt as he finally started to feel some pain as his Aura died down, With his Semblance slowly losing effect.
He finally wiped all the sharp broken chucks of wood out of his face and looked up...only to see that Ruby was now gone.
"You see Hazel." Ruby spoke up, casually standing behind him "Funny thing about choosing to stay arrogant is, You let it consume you. And soon enough,"
"HAA!" Hazel swung his fist around, only to find Ruby gone again.
"You'll lose sight of EVERYTHING." her voice came from behind again.
"GAH!" He swung around only to find her gone yet again! But then he realized that she just docked right under his fist!
then, she shot both her legs up and kicked him straight in the fast, Sending him tripping on his back!
*SSSSSSS*
And His Aura fully vanished away.
"Grr...Damn it..." Hazel grunted as he managed to get up on one knee, but then stopped when Ruby aimed straight at him with her Weapon.
"Game Over." Ruby said.
"...Go on. Do it." Hazel Dared.
"Don't threaten me with a good time." Ruby coldly said as she aimed right at his head "But no. You don't deserve a quick death."
"What?" Hazel asked, as he noticed Ruby slowly move her aim away from his head to one of his legs.
*BLANG!*
"GAAH!" Hazel yelled in pain as Ruby shot one of his thighs.
"Ever since you died, I did learn a few more things." Ruby spoke in a dark tone "One of them being for not just this world but EVERY other world."
*BLANG!*
"AAGH!" Hazel yelled in pain again, Another bullet straight into his other thigh.
"And that one thing is...Every world needs people in charge, who are willing to PUT THE ANIMALS DOWN."

"AAAAAH!" Hazel yelled more, two more bullets piercing his shoulders next.
"And guess what?" Ruby asked "Your partners, Esdeath, the Empire and the Minister? THEY'RE NEXT!"
She then walked toward The bleeding giant of a man.
"And here's what they'll have in common with you, They won't die a fast and easy death either." Ruby said as she was a few steps away from Hazel now.
"What...are you...doing?" Hazel weakly asked.
"...Fishes gotta eat too you know."
...Hazel felt terrified at what she meant, and his fears proven true as she dashed right a him and delivered a heavy Drop kick right into his chest, Sending him off the ship and right straight into the ocean!
"AAAAAAAAAAA_"

...And so, He fell into the ocean, bleeding and unable to swim his way out.
"...Good Riddance." Ruby said, looking down at where Hazel fell.
...Along side her old Personality from back in Remnant returning.
"Haah...haah...did that get him?" Liver Panted, As he Had just used his strongest attack.
"You won't ever find the time to ask that," Bulats voice was heard from above, As Liver looked up and saw Bulat charging down with his spear "IF I'M THE ONE YOU'RE FIGHTING!"
"H-HE MADE IT OUT ALIVE?!" Liver asked in shock, Not having the time to dodge right away!
*Whack!*
"AH!" Bulat grunted as he felt something hit him in the side of his helmet. It wasn't strong or fatal, and it didn't even hurt, But it distracted him long enough for Liver to narrowly dodge and jump away!
"What was...huh?" Bulat then found the Flute Nyau had used on the ground, being what was thrown at him!
"WHAT?!" He then looked over, and saw a Jaw dropped Tatsumi, with his fist bloodied and raised up while holding down Nyau, beaten up and battered by the neck.
"Hahaha...Too bad...He couldn't...defeat Liver in the end..." Nyau mocked, having used the last bit of his strength to throw his Flute Bulat while Tatsumi pummeled him.
"WHY YOU SON OF A!" Tatsumi angrily yelled, his Eyes shining white one last time before he punched a terrified Nyau again with his Semblance active for the last time!
*CRACK!*
...And The impact, and also the lack of Aura for Nyau and also being defensively weaker, Caused Nyaus neck to be snapped. Killing him instantly.
"W-Whoa..." Tatsumi gasped at what he did, before letting Nyaus dead body fall "Wow...that was kind of_"

"...Crap...Damn it." Tatsumi gasped out as his Aura finally ran out, and he fell on his knees.
