I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise.

Chapter 46

Temari looked on in shock as a pink-haired blur came forward and attacked her youngest brother. The most boggling part was the fact she was doing it alone. when she looked to the side at Kankaru her other brother she saw him gapping openly, mouth wide like he was seeing a ghost. Temari thought that might just be the case in a few seconds.

'This must be the stupidity of Leaf-nin.' Temari thought. Gara already had a wall of sand stopping the attack before it reached more than 3 feet. A fist had made contact with the sand wall and Gara of the sand instead of attacking immediately made an ominous threat to really drill it in that your death would be artistic.

"Your blood will please mother tremendously Konoha nin." Gara's hand-launched forward at speeds that Temari could follow and if need be counter or defend because it lacked speed. Temari shook her head because it didn't matter, the hand movements were just theatrics the real attack was the sand that launched forward like a wind bullet at the pink-haired girl who Temari noticed was younger than her.

Temari's eyes widened when the girl took a step back and launched herself away from the sand faster than her eyes could follow. The eldest daughter of the fourth Kazekage quickly swiped her head to the side just in time to see the girl in front of her as well. Temari ducked under a high kick before finding a leg coming down at her, she couldn't roll back because of her fan so she raised both hands crossed above her head to block the attack.

'A mirage clone!' Temari realized quickly when the leg phased through her guard. "Bitch." Temari swore, drew her fan, and placed it in front of her, a second later she heard thuds as shurikens got deflected by her fan's metal surface.

"It is a Mirage Clone technique!" Temari shouted at her brother kunkaru who stopped moving and let the shurikens thrown in his direction phase through the pink-haired clone and bounce harmlessly off the puppet he was controlling from inside the wrappings behind its back.

"Shit!" Temari weaved her head to the side at Kankuro's cuss and saw a Kunai in the mix of shurikens thrown at her brother laying next to him with an explosive tag. She grits her teeth in anger and drew her fan flicking it open with one hand in the process opening it and releasing a gust of wind perfectly aimed at the Tag. Cutting it off the Kunai and blowing it away, letting it explode above their heads because a forest fire could start.

"Kankuro if you get involved I will kill you…" Temari was not even the one spoken to but she cowered in fear because of the bloodlust radiating out of Gara. And with it, she saw her worst nightmare, that her little brother was gone and what stood in front of her attacking the pink-haired Konoha genin was in actuality the Tanuki wearing her brother's skin.

"Just let it go Kankuro, it's not worth it." Temari told the puppet master genin of Suna a prodigy in the puppeteering art who only nodded in resigned anger, balling his fists in the process.

'That was a nice strategy for a first encounter you had everyone in the team participating, kukuk.' Orochimaru laughed in glee in Sakura's head while she concentrated on the boy she attacked with no clue that he had a literal chakra beast sealed within him. Orochimaru called those information that only served negative purposes.

'What will you do now?' Orochimaru asked and Sakura had to think about it, she was all about attacking with a plan, that strategy she pulled, she has been working it over a lot with Kurenai sensei during the months now she had to go into plan B.

'Wait!' Orochimaru said quickly disturbing Sakura's concentration. Sakura threw herself to the left and rolled away from a torrent of sand that tried to break her ribs, she rolled a few more times before standing and dashing behind a tree leaving an explosive tag there. She was out of tags, Sakura sighed. Her allowance couldn't handle her beauty products and ninja gear at the same time, worse she didn't budget.

'What is it, Orochimaru-sama." Sakura asked politely, even though the Snake Sanin was a traitor he was still a legend and a hero during the third Shinobi war but most importantly a feared ninja. The sand that followed Sakura behind the tree was blasted by the explosive tag and in that Chaos, Sakura threw three shurikens at Gara the curse seal helping boost her throwing force.

'What did you try to do just now?' Orochimaru questioned seriously. Sakura watched her shuriken get absorbed inside the sand wall protecting the Kazekage's youngest son. The Haruno was smart, with her memory capabilities being very close to the Sharingan's memory engraving nature she would never forget something that happened a second ago.

'Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death, I was about to use that genjutsu.' Sakura revealed projecting her thoughts to communicate with Orochimaru making the snake Sanin hum in her head at the information gained. Sakura didn't know what was going on inside her mindscape so she took the hum as a breakthrough.

'Continue but instead of sending it out as an illusion tell your chakra this exact command, 'This is real.' make it believe that the genjutsu is in actuality a happening, and make it widespread as well my chakra will heighten its potency, then layer that genjutsu with an Image of the first Hokage coming out of the bushes, kukuku.' Sakura shrugged at the plan and concentrated on the task at hand she was faster than ever she could feel it in the way she reached things quicker. Sakura landed on a tree branch and went through hand seals.

'Dog, Snake, Monkey, Ox, Tiger. This is real, Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death.' Sakura felt her chakra get depleted but for the first time it didn't bother her because the abundance still available was plenty enough, she weaved her chakra into an illusion and layered another on top of it her most chakra-intensive jutsu. It didn't even touch the pool Orochimaru had given her and that was only temporary.

Gara stopped in his tracks and began looking around, he experienced the first Hokage jump out of a bush confusing him as he wondered if the guy came back from the dead. Hashirama Senju took a stance with his palms together before a tree sprung out of the ground behind Gara and coiled around him, preventing him from moving.

Sakura watched as an image of her appeared from inside the tree and because Gara was immobile it strikes but Gara's sand which would never defend against a genjutsu, defended its master registering that the Kunai held in the illusion's hands could hurt Gara somehow. Sakura gritted her teeth not understanding the significance of what happened and poured more Chakra into the genjutsu creating another illusion on top of the first two which were one of the first Hokage and the other of the tree-binding Gara.

"You're illusions do not scare me!" Sakura jumped to the right as a wave of sand came crashing into her previous position. The civilian-born ninja quickly stood up and jumped up just in time to dodge another torrent of sand. On the other side, Kankuro screamed dodging an illusion of the first Hokage heading his way with a katana.

"Your little mind games won't work on us!" That was all Sakura heard before she was blasted by the force of a strong gust of wind that sent her careening back through the forest floor twisting and turning all the while Sakura heard Orochimaru laughing like a maniac at something in her head.

Team 10 walked up to the doorway of the large tower located in the middle of the forest of death being the first team to arrive. Team 10 had been lucky enough to find a scroll along the way, at first they assumed it was a trap. Ino taking charge of course gave the lazy Nara the task of retrieving the scroll, so Shikamaru using his shadow possession technique on an unsuspecting wolf had it retrieving the scroll for them after some funny maneuvers from Shikamaru.

Shikamaru was quick to figure out they had to open both scrolls at the same time. Ino was the one to open the earth scroll and Choji the heaven, a second later a puff of smoke appeared and when it cleared Asuma Sarutobi the genin-Sensei of team 10 was there looking at them in bewilderment before grimacing.

"Why did I bet on team 7 to be the first to arrive?" Asuma grumbled with Ino frowning at the mention of said team, she didn't pick up on the implications of her sensei's words. Choji was looking at Asuma expectantly and everyone knew why that was. Asuma Sarutobi previous member of the 12 guardians rummaged through his pockets only to come back empty-handed shrugging at Choji.

"You bet against your genin team?." Shikamaru questioned in a bored tone, with Asuma only looking at the Nara in anger, he lost a lot of money, and his team was not even in the back of his mind when he placed the bet. All that talk of team 7 during the last 2 weeks made him assume they were the ones to beat in the exams.

"Whatever." The Sarutobi tsk'd and lit a cigarette, taking a puff before blowing it out. "Congratulations on being the first team to make it to the tower yada, yada yada." Asuma raised his free hand and began making talking motions with it showing how much he cared at that moment.

"You will be staying here until the 5-day mark of the exams, yes. Ino there are showers, yes. Choji there is food and Yes. Shikamaru there are beds. You can enter……Puff!" Asuma spoke and only paused to drag smoke from his lit stick and At the 'puff' Asuma was gone in a puff of smoke indicating the normal Shuushine being used.

