"So Mom what do you have planned for the 3-day weekend you got off?" Izuku sat shotgun next to his mom as she drove him to the first destination.
"So I was thinking, it has been quite a while since the last time we went to the Hero Museum so I thought we could start with that and then maybe get some ice cream" Inko turned to Izuku knowing how excited he could get about heroes.
A small smile grew on Izukus's face "I think that would be lovely for today" Izuku had heard that the museum got a rare trinket that one of the first licensed heroes used. Batman kickstarted the support industry and seeing a Batarang in real life was a dream come true.
"Make it quick I want chocolate ice cream"
Hearing the ever-familiar voice of Venom made Izukus grin wider. "Don't worry Venom at the rate we are getting stronger I do not doubt in my mind that we can get strong enough before the entrance exam. Your ice cream can wait" Venom's growth was slow going, it seemed the symbiote was always hungry, even when they both could not physically eat anymore.
Seeing the giant doors of the museum always made Izuku's heart flutter time to drag Mom around the exhibits for the next few hours. The pre-quirk revolution heroes are Izuku's favorite, shaping and defining what it meant to be a hero.
"Spider-man exhibit"
Izuku heard Venom wanting to find a Spider-man exhibit, for some reason, Venom liked that old New York-based hero, always looking for more information about him. "Sorry Venom but this museum does not have a Spider-Man exhibit, one day ill take ya to New York to see it" Feeling Venom's disappointment usually made him feel disappointed but not today, there were lots of cool Heros to Look at.
Seeing the Hero on guard duty had Izuku practically bouncing. "Mom look it's Fire Fist, he has the 3rd strongest fire quirk in Japan and he is climbing the ranks in every new popularity poll!" Izuku did a full in-depth analysis on him weeks ago and now he was seeing him in person.
"Of course, you would know about him, my little hero expert," Inko said lovingly as they started looking around the museum. Izuku rattled off facts about every hero exhibited they went to. Inko tried to keep up with Izuku but after a few hours, she needed a break.
"Izuku I am going to sit down you go ahead I will find you" Seeing his mom walk over to a bench Izuku gave a quick nod before rushing to the "STARS OF THE SENSES" exhibit, heroes through the years with extreme control of there bodies. In his rush, he turned the corner and collided foreheads with someone.
Venom last second involvement protected Izuku by covering his skin in venom before the impact then instantly starting to heal any damage making it so that he was perfectly fine after a second…his counterpart, unfortunately, fell backward clutching her forehead cursing up a storm.
"I–I-I AM SO S-SORRY" Izuku stammered out it probably hurt her a lot more than it hurt him, wait it was a her? Looking down Izuku saw that it was a girl with purple hair, dressed in a red skirt with fishnet stocking down to her black boots and an oversized black tee shirt reading "DEEP DOPE" with an album cover under the band name.
Crouching down to help pick up her purse, phone, and headphones she finally said something to him. "The HELL you do that for man" Izuku turned bright red in embarrassment "Im s-sorry I wasnt p-paying too much attention" Izuku helped her up before giving back her stuff.
"M-my mom has s-some ibuprofen in her purse if y-you would like" Izuku said to the stranger. "My n-name is Izuku Midoriya" he added hoping she would take his offer. Hearing Venom's laughter made him feel all the more responsible.
Kyoka Jiro rubbed the now small bump on her head as she thought about the thickheaded boy's offer, before ultimately deciding yes. "The name is Kyoka Jiro and you better get me a drink, I can't swallow pills without a drink" Getting a way to ease the pain and a free drink? How could she pass up on an offer like that?
Seeing the boy's apologetic face made her feel better, at least he was taking responsibility for it. "I think I would like a lemonade if that's alright with you," Jiro said as they stopped at a vending machine before walking to where his mom probably was.
Izuku was thinking to himself "I CANT BELIVE I AM WALKING WITH A GILR?!" sure he inflicted pain on her and he was down 1.50$ but he was walking with a girl non the less. "How did I let this happen? I thought I was more alert"
"Because you are stupid"
Venom's comments on the situation did not help. "S-sorry again f-for bumping into you" Izuku turned to Jiro "Are you a big fan of Deep Dope?"
