I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise.

Chapter 64

"You have quite the able girl Hiashi-San." The Hokage complimented the head of the Hyūga clan. Hiashi Hyūga was not looking at him but over his shorter frame to spy his daughter carrying Naruto on her back running to the Hospital.

"I did not know you had another variation of the palm rotation." Hiruzen continued like nothing was wrong with the scene Hiashi had just walked into.

"You sent your Shinobi to hurt my daughter, Hiruzen." Hiashi said in an emotionless voice, Showing the Hokage that he did not like the Scene of Kakashi Hatake walking up to Hinata to apprehend the blonde.

"She is also a Shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village Hiashi-San." Hiruzen reminded the Clan head. "I think it is best you go see what the Medic-Nins found four blocks away and my deepest condolences." Hiruzen informed changing the subject even if by emotional manipulation. The death of Hiashi's father would leave him occupied.

"I will set up a meeting to discuss this issue further Hiruzen." Hiashi was blatantly showing disrespect to the Hokage by calling him by name but Hiruzen only nodded at the political threat and moved to his Shinobi, giving Hiashi his back to do so. Hiashi Hyūga showed no outward emotions and walked down the road in the opposite direction as the Hokage.

Hiashi traveled down the road seeing nothing unusual until he reached the third block, there he saw a trench in the road that led to a bent-over electric pole. That whole street until 6 blocks down the road had no electricity.

Hiashi saw Anbu moving quickly to repair the minimal damage in the darkness through the use of Ninjutsu and Paint. He spied an Anbu creating a new wooden pole to replace the one destroyed which did not surprise him because he has heard of the Anbu agent before. Hiashi looked to Kakashi Hatake who conversed casually with the wood release user. Hatake Kakashi is a perfect example of a quitter, the once-prodigious talent now left as a weak-willed man.

'INU.' Konoha's Anbu bloodhound, a killer of Babies, Husbands, and Wives, the master assassin with an aloof personality so people underestimated how dangerous he can be. Hiashi Hyūga did not trust the Uchiha by anything but name with his daughter.

'It must run in the family.' Hiashi thought thinking back to another weak-willed Hatake who decided to take his own life. Hiashi felt his daughter had more, excuse his language, balls, than these weak-willed 'comrades' of his.

Hiashi sighed and rubbed his eyes, when he looked up he was surprised to see medics rushing Kō away on a stretcher. A Medic-Nin was standing on the stretcher applying healing chakra to his chest While the two Medic-Nins who carried the stretcher dashed towards the village hospital.

"Somebody do something about that stomp." The Medic on the stretcher said in a hurried voice. Hiashi was not having a good night's sleep tonight, the clan head sighed and marched on.

"Is that what Hiruzen wanted me to see?" Hiashi thought looking toward the block where a group of Medic-Nin was located. He saw a maroon-haired girl with them, probably a failed genin who decided to be a medic-nin instead of giving up on the corpse completely.

"What is going on here?" Hiashi asked like the important person he is, and when the Medics looked at him they acted professionally because they recognized him immediately.

"Hyuga-Sama, we have bad news." A random older medic with graying hair and a wrinkled face that still managed to look handsome informed Hiashi looking solemn. The Medic stood in front of a body bag on the ground. Hiashi had a bad feeling about who might be inside.

Even in the Hospital Hinata found her frustration gaining ground as she tapped her foot on the tiled floor impatiently. The Medics on identifying who she had walked in with were not eager to help, they dragged their feet and made excuses that made no sense. Like the one, she was hearing now.

"I understand you ma'am but the Hospital is overbooked today due to an outbreak, we don't have any doctors available." Hinata glared at the man lying to her face. He was obviously lying, she felt his hate for the boy she loved. Hinata was sure if she asked him what Naruto had ever done to him he would not have an answer.

"I am Hinata Hyūga, heiress of the Hyūga Clan and I will hold you personally responsible for anything that happens to him." Hinata threatened using that privilege she had as a Hyūga who had their hand in many circles in the higher hierarchy of the land of fire.

"I will see what I can do." The man lied again and tried to walk away but Hinata felt his intentions of going to hide somewhere and let things play out.

"Where are you going ma'am?" The Medic asked when he found the Hyūga heiress trailing behind him.

"I am following you." Hinata replied smoothly unwilling to let the person play with her best friend's life. The Medic sighed resigning himself to doing his job.

Hinata felt she got what she wanted and craned her head to the left to see Naruto still fast asleep on her back. Hinata choked on her tears à second later and let them spill as she walked, they hurt her Naruto-Kun. The same people who should be thankful that he protects them from their bad fortune were all ready to cause him unimaginable pain when that fortune tried to bite them back.

"They will never hurt you again." Hinata whispered ominously, leaking killing intent that had the medic-nin straightening and picking up his speed now jogging towards a room. Hinata jogged along, she felt sad and asked herself why the world only ever responded to threats and fear and never love and affection.