"Troublesome." Shikamaru mumbled with an audible sigh before making his way to the door and pushing it open, walking in with Ino and Choji flanking his sides. 'It won't be long before they start talking, troublesome teammates.' Shikamaru thought in resigned defeat as they walked down the hallway.

"Asuma-Sensei could not even congratulate us properly." Ino began and Shikamaru groaned, it would not be long until their sensei's words registered in the Yamanaka heiress's head. Then it will be a long long 5 days.

"Hey Shikamaru, do you know where the food is kept?" Choji asked making Shikamaru sigh. The genius boy wondered how he should know that when he was in the building for as long as they were.

"In the cafeteria maybe Choji." The Nara heir replied lazily and decided he needed to eat something too before heading to bed and hibernating for 4 days and a half.

"Did Asuma-Sensei say he placed a bet on Golden boy's team?" Shikamaru looked up at the ceiling and shook his head, wondering if he was born at the wrong time. Whether before the sage or after his generation he didn't care. His preferred world was where everything could be done with the aid of technology and all from the comfort of your home, the thought actually brought a smile to the Nara's face.

"Ino Yamanaka." The whole of team 10 looked to the side and was met with a man with gravity-defying silver hair and a forehead protector covering his left eye. Shikamaru wondered what Kakashi Hatake of the Sharingan was doing there calling his troublesome blonde teammate.

Orochimaru laughed in glee when he began seeing a picture. It was truly fascinating in a sense that kind of made Orochimaru angry that this perfect body was in the hands of a little kid with no ambitions except the Uchiha's affections. Orochimaru was too proud a person to notice the hypocrisy of his words because he too came to the leaf and focused most of his research and time on understanding Uchiha biology.

'Such talent, if she tells her chakra to do, it will do.' Orochimaru still remembered the event that took place when the genin cast the gentjutsu. He had never seen anything so beautiful like Chakra being weaved before. Orochimaru thought his heart skipped a beat and he might have blushed at the scene.

The dark abyss above flashed white revealing a giant version of this Haruno girl standing like a great Goddess looking down at Orochimaru from above, her Shape being the only thing available for him to see. With 9 stars running along her abdomen circling her naval.

She opened her eyes and the stars shot white-like beams at the different books with clan symbols Orochimaru recognized immediately. The Yamanaka, Inuzuka, Aburama, Uchiha, Hyūga, Nara, Akimichi, Kurama, and the Uzumaki. All these clan members were the Haruno girl's classmates, with the exception being the Kurama clan member. It meant at some stage of their academy years they all met a condition where she could absorb information on their chakra. Orochimaru saw the scrolls of each clan lighten up.

On the giant's forehead was a big kanji spelling out 'Shanaroo!' And she had an expression of extreme anger and authority. When she opened her mouth she screeched at the top of her lungs with such authority Orochimaru raised an impressed eyebrow.

"THIS IS REAL!!" She screamed out making the scroll with the Kurama clan symbol fly up and forward meeting with a star and engraving itself into the Goddess's abdomen. The beauty of science Orochimaru remembered thinking when his chakra in the curse seal made its appearance known in the form of a snake made up of chakra that was a sickly yellow like his eyes.

The chakra went through the scroll and entered the giantess, her chakra network was revealed with her chakra, or Orochimaru's chakra if you wanted to be specific. The chakra circled her pathways as she moved her giant hands like she was dancing before suddenly stopping. The Shanaroo began showing an image before everything went white. When the light went down Orochimaru smirked when the illusion played out in her head.

"This girl could just be my perfect host." Orochimaru mumbled in glee quickly dashing forward and shouting out.

"You! What are you?!" Orochimaru bellowed questioning the giant person.

"I AM INNER SAKURA! SHANAROO!!" It screeched out making Orochimaru's eardrums pop, but he felt no pain and instead smiled.

"KUKUKUKUKUK...Sakura-Chan let the sand capture you I will be there to assist you. I now understand, kukukuk." Orochimaru chuckled at the end of his order. Looking on as the Pink haired girl lost composure at his words due to the absurdity of it and almost fell. She quickly righted her footing but it was too late the sand was already grabbing her leg.