"You okay Tatsumi?" Bulat asked.
"Y-Yeah...He's dead too." Tatsumi said, pointing at the neck broken Nyau "..I'm sorry bro...I didn't realize what he was trying to do until..."
"...Don't worry about it." Bulat spoke as his Armor vanished "You killed 2 Teigu users all on your own without a Teigu of your own. That's more than impressive."
"B-Bro..." Tatsumi weakly said.
"So, After a set amount of damage the armor vanishes." Liver stated "My victory is assured."
"You're one to talk. You're also at your limit." Bulat said "Or didn't you notice that your ear is bleeding?"
Liver gasped in shock, having finally realized one of his Ears bleeding which was a sign of a slight eternal brain damage that is caused because of over use of his teigu.
"And also, You're heavily outnumbered now." Bulat boldly stated "And by outnumbered, I mean you're completely alone now."
"Bold words, even for you." Liver said "What makes you think the Red Reaper is coming back from her fight with Hazel?"
"Simple." Bulat began to answer "I believe in her."
"...I didn't know you also became so naive_" Liver tried to speak.

But he then blinked in shock as Ruby landed down, Still very much alive.
"you two okay?" Ruby asked.
"Doing good! Beside from my hair, The aura thing really saved me from some heavy damage." Bulat answered.
"...Broke...The other ones neck." Tatsumi weakly informed "Outta Aura now, Exhausted."
"...I see." Ruby smiled, glad that they're both okay.
"...I take it hazel is also dead?" Liver asked.
"Bleeding with the fishes." Ruby coldly answered.
"...I suppose you are not a child after all." Liver sighed.
"You have no idea." Ruby stated as she aimed her weapon at liver.
"Hold on for a bit Ruby." Bulat stopped her "I have some questions. We have time."
Ruby Hesitatingly nodded and stepped back for a bit.
"So, Liver." He then faced the former general again "How is it that you're really still alive."
"Master Esdeath spared my life." Liver answered "But before you ask me another question, let me ask a question of my own. Would you join Master Esdeath like I have Bulat?"
"...Are you serious?" Ruby asked in disbelief.
"Sorry, But I have no intention of rejoining the Empire." Bulat Declined.
"Not the Empire. Think of it as Only serving master Esdeath." Liver explained "We'll be allowed to use as much force as we want. We're so feared...that we can do whatever we want to the same capital officials that framed us in the first place! Join me Bulat! I can make sure your criminal records are all wiped!"
"...You're pathetic." Ruby bluntly stated.
"What was that?" Liver angrily asked.
"You sold off your honor, Your beliefs just to get back at the higher ups that got you locked away." Ruby said "You're no different than the scumbags in the capital now, lording your own power and authority around just to scare the people that wronged you. If you really were a great general as Bulat said...Then you would have chosen death over this."
"...And who are you to scold me about such things?" Liver asked "You're just a small child, swinging a gardening tool around thinking she is doing what is necessary."
"...Yeah. you're right. I do think that what I'm doing is Necessary." Ruby admitted "Because, The only way to get rid of Diseases like you and save so many innocent lives, is to completely burn it away."
Both Tatsumi and Bulat noticed how...darker and much more aggressive she sounded. and both had different thoughts about it.
'...yikes, That Liver old man really pissed her off.' Tatsumi sweat dropped.
'...Is she shutting her emotions down?' Bulat thought '...Gotta have to talk to her about that.'
"I know at least 15 different ways on how to put an old dog like you down, Liver." Ruby threatened, only to turn around and step away "But the rights to that don't belong to me."
As she stepped away, she passed Bulat by, and pads his back once.
"Kick his butt all the way to hell Bro."
...Bulat was stunned for a split second at hearing her call him Bro for the first time, But quickly smiles and steps forward and pulls out his foldable broom and starts fixing his hair back up to its good 'ol heart shape.
"You just leave the rest to me, Little Red." Bulat said as he stepped forward toward Liver.
"...I can see how comfortable you are in your position, considering what the political officials did to you. But I'm trying to serve the people of this country." He explained "Esdeaths army is still working for the minister, So I pass."