Jiro turned and glanced at his face while sipping her lemonade "Don't worry dude I forgive you, and ya I am a pretty big fan…I saw them last time they went on tour in the area. I did not think you knew who they are, they are pretty underground and you don't look like the type that listens to them."
Izuku smiled "I have a few songs of theirs in my workout playlist, I haven't looked into their full discography thought" Their small talk continued until they got to his mom. "Hey Mom I kinda bumped into this girl and she probably got a headache"
Inko instantly sprung into action getting out the ibuprofen "Did you apologize yet Izkuk?" seeing him nod she smiled "Good now apologies again" As Izuku was apologizing Inko was happy "This is the most I have seen Izuku socialize in forever to a girl no less!" \
"Hey, Izuku would your new friend like to join us for some ice cream?" Inko would be damned if she let this opportunity go to waste.
"M-m-mom I don't think we should keep h-her too long" Looking over at Jiro he added "She probably has family waiting for her-"
"I could go for some ice cream" Jiro cut him off "ill just text my dad where I am it should be fine" truth is Jiro was hungry and ice cream sounded perfect right now, not to mention Midoriya was kinda cute and they seemed like nice people. Seeing Mama Midoriya smile as they started walking to the ice cream shop made Jiro smile.
As they were walking Jiro checked her phone and saw the thumbs-up emoji from her dad before hearing a slight sloshing sound from Midoriya "I wonder what that was… probably his quirk" Pushing her ear jacks ever so slightly towards the sloshing sound before all of a sudden it stopped as if it knew she was listening in. "Strange"
"She knows I am here"
That mildly surprised Izuku "Hey, Jiro do you mind if I ask you about your quirk?" Izuku said "I noticed your earlobes had headphone jacks but are there any more? It's okay if you do not want to answer" Izuku wanted to know how she could tell Venom was there… probably heard him due to the nature of her quirk.
"Nah it's fine…my quirk is Earphone Jack and it basically gives me super hearing and perfect pitch it also can amplify my heartbeat into objects I know it's kinda lame but I think it fits me well" Jiro braced herself for the usual antics of people when they found out she had good hearing, making noises and asking her if she could hear them, asking her if she could play music, and the rude ones touched her jacks.
"T-T-Thats such a COOL QUIRK! You could be amazing at finding hostages or lost people, amazing for infiltration, and control over sound can go through so many defenses" Izuku gushed thinking back to the sludge villain "I bet you could become an amazing hero"
"Wait what?" Jiro had never seriously considered becoming a hero, going down the musician path seemed to make more sense but…who doesn't want to be a hero? "I never really thought about it" Instead of keeping the conversation on her Jiro decided to now be a good time to ask him about his quirk "Hey Midoriya what's your quirk?
Before Izukk could respond they got to the ice cream shop "So what do you kids want?" Mama Midoriya said to them.
"Two triple fudge with hot fudge and nuts as the topping" Izuku excitedly said practically drooling at the mouth
A few things shocked Jiro first was that Midoriya was about to eat an ungodly amount of chocolate, second he was eating it twice, and third was that his voice had a slightly deeper edge "Uhhh can I please have a plain chocolate cone?" Seeing Midoriya devour the 2 chocolate cones was the breaking point for Jiro
"What is your quirk Midoriya?" The limited info she had gathered left her with no guesses. What kind of quirk made a noise like that, gave him an impossibly thick skull, and made him love chocolate like no other?
Izuku glanced at his mom. This was the first time anyone asked him about his "quirk" What should he say? He was in unknown territory.
"I like this girl, she respects the fine delectable taste of chocolate. Get me her cone and I will show her how amazing I am"
Izuku sighed. "I suppose it was going to get out anyway. Be nice Venom you are going public" Izuku then looked at Jiro's half-eaten cone "I will show you, but you have to let me eat that" Izuku pointed at her cone.
Jiro raised her eyebrow at that debating if she wanted to know his quirk or if she wanted half a cone. It was a short debate. Giving her cone over to Midoriya she watched as he gobbled it all down in one bite. "I guess he is immune to brain freezes" Glancing over at Mama Midoriya smiling made her feel more at ease.
