I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise.
Chapter 78
"Shino you know what to do." Shikamaru instructed his temporary teammate. The Aburama Genin nodded seriously and opened his arms wide as swarms of flying insects flew from his jacket sleeves heading in every which direction.
They were located in the forest-like arena floor under the shade of a tree with roots that were as thick as Shikamaru was wide.
Their first point of business was scouting the other competition to find out what they were working with morality-wise. For one, Shikamaru knows Naruto and Sasuke never liked each other but their mission reports say they work seamlessly together.
"Lee, I know you are very fast and a talented taijutsu specialist. You have fought Neji on multiple occasions and managed to defeat him in the prelims." Shikamaru's voice was bland and stiff but his words seemed to get Lee hyped as he bounced on the balls of his feet, throwing random punches as he did so.
"YOSH!" Lee exclaimed in a hushed voice having already been told to be mostly silent in his youth.
"I need you to take on Hinata Hyūga if we confront them." Shikamaru instructed and got a serious nod from Lee.
That was step one of the plan, step two would be on how to take down the Raven-haired boy. Sasuke was not unpredictable but more a theory, he could change with every new piece of information gained and recorded. The same strategies would not work on him twice, Shikamaru's only option was to catch him off guard.
"Shino, you will be supporting me as we take on Sasuke." Shikamaru began as he got into a particular position. Getting into a squat with his arms facing downwards with his hands making a downward triangle.
"Sasuke is efficient and deadly, he embodies the warrior spirit and will not be satisfied with anyone but him at the top." Shikamaru sighed feeling like nothing would work as planned if even the slightest change to his calculations would occur.
"If I may, Sasuke-San is a fire-style user. My insects could have a hard time." Shino said a little less wordy due to being told so by Shikamaru.
"I have already accounted for that." Shikamaru informed and concentrated once more. That was second, now for the unpredictable blonde.
'The Shadow Clone Jutsu.' Shikamaru thought with disdain and jealousy that was too lazy to express itself. The Nara through his research on the shadow clone jutsu had learned it was a scouting jutsu that transferred memories. 'Nobody in History has managed 10 at a time. Naruto is said to be able to spawn them like the final wave of an RPG game if that was the case.' Shikamaru found the blonde to be very troublesome, his Arsenal was vast and his support was endless.
"What of Naruto Uzumaki." Shino asked and Shikamaru honestly didn't know. The blonde seemed like a happy fish in the sea but you quickly realized why he was happy seeing he was a whale, the ultimate predator. Shikamaru still remembered their first academy year.
On the first day, the blonde snuck past their Sensei without anyone seeing and began reading through his book. He fought an Uchiha to a standstill on their third year having had no formal training to begin with. He Painted the Hokage Monument under everybody's noses and then evaded multiple squads of Shinobi for 3 hours at the age of ten.
"Gossip and official reports state he spied on an A-Rank missing-nin, defeated a Chunin level Shinobi with a legendary weapon, and can create more than 10000 clones…..daaaammmnnn!!" Shikamaru groaned out loud and managed to not yawn because he had to stay focused.
"The numbers might be exaggerated but it should be understood that one Naruto is resourceful, multiple of him is a definite solution." Shino nodded at Shikamaru's thoughts finding them almost identical to his own. Shino too did not know if he could take on the blonde.
The bug boy did plant bugs on his classmates back in the academy as a weird way of making friends. His bugs would latch onto the students and leech off their chakra to survive. The one sent to the Uzumaki was full after a single drop, so little it would never make a difference. It died a minute later due to chakra poisoning.
"Leeching out his chakra is a no-go, by my calculations, I would say he has four times denser chakra than an average Jōnin and about three times more than the Hokage." Lee's eyes bulged open at the information shared as he stopped moving and looked at Shikamaru dumbfounded with his mouth hanging open.
"If you take into account his age all that chakra would have been overbearing for his body to handle due to its abundance." Shikamaru said and Shino readjusted his shades in understanding.
"I Shino Aburama understand what leader-San is trying to convey. Naruto Uzumaki has denser chakra than a normal person, instead of cutting his chakra in half when creating a shadow clone technique. It doubles with each doppelgänger around but with less dense chakra. You see Lee-San instead of dividing his chakra it multiplies it evenly." Lee nodded dumbly not understanding a thing said in the long-ass explanation.