"...Assassins looking out for the people? Don't tell me that child is becoming an influence on you." Liver said, referring to Ruby.
"Nah, She's always been like that. I just helped her get even more lively than she is." Bulat said "And sadly, She is right about how far you've fallen from grace. And as your former henchman, It falls to me to finish you off."
Both Tatsumi and Ruby watch as the two stand off, a few steps away from each other.
"So they're at Giving Rice Service." Lubbock complemented as he and the girls watch one of the civil servants give out rice to a village.
"How nice of them." Sheele added.
"This should give the citizens a great moral boost." Akame said "...but looking at them is making me hungry."
"Akame, You're ALWAYS hungry." Mine said.
"Look, I give you a bit of my Chocolate to you and you keep an eye out on any enemy that might show up. We got a deal?" Lubbock asked.

"AAAH!" Lubbock shrieked in fear as Akame swallowed his entire hand.
"EEK!" Sheele gasped at this while Mine deadpanned.
"...So, Anything on the wires?" Akame asked
"Nothing. We might have come for the wrong guy." Lubbock said.
"We can't let our guard down." Akame Scolded.
"Yeah, I know...But I'm kinda worried for the others." Lubbock said
"...Me too." Sheele admitted "I just hope Ruby doesn't do anything rash again...like from back then when the capital was after her."
"She better not." Mine said "I don't really want to hear about her doing something dangerous again."
'...Ruby...please...keep yourself and the others safe.' Akame thought to herself as she looks up at the sky.
"Alrighty then...Since we can't use our Teigus anymore," Bulat started.
"We have to simply rely on our swords like old times." Liver finished.
But then, Liver pulled out some kind of syringe and injected himself with something!
"W-What did you do?!" Ruby yelled.
"Just a little Doping." Liver calmly answered as he threw the syringe away "After all, You are my opponent."
"Uh oh. Bro! I have a bad feeling about that!" Tatsumi said.
"Don't worry. I already know who I'm up against." Bulat assured, before pressing a button on his armors shoulder pad and a container on his back opens up.
He then pulled out a white sword with a chain attached to the end of its hilt!
"LET'S GO!" Bulat yelled as the two rushed at each other.
The moment their Swords clashed, Ruby could have sworn a shockwave was made!
Bulat and Liver then began striking and Slashing their swords against each other at such incredible speed that had left Tatsumi and Ruby in awe.
'...Whoa... they're both really good...' Tatsumi thought.
'Liver doesn't even have Aura, But because of that drug he's still barely keeping up with Bulat.' Ruby thought as she observes Every swing and every strike the two make 'But how much Aura does Bulat has left? It's starting to get dangerous.'
As their battle moved on, Bulat with the advantage of having Aura, began to over power Liver and finally!

"GRAH!" Liver coughed as he was thrown back...but his gave a wicked smirk before using his Teigu one last time!
"BLADES OF BLOOD!"
The blood from his open wound began to move as they turned sharped, Aimed right at Bulat!
"SHIT!" Bulat gasped, as he instead of deflecting, moved his arms up and began to mostly cover his head!
The sharp Blood formations made contact with his body...but to Livers shock, they all either bounced off our didn't even cut through Bulat at all!
"H...How..." Liver asked, absolutely devastated that his last effort to win was a complete failur.
He fell down and began to bleed.

But Liver stopped as he noticed Bulats body glowing a bright brown color before the glow vanished into small little sparks, his Aura fully gone now.
"...What...was that? some kind of shield...no, Force Field?" Liver coughed.
"Yeah." Bulat nodded "And if you just attacked a bit more, You could have broken through it. Shame you didn't manage that."
"...I...See...You've become far stronger than the last time we met." Liver said.
"Thanks to my new friend that is." Bulat referred to Ruby.
"...Is that...so..." Liver said, seeing that he should have taken Ruby far more serious than he had '...Perhaps...She was the bigger threat on this ship after all.'
"That was cool Bro!" Tatsumi said as he and Ruby ran up to Bulat.
