I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics even more they made me fall for the whole franchise. Whether I will have Oc's in the fic or not depends entirely on how the story goes.

Chapter 11

"H-how may I be of service to u t-today?" The clerk at the counter of the jewelry store they had entered asked with a very panicked and fearful gaze pointed at Naruto.

Ino had found this to be a recurring factor whenever someone in their early twenties to their forties saw Naruto, even teachers in the academy use to act like that in their first few years of the academy.

"Yes, you can my good lady." Naruto replied evenly, Ino would think he didn't hear the fear in the lady's voice but he was too smart and observant to not notice it.

"I'd like to see your most beautiful necklaces." Ino's eyes widened as she now understood what Naruto meant by 'completing her sexy outfit.' Ino blushed.

"R-right this way, sir." The clerk instructed with fear still present in her voice. Ino couldn't ignore the fear the lady had for her Golden boy and frowned wondering what might have caused the woman to behave that way. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice when Naruto took her hand into his and intertwine their fingers together until he gave a little squeeze, she looked up at him and he smiled sweetly at her.

"What's wrong Ino-Chan?" He asked her. Ino wanted to shout at him and ask how he could ask that when the clerk was scared shitless of him but stopped herself because she didn't want to ruin her day. With reluctance, she shook her head and slowly dragged him towards where the clerk had gone.

"Here are our finest pieces sir." Ino huffs, at least the lady was professional enough not to stutter when displaying their products to a potential customer.

"Which one would you like Sunshine?" Ino blinked at the new name in confusion and looked up to Naruto who asked the question. She looked back at the pendants, necklaces, and bracelets on display and then looked at the tags, they were really expensive.

Ino felt bad and quite uncomfortable as she saw one she liked, a pearl necklace with a deep blue diamond pendant in a gold square casing. At the same time though it was so expensive she couldn't possibly ask Naruto who was an orphan to buy her that.

"I think she likes that one." Naruto said pointing at the necklace Ino was staring at. Ino gapped at him, and Naruto chuckled at her expression. "We will be taking that one please." He added and Ino saw the clerk gaping as well.

"A-are y-yo-u sure sir?" The clerk asked losing her composure, Ino couldn't blame her. She herself was speechless, Naruto then surprised her again by removing his hand from hers and making a cross seal winking at her as in a puff of smoke a clone appeared next to him, Ino looked on in confusion until.

"My lady." The clone bowed at her and took her hand in its hand, actually touching her physically causing Ino to widen her eyes in shock as the clone bent over and kissed her hand. The clerk was also openly gaping at the doppelgänger.

"Don't be stupid or I'll dispel you." The original told the clone as a matter of fact who rolled his eyes and saluted.

"Yeah yeah boss, ugh why am I so bossy?" The clone asked looking to Ino for an answer, said girl just stared. "Mmh I think you broke her boss." The clone told his creator before dashing out of the store in a full sprint.

"W-what was that?" Ino managed to squeak out and Naruto laughed before shrugging.

"Naruto…." Ino warned and the boy laughed louder as he raised his hands in surrender.

"That was a shadow clone Ino-chan, it's a replica of myself that cuts my chakra in half and is able to interact with the physical world."Naruto explained as he took Ino's hand into his once more and intertwined their fingers together, the clerk did not even hide the fact she was listening in.

"Where is it, ugh 'he' going?" Ino looked over to the clerk and nodded at the woman she saved her the time and brain power needed to ask the question herself.

"He went to collect the money for the necklace." Naruto replied smoothly pointing at the item in question and the woman blinked looking at the boy, then at the item then at the tag.

"You can afford that?" The woman asked disbelieving and the boy shrugged at her concern.

"Goldie-kun, it's very expensive, you don't have to do this you know we can just get a cheaper one." Ino told her date because honestly, she did not want to make him spend his savings just to get her something she liked.

"Don't worry about it Ino-Chan I want to do this. I told you we have to complete your outfit and this looks great. Don't worry about the price I got that covered." Naruto reassured her giving her a chaste kiss on the cheeks blowing her worries out the window as she blushed, the store clerk inwardly cooed at the cute display.

"Besides your treating me to ramen the foods of the gods, think of this as a thank you because there's nothing better than ramen I don't have to pay for!" Naruto exclaimed with a belly laugh and Ino smiled, the store clerk decided there was nothing to fear. He was just a kid no matter what was sealed within him.

Fifteen minutes later the clone returned with a scroll, inside the scroll was a suitcase and inside the suitcase was ryo lots and lots of ryo the clerk showed her greed as she grabbed the case and hugged it between her breasts swaying left and right as though rocking a baby in her arms.