"Troublesome, think of it like this." Shikamaru drew a line in the sand and made 3 more counting up to 4. "Now place lines at the top and bottom to connect them." Shikamaru drew lines to connect all four horizontal lines drawn on top and at the bottom. "This is Naruto." He said writing the blonde's name next to the rectangular shape he drew with 3 lines inside.
"Now cut it in half." Shikamaru made a line in the middle separating the rectangle in the center leaving one side with two squares and the other side with two squares. "We began with 6 lines, how many do we have now?" Shikamaru asked Lee who still stared dumbfounded and lost looking like he might begin to drool any minute.
"14 lines, Leader-San, that would mean Naruto-SAN's chakra needs to be divided by 14 clones before it is as dense as a normal Shinobi in theory." Shino answered less wordy and Shikamaru nodded in acceptance of his answer.
"Imagine 14 Hokage-Sama spamming Shadow clones who can spam shadow clones that can spam shadow clones." Shikamaru sighed and Lee gulped understanding dawning on him at the end of the explanation.
"What is our plan LEADER-San!?" Lee asked and the Nara strategist smirked confidently, to motivate, you had to look motivated. Their saving grace is the fact Naruto is not Kage level or the world as a whole would lick boot.

"What do we do?" Kankurō whispered in his sister's ears. They were located in the mountainous region of the arena with Gaara standing around like a stone statue.
"We wait until he decides to move." Temari whispered back while she looked to her youngest brother who stood on the mountain edge. She was nervous and jumpy. In a few hours, the attack would begin and Gaara will become the Tanuki, she would be sent to attack Konohagaru's archives and Kankuro would be on the front lines fighting along with their forces.
"Let's plan." Temari said while wearing a serious expression. "In team 7's case, we know almost nothing of how they fight. The blonde talked himself into a win, the Uchiha won without the use of Ninjutsu or genjutsu and the Hyūga fought barehanded proving herself capable." Temari took her fan from her back and placed it in front of her to lean on comfortably.
"I thought you said we would plan?" Kankuro said a bit agitated seeing that his elder sister was pointing out the obvious.
"We are, just not planning for team 7" Temari explained before smirking. "but we do know how each member of the odd team fights." The wind-style user said still smirking trying to look confident in what she did.
"The Nara uses Shadows to fight, strategies, distractions, and misdirection, he would most probably be their leader. The Aburama seems slow, he relies on his insects abundantly so without those insects he loses his biggest advantage." Kankuro nodded as he understood that much and then came the problem, Rock Lee.
"The Spandex-wearing boy is Might Guy's apprentice and with what we all saw in the preliminaries he is strong, fast, and driven. Our best hope is to leave him to Gaara if he opens those gates but we should aim to decapacitate him early he is most likely their heavy hitter." Temari as a strategist was a prodigy in Sunagakure and she knew so as well. The issue was a person can never strategize if he/she does not know what the opposition had to offer.
"Do not talk like I follow your orders. I will crush them all and you two if you get in my way." The grave and gruff voice of Gaara sounded out as he faced forward with his arms folded in front of his chest. Kankuro growled never having been a fan of Gaara's attitude but a reassuring hand from his elder sister had him loosening his balled fists.
"We won't get in your way, Gaara" Temari promised and planned on keeping said promise due to fear of meeting her end if she doesn't. Gaara didn't speak more and instead seemed to be concentrating on something or someone in the distance.
"Quench the heat, Kankuro." Temari once again tried to calm down the puppet master when he saw the disrespect Gaara was showing her.
"You spoil him." The makeup boy accused and Temari scoffed.
"More like saving your life." She shot back.
"Whatever." He returned, and the siblings looked at each other for a few seconds before Temari smiled and Kankurō Chuckled.
Gaara's anger soared, he was part of the family too so why did he not get that kind of interaction? Is it because his death killed their mother or did they just despise him for no other reason?
"WHAT ARE YOU GETTING SENTIMENTAL FOR? GO KILL THEM, GO KILL THEM ALL!!" Gaara though annoyed by the voice did listen to it. That was the Jinchuriki's first mistake, listening to a monster because he thought of himself as one.f
He pushed his siblings away until they were so far away he could not hear their pleas for him to come back to them. Mistaking their sneers as hate when in actuality they did it because they didn't like his attitude. Nobody deserved to die because of another person's bad mood or hurt.