Seeing Jiro slightly grimace at him Izuku sighed "Really Venom? You making me look stupid in front of my friend"
"You always look stupid"
"My quirk is called Venom." Seeing Jiro giving her full attention Izuku went on "He is a rare sentient quirk who lives in my body and loves chocolate" Well that solved the sounds and the chocolate craze. "He helps control and upkeep my body as well as physically helping me by expelling himself by making tendrils"
Jiro finally understood. That was why he wasn't hurt when they collided too bad there were laws against public quirk use she kinda wanted to see the tendrils "That is a cool quirk dude" was all she could say. A quirk with a mind of its own? Those were super rare.
Izuku then grabbed a napkin before sliding toward her. Slightly blushing Izuku put his hands over the napkin. "Venom wants to talk to you" As he said that the tips of his fingers turned black and moved to leave an ink-like substance on the napkin.
Jiro was confused when Midoriya's heart rate went up then she heard the faint sloshing sound move at his fingertips. Looking down she saw small snake-like tentacles write something on the napkin
"Hello Kyoka Jiro my fellow chocolate enthusiasts"
"W-Whoa" is all Jiro could say.
Hada Masahiro is getting annoyed. The Force was no closer to finding out who this serial killer was than they were weeks ago. All suspects found said the same thing. "I was being controlled" and honestly it was getting fucking annoying, even the suspects found headless was more helpful. The murder was a complete wild card, seeming striking at random, leaving no calling card, or clue on why they were doing this like so many other serial killers.
"Detective! Detective" Hearing him begin calling Masahiro turned to see Officer Spencer running up to him. "You better have good news, Spencer, I am NOT in the mood right now" Knowing the young officer's usual antics.
"Now, Now detective seeing how you look at Cheif would tell me otherwise" his small smirk instantly disappearing off his face as Masahiro glared at him. Coughing into his hand he decided not to push it. "We found someone in the area who had a similar quirk, a Hitoshi Shinso, his quirk is called Brainwashing…gives him complete control over someone and victims say they don't remember being under his control." \
Masahiro did not let himself get excited yet. "Bring him in for questioning," Masahiro said to Spencer. "There is a slight problem, however, the boy is only 14" Masahiro thought for a second before speaking up.
"Find out if he has 2 parents if they have a criminal record, what tax bracket they are in, and interview his teacher to see if he is a delinquent." That should give him a good idea if this "Hitoshi Shinso" could be a good lead.
Saluting Spencer turned and started walking away before turning back "I overheard Cheif saying her favorite color is purple and that she loves flowers…Im not saying get her some wisteria but… you know" Seeing Masahiro turn and give in a cold look made it all the funnier "Get the hell out of my sight Spencer"
Carlton Drake was conducting an unethical experiment but hey? Who said cleansing the world was going to be clean? In his right hand, he held a needle full of the extracted "quirk factor" from a small-time Villain named Magne. In front of Drake was a low-class thug that Mr. Chisaki graciously donated. The thug's quirk was that he could make a small force field around him but under careful observation, Drake found out that it was magnetic; Magne's quirk to give people a magnetic charge could in theory help cancel out the force field quirk. Magne couldn't magnetize herself because her quirk balanced her own magnetic field and the force field quirk worked by greatly amplifying his small magnetic field and then projecting it outwards.
Seeing the thug's tense face through the glass containment cell Drake knew he had to calm him down before injecting him. "Mr. Uzume this is just a slight quirk enhancer drug, and it's completely safe, unlike the trigger you so enjoy." seeing the goon slightly calm down Drake went on "Uzume…the goddess of dawn…said to help end the eternal winter night" Seeing the acknowledgment look on his face brought a smile to Drakes's face
"I see plenty of similarity between you and the goddess, both will help to end something nobody wants…you are at the front of the next step of human evolution… try to embrace it." the truth was Drake hated quirks and how some people were born infidelity more powerful than others, the next step of human evolution was to eliminate quirks, then use that potential in the human body to evolve past the stars.
Seeing Mr. Uzume calm down Drake injected him with Mange's "quirk factor" before focusing the cameras on him and stepping back from the glass. Nothing happened for a few minutes, then out of nowhere, Uzume's body temperature started rising slowly.
"Mr. Uzume would you please use your quirk" Drake called out. Uzume concentrated before sending out the weakest force field Drake had ever seen. "Hmm, his body temperature jumped up to 101 degrees Fahrenheit (38.33 Celsius)" "Come ON UZUME give me a forcefield!" a little vocal encouragement wouldn't hurt.
