Stepping out of the shuttle, Montmorency and Louise found them in a place that seemed reminiscent of a cave. If said cave was made out of metal and had higher ceilings than even the largest castle they had ever seen. The floors were a dark reddish brown color, while the vaulted ceilings around them were of dull iron in looks. The actual hall itself was like a cave in that it had sections that looked larger, but narrowed down a but before connecting to anther, similar area to both sides. Above in the vaulted upper areas there were strange machines and walk ways, while around the area the shuttle had landed upon there was another shuttle of a similar, yet somehow older looking design.

And everywhere they looked they saw monsters. Beast-kin of various types, masses of tentacles, floating brains with limbs, giant insects of various looks, and many other creature that they would have a hard time to even begin to describe walked sound doing work or going places alongside others like them, those not like them, and even alongside humans, dwarves, and even what looked to be a couple elves of all things. Though they looked older than elves were said to, and more horrid somehow.

"Are those, elves?

"What are all of those things?"

Montmorency and Louise said at the same time, causing Musashi to look concerned for a moment

"Everyone you can see are different races of the galaxy, different people just like you and I," He began to say as he stepped over to the two girls and knelt down before them. "Some, like the elves you spotted, are insular and xenophobic, distrusting others, while just as many can be friendly and welcoming everyone is different, and while I know you may have preconceptions about some things, you may need to hold them back, or disregard them unless you want t o insult someone without meaning to. Do you understand?"

"I-" Montmorency started to say, only to glance back down from the landing pads at the many dozens of peoples. To her eyes almost all of them looked like monsters, or worse, creatures like the elves. But as she looked to Musashi and his crew, she could see no such worries or disgust in their eyes. They looked totally at peace, calm even. To them, all those creatures, were just people.

But could they be to her?

Montmorency looked to Louise to see that she had a mixed expression on her face as well, likely having similar thoughts to her.

"I will try, though I admit I cannot guarantee anything," Louise said suddenly, making Montmorency gape in surprise at hearing such words.

"That is all I ask, as I am sure before we are done here you will meet many different kinds of races while here on Absalom. It would be pretty bad if you were to insult someone her that is trying to help you, just because of how they look, no?"

Montmorency immediately had mixed feelings at Musashi's words. On one hand she felt bad because that was exactly what she was doing, but on the other, they were walking animals and floating brains and elves, what else was she supposed to do but be wary of them at minimum?

"It. . .would," Louise said as she glanced off the landing platform to where a couple elves were standing at a wall, speaking only to each other it seemed and eyeing all who passed them. "But it will not be easy, since only humans were considered people in our lands."

"Because there only were humans in yours, yes?" Marila asked gruffly as she glanced around as if waiting for something.

"Y-yes," Montmorency found herself speaking up, to even her own surprise. "Halkeginia is land of only human nations."

"Designates Montmorency and Louise are not incorrect in their thoughts based upon their own cultures. However cultural axis must be tempered for proper communication amongst species of the galaxy," Emden stated in its metallic tone as its head suddenly darter to look up. "Approach of Starfinder Society Tram inbound."

"About time, we've only been here since before they were supposed to be," Jarskat said in annoyance with a shake of his head, leading both Montmorency and Louise to look around in confusion.

"Uh, is it a carriage or something?" Louise asked as she did see a couple objects that looked like smaller versions of the shuttle nearby on the lower roadway areas below the pads.

"Yes, but not in the way you are expecting," Musashi said with a grin. "Try looking up."

Both girls did, and instantly went wide eyed as they say a large boxlike thing sliding along the underside of a huge beam. It stopped almost right above them allowing another array of beams to connect to it, and a second later it began lowering down toward them, only slowing down just before it landed at the back of the platform with a light hiss.

"What?" Louise said in confusion as the side of it opened up and a human woman stepped out of the box. She was wearing a similar full body suit to Montmorency and Louise, though her's appeared armored on sections, making it look more bulky and less revealing. Her skin was a sort of bronzy color, and her hair was dark black, giving her a very exotic look in the girls minds.

"Musashi, captain of the Telicherry, correct?" She asked as she walked toward the group, the shifting of her hips making Louise notice that she was openly carrying a small pistol on her waist it looked like.

"Yes, thank you for coming to pick us and our guests up," Musashi said as he gestured to Montmorency and Louise.

The woman looked at the girls and strode over, making them both realize just how tall the woman was, she was taller than even Louise's own mother! As she go to them she let out a sigh and knelt down in front of them." Hello girls, my name is Alexandria. I am the Starfinder Societies Primitive Conservation officer for humanlike species. I know it has been hard, but I will do my best to get you home, alright?"

"Thank you," Montmorency said as she and Louise both gave Alexandria a bow each.

"Of course, it is my job and I have been doing for a few years now," Alexandria said with a warm smile as she stood back up. "Now then, if you all would follow me, we can head to the Starfinder Society conservation offices and begin."

"Of course," Musashi said as everyone followed Alexandria into the box, though Louise and Montmorency looked a little wary as they entered and found that it was full of seats, with one larger one at the front with a being similar to Emden in it. Though very different in shape. The box then began lifting back upwards towards its rails, and once it connected it began moving along the rail.

"You girls will want to look out these windows," Alexandria said as she tapped the left side of the trams windows with a smile. "Seeing Absalom is quite a treat the first time."

Louise and Montmorency moved slowly from the center of the tram to its one side beside Alexandria, finding the tram to appear to be moving but feeling it to be a bit unnerving. For a bit all they could see was the metallic walls around the tram and the landing area below there were monsters and creatures walked and worked.

And then in the next a flash of light momentarily blinded them before they were able to see a massive city. Spires of black and white with shining lines and squares all over them rose from dark lower areas filled with people, plants and darkness. The sky was an aquamarine with the stars glittering past it, and floating around the buildings seemingly by magic were great glowing sheets of light that advertised goods and items that neither girl knew what they were

"What . . .this is a city?!"Louise exclaimed in wonder and confusion as she stared at the buildings of silver and then saw shuttles flying about between them.

"How, how far does does it go?" Montmorency asked at almost the same time as she pressed her forehead against the glass, looking down below at the city. "I can't see the bottom."

"it is down there, merely below the layers of greenery that help oxygenate the station," Alexandria said with a smile that seemed almost melancholy when Louie looked at her.

"And, people live in all of those towers?"

"Not quiet, most of the towers you can see are government or cooperate buildings," Alexandria responded as she turned and pointe to a very rectangular and almost stubby in compare building that was near the edge of the circular city. " for example, that building we are heading to, is the Starfinder society office."