"You okay?" Ruby asked.
"All good." Bulat nodded.
"...Bulat...Before I die...Let me tell you the real reason why I joined Master Esdeaths army." Liver spoke up as he got everyone attention "...I simply worshiped her. That's all. At my lowest point, she gave me the drive to keep moving."
"...You idiot." Ruby spoke up again "Can't you see? She just manipulated you when you were at your lowest point."
"...She might have...but I still looked up to her no matter what." Liver stood by his words "In the end..I can at least die knowing I served her to the bitter end_BLEGH!"
Then everyone gasped as he coughed up too much blood.
"W-What's happening to you?" Bulat aske din shock.
"...That injection...It wasn't a drug. It was a deadly poison." Liver explained as all three of them were shocked and horrified "I was planning on using my secret technic to poison you through my already poisoned blood...but as you all just saw, it backfired."
"Heh...That's my former superior for ya. Always one step ahead no matter what." Bulat praised.
"Yes...But sadly...I did not see...your force field as a factor at all..." Livers voice started to die down "...I wish you...the best of luck...Bulat..."
...And soon, Liver died because of his own gamble.
"...See you on the other side when My time comes too...Boss." Bulat said.
"Mission: Complete." Ruby Stated.
"That was way too close." Tatsumi stated as they all sneaked off the ship and were back on dry land, while hiding away all the Teigus they managed to gather up from their fallen enemies.
Ruby had brought spare clothes, so Tatsumi and her changed back into normal attire to not cause suspicion. And for good measure, Ruby brought an oversized White hoodie for Bulat to hide his face.
And so, The three were walking down a path away from the harbor, while Ruby wore a normal Red shirt and black pants with shoes with the Sickle and the folded up Creasent Rose hidden in her clothes, Tatsumi wearing a white shirt and black pants and brown leather boots with the flute shoved into one of his back pockets, and Bulat covering his entire upper body with the hoodie and also covering his head too, With the double bladed Axe in the back of his hoodie and Livers ring in one pocket.
"Just keep walking and keep your head low." Ruby whispered to Bulat.
"I got it." Bulat said as they kept walking, passing by some guards that were probably running up to the Cruise.
As they walked on for about a few short minutes, they made sure not to attract any attention while walking out into the forest on their way back to the hideout.
"Man...I can't believe we all survived that." Tatsumi said.
"Still, It was a very close call." Bulat said "But don't let your guards down, We need to all go back safely first."
"...I'm really glad you both are okay." Ruby said.
"Hey, No sweat." Tatsumi said.
"We're a team after all." Bulat said "Oh, And don't you have something to share Tatsumi~?"
"Hm? OH RIGHT!" Tatsumi gasped "Ruby! I unlocked my semblance back on the ship!"
"W-Wait really?!" Ruby gasped too.
"Yeah! I got like, faster and stronger and...I guess scarier. Heck my Eyes also turned white!" Tatsumi explained.
"...It's a power up type Semblance. My sister used to have a similar one too." Ruby said "Her eyes would turn red. And...Her hair would catch on fire too."
"...That's the coolest thing I've ever heard." Tatsumi stated, In complete Awe at How Yangs semblance changed her hair.
"Hahaha!" Bulat laughed "Man, I can't help but to be proud of you two after today. You both did amazing!"
"Th-Thanks Bro!" Tatsumi said.
"Yeah..." Ruby said, Reminded of how she and her friends would talk as they walked from place to place. It felt really nostalgic to her.
"...I'm really glad I met you guys." Ruby said.
"Aww is that so?" Bulat teased...Before wiping some sweat from his forehead.
"Yeah. I thought I was going to be alone forever. but after meeting you all..." Ruby started "...Everything's been getting a lot better for me I think."
"Awww shucks." Tatsumi scratched the back of his head.
"Uh oh. There's rain coming up." Bulat stated as he looked up "We should hurry up or we'll end up catching a cold."
As they kept walking...Ruby noticed Bulat was started to get slower and a bit pale.
"...Bulat? You okay?" Ruby asked.