"They will all die soon." Gara replied facing in the distance.

"This is a free for all match." Sasuke grounded out while facing the couple in front of him busy holding each other in his presence. "We are meant to work alone and not as a team." He finished looking directly at Naruto who once again showed him up.
'How did he get another Nation to partner up with him?' Sasuke wondered with irritation and jealousy. The blonde had a thing going for him, whether he won or lost.
"Look, Duncan"
"I don't want to hear it." Sasuke cut the blonde off before he could finish his sentence and turned on his heels. "I'm out." The Uchiha said dashing away from his teammates.
The Uchiha was quick to dash off in the distance so he could look for his enemies. Once he was done with them he would return to kill the blonde. Attacking him now would only make it a two-on-one fight seeing as Hinata had already chosen her side.
As he dashed he ran on the vertical surface of a tree and positioned himself on a branch. Who would he attack first? He knew the general direction of each team, all he had to do was choose who to eliminate first but he also wanted a challenge.
Naruto would not offer him one, not anymore. The last time they sparred Sasuke toyed with him, saw all his moves, and countered them expertly. The only thing he feared was the blonde being able to tap into his bijuu but otherwise, he believed Naruto stood no chance against him.
"Gaara of the sand." Sasuke decided and moved from tree branch to tree branch aiming for who he felt would challenge him so he can show the world his strength seeing the boy with the gourd was confident enough in his abilities he could help Sasuke put on a grand show.

"I don't know how I did not see that coming." Naruto said with a whistle. It was so easy to be on the same page with Sasuke when fighting others that it was boggling to think the Uchiha would not want to team up.
"His angry Naruto-Kun." Hinata told the blonde and he nodded before letting go of her and grinning.
"We beat them all and then we duke it out?" Naruto asked his princess who smirked confidently his way.
"I won't take it easy on you." She replied and he placed his hands on his hips confidently.
"I'm way stronger than I was last month." Naruto revealed to her and her smile became more adoring before replying.
"I can feel that." Hinata was not lying, she felt it as he stood in front of her his heavy chakra that seemed to have doubled in the past month. The confidence he carried made her feel safe because it told her it could take on the world.
Naruto only grinned broadly before nodding.
"Who do we take on first?" He wondered and Hinata shrugged not having a plan of action of her own. Naruto hummed for a few seconds and decided on an idea.
"How about a team up with team KcorIhsIhs….." Hinata blinked at the sound Naruto made and giggled before busting into a full-blown laugh that had Naruto feeling mixed emotions, one he liked her laugh, second, he was getting annoyed if the tick mark on his head was anything to go by.
"Sorry Naruto-Kun, I-I did not mean to laugh so hard." Hinata apologized while still trying to fight her laugh.
"Why do you laugh when I name things?" Naruto genuinely asked his girlfriend with a tone that was like a curious baby asking his parent a question. Hinata felt his want to know and decided to humor the golden blonde boy.
"How about this, If you win I will tell you."Hinata offered and Naruto blinked before nodding vigorously than he asked.
"And if you win?" Hinata grabbed her chin with two fingers and thought for a few seconds before blushing at the idea to come up.
"I-I want us to continue what we were doing on the night of the prelims…..and…… I w-want to -m-mo-move in with you, where ever you go, I go." Naruto of course was blushing at the reminder of what Hinata was talking about, honestly, he could not think of Hinata anymore without images of that night coming up and her nude form making an appearance.
The blonde swallowed saliva and nodded, wondering if he threw the match Hinata would know.
"Hahah you can't throw the match Naruto-Kun." Hinata revealed and Naruto sighed.
'I guess not." Naruto thought a bit down but a kiss on the cheek had him lively again. Did that mean Hinata would leave the leaf village when he decided to go? Because as soon as the exams finished he was leaving but if she was not coming along Naruto did not think he would be able to leave.
The two lovers began their dash toward the combined members of teams 8,9, and 10 in a mad dash.

Kakashi watched the silent video feed with Might Guy and Yamato, his eyes were focused on his sensei and father figure's son. The silver-haired Jōnin was angry his Icha Icha book rested in his right hand straining to keep it together because of the pressure being applied to it.
His sensei sacrificed himself for the leaf village, he died protecting said village. Obito died for the village, Rin died for the village. Kakashi planned on doing the same if the occasion asked for it but Naruto just spat on all their sacrifices.
