11 June, L.A, California

Snow White stood before the full-length mirror in her cozy apartment. The soft morning light filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a gentle glow upon her delicate features as she prepared for another day at the HUNGRY HAVEN.

Dressing herself in the familiar uniform of a waitress with her straight hair resting comfortably on her shoulders. Snow couldn't help but smile as today felt really different and special. Snow reached out and picked up a delicate pendant from the table. It was a small, intricately crafted silver pendant in the shape of a snowflake. A soft smile curled Snow's lips as she admired the pendant, tracing her finger along its intricate patterns. It was more than just a piece of jewelry; it was a gift from someone, someone SPECIAL. With a renewed sense of joy, Snow gently fastened the pendant around her neck. The cool silver rested against her skin, a comforting weight that reminded her of someone.

With a final touch of lip gloss, Snow cast one last glance at herself and she stepped out of her apartment and into the bustling streets of Los Angeles.

Snow White entered the Hungry Haven, her steps faltering slightly as she approached Regina, the manager of the restaurant. Regina's stern gaze locked onto Snow, her expression filled with an unexplained animosity.

"You're late again, Snow White," Regina snapped, her voice laced with annoyance. "This is the third time this week. What's your excuse this time?"

Confusion filled Snow's eyes as she protested, "But Regina, I'm not late. I arrived at the scheduled time."

Regina crossed her arms, her tone dripping with skepticism. "Don't try to play innocent with me, Snow. I've been keeping an eye on you, and I know you've been cutting it close every day. It's unacceptable."

Snow's brows furrowed in frustration. She had been punctual, even arriving early on most occasions. She couldn't fathom why Regina was singling her out like this.

"Regina, I assure you, I've been arriving on time," Snow insisted, her voice filled with determination. "I take my responsibilities seriously, and I wouldn't jeopardize my position here."

Regina's eyes narrowed, suspicion evident in her gaze. However, a flicker of doubt passed over her face, causing her to soften her tone slightly. "I don't want any slackers in my kitchen, Snow. We have a reputation to uphold. If you're not reliable, there will be consequences."

Snow White took a deep breath, her voice filled with determination as she implored, "Regina, please check the logs. I have been on time, even early, every day. There must be a misunderstanding or miscommunication somewhere."

Before Snow could finish her sentence, Regina interrupted her, her patience wearing thin. "Oh, Snow, always finding excuses, aren't you? I have more important things to do than waste my time investigating your punctuality. Just get back to work and stop bothering me with your petty complaints."

Snow's hopeful expression faltered as she realized that Regina wasn't willing to listen or address her concerns. She felt a mix of disappointment and frustration but knew that arguing further would only worsen the situation.

As Snow White turned to resume her work, her mind still reeling from Regina's rudeness, she accidentally crashed into a stranger passing by. Papers scattered across the floor, and Snow quickly bent down to help gather them, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

"I'm so sorry," Snow apologized, her voice filled with sincerity as she extended her hand to the man she had collided with. "I didn't see you there. Are you okay?"

The man, whose name was David, seemed startled by the collision. His glasses askew and a stack of papers clutched tightly in his hands, he took a moment to collect himself before accepting Snow's hand and rising to his feet.

"It's fine, really...I'm fine," David replied, a hint of surprise in his voice as he gazed at Snow. "I also should have been watching where I was going."

Snow smiled warmly, her initial embarrassment fading away. "That's so nice of you to say. Let me help you gather your papers."

As Snow was helping David with his papers, Regina approached them with an urgent tone in her voice. Snow looked up, her expression curious yet attentive.

"Snow," Regina called out, her voice carrying a sense of urgency. "There's someone here to see you. They specifically asked for you by name."

Snow exchanged a quick glance with David, a flicker of surprise crossing their faces. Wondering who could be looking for her, Snow gently placed the papers in David's hands and stepped towards Regina.

"Do you know who it is?" Snow asked, her voice filled with curiosity. "I wasn't expecting anyone."

Regina shrugged, her face displaying a rare hint of intrigue. "No idea. They didn't mention their name, but they seemed quite insistent on seeing you. I told them you were occupied, but they insisted on waiting."

Snow nodded, her mind racing with possibilities. With a mixture of anticipation and caution, she followed Regina towards the entrance, where her unexpected visitor awaited.

Standing by the door was a woman, her fiery red hair cascading around her shoulders, her gaze intense and searching. As Snow approached, a flicker of recognition passed between them, as if a long-lost connection had suddenly been rekindled.

"Red?" Snow whispered, her voice filled with both surprise and delight. "Is it really you?"

The woman, known as Red, nodded, her eyes shining with a mix of emotions. "Snow, it's been far too long. I've been searching for you."

Snow and Red held each other tightly, the bustling restaurant faded into the background, and their shared history became the focus. They exchanged stories, laughter, and tears, catching up on all the years they had spent apart.

As Snow and Red continued their heartfelt conversation, catching up on lost time, Red couldn't contain her excitement any longer. With a mischievous grin, she leaned in closer to Snow, her eyes sparkling with a secret she could no longer keep.

"Oh, Snow, let me tell you why I am actually here. I have something incredible to tell you," Red exclaimed, unable to contain her enthusiasm. "Remember that audition you did for Romeo and Juliet? You got selected! You're going to be a part of the film!"

Snow's eyes widened in surprise, a mix of disbelief and joy washing over her. "No way! Are you serious, Red? I can't believe it!"

Red nodded eagerly, her excitement contagious. "Absolutely serious! They were captivated by your audition. You were born to play Juliet, Snow. This is your chance to shine!"

Snow's heart raced with a whirlwind of emotions. The prospect of starring in a beloved classic like Romeo and Juliet was both thrilling and intimidating. She never imagined that her passion for acting would lead to such an opportunity.

With a grateful smile, Snow turned to Red, her voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Red. You've always been my biggest supporter. I couldn't have done it without you."

Red grinned, embracing Snow once again. "And now you get to do what you always wanted to do - QUITTING THIS STUPID JOB."

Snow replied in relief,"YES."

Someone taps on her shoulder from behind.

Snow turned and saw a man standing there.

The man's smile grew warmer, and he took a step closer, his eyes searching hers. "Snow, it's me. Graham. Your husband."

Snow's heart skipped a beat as she heard those words. Her mind raced, trying to comprehend the revelation. A flood of questions and emotions surged within her, but there was no immediate recognition of the man before her as her husband.

"I'm sorry," Snow stammered, her voice filled with uncertainty. "I don't even know you."
