7:30 PM
Cassidy pulled up to the mall parking lot in her 2011 Honda Civic Si with Gregory in the passenger seat. Cassidy was wearing form fitting blue jeans, black boots, a long sleeve black shirt and red leather jacket of over it. Her black hair was in a ponytail. Gregory wore blue jeans, white sneakers, a blue hoodie, he had a backpack with him in the car.
After spending some time at the arcade in the pizzaplex with Evan and Mangle and having dinner at Mangle's apartment, Gregory wanted to take time to do some more Christmas shopping with Cassidy, in an attempt to make things feel normal again since the day half his glamrock family was abducted. He and Cassidy were planning on buying more gifts to put under the tree at Vanessa's house.
As much as they loved the Pizzaplex, they wanted to go shopping at a mall that didn't exclusively sell Fazbear branded items.
"Well here we are, Red Cliffs Mall." Cassidy said getting out of the driver side. She waited for Gregory to close the door to the honda and she locked and armed the alarm on the car with her remote key in hand.
"I don't think I've been here since I was younger. My real mom and dad used to come here all the time, this is actually the mall they were driving to the night..well…doesn't matter now. Let's go." Gregory said forcing a smile.
"Gregory…it's okay. I know this is where your parents were headed, the night of the accident. And, I know it was around this time of year. We can go somewhere else if you want?" The robotic chicken girl asked.
"No no Cassidy, it's fine. I want to come here, it's one of the best malls in the area. And I do want to get some gifts for Freddy, Roxy and Monty. I'm sure we will get them home for Christmas soon. And there's some cool stores around here." Gregory said.
"Okay well hun, if you change your mind, just let me know." Cassidy said.
"I'll be fine sis, thanks." Gregory said without realizing it.
"Ohh so you think I'm your big sister now huh?" She said grinning and raising an eyebrow.
"Well…" Gregory said.
"It's fine, little bro." She said winking.
He grinned and giggled.
"C'mon we got some shopping to do." Cassidy said.
The two had spent a lot of time shopping around for various items for the family. Gregory got his mother Vanessa a panini maker, since she's been wanting one for sometime, a new Resident Evil game for Roxanne's Switch, Freddy the best of the Beetles album collection. Cassidy got Monty a new portable Bluetooth speaker system and Chica a new guitar and a coffee collection for her Keurig machine. She got Mangle a set of earrings and Foxy a new set of fishing lures for his tacklebox, to use on his boating trips.
They went back to the car to put their gifts away in the trunk. Then they headed back inside to grab a bite to eat at a local 99 Restaurant location inside.
9:00 PM
"Hey the arcade is still open, got time to play a couple of rounds of air hockey?" Gregory asked.
"You don't need to ask me twice." Cassidy said.
The two walked into the Round 1 arcade that was there, and both already had passes with credits loaded on them since they frequent their Hurricane location enough.
They played a couple rounds of air hockey.
"Jesus your sent the puck into that wall Cassidy." Gregory said seeing the puck fly off the table and into the wall behind Gregory leaving a slight indent on the wall.
"Whoops sorry…guess sometimes it's easy to forget that I am robot still haha." Cassidy said.
"Just be more careful okay? I don't think you want to have to explain to the others how you sent me to the ER." Gregory said.
"I promise, I'll be more aware of my strength." Cassidy said.
She sent the puck aggressively and competitively but not much stronger than a human player would, far more manageable for Gregory.
The two taking shots back and forth on the air hockey table until the machine ran out of time, and the victor with the highest points wins, in this case Gregory.
"Well…looks like I need some more practice, but as long as your having fun, I don't care." Cassidy said smiling.
"Oh we both know you could kick my ass if you really wanted to." Gregory said.
"No really! I promise I wasn't throwing the game for you haha, I just lowered my strength to make it more manageable and most importantly safer for you." Cassidy said.
"Well, thanks sis." Gregory said.
She playfully ruffled his hair.
"Okay so what do you wanna play now? We have about a 30 minute drive back to your house with traffic, since it's a Friday. We're not going back to the Pizzaplex until tomorrow since I'm staying the night at your place. We could stay here for another hour, however long you like little brother. I have no where else to be, and right now there's not a whole lot I can do to help the others…until a breakthrough happens so might as well make the best of the time." Cassidy said.
"Yeah….um…Wanna do that motorcycle game?" Gregory said pointing to a cab with two bike seats for the Fast and Furious superbikes arcade game.
"Oh sure! Now in this one, I won't go easy on you, Roxanne thought me how to ride." Cassidy said grinning.
"We'll see about that!" Gregory said grinning as the two ran over to the game cabs and sat on the bikes, swiping their game passes in the reader.
Faux Roxanne made her way inside the mall, parking her bike outside, a few patrons were mistaking her for the real Roxanne Wolf, stopping to take photos of her with their cell phones as she walked through without a care in the world.
She was making her way to the Round 1 arcade.