Orochimaru watched closely for any sign of change in the mindscape. Sakura was screaming and clawing at the sand trying to free herself and Calling on more And more of his chakra. Orochimaru's eyes widened when he saw a scroll in the distance fly out of the shelf and fly up into the giant figure's hand expanding and growing until it was a giant scroll she held.

The giant known as Inner Sakura grabbed the scroll unrolled it and began writing down some things Orochimaru couldn't see with a brown-colored chakra. When she stopped the scroll flew back down becoming smaller and smaller. Orochimaru's curiosity won the battle of wills not like he put up much of a fight and he jumped up catching the scroll before it could join the rest of the books on the shelf.

"The Kazekage clan. Kukukuku kkukukukukukukukykukukukukukukukukukukukukukukukukukuk!!!!!" The hysteria was on a level Orochimaru knew came in the form of an overdosage. He looked up at the giantess and found a new star laying in her abdomen now making it 10 in total.

"Help!!" Orochimaru was knocked out of his musing when he heard Sakura's cries for help inside her mindscape with the environment flipping and turning. The snake Sanin saw through her eyes that she was already submerged in the sand, Orochimaru acted accordingly he just found his precious person Aka Science project and soon-to-be new body Orochimaru couldn't let her die.

'You still have so much in you I need to know.'

Ino walked a few steps behind the silver-haired jonin who led the way leisurely while reading an orange book Ino knew nothing about. She wondered why she was singled out from her team and instructed to follow the Jonin. He said it was some important leaf business that was top secret and the way the silver-haired jonin said it you wouldn't know if it was serious or not.

"Why am I being summoned Jonin-San?" Ino asked speeding up in her steps so she was at least only a step behind him and to his side.

"That will be explained to you soon enough cute little genin." Kakashi said flipping a page of his book before giggling as he brought his face closer to the book to capture the contents of what was written. Ino raised a brow and wondered if the book was really that captivating.

"What are you reading?" Ino asked and Kakashi stopped in his steps, he closed his book with a snap and looked at Ino seriously bending forward to look her in the eyes before he eye smiled at the girl.

"Reading? I don't see anybody reading here, do you see someone reading?" The jonin asked and Ino blinked in confusion she looked to Kakashi's hands to find nothing in its grasp. The Yamanaka heiress looked at Kakashi Hatake seriously before sighing. Her interest peaked she wouldn't be satisfied until she figured out what was in that book.

"Icha Icha paradise the gourmet's 5 senses." Ino recited the title of the book out loud making Kakashi move his head to the side in confusion. " I will look for it in a bookstore." At that Kakashi's eyes widened in horror.

"Actually, the book is a limited edition copy only 3 were sold in the whole village I don't think you will find one." Kakashi told the Yamanaka with an eye smile. She only smirked at him, already catching his lie. Ino's talents with reading body language were revered even in her clan she was very observant.

"I don't mind searching." Ino stated easily at the Jonin she wasn't gonna be played for a fool that book had to be interesting if a Jonin could giggle like that and practically bury his face into the pages.

"You are a curious one." Kakashi said in taught remembering another person who was just as curious. "Have you ever heard the phrase, Curiosity killed the cat?" The scarecrow Jonin asked casually to the blonde heiress who only shrugged.

"Lucky for me I'm not a cat then." Ino replied and Kakashi gave her an eye smile, the girl had a mouth on her if Kakashi ever saw one and that was a characteristic he could appreciate.

"Touche…….. let's go meet your host Young Yamanaka heiress." Kakashi placed his hands in his pockets, shoulders slouched, back bent forward while he released a little intent he had gained called 'boredom intent' to annoy sticklers to the rules.

"Your a weird one." Ino remarked only gaining an uncaring shrug from Kakashi Hatake the copy ninja of Konohagaru. Though she wouldn't know that, Ino was not interested in that part of the ninja art she loved the information networks and intelligence side of the job.

Ino walked through the hallways of the tower seeing a bunch of swirly marks running around the walls and again her curiosity was peaked because she saw that mark a lot she knew. Looking at the Jonin she spotted the same insignia on his person. Lucky for the Yamanaka heiress she was not the shy type so if she did not have the answer her first go-to option was to ask.