Drake watched as Uzume let out a small force field again. Drake watched in fascination as Uzume's body temperature raised to 105 Fahrenheit (40.56 Celsius) then something extraordinary happened. Uzume started screaming and scratching at his body.
"AHHHH IM ON FIRE IN ON FIRE IT'S UNDER MY SKIN IT'S UNDER MY SKINNNNN" Uzume shouted out as he violently started beating and scratching himself drawing blood before suddenly flatlining and twitching around on the ground covered in blood.
"Hmm, I guess the body is not adapted to conflicting quirks as well as I thought" Looking over to his vitals Drake saw the body reached 112 Fahrenheit (44.44 Celsius) "His immune system fried himself from the inside inducing psychosis. Maybe it's about time I look into that quirk-erasing drug Mr. Chisaki has been working on" Getting a lab assistant to take care of the body and do an autopsy would help him understand what happened, now where was Treece when you needed him.
Looking over the footage, his notes, and the autopsy Drake had a smirk on his face. It was possible to create an artificial quirkless person, you just needed conflicting quirks, a quirk suppressant, and something to bind and control the body's functions, and BOOM! No more quirk usage, today might have been a failure but another word for failure was progress, now if he found Mr. Chisaki's murderer he was sure he could get a copy of the quark-erasing drug Chisaki was cooking up.
Theories ran through his head as he got ready to look for clues "If we neutralize someone's quirk what will their offspring's quirk be? Could they have offspring? Could a quirk-erasing quirk act as a base for neutralizing all quirks, like that pest Eraserheads quirk? Drake wrote down his ideas as he got ready to do some backhanded detective work.
Izuku was having the time of his life. He was at the Hero Museum with his mom, he was with a very cute girl and Venom was being passive, what more could you ask for? "Hey, Midoriya can I see your phone?" Jiro asked. Izuku shyly gave her his phone his Hero wallpaper on full display. "What do you need it for?" Hopeful she wasn't going to look too deep.
"To put my number in so we can hang again" She couldn't believe she did that. "I bet even Midoriya can hear my heart beating right now." Hearing Mama Midoriya make a small squeal Jiro turned as bright of a shade of red as Midoriya was.
Giving back Midoriya his phone Jiro heard something. Raising her ear jacks into the air to get a better picture Jiro was trying to focus on where the sound came from "Was the glass shattering? Are people running towards us? Did something happen?
Seeing Jiro's look of confusion brought Izuku back to the real world "Venom" was all he needed to say before the skin around his eyes went black, the veins around his eyes growing darker while his ears went black trying to find the disturbance. As people started running past them Jiro spoke up.
"I think someone is fighting down there" Pointing down the hall Izuku could finally hear the fighting and as much as he wanted to see the Hero on guard fight this was not the time. Grabbing both his mom's and Jiros' wrists Izuku started dragging them away when he heard something that shook him to the core and made Venom tense up.
"WHERE ARE YOU VENOM?! I KNOW YOU ARE HERE!"
Venom instantly receded into Izuku. Turing around Izuku's blood ran cold as he could finally see what was fighting the Hero. It was a man whose top half was covered in tar-looking substance with a shiny dark metallic color and blood-red veins. What scared him the most was his head. The creature's head had 2 giant white eyes that stretched up his head and a mouth that stretched up to where the ears should be. Its lipless mouth was full of razor-sharp teeth that were jagged and yellowing. Its long tongue flapped around as he created a giant axe to try to cut down the Hero. Its sharpened claws dug into the wall to support him.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT" Jiro yelled out. Looking back at Fire Fist getting slapped away like a bug made Jiro run a little bit faster. She heard the monster let out an inhuman roar before jumping towards them. "I am going to die today"
"FOUND YOU!"
Izuku turned around to see the other Venom turn his hands into giant spikes and shoot themselves toward his mom and Jiro. "NO! NOT LIKE THIS MOVE BODY! MOVE!" Izuku's world went into slow motion as he turned around and started pushing both his mom and Jiro out of the path of the spikes.
Izuku watched as a spike barely missed his mom before seeing a flash of red and the spike to his life clip Jiro's side. Izuku then saw the spikes jerk upwards and through both of his biceps.