Naruto and Ino laughed at the display and after ringing the item in, the clerk handed the case with the necklace to them immediately Ino grabbed the case, opened it, and handed it to Naruto who looked at her in confusion.

"I think she wants you to put it on for her." The clerk decided to help her new favorite customer she was so definitely getting a raise for selling that necklace, Konoha was full of cheapskates.

Ino was bouncing on the balls of her feet in excitement 'when Sakura sees this she will trip.' Ino thought giddy as Naruto walked up behind her and brought the necklace over her face before clicking it into place.

Ino ran to the closest mirror she could find and looked at her reflection and squealed in excitement, Naruto and his clone gave each other a high five grinning like fools before the clone dispelled itself.

"It's beautiful Goldie-Kun, thank you so much!" Ino jumped on the boy's back and began giving him butterfly kisses all around his face. While Naruto blushed and laughed in embarrassment.

The two of them left the store soon after hand in hand heading off to Ichiraku ramens, Naruto looking even more excited with the prospect than Ino was with her new accessory.

Itachi knew something was wrong the moment his little brother walked past him without a word. The thing that made it stranger was the fact Sasuke had his new forehead protector wrapped around his forehead. Itachi would have thought the boy would be more excited but he looked like he had better things to worry about.

He watched as Sasuke moved around the house like a lost puppy and Itachi decided not to question it, he knew his brother would not give him a straight answer. Besides, he was too cool for that beating around the bush thing, Itachi decided to observe.

The afternoon came and went with Sasuke acting stranger and stranger by the hour like he was expecting something. But when 8 pm hit Sasuke became focused like a man on a mission and Itachi narrowed his eyes at the change.

'What are you up to little brother?' Itachi wondered in his mind

The boy was good, Itachi would give him that he snuck out of the house just when the rest were making it to bed at 9 in the evening, but because Itachi could see the signs of suspicion he saw the boy sneak out of the house dressed in black.

Itachi followed, he had nothing better to do. He had resigned or more specifically had been retired from his duty as Anbu and would be reassigned tomorrow and given his next assignment.

The streets of Konoha were lively today people were celebrating the new genin corps. Itachi rolled his eyes, the people of Konoha would always find a random reason to go bat shit crazy drinking, and partying, and end up hugging trees as they threw up the contents of their stomachs. No wonder other nations called them tree huggers.

Sasuke was taking the alleys to move around the busy streets and Itachi wondered where his little brother was going. Eventually, though Sasuke came to a halt and Itachi stopped as well a few blocks away keeping a distance.

He was confused as to why Sasuke was heading towards the Hokage's administrative building and before long the boy began sneaking in, Itachi had a bad feeling about it but wanted to know what the motives were.

He snuck in as well using his Anbu skills to remain hidden from Sasuke.

Not knowing he had a tail on his back. Sasuke Uchiha slowly snuck his way inside the Hokage's office, the man was not in as he had gone home earlier than usual just like Mizuki had said he would.

The alarms to the office would go on after three seconds of the door closing unless he immediately went over to the picture of the first Hokage and ran his chakra into it. Mizuki had informed him of that as well and so Sasuke without a second thought ran towards the picture ready to place his palm on its surface and run his chakra inside.

Itachi who was hiding in the shadows under a genjutsu, Had his eyes widen in shock when he saw Sasuke going to disarm the alarms. He immediately rushed forward and grabbed the boy's hand before it reached the portrait then making some one-handed seals he released his chakra into the room disarming the alarm with his own "passcode."

"What do you think you're doing Sasuke?" Itachi's voice was grave, and Sasuke's eyes widened in shock as he looked into his brother's Sharingan eyes.

"Itachi I-I……" Sasuke was speechless and scared shitless at being caught in the act. His words would not come out his mouth and not a second later he felt tunnel vision and his world twist and turn before finding himself on top of the Hokage monument.

Sasuke felt his dinner rush to his throat and he fought to keep it down, being grateful he succeeded. Itachi let him catch his breath, looking at him carefully.

"Explain." Though Itachi's voice was calm and collected Sasuke could hear the burning anger hidden in it and he gulped feeling scared of his brother for the first time.

"Where did you get the information about the alarms in the Hokage's office?" Itachi demanded of his little brother with the tomoe in his Sharingan eyes spinning slowly in a hypnotic manner.

"I-I was……" Sasuke was shaking in fear, he couldn't form a coherent sentence.

"Speak Sasuke!" This time Itachi raised his voice and Sasuke flinched in fear and shock before responding in a whisper. Itachi looked even angrier when he didn't make out a word of what Sasuke said.