"R-right t-this way H-Hyūga-Sama ma'am." The man stuttered out in fear opening a door for Hinata to walk in, she did not grace him with anything as she walked inside and placed Naruto on a bed. Hinata proceeded to tare Naruto's shirt.

"If I don't see a doctor here in the next 2 minutes I am coming to look for you." The Medic nodded and ran out of the room to do what he was told.

Hinata took a deep breath and glared at the little red box in Naruto's stomach and found herself looking at the Nine-tailed fox who lay casually in his wet prison making circles in the water with his left index finger while he stared her down, with a raised eyebrow.

"AM I TO ASSUME YOU ARE ANGRY GIRL." the air that carried the Kyuubi's voice was laced with power that had Hinata's vision taking 10 steps away from the giant fox. Hinata only glared before moving her vision 11 steps towards the fox.

"You changed Naruto-Kun." Hinata stated to the Kyuubi who scoffed unbothered by her tone, the Kyuubi decided to take it as a compliment instead, he was quite happy with the results.

"YOU ARE WELCOME, GIRL." The Kyuubi said unbothered now pushing Hinata 20 feet away. Hinata shook her head in sadness, she was not afraid anymore, the nine-tailed fox hurt Naruto.

"You are the most hateful creature I have ever met." Hinata began speaking both in the outside world and inside Naruto's landscape while she moved her vision 22 steps forward now looking into the Kyuubi's hate-filled eyes. "You are also the loneliest." The Kyuubi's eyes widened at the revelation. "The saddest, the most hopeful, and the most trusting." The Kyuubi glared leaking killing intent to push Hinata back 30 feet.

"None of that matters if you hurt Naruto-Kun." Hinata said dead serious, the Kyuubi did not care for her threats and roared throwing Hinata out of Naruto's mindscape. Hinata looked at Naruto's injuries and found them healed when she found herself back in the hospital.

"You hurt Naruto-Kun." Hinata said raising her hand with two fingers outstretched. "You hurt Naruto-Kun." Hinata repeated her eyes a glare that leaked tears before she strikes Naruto's stomach.

Hinata's fingers touched Naruto's skin and injected her chakra into his tenkentsu. The chakra traveled through the Tenkentsu, circling through the pathways to reach the Redbox and heading toward the gate that housed the Nine Tails.

"Ufff!!!" The Kyuubi found itself taking a heavy hit from an unknown force, the blow physically throwing his head to the left. Another blow followed and another and another the Kyuubi growled and roared again, throwing his chakra everywhere.

Hinata in the outside world took a step back when the energy pushed back her other hand that was coming back down to strike again. The Hyūga heiress glared and moved back in, now coming in with a palm strike that was laced with Chakra.

"Palm bottom!" Hinata called out just as a doctor walked into the room striking at Naruto's abdomen softly but sending her chakra through the boy's pathway once more.

This blow the Kyuubi felt, and it had him flying back and off his feet to do a backflip before landing back on its front with a splash. The Kyuubi was quick to get on all four and stare straight ahead waiting for another attack to come. The Kyuubi was not privy to time in his jail so he waited and waited.

Hinata found herself in a waiting room after being told she could not be in the room while the doctor worked. She didn't mind because she explained to the man she would have her dojutsu active at all times. The man understood it meant she would be keeping an eye on him.

Hinata looked at her hand which was simply an outline with a purple chakra pathway. She hurt the Kyuubi, she was so angry and disappointed at everyone and especially the chakra entity that she strike without thinking and it somehow worked.

"The fox already found itself a little bitch." Hinata heard a nurse around the corner whisper as they spied on her occasionally by peaking their heads out.

"All these rich people have these weird fetishes, a demon, really?" Another voice responded, Hinata paid them no mind. Naruto had taught her that it is okay to ignore people who speak ignorantly.

"In a few years I might just try to rescue her, she has more curves than you Mulan." Hinata sighed and looked away from the gossiping group of two female nurses and a male nurse. It did not help that she had to compress her vision because she almost saw something she did not want to see in the head doctor's office.

'Amy.' Hinata thought feeling a familiar presence turning another corner and approaching her position. A minute later the girl was in the same area Hinata was waiting in.

"Hinata? Hey girl, how's it been?" Amy said when she spotted Hinata Hyūga. The Hyūga heiress managed to look in her direction and give her a small smile. Hinata raised her hand and waved.

"I see you changed your look, though it looks like you still prefer baggy clothes." Amy was always a fashion-savvy kind of girl so Hinata didn't take her words to heart and instead multi-tasked, keeping an eye on Naruto while she conversed.

"It's nice seeing you too Amy, is this why you could not join us in the hot springs last time." Hinata began and Amy nodded which she saw due to her activated Byakugan.