"I FINALLY FOUND YOU VENOM"
"VENOM LETS KILL THIS GUY!" Izukus' anger at the enemy symbiote for attacking his mom and new friend and Venom's constant violet opinions influenced Izkuku to make him truly wish death on the grey symbiote. Not even caring about the 2-inch holes through him, all Izuku wanted to do is make him hurt.
"HELL NO WE GETTING OUT OF HERE, HE IS NOT TO BE FUCKED WITH"
"Big mistake attacking me!" Izkuku clenched his fists and felt Venom flow to his arms, turning his hands and forearms pitch black. The monster's grin seemed to grow even longer before his hand started growing into a ball and dropping to the floor instantly hardening with spikes all over like a crude mace.
Izuku tensed up but before he could do anything both his hands jerked towards Inko and Jiro Venom sent out a tentacle to pick them both up, putting Inko in Izukus arms and Jiro on his back before Venom forced Izuku to turn and started running the opposite way.
"I don't care if Riot is only half complete he will still fuck us up. We are leaving"
Izuku huffed in annoyance and anger before taking back control and turning the corner. Calming down as he saw his mom in his hands. "I bet we could have taken him," Izuku thought. Glancing back Izuku saw the villain jump up and whip his mace towards them. Izukus's eyes widened as the mace raced towards them Venom putting up a shield at the very last moment saving them.
"We are weak and Riot has shit you have never seen"
Izuku using his knowledge of the Muesim and Venom using his shield could only do so much while trying to escape. His mom fainted and Jiro being weak made getting to safety the priority, and also extremely challenging, using a little bit of venom to keep pressure on Jiro's wound and trying to heal her as much as he could even when Venom was being pushed out.
"We can't just run he is going to catch us soon!" Right as Izuku said that Riot threw a lemonade vending machine at the exit blocking their escape route. "WE ARE SCREWED!" Izukus's mind was racing as he tried to find a way out.
"NO, WE ARE NOT!"
Izuku used Venom to gently put down his mother and Jiro before looking at the giant white curved eyes of the enemy. "We got to do something Venom" Izuku felt Venom stir and then flood his upper body. Izuku felt his muscles bulge out and venom start creeping up his head, black veins scattered over his face as his teeth and nails became sharper. Looking down his body from the waist up started turning black. Izuku felt his eyes start to gloss over with venom before readying himself to attack the iris and scale covered in a foggy swirl.
"FLASH FIRE FIST" Before Izuku could attack the bloodied and battered Hero from earlier hit Riot in his left shoulder, his hand covered in a bright blue flame. A brilliant spray of flame exploded around the both of them. A scream of pain erupted out of Riot before the left half of him receded into his host.
"Attacking the woman and children, you truly are a villain" Izuku watched as Riot turned to face the Hero, his left arm now human. "FIRE FIST GATLING" The Hero dodged the villain's last-ditch attempts to slice him and landed blow after blow of fire-infused punches on him each sending more of the symbiote into the host.
Fire Fist ducked under a horizontal slice from Roit and landed a huge hit on the exposed kidney the smell of burning flesh filled the air. Riot yelled out before sending out a spike to distract the Hero. As the Hero was forced to back off Riot turned his hand back into a mace and smashed a hole through the wall escaping into the city.
Venom seeing the danger past receded into Izuku as Fire Fist took some deep breaths, letting his fire burn out.
"Sleep" was all Izuku heard from the symbiote before he went still in his body. Taking this time to calm down himself Izuku felt his heart rate start to slow down. "A-Are you a-alright F-Fire Fist?" Izuku said, looking at the bleeding hero.
"I am fine old sport and don't worry help is already on the way," Fire Fist said assessing the damage on Jiro and making sure Inko had a pulse. "You did well to protect these two, old sport, you are hero material." He said turning to the green-haired boy.
"F-F-Fire F-Fist c-can I g-get an autograph?" Izuku stammered out after a few moments of silence. Sure he almost died and got saved by a hero for the second time in 3 months but Fire Fist was so cool and there is no time like the present Pulling out a notebook from somewhere Fire Fist laughed and signed it for the boy.
