Chapter 34
Yua and Sukuna stepped outside. She stared at him oddly as he glared back at her. "Am I to be blamed for this?" he demanded.
She glared at him oddly. "How are you to blame?"
"I put the dragon in him, he consumed that dragon and became its vessel because of me. I am to blame for that, am I not?"
She shook her head to the notion. "Before you regained your mind, this was the better option… honestly, had you been this way before that happened… I would have preferred you over the dragon…"
He appeared rather surprised to her answer, but he kept peering back at the door. "What now?"
"We wait, for the next month, we need to be certain Yuuji is taken care of and safe. That's all that matters for the time being… oh… and Yuko… she expecting again. Suiryu is going to tend to her in Yuuji's place."
A confused look came over Sukuna. "Are dragons not territorial? Especially with mates?"
"They are, but at the same time, Yuuji knows he can't tend to both of them. Suiryu is his brother so he has trust in him. The two will work together with each other and tend to their families."
"Oh? Are you two having a meeting out here?"
Yua jumped as lady Tiamat suddenly joined them. She peered at Sukuna oddly but a small smile came over her. "I knew I asked the right person the right question…" she said offhandedly.
Sukuna rolled his eyes to it all. "What now?" he asked.
Lady Tiamat sighed. "You are going to keep a close eye on my child and grandson from this moment on. I don't want you approaching either one of them unless they ask of you, knowing you, your words tend to make Yuuji feel very uneasy…"
He snickered at the notion. "I won't be foolish enough to go against your child."
Lady Tiamat then stared at Yua. "Not a word to anyone… understood?" she ordered sternly.
Yua merely nodded her head to her. "For now?" she asked.
"Tend to my son, keep him calm, safe, warm and fed, it's all I ask for the next month. But I tend to think he will sleep through this month, just ensure no one disturbs him."
She promised, as such Lady Tiamat sighed aloud. "You are going to need some assistance… perhaps it is time the grandchildren met their fathers…"
Yua paused. Sukuna did too. "Grandchildren?" they asked at the same time.
However she was gone before either one could ask any farther as to what she meant.
Yua sighed aloud as she peered at Sukuna. "What?" he growled.
"My 'sister' has been oddly quite as of late, she hasn't pestered me about taking Suguru as a second husband, however, her meddling has influenced my daughter!"
Sukuna paused as he smirked a little. "Oh?" he asked curiously.
She glared at him. "She asked if Nanami could be a third husband to me since she wants a smart father in the house… I do admit she has a valid point…"
"BAHAHAHA!" Sukuna roared aloud with laughter. "YOUR DAUGHTER?!"
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Suiryu roared from Lady Tiamat's residence. "Damn it…" soon followed realizing both of them could have woken Yuuji.
"Anyways… Let's talk elsewhere…"
"I'll pass on this… conversation. Besides, it sounds like a family matter to me. Your daughter is merely… seeing things from her aunt's side…"
"Oh really? So what happens if Chusi starts looking huh? She's powerful!"
Sukuna smirked once more. "She doesn't want anyone else but me," he stated rather proudly. "Speaking of her, I better check and see how things are going…"
Yet just as he left. Yua said gently. "I'll be sure to ask you again, when she starts pestering you for a baby…" she said.
Instantly, Sukuna froze in his steps, he turned and stared at Yua rather fearfully to the notion. "Not… one… word!" he said in a warning tone.
However, she merely smiled back to him. "Oh, Sukuna. For being a thousand years old, being the king of curses… you really have no clue about women do you? Besides, I won't have to do a thing. Time itself… with torment you."
He was quick to leave shortly after.
It made Yua feel a little better, at the same time, he has no idea that Chusi has been asking her question on how to raise a family…