"Yep! I am a Medic-Nin in training at your service. Woah is that your Byakugan." Amy exclaimed when she paid attention to Hinata's eyes. "They are so pretty but kind of scary looking." Amy chuckled when she said this and Hinata smiled appreciatively at what the girl was trying to do.

"What is wrong Amy-Chan?" Hinata asked the girl who was only sending her emotions that spelled out bad news.

"You were always quick to catch on to things." Amy sighed and rubbed her left arm with her right hand. "It's about your grandfather, he was found brutally murdered about an hour ago." Amy revealed and Hinata's eyes widened in shock. "I was just helping out the Medics on duty because the Hokage called an emergency drill." Amy told Hinata who knew what she meant by drill even if the auburn-haired girl did not know herself.

"Thank you for informing me." Hinata said in an emotionless voice and Amy's eyes widened at the dismissive tone.

"Hinata your grandfather was found brutally murdered and all you can say is, thank you for informing me?!" Amy asked raising her voice in disbelief and Hinata frowned.

"It will just take time to set in." The Hyūga heiress replied distractedly before she stood up when she saw a disturbance in Naruto's room. Amy blinked when Hinata stood up and turned to her before giving her a small thankful bow and walking away.

"What has got her so distracted?" Amy asked inflating her left cheek in annoyance before rolling her eyes and going back to work.

"What do you want here?" Hinata asked Fugaku Uchiha and an Uchiha she did not recognize from presence or outline. Fugaku turned away from the blonde boy sleeping peacefully on a hospital bed with a blanket draped over his body.

"You are not supposed to be here." The Uchiha accompanying Sasuke's father told Hinata professionally. "My apologies Fugaku-Sama I will remove her right away." The man said as he approached Hinata. The Hyūga heiress glared and let her katana slink from her sleeve, surprising the Uchiha adult.

"That won't be necessary Dan, this is Hinata Hyūga the boy's best friend." Fugaku told who Hinata now realized was the man who taught Naruto how to 'rap'.

"What do you want here?" Hinata asked again not liking how their emotions registered suspicion toward Naruto.

"I am sorry to inform you but…."

"I already know." Hinata cut off the police chief from continuing. "If that is all you wanted to tell me, you can please leave." Hinata was nice enough to open the door for them and leave it open with the use of her blade.

"Naruto Uzumaki is suspected of the crime, we are here only to collect clues." Fugaku replied seriously. Hinata would have gapped at the news if she was in any other emotional state of mind.

"He did not do it." Hinata told the chief matter of factly and Fugaku nodded at her opinion in the matter but he would rather let the evidence/ circumstantial evidence talk.

"We already got what we came for." Fugaku said pointing to Dan Uchiha who held in his hand a bag with Naruto's Kunai pouch inside. Hinata's eyes widened when she saw it because she knew some tags inside were those he used as the Nara of the leaf.

'The transfer tag for quick transactions, the phasies tag for infiltration, and the copy tag for information gathering.' Hinata thought in a matter of seconds.

"You can't take that." Hinata stated hurriedly now moving her blade away from the door to let it click shut.

"And why not?" Dan asked face as stoic as ever, even his bland voice spoke of a very boring man. How he managed to explain to Naruto 'rap' and have him not fall asleep throughout the explanation was a testament to Naruto's want to learn the art of music.

"Do-do you have permission from the Hokage?" Dan blinked and Fugaku blinked. Hinata realized they did not from their emotions, the Hyūga regained her confidence and began using some of the political knowledge she has been picking up from her heiress training.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." Hinata recited, which had Fugaku Uchiha smirking in respect that the girl knew her stuff.

"As a private citizen of the hidden leaf village, Naruto Uzumaki is protected from unreasonable searches and seizures of his belongings. I will be holding onto that thank you." Hinata raised her free hand and waited expectantly. Dan showed no emotions only looking at his boss and once sensei.

"I guess you are right." Fugaku admitted nodding to Dan who threw the bag at Hinata who caught it, she had not deactivated her eyes the entire time.

"Thank you, you may leave." Hinata proceeded to open the door once more, which had Fugaku grunting before walking out followed by Dan who looked down at Hinata when he passed her.

"I will be taking what you stole as well." Fugaku's eyes widened in shock, not turning back or stopping while Dan gave Hinata a scroll he had swiped from the Kunai pouch.

"And the other one." Fugaku turned a corner and wondered how Hinata could have caught a thief of Dan's caliber. The guy use to be a street kid before Fugaku found him and raised him like his own.

Hinata watched Dan turn the corner, with his emotions in denial at the fact she caught him stealing. Hinata had her eyes active she already saw he had things stashed away, his emotions were the ones to inform her he was walking out with things that did not belong to him.

"I won't ever let them hurt you again." Hinata promised to the boy she loved while she walked up to his bedside and lay on the bed hugging him while she brought his head to her chest.

'I promise.'