"Calm down captain, I am sure there is an explanation to all of this." Yamato said watching as Kakashi's book began to burn where his fingertips released sparks of electricity.
"He is a child and is ignorant of his lineage. I am sure he is just acting out, he did find out about his burden recently." Guy Sensei said serious eyes locked on the screen showing his student with his temporary teammates as they slowly made their way toward team 7's general direction.
"He knew a long time ago." Kakashi revealed before he shook his head and loosened his grip on his now damaged work of art.
"He knew?!" Yamato asked shocked. "For how long?" The wood release user asked raising himself from his laying position so he could sit up straight.
"A very long time." All the Jōnins looked to the doorway and found Jiraiya of the Sanin standing there with his prominent frown.
"Naruto grew up alone, in this village he has one person who he trusts and loves the rest of us could drown in an ocean of lava for all he cared." Jiraiya revealed Looking at the video feed showing the two Genins of team 7.
"The Yamanaka heiress." Kakashi added and got a shake of the head in the negative.
"The Hyūga heiress." Jiraiya corrected, Kakashi blinked and Might Guy nodded.
"They are very close." The spandex-wearing Jōnin spoke up.
"Do you think he might also know about his parents?" When Yamato asked that, Jiraiya suddenly had a very bad feeling go through his body. Kakashi again blinked before grimacing and Guy squeezed his buttocks.
'Would my parents want this for me, whoever they are they must be turning in their graves.' Jiraiya felt a shiver go through his whole body and he quickly ran out of the room in a panic.
'He knows.' Was all the white-haired Sanin thought?

"You know what to do Kimimaru." The boy who had accompanied Orochimaru to Suna and spied on Gatō nodded to his senior, Guren of the crystal release before watching her walk away. Kimimaru jumped up and high to reach an open window and enter the house of his targets.
His mission was simple, to eliminate distractions to science as their lord had called the people he wanted dead. Kimimaru did not tip-toe but walked in silence as he made his way to the door and opened it wide before stepping out into the corridor of the second floor.
He made it to the stairway and made his way down, his steps still as silent as a mute but his disease was not. He coughed a few times with his hand in front of his mouth. When the coughing fit calmed down he brought his hand to the front of his face and saw blood. His face showed nothing.
"Sakura!? Baby, is that you?" A man's voice asked from downstairs, Kimimaru did not answer and instead stood there on the staircase waiting for the footsteps that followed the voice to come into view. The white-haired teen raised his bloody hand and pointed his index finger forward and down.
"I thought you were watching the finals….I, who are you…." The pink-haired male did not get to say more as a fast projectile drilled a hole through his skull and came out the back of his head with momentum that carried it to the wall behind Mr. Haruno, the first distraction.
The man stood there for a second before taking two steps back and falling on his back, his blood building a puddle under his head.
Kimimaru continued down the steps and walked over the dead body of Sakura's father so he could look for the pink-haired girl's mother. Lord Orochimaru wanted Sakura Haruno, she was the key to all he wanted to learn and access. If she had distractions like parents holding her back she would never reach her full potential.
Kimimaru stopped in front of a sofa in which Miss Haruno lay fast asleep, a second later a sharp bone as long as a short sword came out of his right palm. Raising his arm Kimimaru did not so much as blink as he prepared to bring it down. A second later he did just that.

"Hhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" The crowd screamed and screamed in approval of what was about to occur, they came to see a fight and someone was starting it for them.
Sasuke for one was a bit too confident in his abilities as he landed directly in front of team Suna. Temari was surprised and immediately began scanning her surroundings for anybody else around like the Uzumaki and Hyūga Genin.
'Three against one, It will be tough but it will also be worth it." Sasuke did not waste a second and began with a Fire jutsu.
"Fire style: Great fireball Jutsu!" The 30 feet tall ball of fire was aimed straight at the three-man cell. Blazing a trail towards them all in the Rocky mini Mountain of the arena.
Temari knew she was safe as long as she stood behind Gaara as sand was raised from the ground to intercept the great fireball technique. Kankurō took the chance of Sasuke's vision being obscured by his own technique to switch with his puppet before attacking.
"Where is Naruto Uzumaki?" Gara's grave voice questioned out of Sasuke's sight making him fume, even the Suna Genin's only wanted the 'dobe'.
