The Starfinder office was a clean and beaurocratic seeming place of work and effort. Little space was wasted, and as soon as they were off the tram the group was escorted by another few people to a nice sitting room, while Louise and Montmorency were then led into an adjacent room separated only by thick glass walls. The room had similar machines to the Telicherry's medical bay, including large biopods that they were asked to get in, but did not need to take their clothes off for. They also took only minutes to finish scanning them, another couple minutes to ask a variety of medically inclined questions, respectfully ask for blood samples, and then were done.
With the medical checks at least.
As they were done the girls found themselves seated in the room at a table with Alexandria across from them, and an Android behind her on some kind of machine, tapping it as they answered question. Their names, those of their families, of their extended family. Information about Halkeginia, its countries, nations, biomes, weather patterns, celestial objects and organizations. The greater world they knew about, their cultures technology, how their magic worked, how long the year was. The questions went on and on.
They were easily provided with drinks of water, so clear and refreshing it shocked both girls, and with snacks and a meal as the conversation continued for literally hours just about their world and culture.
And then the conversation turned toward their kidnapping. They were asked how it happened the importance of the Springtime summoning ritual that was interrupted, and then everything that occurred within the Grey ship. It was difficult, but after telling of what occurred they then moved onto how they were saved and what occurred till the now.
Once that was done the Doctor that was With Alexandria, an Android, requested both girls to come back into the medical bay to speak with him. With a nod of agreement from Musashi and Alexandria they followed him back into the medical room, Leaving Alexandria in the room with Musashi and his crew, while the Glass wall separated them from the girls and made their voices inaudible.
"You are aware of what the Greys put in their heads?" Alexandria asked calmly, though something about her tone was tense.
"A Torenascu, yes, we are aware," Musashi answered.
"Then you are aware the situation is concerning?"
"Strange, but we did not think concerning," Jarskat stated simply.
"Every human primitive saved in the last year from Grey's has had a Torenascu put into them," Alexandria stated coldly.
"What?" Musashi asked in surprise. "How many?"
"Dozens," Alexandria said with a shake of her head. "Grey abducting has been massively spiking for the last few years, but its only this last year we have found so many primitive humans, all with Azlanti tech put into their heads. Many from primitive worlds we had not even found until then."
"Designate Alexandria. Does the Society believe the Azlanti are attempting something?" Emden asked.
"Of course they are, the problem is that we have no idea. After the last war they had they were hurting pretty badly, and the only thing that anyone can think of is that maybe they are working with the Greys to indoctrinate primitives or something. But with the Azlanti superiority complex, it seems unlikely."
"Damn, nothing van be simple," Musashi grumbled before deciding to change the conversations direction. "How many more questions will you need to ask those two?"
"depends on what the system says," Alexandria replied. "Systems already working on it. earliest we'll know is in a couple hours, otherwise it could be days."
"Then I hope for their sake it works quickly. Those two have been through a lot, though I suppose anyone in such a situation has," Musashi said with a sigh. " What di your Doc need them again for anyway?"

"So, what did you still need to ask us?" Louise asked as she and Montmorency sat down at the small table in the medieval room. The doctor, who had not been introduced to them, immediately went over to a machine with a glowing pane of glass on it as the door to the room closed behind them on its own.
Which was still very unnerving.
"I noticed some, irregularities in your bodies when I was doing the initial tests. Nothing drastic or dangerous, I just want to be sure of them, that is all," The Doctor said simply before speaking up again. " You both said you are sixteen or your worlds years old, correct?"
"Yes."
"And your land uses a 384 day calendar, sectioned into 8 day weeks?" The doctor asked as he poked the keys on one of the machines panels. " Odd. . . . . . what sort of meals were common for you both while growing up?"
"The normal meals," Montmorency said before starting to list them off. "Wheat or rye bread, Eggs, meat, carrots, cabbage, wine, biscuits,"
"I understand, the doctor says as he let out a hum of concern at the machine in front of him. "Perhaps this should have been my first question. Were the two of you shorter, or less grown than other girls of your age on average?"
"What kind of question is that!?"Montmorency yelled in anger, immediately moving an arm in front of her chest.
"The computer is making both of you as underdeveloped for your ages, I am trying to discern why, because if it is accurate then I need to make sure you are healthy as a medical professional."
Both girls, surprised by such an answer, stared at the Doctor for a moment before Montmorency look to the side. " Well, we are the shortest in our year."
"And it's not like either of us have a whole lot I the womanly assets area either," Louise added much to Montmorency's annoyance."
" I see. So, perhaps it is environmental, but no that wouldn't explain . . . .hmmm. girls, how often do the both of you get sick?"
"Rarely," Louise answered first. "I think I've only been sick once."
"Same, many of my family gets sick, but I rarely get anything worse than an upset stomach," Montmorency added.
"Is it the same for you?" The doctor asked as he looked at Louise. Your family getting sick when you do not I mean."
"My, my eldest sister is always sick, but otherwise my family is quiet hale and hearty."
"hmm, strange. Perhaps. . . . . I believe your growths have been stunted in some way, though I am uncertain as to how. I will advise our people to increase your meal sizing's as a way to help counteract it."
"What? What are you talking about?" Louise asked in confusion.
"Ah, it will be explained shortly, but simply put, until your world is found or not, Alexandria will likely ask for you to stay here under her care as is the norm," the doctor said as he glanced to the glass wall. "and speaking of, it appears she would like you out there."
Both Girls looked to the window to see Alexandria standing by it, and upon seeing them, waved toward them. They walked up to the door, it sliding open on its own, and stepped out of the room to see Musashi looking at them with an odd expression.
"Something wrong?" Prompting Louise to speak.
"No, just, well," Musashi gestured Alexandria who was standing by the girls, beside the door.
"I have set up our computers to cross reference the information you have given us. For now we need to wait on the computer to do its thing, and may need to ask more questions to narrow down the results it gives. As such, we would like you both to stay here while this is occurring."
"You would like, so . . . we get a choice?" Louise asked carefully.
"You would," Alexandria said with a nod. " The captain of the Telicherry has offered for himself and his ships doctor to stay here while we are looking into your Homeworld location.
Louise and Montmorency shared a look before Montmorency spoke. "This, is so we can keep telling you about thing to get home, right?"
"That is correct."
"then," Louise looked at Montmorency, who nodded. "We accept."
"Wonderful, lets get you a full proper meal, and then I will show you around!"