"Jonin-San what do these symbols mean." Kakashi looked at Ino before looking to where she was pointing with such slowness even his blink took 5 full seconds to complete, Ino looked at the Jonin with some disdain she hated lazy people. Ino wished everybody was outgoing like Naruto.

'Golden boy' Ino began emitting killing intent Kakashi Hatake had the pleasure of witnessing, he blinked impressed at its ability to somehow attack your mind into believing you were in a situation. The girl would make a great interrogator.

Kakashi wondered what that was all about but he first had to answer the question asked.

"That is the clan symbol of one of Konoha's old Allie, they resided in Uzushiogakure the village hidden in the whirlpools but they are practically extinct now, mmm almost like my clan." Kakashi explained simply before he came to a realization offhandedly raising his hand to cup his chin in thought about the significance of being the last living member of his clan.

"I guess that makes me special and limited edition like my book." Kakashi Hatake wondered out loud looking happy to have something in common with his great book of literature.

Ino's sweat dropped at the man's behavior but she did wonder what exactly could have happened to the clan and with how their clan symbol was around so much in Konoha even more than the Uchiha and Senju clans who founded the whole village it must mean they had a significant role in the history of Konoha.

"Why are their clan symbol so potent in Konoha, you would think they built the village." Kakashi chuckled at the girl's words and decided to enlighten her curious mind. Kakashi liked seeing where people go with certain information given to them. The silver-haired Jonin liked to see if handed a certain situation would a person make the same decisions as him, then he would trace that mindset back to the day he lost his teammates to try and find closure.

"Because the Uzumaki Clan built the Village." Kakashi revealed making Ino's eyes widen when the name Uzumaki came up and a certain blonde came into mind.

"Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha only founded the Idea of a diverse village, the concept of a village was already something being done by the Uzumaki clan living in the village hidden in the whirlpools." Kakashi continued as he marched on not noticing Ino had stopped walking (Authors Note: or maybe he did notice, you can never know with that guy. Mmmmhhhh….anyways).

"Wait, wait wait a minute can you say that again." Ino asked dumbfounded as she ran after Kakashi who was still explaining away. Ino gritted her teeth and dashed past Kakashi before stopping in front of him glaring up at the Jonin, her bossy side showing its face.

"Mmmh……sorry…… did …..you…… say ……something? I ……was …….lost ……in …….thought explaining ……..to …….you …….about …….the Uzumaki ……..clan." Kakashi said this in a slow way that had him taking six-second blinks after every word to really drill it into Ino that this was a battle she didn't want to start. It was no wonder the ninja couldn't make a relationship work for longer than 3 months before they just walked out even the famed 'man tamer' Anko said it wasn't worth the effort one of those rare cases of lost causes.

Ino frowned narrowing her eyes up at the Jonin, hands open wide to block his path, she was about to open her mouth to speak when Kakashi made an act of realization, patting his head in mirth before turning to the left and opening the door next to him, he proceeded to walk in before turning around and blinking at Ino in faux confusion.

"We have arrived Hokage-Sama he called out." Sending Ino an eye smile, Ino only felt resolution she was gonna make this man tell her everything she wanted to know and more or else her name wasn't...

"Ino Yamanaka, please come in and take a seat." Ino gulped that was the Hokage's voice, questions began playing in her head, did she have some kind of hidden talent too as Sakura, her best friend of course told her all about her chakra's ability to listen to all her commands. She was happy for her friend so Ino took a step into the door to find the Hokage seating on a plain wooden chair with Kakashi now standing next to him and in front of the Hokage was a wooden chair where Ino was guessing she had to sit, this was looking more like an interrogation setting.

Authors notes:

And that's chapter 46 weave met team 7, team 8, team 9 and team 10 all this on the first day of the exams. Everybody is working something fishy behind the scenes and trying to advance their own agendas, not caring if it involves kids who have nothing to do with their plots but circumstances seem to call for it.

Is there really a difference between student and Teacher?