"Mizuki sensei told me about it." He repeated louder and Itachi heard him. Sasuke looked up at his brother and saw him looking murderous. "He was just trying to help me out, that's all." Sasuke immediately added when he felt the killing intent leak off Itachi.

"Do tell me how exactly helping you sneak into the Hokage's office is 'helping'. " Itachi gritted out, this was the first time Sasuke saw Itachi show so many emotions.

"It was to help Hinata." He admitted quietly to his older brother who looked at him like he was stupid and Sasuke felt obliged to explain himself. "He said there was a Jutsu in the scroll of sealing that could cure blindness." Sasuke didn't know how Itachi managed to look at him like he was even more stupid.

"Foolish little brother, there is no such Jutsu in the scroll of sealing." Itachi scolded deactivating his Sharingan and looking at his brother in pity.

"Sasuke he lied to you, he played with your feelings for the Hyuga heiress to get what he wants, that alarm you were about to disarm was gonna leave a trickle of chakra in your pathway that Torture and intelligence would be able to track," Itachi explained slowly, rubbing his eyes in exasperation as it seemed his little brother was not as smart as he liked to think.

"What?" Sasuke asked in shock and Itachi for the first time felt disappointment at his little brother, his pride and joy.

"Where is Mizuki now?" Itachi ventured and Sasuke feeling angry at Mizuki and especially himself for being played like that, told Itachi where they were supposed to meet up.

"Good. Come let's go capture the traitor." Itachi said and Sasuke's eyes widened in shock.

"You want me to come along?" He asked with awe in his eyes. He would be fighting alongside Itachi, this was a dream come true. A literal dream come true.

Itachi nodded and made his way down the monument and although the situation was looking bad for Sasuke he did crack a grin as he followed his older brother to the intended location.

"Hey Goldie-Kun isn't that Sasuke and his brother jumping through the rooftops, I wonder where they are going in such a hurry?" Ino asked as she sat on a stool next to Naruto who was slurping his ramen faster than you could say ramen.

"Another Ayame nee-san!!" Naruto exclaimed with vigor before turning to Ino. "Where? actually, I don't care. Where's my ramen nee-San!?"Naruto demanded, he had already had so much ramen Ino lost count but she was sure Ayame was keeping count for her and the bill would keep her up to date, she groaned as she figured come the end of the night she would be left penny less and in debt.

"Sorry, Naruto-Kun but we're out." Ayame said with a nervous sweat running down her brow, talking in a voice someone would use to inform another of a tragedy.

"What!!!" Naruto cried gravely and Ino smiled in relief, her wallet was saved, at least she wouldn't find herself in debt any time soon since Naruto had decided he was done spending for the day. Ino touched the necklace around her neck and rubbed the blue diamond on it with a smile. The joy that came over her had her jump on the boy and kiss him on his cheeks. Ayame began giggling and Naruto stopped his protesting.

They left the establishment after Ino had paid for the dinner and although her wallet saw a significant weight loss she was too happy to care.

Sasuke and Itachi arrived at the intended location with Itachi staying back while Sasuke went forward to meet with the traitor who was waiting for the Uchiha as he relaxed with his back against a tree.

"I see you failed Sasuke-Kun, I had higher hopes for you, maybe I should have sent the demon instead." Sasuke was confused by what Mizuki meant by a demon but let it go.

"You lied to me Mizuki, there is no such Jutsu in the scroll of sealing," Sasuke said with anger, he felt like jumping the man right there and then but Itachi said they needed information because a man like Mizuki wasn't the type to be a mastermind.

"Why did you lie to me?" Sasuke asked with gritted teeth and Mizuki laughed.

"You Uchiha's are so full of yourselves, you're all so quick to believe you are important and are meant for incredible things while the rest of us are fodder characters in your great legends!!" Mizuki said with anger as he pointed at Sasuke.

"Just look at how your stupidity brought you here to me without so much as a backup. What! did you think you would just come here, question me, and then walk away, or did you believe you would get answers from me and then bring me in?" Mizuki laughed throwing his head back and Sasuke balled his fists in anger.

"You know what, I'll tell you why I did what I did and then I'll kill you." Mizuki sneered at the Uchiha. "Though killing you would be a waste of my time, you don't even have a Sharingan eye I could pluck out and offer to my master." Even Sasuke thought that was a low blow, he was still sore at the fact he didn't awaken his dojutsu yet.

"Who are you working for?" Sasuke demanded of the man.