"The EMTs and police will be here soon to clean up the young girl's wound and secure the perimeter; although, it already looks like the wound is healing" not knowing that Venom already healed the worst of it. "When your mom wakes up you guys will be asked a few questions, but you should be home by dinner."
The next few hours were a blur for Izuku. First, the paramedics arrived to treat Jiro and found out that most of the damage was to the skin and top tissue but it would still leave a scar reaching around her side. Izuku got scars on both sides of his biceps but venom already healed him all up when they went into the upgraded version of Gear 1. After Fire Fist gave his testimony and the police asked all the needed questions, they were let go.
Second Izuku met Jiro's father. Jiro was sitting down with a shock blanket around her shoulders and a drink in her hand when she heard her name being called "Kyoka! Kyoka!" Jiro looked up to see her distressed dad. "Thank god for your alright! When I heard you got injured by that villain I expected the worst" Hugging Jiro he let her cry on his shoulder, whispering to her to help her calm down.
When Jiro calmed down she told him how Izuku saved her from the villain. Turning to the boy and his crying mother Kyotoku looked him in the eye. "I would like to thank you for saving Kyoka, if you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask."
Izuku just smiled "I-It was my p-pleasure, Mr. Jiro, I am just glad she is alright" Kyotoku turned to Jiro and grabbed her hand before leading her away "Your mother is going to have a heart attack when she hears about this"
Third was that Venom was completely quiet for the first time Izuku could remember. The car was silent as Izuku watched the streetlamps pass a strange emptiness in his mind without Venom.
Arriving home Izuku and Inko walk inside the dark kitchen. Izuku was suddenly grabbed by Inko into a bone-crushing hug"IZUKU I WAS SO WORRIED" think tears running down her face "IM SO SORRY FOR MAKE YOU FACE THAT"
Seeing his mom start crying again brought tears to Izuku's eyes "It's okay Mom we are all okay" Izuku said to her as they both cried. It took another 20 minutes before they both calmed down.
"I think I'm going to go make some Katsudon Izuku and don't worry, ill make enough for you and Venom…is he alright?" Inko added, a flash of concern on her face. She may have not known much about him but she knew he was Izuku's friend.
"I think he just overworked himself…I think after he gets some energy back and I get some sleep he should be back to normal" Thinking back to Venom's favorite food he told his mom he was going to get some chocolate from Mrs. Chen.
After a lot of chocolate and Katsudon Izuku read the news report on the Museum attack HEADLINE: VILLAIN ATTACKS HERO MEUSUM! FIRE FIST REPELS WITH LITTLE INJURIES! Izuku looked through the article and noticed a lot of missing information. "I guess the HPSC didn't want the fact that the Muesume was attacked in broad daylight and the hero on guard almost dying to be spread all around."
"Izuku I am going to do my sudoku puzzles then go to bed, don't stay up too late!" Izuku heard his mom yell from the living room. "Okay Mom!" taking Fire Fist's autograph and framing it Izuku got ready for bed.
After a shower, Izuku looked in the mirror admiring his growing muscles before seeing the 2-inch scars on his biceps. Touching the scarred skin Izuku got full of determination "I AM going to get stronger! Clenching his fist as he looked at the scars a second thought popped into his head "And Venom has some explaining to do"
Walking into his room Izuku did a little quirk analysis on the new form he and Venom went into today before getting into bed. Looking at his phone that buzzed Izuku saw he got a new text message.
From: Unknown- hey Midoryia its Jiro i think we need to have a conversation.
Looking at the message Izuku sighed.
To: Jiro- ya okay can you meet me at Dagoba beach in 2 days?
That should give her time to recover and hopefully Venom would recover so they could have a conversation of their own. That monster was looking for him after all. Feeling the buzz of his phone Izuku looked down.
From: Jiro- ya okay that works see you then

WHAT UP WHATS UP WHATS UPPPPPP?! I like how this one turned out. I think im getting better at this but damn there so much room for improvement. Thanks to the guy telling me about the how to keep this a non crossover, i really dont wanna go down the rabbit hole of marvel comics so the spiderman hero was an easter egg, he wont be part of the story its really just the symbiots from the 2018 venom movie. On a side note the raspberry simply lemonade is so good, i know im going to shoot 90 when i golf thursday when i got that drank with me. Peace and love- Max