"Fine." Sasuke cut off his technique when he saw the wall of sand was not budging. He activated his two tomoe Sharingan and placed chakra on the soles of his feet before he dashed at them all with great speed.
Kankurō quickly came forward to intercept the Uchiha but a sand bullet punched through his puppet's left leg and broke it courtesy of his younger brother.
"Do you want to die Kankurō?" With that phrase alone, Kankurō felt a nasty killing intent come around and threaten his existence. The puppeteer dropped from the wrappings on his puppet's back and picked up his weapon. The whole time his sneer was evident and Gaara took it as hate toward him.
Turning away from his older brother, Gaara turned around to find Sasuke trying to reach him but being kept away by his sand. The jinchuriki raised his arm and a section of his defensive sand rose to the sky before he called out.
"Sand Drizzle" Gaara formed small lumps of sand high in the air, which he had falling on Sasuke like rain. He controls the sand lumps with his chakra, allowing him to ensure they strike their target and even guide them toward the target's blind spots. Because this control allows Gaara to strike the target from multiple directions at once, the target's attention will be focused upwards as they attempt to avoid it opening up avenues to attack from different directions, but.
Sasuke saw every single projectile coming his way and swerved through them like a dancer. Moving left and right, doing flips and twists, ducking low and rolling. Temari honestly knew she could not attempt such maneuvering especially if her life was in danger and the Uchiha was still trying to reach her brother.
When the Uchiha got within three feet of Gaara he threw him with a Kunai before taking out a storage scroll and in a plum of smoke he had two Fūma Shurikens in his possession. The Kunai was of course easily disposed of by the defensive wall of sand that protected its owner.
'That sand reacts strangely, with how quickly it reacts and the fact it can defend my attacks move for move without him looking it must be automatic.' Sasuke began calculating he also noticed no twitch in Gaara's body language when controlling his sand except for the raising of his hands before performing the sand drizzle technique.
Sasuke tied 3 feet Ninja Wires to the two Fūma Shurikens letting them drop to the floor with him holding onto the ninja wires. The Uchiha smirked and ran an electric current through the wires and blades sending sparks of electricity through its metal surface.
'Three moves and he is dead.' Sasuke planned before dashing back in. This time Gaara did not wait for the Uchiha to reach him and instead sent 5 tentacles of sand to deter the teen.
Sasuke's lust for battle began to make an appearance he grinned before he twisted away from one tentacle on the left and with a flick of his wrist he had a Fūma Shuriken making an arc and cutting the sand down.
The second came directly at him and Sasuke's eyes showed him the perfect way to dodge. He jumped over the sand tentacle finding himself parallel to the ground while twisting like a top with his two sharp projectiles twisting along with him cutting down the tentacle.
Sasuke in his landing threw the Fūma Shuriken in his left hand directly at Gaara with great force and precision the sand tentacle that was on route to Sasuke made a u-turn and instead went to intercept the sharp object but it was cut down with the Fūma continuing its attack.
Sasuke watched as two more tentacles came up to block the Fūma Shuriken, and when they succeeded. He threw his second projectile before he went through hand seals and called out another Jutsu.
"Lightening Style: Electromagnetic Murder!" Sasuke squatted placing his hands on the ground and released a supercharged torrent of electricity in the direction of Gaara. His electrically charged Fūma Shuriken was stopped by a sand wall but his lightning Jutsu was able to reach the Jinchuriki and give him a big kiss.
"Aghhhhhh!!!!" Temari was shocked out of her mind to hear her little brother in pain as arcs of electricity danced around his body and broke down pieces of his sand armor. She reacted without thinking as she drew her fan and swung it in the direction of the culprit.
Sasuke With Sharingan still active saw the gale of wind coming and jumped high, drawing a Kunai with an explosive tag and throwing it in her direction. Not a second later Sasuke saw hundreds of senbon coming at his airborne form and he scoffed, the ice dispenser's projectiles were faster.
Drawing another Kunai, he used it to deflect every single poisoned Senbon before he reached the peak of his jump, with an explosion going off below him. Sasuke came into view of the audience who followed everything through a video feed on a big projector. Going through hand seals Sasuke decided to go big.
"Fire style: Great fireball jutsu!" This time Sasuke unleashed a 60-foot-tall ball of flames aimed at his enemies below making the audience cheer for the daring Uchiha.