"A snake." Mizuki replied before drawing his Fuma shuriken and throwing it at Sasuke who jumped over the projectile but had to cross his arms above his head to block the kick aimed at the crown of his head.

Getting sent back down Sasuke landed on his feet before jumping out of the way as three shurikens embedded themselves in his previous location. He jumped back to gain some ground away from his previous sensei and locked eyes with him wondering where Itachi was.

"Not bad Uchiha." Mizuki spat the words like an insult, he walked up to his Fuma shuriken that was embedded in a tree and yanked it out of the trunk.

Sasuke stood his ground as he got into the interceptor fist stance. Mizuki scoffed as he took out a scroll, released a second Fuma shuriken, and charged the boy with the intent to carve out his organs.

The fight was the most intense Sasuke had ever been in, the man had a longer reach than he did and the weapons in his hands only added to that reach Sasuke couldn't attack he could only dodge. He did notice that Mizuki wasn't fast probably slower than him if they were to sprint, the only thing going for him was his reach.

Sasuke twirled around a thrust and drew a kunai which he threw at Mizuki in point blank range, the blade embedded itself in the man's left shoulder and Sasuke smirked when he drew first blood as he skipped backward to make some space between them.

"You know, your not all that." Sasuke mocked and Mizuki sneered as he yanked the kunai out of his shoulder and applied pressure to the wound.

"I'll kill you." He sneered rushing the Uchiha once more, Sasuke did the same and the fight continued. Sasuke dodged as best he could while Mizuki attacked. It went on for a few more seconds before Mizuki threw the Fuma shuriken in his left hand at the Uchiha in close range. Sasuke dodged by ducking but received a kick to the face for his trouble which launched him off his feet and took him 5 feet away.

Sasuke landed with a roll and something told him to keep on rolling he did exactly that only to hear a thud as the kunai he used on Mizuki embedded itself in his previous location. Quickly he rolled onto his back and flipped onto his feet only to find a Fuma shuriken heading for his skull.

Sasuke saw his life flash before his eyes. He saw his mother, father, brother, and even Hinata in his mind, as he thought he would die before making his family proud or telling Hinata how he felt about her but just then everything became slow while his vision became clear and he could see everything around him in great detail.

Sasuke saw the shock forming on Mizuki's face in slow motion as Sasuke twisted around the blow while turning his twist into a duck finding himself under the trust. He drew a kunai in his hand before jumping with the kunai raised above his head and burying it under Mizuki's jaw. Everything was in slow motion and in such great detail, Sasuke didn't miss a single detail of the fatal blow.

Mizuki gurgled and choked on his blood as he grabbed the kunai and yanked it out of his jaw causing his blood to spray out of the wound. Sasuke was showered by the blood as he jumped away. Mizuki looked at Sasuke in shock.

"Y-you little basta….." Mizuki didn't finish his sentence as the life left his eyes and he dropped dead with his blood pooling under him.

Sasuke was breathing hard, feeling exhausted and ready to drop. He looked at Mizuki's motionless body and finally realized what he had done, he threw up his dinner and looked away from the corpse closing his eyes.

Itachi came out of hiding and went over to Mizuki's body pulling out a scroll and sealing the traitor's body in it, the only evidence of transpired was the pool of blood which Itachi burnt with a fire Jutsu.

He then walked up to Sasuke and placed a hand on the boy's shoulder, the boy flinched and Itachi rubbed his shoulder in understanding. He then explained to Sasuke that he did the right thing and that Mizuki was a traitor who needed to be put down.

He also explained to Sasuke that he couldn't tell anyone about Mizuki because they would ask questions and he would be in trouble if they found out he tried to steal the scroll of sealing. After Sasuke had calmed down and promised to keep the events to themselves. Itachi then broke the news to his brother with a smile.

"Congratulations on unlocking your Sharingan foolish little brother," Itachi said as he poked Sasuke's forehead protector with his index and middle finger. Sasuke gaped at him at the news and then smiled.

Itachi grabbed Sasuke's shoulder as he shunshine away from the area. In the shadows of a tree branch hidden at a distance, deep blue eyes watched the scene in interest before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

There is another chapter, Sasuke has his Sharingan earlier than usual. Though Mizuki doesn't know it, he helped his students gain their two most reliable abilities " such a good teacher( sniff sniff)"

Naruto bought Ino some expensive jewelry and enjoyed his day while he used his shadow clone to gather some good blackmail material on the Uchiha siblings whether he will use it or not depends on how they 'behave'.

Next chapter later today or tomorrow? We will see. I'm the biggest fan of my own story so I want the author to spam chapters like my grandparents spammed kids...lol