"I'm...I'm fine just a little...Tired after all the_EHEM!" He then coughed a bit...and Ruby and tatsumi both gasped as Blood came out "...What the..."
Then Bulat fell down on the dirt as the rain started to come down!
"BRO!" Tatsumi yelled as he Tried to Help Bulat up "W-What's wrong?!"
"Are you hurt?!" Ruby asked as she helped him up too.
"...Get this hoodie off me. NOW!" Bulat yelled as Tatsumi helped him remove the Hoodie. But then it came down to his green armor down to his black T-shirt. he observed his body...until his eyes widened at something "...Oh...damn it."
Then, Ruby and Tatsumi noticed...a very, VERY, small scratch, on the side of his hip.
"...I got careless." Bulat said, Coughing blood again.
"Oh no, the poison!" Tatsumi gasped in shock.
"...No...no no no no NO NO NO NO NO!" Ruby shook her head in horror, starting to feel scared and terrified "W-We need to get the poison out! right now! Ma-maybe we can bleed it out a little and_"
"It's been running in my system for far too long. It was a VERY small portion so it worked much slower." bulat stated "And I doubt we have enough time to find out what kind of poison it really is..."
"W-We have to hurry back!" Ruby said "I still have More than enough Aura. I can get all three of us back in no time!"
"It's a best chance we got." Tatsumi agreed.
"Fine, But be careful where you get us." Bulat nodded.
*FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!*
And without hesitation, Ruby began to use her semblance and dragged the other two with her without stop!
"Well, that was the most peaceful mission I've ever been on." Lubbock stated as he and the others were on their way back.
"Would that mean that the other target was attacked then?" Sheele asked, worried about Ruby, Bulat and Tatsumi.
"Probably." Mine guessed "Let's just hope nothing bad happened to the other target and the others."
"Heeeeey~" Then suddenly, Leone popped out while hanging upside down by one of the branches!
"OH GOD!" Lubbock gasped.
"JEEZ!" Mine gasped too.
"Hi." Akame calmly greeted.
"I see you guys are back too." Leone playfully jumped down "My job was kinda boring tho."
"You didn't try to attack her, did you?" Akame asked.
"Nope. Honest." Leone swore "Now let's go back. Today was really bor_"
*WOOOOOSH!*
But then to their surprise, Ruby was seen dashing almost past them with her Semblance with Tatsumi and Bulat also turned into a white and black gust of Patels too.
"Ruby?" Sheele called out as Ruby had stopped...and they all Gasped when they saw Ruby and Tatsumi holding up Bulat, who had blood coming from his mouth and also looked VERY pale.
"...H-Help..." Ruby begged, tears coming from her eyes as she had used up ALL of her Aura to get them this far "Please, Help..."
"Damn it, Just hang on Bulat! We're almost back!" Leone yelled while She and Lubbock were carrying Bulat with his hands over their shoulders as the rain had gotten wilder.
"Don't die on us man!" Lubbock yelled too.
Meanwhile, Akame was helping a exhausted and Aura depleated Ruby to keep up while Sheele, Tatsumi and Mine all were walking ahead as fast as they could.
"We're almost back at the hide out!" Mine called out "Just a little more!"
"EHEM AHAM!" Bulat kept coughing "P-Put me down."
"What?! You crazy?! We're almost back at the_" Lubbock tried to refuse.
"I said Put me down." Bulat weakly repeated.
And with a little struggling, Bulat managed to get off of Leone and Lubbock, sitting down by a tree.
"What are you doing!? We can't waste any time we got left!" Mine yelled.
"I'm...Not sure If I'm gonna make it..." Bulat sadly explained "...I thing I'm outta time now."
"B-bro..." Tatsumi said, devastated by this.
"N-NO! W-WE STILL HAVE SOME TIME LEFT! WE CAN STILL SAVE YOU!" Ruby yelled, refusing to believe that there is no saving Bulat now.
"Heheh...Sorry...We all know I don't have any time left..." Bulat smiled through the pain he was feeling, while everyone else were either Horrified, felt useless or incredibly sad.