"Where is Naruto Uzumaki?" Sasuke quickly looked to his side to find Gaara's angry face staring him down while he stood on a sand podium. What followed was Sasuke being slapped by a sand tentacle that blasted him down below with great speed drawing first blood and more cheers. Sasuke grits his teeth as he braced for impact but it wouldn't be that easy as another sand Genin came forward.
"Ninja Art: Dust Wind Technique." Temari used her Giant Folding Fan to generate a gust of wind that layers the surrounding area in a blast of sand. The gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes.
Sasuke at that second of looking at Temari caught her in a genjutsu and she aimed her attack away from him. He then performed a substitution technique with a log to escape another sand tentacle finding himself on a tree branch while taking a deep breath and wiping the blood on his chin.
'Three against one won't work.' Sasuke deduced.

"He already started?" Naruto asked Hinata who had her dojutsu active as they ran back towards their teammate. They never got to team ShiShiRoc because Hinata with her active dojutsu had the whole arena in her sights and spotted when Sasuke initiated a battle with team Suna.
"Sometimes I don't understand that guy." Naruto complained in frustration. When Hinata saw Sasuke alone against 3 Genin she requested they go help him and Naruto was not about to say no to his girlfriend even if it was about helping Duncan Mac Duckass.
Hinata simply smiled when she heard his words and a second later they broke through the foliage of the makeshift forest and began running up the makeshift mountain to reach its peak.
"What is the Situation up there." The Uzumaki questioned his girl who frowned and shook her head.
"He is fine, he did get roughed up when they all ganged up on him but now he is taking Gaara on his own the others are just watching." The Hyūga replied before her iris looked to her right. "Shikamaru and Shino are approaching too and Lee is making a turn to come from our left." Naruto nodded before making the cross seal and in a puff of smoke, a clone appeared before disappearing in a Shushinne no jutsu.
The two lovers reached the peak of the mountain and Naruto grabbed Hinata's bridal style before performing a Shuushine that carried them very high up in the sky bringing them into view of the audience below.
"Haaaaa!!! NARUTO UZUMAKI!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!" A random fan screamed out waving at the blonde who grimaced and looked to Hinata who was glaring down at the female who said it. When they reached the peak of their jump Naruto gave her a reassuring squeeze before letting her go.
She did not like it and her face showed her displeasure. Naruto grimaced again and held onto her once more.
"Naruto-Sama!!! Come take my contact!!" Naruto's cheeks were attacked a second later by Hinata's hands pinching and pulling them with clear irritation due to Naruto wanting to do as another teenage girl requested.
"Ouch ouch Hime…." The blonde complained but simply got a huff from his girl who looked away from him and revealed her Katana. Naruto gulped and began apologizing profoundly even though he didn't know what he was apologizing for.
"3 weeks on the sofa." Was her only warning before she zoomed in on her enemies who were none the wiser of their location. "Clone." Hinata commanded and Naruto quickly made a shadow clone who looked at his creator with disdain. A moment later the clone became Hinata's stepping stone to jump higher up.
"Don't forget to catch me." Naruto was sweating bullets as he nodded, Hinata was not happy with the attention he was getting from the opposite sex.
"Haaaaaaa!!! Naruto-Sama please have babies with me!!!" Naruto blushed and felt Hinata's glare even as he descended and she ascended higher.
"I'm in so much Shit." The blonde Uzumaki deduced before taking a deep breath and concentrating.
"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!!" He called out creating 20 clones who all grinned mischievously knowing how deadly each of them truly was. "Show them a blast!" He commanded and the 20 clones swan dived aiming for the puppeteer who grumbled as he tried to repair his puppet.

Kankurō was very displeased as he tinkered with his puppet Karasu, trying to fix its broken appendage courtesy of his little brother. He wouldn't have minded if it was a mistake but the brat did it on purpose and then threatened to kill him.
'If he didn't have that sand protecting him I would have given him a good beating.' Kankurō thought in irritation as he finished putting his puppet back together. Once done he planned on standing up but he found he was surrounded by 20 clones landing around him all grinning broadly.
"You want to die brat?" Kankurō questioned not liking that he was held back from taking the exams earlier with people his age because his father wanted all his children in one team.
One brave clone stepped forward making his way to Kankurō leisurely the puppeteer knowing to never drop his guard took control of his puppet and placed it in front of him ready for whatever the blonde had planned for him.
"Oops!" The blonde said as he dropped a TAYA on the floor and went to pick it up. Kankurō sneered seeing it was an act and sent his puppet after the blonde with poisonous blades coming out of a compartment on its wrists. The clone grinned and looked up as the puppet reached it in seconds ready to pierce it.
"Great Clone Explosion." it whispered and it went boom with the puppet right about to pierce it. The explosion was big because of the amount of chakra the clone carried and the force released pushed Kankurō three steps back, his puppet now in a thousand pieces.
When Kankurō regained his footing he was surrounded by Nineteen clones who had performed the body flicker technique to reach him. Kankurō's eyes widened with fear when he realized what came next.
"N-no wait…."

Rasa the fourth Kazekage growled when multiple explosions rocked the arena with his son in the epicenter of the blast. He was feeling unsure of things, a wood release user, a new invention, and two promising Genin. The leaf village had many things going for it, the Uchiha managed to hurt Gaara in a few moves, if the Uzumaki did not outright kill his son then he was definitely out of commission and would not be able to continue fighting.
"So that is his son?" Onoki questioned looking at the blonde Genin who landed after the explosions had dimmed down looking down at Kankurō's downed form.
"Whose son?" A, asked as he grew interested in the blonde the moment he revealed the TAYA to the world and now for the prowess he showed. "Namikaze!" The fourth Riakage stood up abruptly at the resemblance staring at him when the blonde faced their way. He did not need to overthink things because when you thought of a blonde child's father you thought of a blonde man.
"Maybe there is hope for your village just yet." Onoki commented on A's intelligence that the Riakage did not acknowledge as he growled because of never having known his rival had a son even after having placed a spy in the country many years ago before attempting to kidnap the Hyūga heiress.
"The moment I saw him I recognized the resemblance." The fifth Mizukage commented with a clear tone of interest. "Since he is Uzumaki would that mean the fourth Hokage had a secret relationship with your previous Jinchuriki?" Hiruzen was not liking the man behind the mask, he knew too much and spoke too freely.
"I do not understand." The third Hokage lied so he could see how much the Mizukage knew but the man did not elaborate anymore.
"What is the meaning of all this secrecy Hiruzen, is that your Jinchuriki, you said the Nine-Tails was lost to the world." Rasa had a bad feeling in his gut, it was worldwide knowledge that only an Uzumaki could carry the nine-tailed fox. The boy was a seal master and Jinchuriki, that was a bad combination to see. The Kazekage watched as the dust settled and he spied his secondborn on the floor conscious, bleeding, screaming, and in great pain. Whether he would survive or die he did not know or care, at the moment what mattered was…..
Rasa stood up and walked toward the room designated for him and his Shinobi to talk in private if need be. Each Kage had one, it had silencing seals and was soundproofed as well as thoroughly scanned beforehand by the Kage's guarding detail.
No one commented as the Kazekage and one of his Shinobi entered the room leaving one Shinobi behind to keep an eye on the other Kages. Hiruzen smiled, it seems Naruto even after the stunt he pulled was still aiding in the peace talks if the fear he imposed by his simple existence made the Kazekage take a moment.
'The TAYA tag is not something the leaf village can have going public at all costs. It would only make War more deadly and organized if left in the wrong hands.' Hiruzen found reason to justify his decisions as he thought what a great resource the TAYA would be to the Leaf village as a whole and not the world and its citizens.
The Third Hokage was no fool, he was angry at the blonde who so brazenly announced his defection from the village hidden in the leaves and proclaimed his alliance to The Village hidden in the whirlpools. The old man should have seen the stunt coming, he was there when the blonde almost defected the last time.
'Maybe it is time I tell him of his parentage.' The Third contemplated as he watched the Hyūga Heiress fire off a Water Release: Water Bullet Technique from up high aimed at Gaara. Her position up above will only cause the technique to cover a wider area, it is a very sound plan, and he wondered who came up with it.

"My patient is starting to thin Snake." Rasa growled in the small square room with one entrance and exit. His emotions showed none of his collected coolness and instead a very angry killer. A terrifying visage that would cause many to freeze in fear and or panic, the death stare did nothing more than raise the hands of the one being glared at
"Kazekage-San, I was enjoying the fights both inside and outside very much, what could I have possibly done now?" The snake Sanin asked in a voice dripping with amusement that Rasa did not like.