"B-But! BUT! W-WE CAN STILL...W-We can still..." Ruby tried to think. She tried to think about about something, ANYTHING to save her friend. She couldn't use her Semblance anymore after using up all her Aura, Akame who was the second fastest among them couldn't carry Bulat by herself, The Rain was getting heavier, The Hideout was still a mile away...And Bulat was about to die.
She began to hyperventilate, flashbacks of Her friends dying around her coming back.
'No No No No No No No No GOD PLEASE NO!' She began to panic 'This can't be happening again this shouldn't happen I-I don't want this I can't go through this again PLEASE SOMETHING, ANYTHING, PLEASE I CAN'T_'
"RUBY!" She then finally Heard Akame Calling out to her through her Trauma and panic "Calm down."
As much as she tried, She couldn't calm herself.
"Hey...Don't look so down guys, It's okay." Bulat said, while the others were tearing up or couldn't even look straight at him "At least...I can die surrounded by my comrades."
"B-But bro!" Tatsumi tried to object.
"But Before I actually die...Give me a second." Bulat then pressed the same button on his shoulder pad and the container on the back of his green armor opened up again. He pulled the same white sword out and tried to hand it toward Tatsumi "Here. this is yours now Tatsumi."
"W-What?" Tatsumi was confused while everyone else beside Ruby all gasped in shock, Already Knowing what the sword is.
"This is Incursios Key. It's now yours." Bulat explained,
"W-Wait, You mean your Armor?!" Tatsumi gasped.
"I...I-I don't Think I can B-But..." Tatsumi began to stutter.
But then Bulat shoved the swords handle onto Tatsumis hand, and gave him one last punch on the head.
"OW!" Tatsumi yelped at the pain.
"Quit doubting yourself. With how much stronger you've become and after what you did today by yourself, You're more than Qualified to wear it." Bulat said.
Everyone just watch with sadness, but Ruby couldn't accept this.
"SO YOU'RE JUST GIVING UP?!" Ruby pushed Akames hands away and rushed at Bulat, before falling on her knees while grabbing the edge of his green armors chest plate "YOU CAN'T JUST GO! WE NEED YOU!"
"Hey, don't scream so loud, you'll hurt your throat." Bulat joked.
"HOW CAN YOU BE SO OKAY WITH THIS YOU JERK!" Ruby yelled, tears bursting from her eyes "YOU CAN'T JUST WALK INTO MY LIFE AND WALK OUT OF IT LIKE THIS! NOW AFTER I...not after...I...started to think of you all as family...B-bro..."
...Everyone felt heartbroken by Ruby's outburst, and the fact that they heard her call Bulat Bro shattered what was left of their hearts.
"...Hey, Easy now." Bulat then hugged Ruby, as the younger girl felt stunned at this "Sorry about this...I know it ain't fair, And frankliy it's my fault for getting careless. But I'm leaving the teams moral to you now. You need to be the one that keeps the others passions up. Okay?"
"B-But...I-I don't wanna lose a-anymore of my F-F-Friends..." Ruby stuttered through her crying as she hugged Bulat back too.
"I know...And again, I'm really sorry for putting you through this again..." Bulat said, as his eyelids started to feel heavy "...But promise...you won't ever change...that you'll stay the same as you are right now no matter what. Okay?"
"...O-Okay...I-I promise...Bro..." Ruby nodded as she hugged him tighter "...Bro?..."
"..."
...and on this rainy day...Bulat passed away from slow poisoning, with a smile on his face till the very end.
...Ruby noticed that her friend just died in her arms...just like Yang, Weiss and Blake had...And her whole world shattered around her.
...Her throat felt sore and dry...her face was wet, not just because of the rain but her tears...something hurt inside her neck, the pain was too much to handle.
...Then, She finally realized...she was crying and screaming her sadness out into the sky without realizing it sooner, and Akame, Leone and Sheele were doing their best to comfort her in their arms, Also in tears themselves while Lubbock, Mine and Tatsumi all had broken down crying too...
...And so...Ruby Rose had suffered the loss of another friend, yet again...
